I know saying goodbye for the final time will be here soon, and tonight I can clearly see the glass wall that’s between us until then.
I know I’ll always miss you and I’ll always feel the hole you’re leaving behind, but I’m trying to be strong and move on.
Preparing myself, I’m reluctantly letting the hole get a little bigger every day.
Sometimes I’m surprised and feel proud of myself like maybe I’m even doing a good job at it.
Other times, I lay down for bed at night and my eyes start to water like they are now when I fully allow myself to feel the absence of you.
I guess some days the growing pains just hurt more than others.

I’m really sorry but I have a hard time believing that platonic bros would spend time together in the middle of being extremely busy, in such romantic situations. You’ve got one flying into NY after the other, waxed legs on show, going on a romantic silver day date, to then drive off to gay friendly CT the next day for a romantic weekend getaway, then them coming back to NY before one flies back home.
Then we have them renting a beautiful villa in jeju, having fun together, watching the sunset on a boat together. Again.
https://x.com/stopkookminpls/status/1821204442588250507
Then I have no words as to what we’re seeing from Sapporo. No words.
I know they are going to bro it out in the show, they have to right? It’s just everything screams domesticated intimate bfs here, I don’t see how anyone can say otherwise. Bros trips are to Cabo Mexico, certain islands in Europe to get wasted, cities in Eastern Europe, they could have gone to London to drink, but not this. And not normally just the two of us….
We've seen NOTHING really from Sapporo yet though. Just the same few clips over and over 😂 we've still got so much content from that to come. Especially with how right before Sapporo, they found out that they wouldn't have to miss each other. Because now they knew that their buddy enlistment application was accepted.
NY/CT and Jeju happened before they knew they got accepted. This was a making memories while we can and enjoying our freedom together while we can planned trip. Then they got to find out that actually they were able to stay together the whole time. Their whole enlistment got to be together. And they went to Japan and we got the most domestic and cuddly looking Jikook in the Japan airports and so many matching fits in Japan.... And the most touchy and snuggly and clingy Jikook ever when they got back home too....
This was after they knew they'd get to be together. And the energy between them man... Idk I think I'm just most excited to see what they share with us from Sapporo. And I'm excited to see if they share deep conversations with us about their hopes and wants about their application. Or anything else at all too. This show is going to be so special!!

can u make a whole one shot with the scenario of riding seungkwan while the sunsets ?
ps: i did not review it sorry wc: 0,6k tw: sex obviously, riding, I didn't write until they came, s/o is wearing seungkwan's clothes, do they fuck on the grass?, i think that's it let me know if I forgot something this is so simple and i'm so sorry, i'm def not having the best week writing, it's really not my best work but I did it with a lot of love and i hope you like it, requests are open and you can send what you want
When Seungkwan invited you to spend a few days in the city where he grew up, you never imagined yourself being on top of him. Even though it was to be expected, a couple alone for a few days, all you could think about was Seungkwan showing you the place where he grew up and guiding you around the island.
On the first day you went to small restaurants to eat local food and visit a beach, and in the afternoon when your eyes met the setting sun and Seungkwan noticed your passion for the view he quickly suggested that you wake up early the next morning and enjoy the view from the sun rising together.
At 5 am you were awake, too early for Seungkwan's opinion, but even with you completely drowsy you could see the sparkle in your eye looking forward to see the sky.
With just an old shirt of Seungkwan and his company you went to the backyard. The house was super private, there were tall fences around the yard, soft grass where you lay, and some handmade wooden chairs.
As it was still early, both of them hadn't said much, just mumbling and scratching their sleepy eyes.
Seungkwan wore loose sweatpants and a shirt like yours, he tried to keep his eyes only on the sky, after all the sun was going to come up at any moment, but seeing you in your hometown made his heart flutter in a new way.
Seungkwan didn't have the exact words to explain, but you really fit in with the island air. After several minutes of being watched you finally realized that you were the only one looking at the sky.
"What happened, love?" You mumbled, getting straight, sitting next to your boyfriend looking straight into his eyes.
“You looked great in Jeju, it suits you a lot” He brushed a strand of hair out of your face, then laughed at your rosy cheek. “Sit here” He pointed to his own lap.
