Assisting In Deception (Part 1)
Pairing: Rafe Cameron x Reader
Warnings: People saying bad stuff about Rafe.
Pronouns: She/Her
Word Count: 2.4K
Summary: A wedding and rumours lead Y/N and Rafe in need of a partner.
Masterlist
Tumblr media
The sound of the keyboard as Rafe types is the only thing that can be heard when Y/N enters the room. She places his coffee in front of him and opens the planner she designated for work as she sits on a chair facing his desk. “You have appointments at eleven, two, and five for today. I’ve booked your haircut at three tomorrow and your dad called saying he wants you to call him when you get off of work. Is there anything else you need me to do, right now?” she questions, leaving a checkmark beside each reminder she informed him about. Rafe takes a second to look up from his computer, “No, assuming you put all of that in my digital calendar with more information. That’s all, thank you.” He returns to work and Y/N retreats back to her desk outside of his office.
Rafe Cameron is a cold and distant boss. He is polite, but he never smiles. Everyone in the office is scared of him, except for Y/N. Her kind and warm personality makes him not as stern with her, but it doesn’t mean she has the privilege of getting past his hard exterior. No one knows anything about him. However, this doesn’t stop her from developing a tiny crush on her boss. She knows it is a cliche, but she recognizes it is probably only because he is handsome and polite. Even if it was based on real emotions, she would never try to develop a romantic relationship with him. She doesn’t believe in love anyway.
Y/N is taking calls for him when he leaves his office. “I’m going for lunch,” he informs her and she gives him a nod to signal she heard him. He is watching her as he waits for the elevator. “I’m not sure if Mr. Cameron can fit you in today. He already has meetings up until six today. No, he normally doesn’t go to meetings after that time, Mr. Rosa,” Y/N begins, but upon hearing the name, Rafe flashes seven fingers to her. “Actually, I just checked with Mr. Cameron and he is fine with the meeting beginning at seven. Is that okay for you? Great. Have a good day, Mr. Rosa. Thank you.” Y/N goes to get her lunch but is immediately stopped by another call coming through. Rafe observes from the elevator that she takes the call and doesn’t go to lunch.
——
When Rafe returns from lunch, Y/N is still on a phone call with the same client as when Rafe left. He takes note of that and reminds himself to have a chat with the client about holding up the phone line around lunchtime. She watches as Rafe approaches the desk and gives her attention to him, waiting for him to tell her what he needs. Instead, he places a paper bag on her desk and takes the phone from her. “Hello, Mrs. Matthews. Ms. Y/L/N has been very polite by letting you take up her lunch hour, but right now, I’m letting her go on lunch, so you can call back tomorrow. Thank you, goodbye,” he hangs up the phone and sets it to voicemail, then turns his attention towards Y/N. “I’ve bought you lunch, please, eat it. Take an hour and don’t call back Mrs. Matthews until tomorrow. I know you feel bad, but she never has anything important for me. And next time, just tell the client that you have lunch. If they have problems, then direct them to me.”
He enters the office and she opens the bag to see what he got her. Inside, she finds the creamy mushroom gnocchi from her favourite Italian place. She has it at least once a month when she treats herself to lunch that is not leftovers from the night before. Y/N didn’t know that he noticed. She moves a strand of hair behind her ear and heads to the break room to enjoy her lunch.
——
Y/N returns from lunch and is just settling down at her desk when Jenna approaches her. “Hey, how was your lunch?” Jenna asks. Y/N knows Jenna wants something so cuts to the chase, “What do you need?” Jenna gives Y/N relieved eyes at not having to keep up the charade. “Could you please tell him some contractors have been saying some pretty bad stuff about him on the news this morning? The media is going crazy about it,” Jenna begs, widening her eyes and pouting like a puppy dog.
“Why me? Aren’t you the head of PR? Last time I checked, that’s in your job description.”
