Todays shot is @deannagaylemodel from a shoot we did a while ago. In thos shot Deanna is rocking the ring light. A ring lights can really add a high fashion look to a portrait, but you have to be careful not to over do it. Loving my lunch with @jenniferstarkphotography in the East Village

Last night @jenniferstarkphotography and @ralphstarkphotography took the night off to hang with our friends @the_photocoop and enjoy a 70s style shoot. This is one of the images I shoot. I gave it the full 70s style treatment. The image was originally shot on digital, but converted to B&W using Alien Skin Exposure. In Exposure I used the Kodak Plus-X filter. Finally I set the grain pattern to 35mm film. Is it exactly the same as shooting on my Nikormat, using a chrome lens 50mm with Tri-X, no. Well it's way back Wednesday. Here is an image from the late 80s. If i recall correctly it is circa 1989. The models are Jeff Harrington and Jenet Ipac. Jenet's husband John was the hair stylist and MU on this shoot.