“You got dirty in Jeju” You laughed at your own joke placing a leg on either side of Seungkwan.
Soon you leaned into his chest and started kissing and marking his neck. He had you right in his hand. Seungkwan sighed softly while you could feel a volume pressing you between your legs.
“Come on baby, warm me up while the sun rises” He whispered between the messy kiss he was giving you.
Slightly dragging yourself back, you lowered the hem of his sweatpants, without underwear you massaged Seungkwan while dragging your panties to the side. After a few seconds you moaned as you came into contact with your boyfriend completely.
Seungkwan pulsed in you as you tried to simply warm him up and nothing else, but honestly it was really impossible. “Kwannie, let me ride you, please”
You started to move after an affirming kiss from Seungkwan. Even after so many years together, so many nights spent, you still squirmed like it was the first time when Seungkwan was inside you.
Your hips moving back and forth, your chest starting to rise and fall faster and faster, your eyes closed and their cheeks red, your hips rubbing together and their minds grateful for the friction.
“Kwannie…” Even still sleepy you had mindblowing sex with him.
“You are so good to me. so beautiful at sunrise” You would sneak up to kiss his swollen lips
The sun began to rise. The blue of the night began to disapear in the sky while orange began to replace it. The early morning air became a beautiful morning and soon you would hear families starting their day.
You were already distracted approaching the peak, but you still managed to see Seungkwan panting, taking out his cell phone.
Starting to feel dizzy, you heard the sound of a photo being taken and saw Seungkwan's smile reigning across his face.
“My view is so goddamn beautiful, the most precious thing to see”

PAIRING: crush!jungwon x admirer!reader
it was the summer holidays and your school hosted a camping trip for the juniors going into their last year of school - senior year.
this year the camping trip would be held at jeju island near the beach.
when the word got out that the trip would be held at jeju, everyone was screaming and jumping up and down out of excitement and so were you.
you ran home with the letter in your hand which was almost crumpled up from you gripping on to it so hard and barged through the door.
''ma! this year's camping trip for the juniors is at jeju island! can you even imagin-''
'woah there sweetie! speak slower the camping trip for the juniors is gonna be held where now?" she says whilst laughing at your goofyness
''jeju island ma! isn't that so exciting?"
'it sure is hun." she says as you hand over the letter to her with the biggest smile/ grin on your face
"can i go? pretty please? ill take care of our restaurant and do the dishes there for the whole week and even mop the floo-"
"y/n you can go! you don't have to do stuff out of your way to help me but a little help on saturday night would be good!"
"saturday?" you say taking of your school i.d and placing your coat on the coat hanger.
"whats the occasion ma?"
"mrs yang has a reserved dinner at our restaurant and i would look you to be their waitress - oh! and she has a boy in your year, yang jungwon?"
you eyes bulge out of their sockets when you hear his name.
yang jungwon.
hottest guy on earth.
cutest living organism.
THE most jaw dropping piece of art ever to be made.
"y/n? whats got to your mind, do you know yang jungwon?"
"o-oh yeah ma, he is in my classes" you say smiling back to your mom reassuring that you were okay.
"oh that's lovely! are you two friends?'
friends? yeah, no.
everyone knows you liked him ever since your ex bestfriend snaked on you to everyone in your year.
she even had the AUDACITY to tell her sister to spread around in the older years as well.
ever since you barely to talk to him and make any signs of communication knowing how awkward it would be.
you can't bare the sight of him but you still have that crush on him and from time to time when your zoning out in lessons and your teacher call you out for it, niki would have the gut to say -
'oh sir! she's day dreaming about jungwon!'
which would of course get everyone laughing and even the teacher.
jungwon would always look at you and you would avoid eye contact and just get flustered.
"u-uh we definitely know eachother ma!"
"just wonderful y/n! i also heard he is quite a charming one huh? why don't you start something? " she says laughing.
she wasn't lying he was definitely charming obviously but to speak to him after 10 months with not talking? that would be awkward.
"haha ma! your so funny, i should get back to my room and start doing some homework" excusing yourself from the very awkward situation whilst getting the letter back from the counter which was already signed by your mom.
you ran upstairs can close your door lightly but enough to hear the door slamming sound.