“It is, but he’s scary. He doesn’t get as mad at you as he does with anyone else. Maybe he has a crush on you?”
“Don’t be ridiculous. It’s because I don’t dance around telling him the truth. He likes my honesty.”
“Yeah, yeah, but can you pleaseeee do it? I’ll buy your coffee for the whole week if you do.”
“Fine, but I want that coffee. What have they been saying about him?”
“That he has a heart of stone, he’s rude and has secret children that he makes the mothers keep a secret.”
“Damn, that’s a lot. Only the first thing is kinda true, but the others are like so far out there. He barely leaves his office. How is he supposed to father children? I guess that’s why his dad wanted him to call him.”
“Probably, thank you so much. I owe you.”
Jenna runs back to the elevator to head down to the PR offices and Y/N makes her way into Rafe’s office. She doesn’t stick to pleasantries as she knows he has a meeting soon. “Contractors have been on the news all day saying crude things about you. PR wants a meeting to do damage control. You know before random women start popping up saying that you are their baby daddy,” she tells him, hoping the joke will soften the news. Rafe looks up from his computer with a confused look on his face, “They are saying I fathered children? Obviously, they don’t know me well enough to know that I barely leave my office.”
“That’s what I said, but it’s what I’ve been told to tell you. Do you want me to cancel your other meetings this afternoon so you can head to PR?”
“Yes, please. Why are you telling me this and not Ms. Walsh?”
“Uh, she had to get everything ready for the meeting. She had her assistant relay the message to me.”
“I see. So it wasn’t Ms. Walsh that I heard a few minutes ago.”
“No, sir.”
“Well, then I guess you’ll need someone to get you coffee for the next week.”
Her eyes widen at being caught in the lie and quickly leaves the office after his teasing. He only ever teases her.
——
Y/N leaves work at five o’clock on the dot after being told by Rafe that it is okay to leave. Before she left, he was still in the meeting with the PR team. She wonders what they could possibly be talking about to be in a meeting for so long. She enters her apartment to find Juni at the small kitchen island. Their small New York apartment doesn’t have much, but the view is incredible. It almost makes the absurd rent worth it. “So your hot boss was on the news today, Sweetie. How is he? Does he really have a million baby mamas?” Juni jests, pointing her pen at her roommate. Y/N just shakes her head at her friend, “He’s still in a meeting with the PR team. You know none of that is true, Juni. He literally never leaves his office, so unless he can get his work pregnant, then he is the father of nothing.”
Juniper Cresswell has been Y/N’s best friend since they were ten years old. Juni had just been adopted by the Cresswells and started attending the same school as Y/N. The pair instantly bonded over not having a traditional family. Y/N’s mother, Phoebe, had her at a young age and her biological father was non-existent in her life. Her mom did get remarried though to Nate and they had Nancy two years later. Nate treated her like his own daughter and even changed his last name to Phoebe’s so that they could all have the same last name. Y/N grew up in Queens and when she moved out, she was able to rent an apartment close to home with Juni.
The knock on the door and the quick opening of it pull the attention of the girls. Standing at the entryway is Alexander. “Sup neighbours. How was our day?” he questions, leaving the doorway to sit at the kitchen island with the girls. “Mine was good. I got to help a mom get custody of her children from her wealthy asshole ex-husband, who only wanted the kids to get back at his ex-wife,” Juni retells, going back to her paperwork. Y/N walks over to him, “It was okay. Mr. Cameron got me lunch and he is being accused of having more children than Nick Canon.” This causes Juni to look up from her work, which goes unnoticed by Y/N because she is going through the mail that Alexander brought up. “How come you didn’t tell me your hot boss got you lunch, Sweetie?” Juni interrogates. Y/N stops at one particular letter, “Because it’s not that big of a deal. He knew I couldn’t eat mine. A client wouldn’t let me get off of the phone.”
