You and Donnie were carving pumpkins for the halloween. Your tongue was stuck out as you were focused on your pumpkin "art".

"Did you paint your nails?" Donnie tilted his head to the side, noticing your black nails.

You stopped carving and looked at him. "Oh, yeah! You noticed. Do you like them?" You held both of your hands up, smiling.

"They look very pretty." He smiled back at you.

"Thank you!"

"Do you want to see my pumpkin?" He asked, taking the final look at his work.

"Of course!"

He turned the pumpkin to your direction, and you saw a creepy bunny carved into it. You opened your mouth a little with a confused look. "Frank?"

He nodded and looked at the pumpkin again. "Do you like it?"

"If you actually see him like this, it's actually pretty creepy." You turned the pumpkin in your direction again.

"I asked if you like it."

"He's ugly."

"I'm not asking about Frank, I'm asking if you like how the pumpkin looks." He chuckled.

"It looks nice, you are very talented, but he's still pretty ugly." You leaned and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you." He rolled his eyes and smiled as a small blush appeared on his face.

After a successful pumpkin carving, you went home. Donnie laid on his bed, staring at the ceiling. He did really like your nails, he even thought about painting his own nails to match yours. The only thing that couldn't make it happen was that he didn't have any black nail polish.

Instead of just lying in bed, he went downstairs for something to drink and to find something that might be a replacement for the nail polish. When he was about to open the refrigerator, he saw a black sharpie on the whiteboard. He instantly knew what he was about to do.

"Hi!" You waved with both hands when Donnie opened the front door to let you in.

"Hi." He gave you a gentle smile.

"I thought that we could make some cupcakes today." You entered the house and immediately went to the kitchen.

Donnie came after you instantly and sat down at the table. "Sounds good."

"You think so?" You turned back to him and noticed his hands.

When he saw that you noticed, he held both of his hands up to show you his nails. "I painted them with a sharpie."

You tried to hold your laugh as you stepped closer and held his hands to get a closer look. "Why sharpie?"

"I didn't have any black nail polish." The sharpie was pretty messy, it wasn't only on his fingernails, but also around them, he also missed some spots. "I wanted to match you."

"Really?" You smiled and looked at him.

"Yeah." He smiled back.

You wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed his cheek. "You are the most adorable human being on earth."

A small blush appeared on his face when you said that.

"But I want to fix your nails, do you mind if I paint them with my nail polish?"

"Really? I don't like the sharpie either, I did it very messily." He looked down at his nails again.

"I still think that the idea was very sweet, thank you." You kissed him again. "Let me quickly go home, and I will be back in a few." You smiled.

"Okay." He smiled back.

After you went home to bring some nail polish Donnie still sat in the kitchen, looking at his nails. His smile grew bigger when he realized that you actually liked his idea of matching with you.

When you came back, Donnie let you scrub the sharpie off his nails, and you fixed them with some black nail polish.

After you were done, Donnie looked at them with a smile. "Now we match perfectly."

"That's right!" You grabbed his face and gave him a quick peck on the lips. He blushed again.

"Do you still want to make cupcakes?" He asked with a grin.

"Of course, just please don't make Frank themed ones..." You joked.

"Can't promise you that." He giggled.