"what a weird child" your mom says
TIME SKIP | SATURDAY ⏰
one hour before jungwon came to your restaurant you hop out of the steaming shower and dried your hair and got change into your uniform and put on some makeup
"y/n! let's head out now"
you yell back a okay and do a few touches to your hair and put on some jewellery.
you run down the stairs almost tripping pick up your bag and throw in your headphones and a water bottle with a small bar and make your way out the door
you open the car door and slam it shut
"you look nice today your mom says" pushing past your hair to admire her beautiful child
you pause whilst doing your seatbelt and smile back to your mom
"thanks ma!" you say hoping she won't ask the reason you randomly decided to apply make up on.
you guys share awkward glances before she puts on the radio and you text your friends
eunji 🦋: y/n how is the whole jungwon restaurant fiasco? 👀
you: girl i just got in my car and i my mom is blasting country music
minhee 🐈: did you put on the make up i bought you for your birthday?? 😊😊 (say yes rn before i storm in to that restaurant and put it on for you)
you: dayum girl dw i did and i think i did it good lemme show you it *insert pic of you
eunji 🦋: BRO IF I WAS JUNGWON I WOULD GO ON MY KNEES AND PULL OUT A RING
minhee 🐈: FFRRR Y/N WEAR THIS TO SCHOOL AND YOU MIGHT AS WELL PULL THE WHOLE POPULATION OF THE SCHOOL ATP 🤤
eunji 🦋: ↳ minhee 🐈: INCLUDING THE GIRLS AS WELL
minhee 🐈: ↳ eunji 🦋: EXACTLY TELL US HOW EVERYTHING GOES!!!
you laugh at how funny your friends are and your mom notices it.
"sweetie get out all your laughs and goofynees now because we are here"
those words repeat in your head
we.
are.
here.
the past four nights have been sleepless because of today and here you are
you nod to your mom and quickly type something in the groupchat
you: YEA YEA IM HERE NOW SO I GTG BYEE
you get out of the car and put some lip balm on and run your hand through your hair
you barely work and your mom's restaurant because of how many workers there are but it looks like her waiter went on holiday the perfect time jungwon's parents reserved a table.
the time was 6:11 PM and jungwon's family was coming at 6:15 PM
you run to the bathroom lock yourself in their and practice your welcomings to your costumers.
"hello! welcome to ma's kitchen, the best in gwangdo! what's on your plate today?"
no thats to enthusiastic
"hey peeps! welcome to ma's kitchen, wanna dine in?"
ew, if was the costumer i would laugh right in my face
"hello~! welcome to ma's kitchen. what would you like to orde-
a knock from the bathroom's door interrupts you and touch up your makeup and leave.
"your mom would like you to greet the costumers in since the yang family will be coming here
she checks her watch
"now"
you bow down and say thank you before heading your way to the desk near the enterance.
you where on your phone tapping through people's story when you hear the entrance bell ring.
you drop your phone on the desk and make your way to the entrance to see jungwon and his family.
"oh my! y/n baby~ your so tall and your so pretty you look so grown as well!" she says cupping your face as you laugh it off
you could see mr yang and jungwon staring at you two but mr yang's glare was much more softer than jungwon's
did i do something wrong? you thought
you hand them the menu and bring them towards their seats
"would you like to order any drinks for now?"
mr yang nods his heads "yes, can i get 2 beers for the olders and jungwon?
can i get some sprite?"
you nod but you only look at mr yang
"so 2 beers and 1 sprite?"