Alexander and Juni give each other a look and then stare at her as she ignores them. She opens the pink envelope to find a wedding invitation from her cousin. Francine has been dating Gwen for eight years now, so it isn’t a surprise that she is getting married. Y/N loves her cousin, but she can’t help groaning. She hates the idea of having to go to another family event alone. She doesn’t mind being single, the issue is that family events come with constant badgering from relatives. Why are you still single? Don’t you want to start your family soon? Aren’t you lonely? You only have a few more years to have a baby. Juni looks over Y/N’s shoulder to see the invitation. “Ooh, another event you have to go to by yourself,” Juni wisecracks, taking the invitation out of Y/N’s hand to show Alexander. She gives him a pleading look that asks if he could go with her. He shakes his head with pity, “Damn, I wish I could go with you, but that’s when I have to get my wisdom teeth removed.”
Y/N turns to Juni in the hope of finding someone to be a buffer at the wedding. Juni sadly makes her lose that hope. “Sorry, Sweetie. That’s my dad’s birthday. My mom is planning a big party and everything.” The other girl sighs, resting her chin on her hand, “I guess I’ll just fly solo. Again.” Juni shrugs, “You never know. Maybe you’ll meet a handsome stranger, who you fall so head over heels for that you’ll be married before Francine.”
——
The PR meeting finishes at eight and Rafe is home a half hour later. It was an unproductive meeting of just going around in circles with the same weak idea of him making donations to various organizations and suing the contractors for defamation. Donating probably isn’t going to do much in the eyes of the public; they would say he is doing it just for how it would look during a so-called scandal. Suing won’t do much because the damage is already done. Dax greets Rafe at the door with an excited wag of the tail. “Hey bud, I miss you,” Rafe pets the German shepherd, moving over to the kitchen to get something to eat.
He gets Dax’s food ready first and watches as the dog devours the food soon after it is placed in his bowl. Rafe then moves over to the stove to make himself grilled salmon, fondant potatoes and steamed broccoli. He makes his way to the living room and turns on the TV. He quickly changes the channel from the news, which has his face plastered on it. He knows his issues aren’t the worst problem in the world. He’s a wealthy, white, male; this society is designed for him, but he can’t help feeling disappointed that people would blindly believe things about him they hear on TV, especially if they aren’t true. Rafe had to deal with enough prejudices when he was growing up and he went through a little bit of a wild phase. He might have been a little rebellious, but not so much that he should have been judged harshly by the media.
He settles on the couch, remembering he has to call his dad. He takes his phone out, dialling the number he needs. The phone stops ringing after a few seconds, “I know most of what they are saying is not true, but we need to workshop how we are going to fix this.” Rafe shakes his head at his dad’s direct approach.
“Hello to you too, Dad. And Jenna thinks it would be good if I make some donations and sue the contractors.”
“Okay, that’s all fine, but you need to do something more. It’s too bad that you don’t have a girlfriend. You could show just how dedicated you are to her and that might distract the media.”
Rafe frowns at his dad’s slight disappointment and quickly wants to rectify the issue, “Actually, I’ve been meaning to tell you. I’m dating someone.”
“Really? Since when? How come you haven’t told me about her?”
“Um, we’ve been dating for about a month. And I haven’t told you because I wanted to see where it is going. But it’s going good so I guess this is as good of a time as ever.”
“This is great, Rafe. How about I come over later this week and we can talk to the PR team about making appearances with your new mystery girl? Talk to your girl about this too. Tell her how important this is going to be for your media image. ”
Rafe nods at his father's suggestion, “Yeah, Dad. That sounds great. I’ll see you later, bye.” Ward utters his own goodbyes and hangs up his phone. Rafe moans, sitting back on the couch. He looks at his now cold dinner in dissatisfaction. “What am I going to do now?” he whispers to himself.

Day 3 of femslash february, this time for @chamblerstara who once upon a time told me you enjoyed this pairing :D (special thanks to @partsofthesamecosmicbeing who gave me a prompt that inspired this fic!)
warning: substance abuse
Rosa Ortecho knew from a very young age that she was destined to die young.
Mimi DeLuca had done her best to hide that from her, but she was a bad liar and couldn't hide the face she made while reading Rosa's palm when she was eleven years old. She didn't tell her exactly what had caused her whole demeanor to change, but she figured it out very quickly after spending hours studying the lines on her hand and comparing them to a book on palm reading. She was going to die young, it was just a fact of the stars.
It took less than a year for her to come to terms with that fact. At first it made her cautious, scared to do anything, but puberty hit along with some other not-so-fun brain shit and Rosa decided she was perfectly content with looking pretty for her casket. It meant she could be reckless and it didn't matter.
Sure, that recklessness that earned her a lot of shit from her parents and her sister and her friends, but she liked it. She liked the feeling of everything being completely spontaneous, even to herself.
It was why she skipped out on a family dinner. She knew she was supposed to be doing better and she had promised a family dinner, all to set better examples for Liz and show that she’d be reliable enough to go on that road trip with her this summer. Instead, she took the car and she was now somewhere in Texas.
Rosa stepped out of the car without turning it off, all but dancing towards the convenience store door. Maybe she was a little high and may she shouldn’t have been driving, but who cared? She was going to die young anyway.
She meandered through the isles, grabbing two large bags of skittles and a 2-liter of coke before heading towards the counter. Behind the register stood a tall, young blonde girl who looked like a goddamn goddess. Rosa smiled at her, her mind hazy with pot and pills and making it impossible to walk away from the vision in front of her.
“Hey,” Rosa said. The girl gave a crooked, half-assed smile. “I’ve never seen you before.”
“Should you have?” the girl asked. Her name tag said Jenna.
“I wish I had,” Rosa said. Jenna rolled her eyes. “I don’t see many girls like you at all.”
“And what kind of girl do you think I am?”
“Gorgeous, yet you’re not a bitch about it. I know a lot of girls who are tall and blonde and are bitches about it,” Rosa said, “That’s hot.” Maybe she was a little angry at Isobel Evans for standing her up again, but it didn’t matter. This girl was much more interesting.
“I see.”
“And you’re not getting offended by another girl hitting on you, so clearly you’re even hotter than I thought,” Rosa said, grinning loosely. Jenna huffed a laugh and leaned against the counter.
“Usually I don’t go for girls who hit on me at work,” Jenna said. Rosa licked her lips and gave her a once over.
“Usually?”
They stared at each other for a moment before Jenna let out a soft breath and a smile, pushing herself up to ring up Rosa’s things. However, she’d already given her a positive reaction. Rosa had no intention to let that slip away.
“So, what are you doing after your shift?” Rosa asked.
“Going home. I have an early morning,” Jenna answered, “Your total is $8.13.”
“Oh, yeah? Why’s that?” Rosa said, pulling out a crumpled five and four ones.
“ROTC,” she responded. Rosa raised an eyebrow and tilted her head to the side.
“I bet you look hot in uniform,” Rosa said. Jenna huffed a laugh and went to give her her change. Her hand lingered just a little too long before Jenna grabbed her wrist and tugged her close. Rosa couldn’t help the reckless grin that found her face.
"I get off in an hour.”
“I can wait.”
Rosa wasn’t stupid. She knew the look in a girl’s eye when she saw it. Or, maybe it wasn’t the look. Maybe it was the lack of pushing her away even when they were in a small town. Rosa knew what it was like to have different interests in a small town. The only way to get your fix was by being risky. Rosa was being risky.
Jenna was taking her risk.
Rosa waited for her and admittedly sobered up a little bit. She wanted to remember at least one rendezvous with a leggy blonde. Jenna let her hair down and walked to Rosa’s car with a purpose, sitting in the passenger seat.
“You’re ballsy,” Rosa said, “I like that.”