this time you look at all three of them for their confirmation and they say yes
you smile back and leave the table and make your way too the bartender
'hajun, i need two beers and one spirte please' you say handing him over the piece of paper
'coming right up' he says snatching the peice of paper as you head back to the desk greeting the other guess as today was the weekend meaning lots of costumers would be coming in today
as you greet the next costumer you see a familiar face
kang seola
the one who snaked on you to the whole year and the year above
yeah no chance you were serving her, on top of that allowing her to enter your mom's restaurant
she was with a few other friends who weren't from your school as you couldn't recognise their faces
you had to options
A) choose to serve them and get the money you needed for your ' pay check' - didn't benefit you
B) slam the door on their faces and put them on the restaurants blacklist - definitely benefitted you
or
C) get another waitress to serve them - benefitted you/ but wasn't better than option B
'hello welcome to ma's restaurant, please wait here for another waiter to serve you shortly' you say smiling at them sarcastically whilst tellin a waiter to serve them
you go up to the bartender who hands you the drinks that jungwon and his family ordered and you make your way there
you hand them their drinks and they say thank you one by one
'another waiter will come around to serve you your food, sorry for the delay today is very hetic' you say as you hand out the menus and bow down as an apology
'oh no darling it's okay! were just having a chat take your time hun' says mrs yang patting your shoulder reassuring you that they don't mind the wait.
you smile back and make your way to the desk again when you feel a water get splash all over your uniform
your top is drenched in liquid and the glass shattered all over the floor near your once dry shoes
you look up to see seola and her friends laughing sheepishly as stare at you innocently
"oops i spilt something, be a good waiter and clean it up''
you wanted to shout at her so bad but you couldn't as it would freak the costumers and that was the last thing you wanted to happen for your mom and her business
you sigh and get on your knees swooping up the broken glass shards and individually placing them into a paper bag to later throw away
you could hear her taking photos of you from the loud shutter sound from her phone
you feel your eyes brimming with tears as your vision gets blurry when you feel the hand of someone else help you collect the shards
it was jungwon
you look at him but he's too busy collecting the remaining glass shards and after he's done he scoops it in a bag and gives it to you
of course you had a crush on him for a reason but today it felt like you got a crush on him for a second time
his hair was slightly ruffled , long enough to cover his perfect eyes and his choice of style is so cliché but it suits him so much
you can't help yourself but blush from jungwon's sudden action as you stood up to put the bags that was full broken glass to the dustbin outside of your restaurant
you could hear footsteps following you so looked behind to see jungwon following you from behing with his hands formed into a little bowl carrying some broken glass that was left behind
"uh jungwon! aren't you hands bleeding from the broken glass? I don't think you should be holding on to them you could get scars?" you say quickly placing the bags on to the pavement floor an rushing over to jungwon with one of your peppa pig plasters to cover the big scar on his palm
once done you collect the broken glass bags from jungwon's hand and throw them into the bin along with the trash bin with all your might
you turn around to see jungwon staring at you, you feel abit embarrassed to see your life long crush see you do all that whilst looking like a mess
'y/n i wan-'
jungwon gets cut of by the slam of the back door being pushed open
'oh y/n! are you hurt sweetie? i should've of known that those girls that were coming in were eunji and her mean group!'
'mom i'm oka-'
'look at the state of you! you should go home and get pack for that trip you have with your school, just take care of yourself and freshen up okay?'
says your mom cupping your cheeks whilst bringing you inside leaving jungwon outside by himself
your mom helps you take of the apron and sends you to the changing room whilst she calls your sister to come pick you up
after getting changed you make your way out from the staff entrance waiting for your sister to arrive whilst scrolling through your phone when you hear your mom bid goodbye to mr and mrs yang
'thank you so much for coming in! i would love too see you guys again soon!'
'nonsense! thank you for the amazing company and food! see us as a frequent customer' mr yang says mrs yang laughs with him.
'y/n! come here and say goodbye to our customers properly!' your mom says putting the attention on you as your make your way to them
'thank you for coming' you say bowing down to jungwon's parents whilst making eye contact with jungwon in between
'wow your daughter is so pretty!' says mrs yang turning around to look jungwon
'y/n perhaps are you going to the camping trip? ' says mrs yang whilst patting down jungwon
'oh uh , yes i am' you say with a hint of confusion in your tone
'do you reckon you can look after jungwon?i don't trust him by himself for so long, please make sure he eats properly there!'