“No offense, but I’m not in the mood to talk,” Jenna admitted bluntly. Rosa let out a blissful little breath. Oh, how she loved women who knew what they wanted.
“I’m Rosa, by the way,” she said, putting the car in drive and quickly heading somewhere a little more secluded.
“Jenna,” Jenna replied, shifting in her seat. Rosa grinned and turned the radio up.
She drove them to the desert that she’d driven to more than a few times and Jenna wasted no time before climbing into the back seat once it was parked. Logically, this was stupid and reckless and could probably led to her getting killed. But, somehow, that’s where all the fun laid.
“You’re not scared I’m gonna kill you?” Rosa asked, following her easily. They sat across from each other, waiting to see who would make it very clear what they were doing. Jenna took a deep breath and squared her shoulders, tilting her head to the side.
“It’s a stereotype for gay men to find random hookups, right?” she said, “So why can’t I?”
“You know,” Rosa laughed, moving closer, “I really have not met a single person like you before.”
Jenna closed the space between them first, every bone in her body exuding confidence as she kissed her. Rosa laughed and grabbed the back of her neck, pulling her closer as she kissed her again. Somehow, despite her ridiculous legs, Jenna navigated the backseat all too well. It made Rosa question if she’d done this before. She didn’t ask. She didn’t really want to know.
Rosa let her take the lead, let the military-bound girl ignore the fact that she tasted of weed and wreck her anyway. It was easy to no longer be upset about the fact Isobel stood her up and it was easy to forget that Maria was too close to Liz to be an option and it was easy to forget her mother didn’t give a shit about her enough to tell her who her real father was because Jenna from a gas station in Texas knew how to use her fingers too well.
It ended with heavy breaths and a stupid, lazy kiss that felt more obligatory than actual desire. However, when Rosa looked at her, her eyes half-lidded with pride and a smirk on her face, that desire came back. She leaned over and pressed a proper kiss to her lips, stealing the breath from her. Her hand slipped down to unbutton her khakis.
“What are you doing?” Jenna asked, stopping the kiss. Rosa paused.
“Do you not want me to?”
Jenna paused for a minute, staring at her like she was questioning if she was serious. If the tone wasn’t so confusing, Rosa may have laughed. Or she actually probably did laugh out loud and chose to ignore that she did. Jenna nodded.
“Do it.”
The hookup ended too soon. It left Rosa feeling happy and wanting to ask to see her again. She liked the way this girl looked and kissed and carried herself. She liked the way that, even though she had her life together and had plans, she was risky. She felt like a good idea.
“Hey, can I ask you a question?” Jenna asked as they drove back to the gas station. Rosa got prepared to say yes to a date and add a playful warning that she was destined to die young like she always did. “What’s the point of coming to Texas to hook up with people?” Rosa hid the fact that felt like a kick.
“Bigger state, more options,” Rosa said. Jenna let out a breathy laugh.
“Okay,” she said, “So, there’s probably no chance in seeing you again, huh?”
All the easiness that came from their hookup seemed to leave once it was said allowed. Even if she asked her on a date, it was pretty impossible. Not only did they live in different states, but they were too different. Rosa would only bring her down. That’s what she was good at.
“I’m cursed to die young,” Rosa said as she pulled to a stop at the gas station, “You don’t want to get involved with me.”
Jenna sighed and looked at her. She just stared for a moment before she leaned across the center console and kissed her. Rosa almost thought it meant something.
“If you’re ever around, come find me”
Rosa watched her walk to her car and get into the front seat. She thought about asking for her number and she thought about just never going back to Roswell. If she disappeared to go runaway for a girl she met once, no one would question it. It was a very Rosa thing to do. But if there was one line Rosa refused to cross was leaving Liz on purpose. She wasn’t her mother.
So, instead of trying to fall in love, Rosa drove home and promised herself she’d see Jenna again one day. Even if it was ten years in the future.

A continuation of my AU where Michael is adopted by the Evans’s instead of Max.
Based on RNM 2x03. Liz and Kyle discuss their progress. Jenna's in town and she hangs out with Alex and they bond despite the awkwardness of having both dated Max. Isobel goes through a traumatic process, but her brother Max is there. Rosa spills the beans to Maria who confronts Liz. Alex finds new information and shares with Max. WARNING. THIS CHAPTER TALKS ABOUT ISOBEL's ABORTION.
-----
Okay! So, Malex are living together (at Max's house). Bet you guys can guess the foreshadowing with Alex and his music in this chapter...;) This opening scene is supposed to parallel the Maria/Michael omelette thing at the beginning of 2x03, but it's decidedly different for various reasons...you'll see. Another deviation which was mentioned last chapter is that Isobel tells Max that she's pregnant. Partly because she has her adopted brother physically there and partly because he'd feel it anyway, which does come in to play and is why one of her brothers is physically with her during the process in this AU. Again, TRIGGER WARNING. Jenna is back in town, but she doesn't really have a reason to care that Michael's dead, so her interest is in Max, which leads her to Alex at the Project Shepherd bunker. So, they bond instead of her and Liz. This was fun because they are both military. The end of their convo (which was Liz in canon) actually works really well for Alex and I loved writing it. Instead of talking with Jenna about her experiments, Liz talks to Kyle and their convo reflects various ones they've had in canon as well as what Liz tells Jenna in canon about Rosa. Rosa freaks out Maria and since there's no alien boyfriend to take her anger out on, it all comes out on Liz and of course she brings up things unique to this 'verse like Liz avoiding her over Michael and her and Alex's relationships with the alien boys. Lastly, Max hasn't been as traumatized and fired up about his mom as Michael had in canon because of his childhood. Therefore, he hasn't found the newspaper yet, like in canon. However, his time with Isobel through her process does get him to that place by the end when Alex brings what he found.

ooh lucifer! and rnm bc i'm curious af lol
My darling @rosaortecho asked me this forever ago and, like the idiot I am, I am just now getting to it.
“Lucifer”
Favorite female character - Mazikeen. I don’t know how to describe it totally, but she’s phenomenal. Her not understanding humans/human customs? Peak comedy. Her aggressiveness and punch first, talk never attitude? Love that for her.
Favorite male character - Lucifer Morningstar. That man devil angel is extremely charming, very funny, and hot as hell. 🥵🥵🥵 (I’m not even going to dignify that with a “pun intended,” because 1) we all know it was intended and 2) it was too easy and obvious.)
Favorite season - Season 2. I thought the introduction of Goddess/Charlotte was really interesting and funny, because she was a hoot and a handful. Plus, it was nice to see celestial beings and a family and not just God, his angels, and Goddess who??
Favorite episode - “Liar, Liar, Slutty Dress on Fire” - 2x02. This was the first episode I saw and what actually made me decide to watch the series, so it’s nostalgic and holds a special place in my heart.
Favorite cast member - From the little I know, Tom Ellis. That man is just a hoot. I watched his “Thirst Tweets” video from Buzzfeed and boy was I laughing.
Favorite ship - Deckerstar is surprisingly good for being the main ship. I almost never love the main ship, but here we are.
Character I’d die defending - Trixie. She doesn’t need me to, because that girl can handle herself, but still. Protect her at all costs.
Character I just can’t sympathize with - Pierce/Cain. I do not have the energy to get into it.
Character I grew to love - Linda Martin. I never disliked her, but at the beginning she just kinda...existed. And then one day I realized how funny she was and we’ve been best friends ever since.
NOTP - Pierce/Chloe.
“Roswell, New Mexico”
Favorite female character - In a show with Maria DeLuca, Elizabeth Ortecho, and Rosa Ortecho, how am I supposed to choose??
Favorite male character - Kyle Valenti. Sexy doctor with a heart of gold? I am here for it.
Favorite season - Season 1. The pacing, the twists, the mystery, the fake-outs. Just really well done.