'mom' says jungwon irritated at her comment
'jungwon, your mother is trying to help you out son! plus, y/n looks mature enough to take care of you!' says jungwon's mum hitting his arm playfully
'don't worry mrs yang, my daughter will take care of your handsome son' your mom says smiling back at them
they continue to talk until your sister comes to pick you up in her car
'take care y/n, thank you for serving us today' says mr yang smiling at you as your mom opens the door
'thank you, bye mr and mrs yang - bye jungwon, bye mum!' you say waving from the window
⏰ DAY OF SKL TRIP
'y/n i don't now how you managed to be so calm with her acting like that' eunji says still annoyed at the fact that seola would do that
'trust me i bet she wasn't but mr lover boy was there so she had to be all mysterious' minhee laughs will saying it
'okay that's true but if he wasn't i would've dragged her out of that restaurant myself'
'yeah yeah'
'mhm of course you deffo would've'
eunji and minhee tease you for a bit before leaving the bathroom and going to the coach
'okay everyone i will list your partners recommended by your own parents' says your teacher
everyone bursts into whines and moans
'wait recommended by our parents, that means i'm gonna be with seungji' eunji throws a tantrum knowing she's not gonna sit next to her own twin brother for 6-7 hours straight
'HELL NAH IM GONNA SIT NEXT TOO MY NEIGHBOUR' minhee receives a message from her dad saying she's sitting with her neighbour's emo kid
'wait guys i might have to sit with jungwon'
you starts panicking remembering what his mother said
'oh shit, good luck then' eunji dashes off and minhee follows screaming
'better not mess up!'
eunji and minhee were in a different coach so you had to wait for jungwon to come on the coach with you
you start panicking
god this is so awkward
what were you going to do, either way you would’ve had to sit in a packed coach with jungwon for at least 3 hours
you prayed and prayerd that you could be there before him
but i guess your prayers didn’t work
jungwon was standing at the coach on his phone almost as if waiting for someone
waiting for you
‘jungwon, hi!’
you say running over
‘sorry for being so late, i guess i got caught up with something’
he laughs abit and puts his phone in his back pocket
‘it’s okay, let’s hop on the coach, im pretty sure all the good seats are left’
you guys quickly scramble on the coach squeezing through the tight path in the middle of the coach
‘look y/n, over there’
he points to some seats at the back of the bus - ish
there not the best seats but they are the only ones left
you quickly waddle over and take a seat near the window, jungwon following right behind
you put your headphones in settle in, cancelling the loud shouts of your classmates
jungwon goes on his phone and you can’t help glancing over
‘if you want anything you can just tap me’
‘thanks jungwon,will do!’
you say quickly and lean your head against the window closing your eyes hoping for the ride to go smoothly
you also can’t stop thinking about jungwon being right next to you but you start noticing your eyes getting heavier and heavier
you fall asleep but dream about the camping trip ahead
a/n: AHHH OMG IM BACK WADDA 🫡🫡 skl has been so stressful but dw guys the actual camp trip thingy will be out soon (hopefully 🤗🤗) I get tired so easily and sometimes forget i have a tumblr acc anyway bye bye - 4 now 👹👹

All that teaser needed was a pride flag. I'm sure bh editors were itching to add one.
Hahaha 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈 careful, they'll say we're "spiralling." They want us to be weeping and crying because that's what they do when Taehyung so much as yawns near JK.
This is an interesting coincidence though:
The boat at sunset near Chagwido Island in Jeju and Tae's story picture of sunset (on a boat?) near Chagwido Island!
Edit just to show it's definitely the same rock formation: note the two dome rocks from the teaser that match as well...
Tae posted his sunset 5 days before he posted these pictures from Jeju:
And Jimin's hair was black as it seems to be in the teaser.
Interesting! Hopeful for a Tae appearance? And if he doesn't appear, it'll be really sus 😂
Thanks anon! 💜

A Promise of Forever
(Gaeul x Female Reader, Romance, fluff, lesbian, marriage proposal)
A serene beach in Jeju Island, South Korea. The sun is setting, casting a warm golden glow over the sand. Gaeul and the reader are walking hand in hand along the shore, the waves gently lapping at their feet.
---
The salty breeze tangled Gaeul's hair as she walked beside you, her laughter ringing like music in your ears. The sunset painted the sky in hues of pink and orange, mirroring the warmth you felt inside. This was your favorite place, where everything seemed perfect.
**Reader:** (smiling) "Can you believe we've been together for three years now?"
**Gaeul:** (grinning) "Time flies when you're in love. It feels like just yesterday we were meeting for the first time."
You remembered that day vividly. It was a chance encounter at a coffee shop in Seoul. Gaeul had spilled her drink, and you had offered her a napkin. Your eyes met, and from that moment, you were captivated by her charm and kindness.
**Reader:** "I still can't believe you asked for my number after I gave you that napkin."
**Gaeul:** (teasingly) "Well, I couldn't let such a beautiful woman slip away, could I?"
You laughed, feeling the familiar flutter in your chest. Gaeul had a way of making you feel like the most important person in the world.
**Reader:** "Do you remember our first date?"
**Gaeul:** "Of course I do. We went to that little park by the river and talked for hours. I knew then that I wanted to spend my life with you."
Your heart swelled at her words. You had been thinking about the future a lot lately, and tonight felt like the right moment to share your feelings.
**Reader:** (nervously) "Gaeul, there's something I want to talk to you about."
Gaeul stopped walking and turned to face you, concern flickering in her eyes. "What is it, love?"
You took a deep breath, gathering your courage. "Gaeul, these past three years have been the happiest of my life. You've shown me what true love is, and I can't imagine my life without you. I want to spend every sunset, every sunrise, and every moment in between with you."
Gaeul's eyes widened, and she placed a hand over her heart. "What are you saying?"
You reached into your pocket and pulled out a small velvet box, opening it to reveal a delicate ring. "Gaeul, will you marry me?"
Tears welled up in Gaeul's eyes as she looked at you, her expression a mix of shock and joy. "Are you serious?"
You nodded, your voice steady despite the rapid beating of your heart. "I've never been more serious about anything in my life. I love you, Gaeul, and I want to spend forever with you."
Gaeul's lips trembled as she reached out to touch the ring, her fingers brushing against yours. "Yes," she whispered, her voice breaking. "Yes, I'll marry you."
Relief and happiness flooded through you as you slipped the ring onto her finger. Gaeul threw her arms around you, pulling you into a tight embrace. You could feel her tears against your shoulder, and you held her close, savoring the moment.
**Gaeul:** (pulling back slightly to look at you) "I can't believe this is happening. You've made me the happiest woman in the world."
**Reader:** "No, Gaeul. You've made me the happiest. I can't wait to start this new chapter of our lives together."
Gaeul kissed you then, a kiss filled with all the love and promises of your future. As the sun dipped below the horizon, you knew that this was just the beginning of a beautiful journey with the woman you loved.
---
Later that evening, you and Gaeul sat by a bonfire, watching the stars twinkle above. The ring on her finger glinted in the firelight, a symbol of the commitment you had made to each other.
**Gaeul:** (resting her head on your shoulder) "What do you think our wedding will be like?"
**Reader:** (smiling) "It will be perfect, just like you. We'll have all our friends and family there, and it will be a day filled with love and happiness."
**Gaeul:** "And after the wedding, we'll start our life together. We'll travel, build our home, and create beautiful memories."
**Reader:** "Yes, and no matter what challenges come our way, we'll face them together. Because with you by my side, I know we can overcome anything."
Gaeul's eyes sparkled with love as she looked at you. "I love you so much. Thank you for choosing me."
You cupped her face in your hands, your heart overflowing with emotion. "I love you too, Gaeul. Thank you for saying yes."
As you shared another tender kiss, the world seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of you and the promise of forever.

˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ Under the sunset
Taglist: @curly-fr13s @elizalabs3 Pairing: Changbin x Bella Timeline: Between Maxident and OORDINARY. Tags: Fluff
After the water games, it was decided that Lee Know and Seungmin would go out to buy the stuff needed for the barbeque. As they went, the other members were left to their own activities, most of them remaining in the pool to play.
Bella, who was by the pool throughout the entire time, walked towards the edge of the floor, where it was covered by metal railings and glass panes. She leaned on it, feeling the warm sunlight of Jeju Island hit her skin. Even though the trip would be short, she planned to make the most of it with her boys.