Favorite episode - “Sex and Candy” - 2x06. Ignoring the threesome at the end, the episode had a lot to like. Kyle at Planet 7 was a very surprising but extremely pleasant twist, and it definitely needs to be brought up more. Plus those rhinestones! 🥰🥰🥰
Maria and Alex dealing with crazed twin cobblers was also quite entertaining.
Me: “My favorite season is season 1!”
Also me: “My favorite episode is not in season 1.”
Favorite cast member - I don’t know. I find Vlamis and TB annoying with their constant “Vlamburn” and Malex stuff, so I guess not them?
Favorite ship - Camecho. These two. Wow. I know they’re never going to happen, and for the most part I do like Echo, but Liz and Jenna’s interactions never fail to be top shelf.
Character I’d die defending - Maria and Kyle.
Character I just can’t sympathize with - Jesse Manes, for obvious reasons. Stef too. Like, I’m sorry she has a blood disease, but can she not be so...abrasive? It’s like she’s trying to make people not like her. Which, maybe she is, but it’s working. And she even had that shpeel about how expensive it was for her dad to keep her alive with his “fancy insurance,” but she’s also opposed to universal healthcare?? Make it make sense. 🙄
Character I grew to love - Guerin and Isobel. They’re punks, but they definitely grew on me since the first episode, because (unfortunately) they’re just so goddamn funny.
NOTP - Malex. I think they were toxic, and there’s too many issues for them to work through I think. Plus the fandom’s obsession with them is annoying, so. And I’m with you, #recastalex

Roswell New Mexico thoughts  Episode 13 Fire Isobel using powers Liz sciencing Rosa trying to save Max and is successful  Kyle to the rescue Rosa and Kyle help Flint Kyle glaring at max  The mom Saves Charlie Maria and Jenna at hospital  The standoff: Jesse, Gregory, Alex and Michael.  You’re not well dad - no you don’t hit your sons you asshat Hit Gregory and Alex and stole Alex’s gun The alien thing about to explode Or melt Gregory killed Jesse There are no more Manes men left. Well alrighty then The three of him watched him die, ouch That was a lot for the first 4 minutes, damn Javier is back They’re building a statue to Jesse Manes and having a parade. Only Jesse Manes, a homophobic alien hater, child beater would get that. Ugh Diego is back Maria and Michael, Maria is getting injected with serum Family heirloom  Sweetness Isobel and Max - remote Not talking Max is remembering, vague memories Heard whispers Max is freaking out Isobel misses Noah from before he was horrific Sweet talk Maria made me bring food over, gave it to Gregory The Shed Safest space Harlan built the shed This place sucks Destroying the shed You trying to kill Alex’s brother Talking about Noah Stop keeping secrets Sponsor Arturo’s citizenship California Figure it all out together  Found a body - my grandfather killed Tripp Key was on Tripp How did Mimi know? Jenna has mug shot on computer of Max Max has doctor’s appointment  Maria took off bracelet Maria I can’t watch you disappear, I love you. I love you too...I don’t want to be someone who hurts you... Her break up is heartbreaking  Tripp gave box to Patricia Tripp and Nora were in love. Cosmic Steph and Kyle - Kyle is incredibly sweet Don’t flirt with other doctors while I’m gone Jenna pretend Drunk flirting Max and Kyle Access to Liz’s lab - Diego’s not honorable, boo Alex, Michael and Isobel at the crashdown Hunting Louise and Nora, the stowaway Max at the lab, destroying it to keep Diego out I love the song in that scene Pod squad Alien stowaway  Cowboy up and focus The other June 14, 1997 Someone you can trust with a secret Poor Trip and Nora Liz and Rosa  Jenna and Charlie I love their scene Can we keep them Liz is mad A year of my work I wasn’t hurting anyone ...And right now i hate it.  Max drinking more antidote Liz and Rosa talking, Liz going to California. Rosa going back to rehab. Yay  Talking about Max Alex and Kyle  Flint will be ok Alex singing Pretty song Michael and Isobel Looking at his boy Steph is ok. It’s a miracle, Or just really good science. Will she be around next season? Liz leaving, Kyle hugs and thanks her for helping staff ... It’s not our time right now, but it will be. I think so. Hope for the future  Rosa Liz leaving Max not You are the best of me. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Alex seeing Michael not there and he looked so sad I love that they clapped for him Gregory looked so proud of his brother.  Did Isobel leave too? Is Maria still in the hospital?  Forrest and Alex kissing  People like him, bad white men, die like heroes. People like us, we die villains Rosa told her mom she loved her, told her mom to leave again and not come back Liz waiting for Max, but leaving Max, Michael and Isobel I unlocked something Unlocked a cage, tunnel Liz at the ocean Cave Sealed up Open up the seal Howdy... Partner Well damn
I love this show an awful lot and I am so very amused by the ending.