"What are you doing?" She turned her head to see Changbin walking towards her. He was drying up after being in the pool for God knows how long and now changed into a long sleeved shirt that was tight around his body, allowing Bella the privilege of seeing his muscles.
"Just watching the view." Bella replied with a smile before returning her focus to the scenery.
"I like the view right now ~" Changbin immediately sung making Bella laugh. She felt him hug her from behind and she enjoyed the feeling of his biceps on her.
"Today was fun." He muttered, his face in her neck.
"Glad you had fun, Changbinnie." She smiled and ruffled his, still wet, hair. The two were silent for a couple of moments, enjoying each other's presence when they heard someone call them.
"Are you guys going to head inside now?" It was Hyunjin.
Bella glanced at the older rapper beside her. "I know I'm not." This made Changbin look towards Hyunjin, shouting that they were going to stay a bit longer. He nodded and went inside, following the rest who had entered a few minutes prior.
"You're not feeling cold?" Bella asked him.
"No, I still feel hot from playing in the pool." He said before bowing to the staff who were now leaving after packing the equipment. They would stay in a nearby house and give the group their own privacy and come back the next morning. Bella also turned and bowed, thanking them for their hard work.
After they left, the place was silent, if you don't count Han and Seungmin singing loudly in the house. Bella's eyes turned from the view and towards the now empty pool.
"I want to swim for a bit." She commented as she walked towards it.
"Now?" Changbin asked.
"Yeah." She proceeded to take off the large shirt of her body, revealing a purple one-piece costume. She dived in and Changbin could only look and laugh in awe as he watched her swim. While she didn't swim athletically like Chan did, she was still pretty good. The only reason why she didn't participate in the games today was so that the teams would be equal.
"Aren't you going to get in?" She asked him and he shook his head.
"I just got out. Why would I want to enter the pool again?" He replied.
"Good point." Bella said as she floated smoothly on her back. Another comfortable silence ensued as Bella swam laps around the pool whilst Changbin watched.
After some time, Bella began to notice the sky was turning orange. When she looked over the horizon, the sun was already halfway gone, making her gasp loudly. As a result Changbin looked at her in alarm.
"What is it?" He asked, ready to dive in and help if something was wrong.
"The sunset is so pretty!" Bella exclaimed. "I almost missed seeing it!"
Changbin blinked once. Twice. Thrice. Before he finally let out a tired sigh and looked at her with a mildly-angry look.
"I really thought you got hurt." He said. Bella did not seem to hear him as she quickly got of the pool and ran towards the edge and leaning over it. Seeing this, Changbin quickly grabbed the towel on the chair and dashed towards her, wrapping the material around her.
"Careful!" He yelled. "What if you fell?" Changbin made sure that the blanket was covering all areas of her body, especially her chest. He didn't know whether the place was safe enough but even we they try, some 'fans' would always find them. So it was always best for them to be on guard.
At hearing the worry in his voice, Bella turned to him and sweetly smiled at him, apologizing. At that moment, the sun's warm orange rays fell onto her face, making Bella look more beautiful than ever in the eyes of Changbin. He stared at her before looking away, the tips of his ears pink.
"It's fine. Just never run near a pool." He looked back at her. "You can fall and hurt yourself."
"Okay, I won't do it again." She said genuinely before looking back at the sunset. This time Changbin followed her gaze and proceeded to watch the sunset with her.
As the sun went down, the hand that was still wrapped around her pulled Bella closer to his body. She smiled at this and wrapped her own arms around them. The two remained under the sunset until Lee Know and Seungmin came back with stuff for the barbeque.

[Eastern Standard Times] Hyukoh and Sunset Rollercoaster: The Indie Collaboration of the Year
This interview belongs to Eastern Standard Times. December 5, 2024. By Andrew Yee.
Eastern Standard Times: How would you introduce yourself now? What is the most important thing to know about who you are today?
Kuo: I'll introduce myself as a lead singer, guitarist and music producer from Sunset Rollercoaster and the owner of my label Sunset Music.
OHHYUK: I'm OHHYUK from HYUKOH and I play guitar, sing, and I am also the producer for HYUKOH. While he (Kuo) owns his own label, I’m on the label DooRooDooRoo and I mainly focus on the creatives.