Is he a twin, clone, what?
He was the stowaway.
The song was so beautiful and perfect and I love it so much. I’m sad that Michael didn’t hear it all, but it was perfect.
Isobel is amazing and lovely and smart. Everybody should listen to her.
They had a specific date that Nora and Louise knew the three kids were going to exit the pods and Nora told Tripp.
Tripp died loving Nora for always. He knew and remembered Louise’s daughter with Roy and gave her the diary and box but not the key which he had on him.
Harlan killed Tripp and buried him under the shed, how cold and evil could he be.
I’m glad Flint survived even if we didn’t see him. Alex and Gregory can help him change.
I want more Maria next season with a story for her
I want more Gregory next season please plus Their mom and Clay.
I want Rosa to be happy and healthy next season.
I’m intrigued about next season
I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Y’all I’m gonna be real with you that was good episode both main ships echo and miluca breaking up aside! Tyler voice was so nice and Alex and Forrest finally happening the irony tho of them getting together after Micheal is single again lmao! Also the fact that Micheal doing and saying things to Maria first we love to see it! Like him playing the guitar for her first and not saying I love you first and both times being to Maria kinda foreshadowing! also the fact that Malex are stelena you know how them were like destined with this whole cosmic thing then delena happened in s4 that’s gonna be miluca! so I’m not at all upset or mad about anything other then Maria sacrificing herself again for her friends and them not showing up not even horrible trash human Isabel I don’t know if I’m happy she didn’t show up or if I’m mad since she’s like her aunt! I think I’m more happy just mad Liz Rosa or Alex not showing up and also mad they had Jenna take her to the hospital that was just bad writing after another this season but oh well now it’s over thank god and my baby is safe! I’m also even more mad they had them take Maria grandma stuff from her like yet another black woman things being taken away stolen even by white people I’m so fucking tired! this break is good so glad it’s gonna last for a whole year maybe even more. The whole doppelgänger thing who didn’t see that coming lmao every story that carina writes if from TVD and honestly it’s so funny! Just hope next season they give us so much Maria Rosa and Kyle or I won’t be turning back until season 4 when Miluca is back together again!

Jenna + Liz in Roswell, New Mexico 2.03
[Caption: Eight gifs of Jenna and Liz. Second: Jenna says, “I’m just really not a wine person.” Liz responds, “Well, then, I am officially out of ideas on how to comfort my dead boyfriend’s ex-lover.” Third: Liz says, “Sometimes I skip steps when I’m dumbing things down. Not that you’re dumb. It’s just...” Jenna responds, “No. All good. You know, I think it’s safe to say we are different kinds of smart.” Sixth: Liz, laughing, says, “It’s like you said. We’re different kinds of smart. Maybe we’re different kinds of dumb, too.” Seventh: Liz says, “I am hammered.” Jenna responds, “Well, I can drive.” She pulls out her whiskey bottle, revealing that it’s still full.]