Eastern Standard Times: What were your first impressions of each other?
Kuo: Shy, but still brave. He does things. Just in a shy way.
OHHYUK: Very clever and talented, and very smart. When I first met him, I immediately realized he’s something really different, and he does his job very well.
Eastern Standard Times: Both group’s last releases were in 2020. Why did this feel like the right comeback project?
Kuo: It was really exciting. From the beginning, we didn't expect that we were going to do such a big project.
We just thought we were going to just make some music, maybe two songs, three songs, a small special EP. But slowly the ambitions started growing during the process.
OHHYUK: I remember from 2017 to 2018, suddenly there were so many collaborations happening. I wanted to collaborate with the other musicians, but I didn’t want to make just one single or one track, and when I asked him (Kuo) to make an album, he agreed. I think it’s a very interesting collaboration, and was something I was waiting for.
Eastern Standard Times: Did you feel nervous about releasing music again?
OHHYUK: Are you nervous?
Kuo: No, not really.
OHHYUK: Yeah, me too.
Eastern Standard Times: What are your memories of the first songwriting camp at Music Village 1939 in Gapyeong?
OHHYUK: Uh, the food was… bad.
Kuo: It's a small town. And I think we didn’t expect we were going to have really good food over there, but in the end, we found that we were eating the same food over and over again during the whole week. But I don't care about the food because we somehow still made really good music. So even though the food was bad, I think it was still worth it.
Eastern Standard Times: What is the process like creating music with ten different musicians? Did you approach every song in the same way?
Kuo: We created four songs in our jamming sessions in Gapyeong. And the other eight songs we created on the internet, file swapping. We also went to a friend's house, and he had tons of synthesizers set up, so OH and I just jammed over there and finished the arrangement of 'Antenna' (also listed as 'Aaaannnnteeeeennnaaaaaa'). I would say we had a lot of different approaches to making the album.
Eastern Standard Times: How did traveling to Seoul and Jeju Island influence the songwriting process?
Kuo: When we went to Jeju Island, the album was almost done actually. We somehow agreed to make one more song over there, but we still don't know what to do with it yet.
OHHYUK: The trip was actually a vacation. It was snowing, so we were stuck in the Airbnb, but there was a pool, and nobody was swimming. So we just used the pool as a reverb hole, and we were recording in the swimming pool and some other rooms. It was really fun.
Eastern Standard Times: What does ‘AAA’ mean to each of you?
OHHYUK: Something good.
Kuo: Something reliable, trustworthy. Your time is guaranteed.
Even though English is not our native language, somehow we still make music in English. We love the way we approached it and tried to build a space for all our written lyrics. We tried to describe a situation so it isn’t a narrative and everybody can project their own idea about the music or the album.
I think AAA has multiple meanings and everybody can put their own idea into it. That’s how we interact with people.
Eastern Standard Times: During an interview in 2020, Kuo talked about music being its own language that connects people. Why does this idea resonate so much with both of you?
OHHYUK: Because we are from different cultural backgrounds, even though I can speak Mandarin, we still have little differences. But music is really simple. If you play something, then you know whether it’s good or bad. I think this kind of approach makes everything easier.
Kuo: I think music is a language for sure. It‘s even built into our genes or animal instincts; when you hear something, you will get emotional feedback from it. So it's a certain kind of communication, subconsciously, I would say. So that's why I think everybody has this ability to communicate, even through music or frequencies.
And I think that that's why we have this bond to make music, I think our frequencies somehow match together.
Eastern Standard Times: How are Australian audiences different from other crowds?
Kuo: We’ve been to Australia before. And I think in Asia, our fans are usually more quiet, but every time we go to Western countries, especially Australia, people get more excited. Australia is kind of special because it's mixed with Western countries and Asian countries, but I can tell people get more excited.
I think people move their bodies with the music more. In Taiwan, people just sit there and it feels like they're judging us. They're happy inside, exploding inside, but the way they enjoy the show is by staring at us and judging us, and that’s how it is.
Eastern Standard Times: Where would you love to perform next?
Kuo: Antarctica. Play to some whales.
OHHYUK: Actually, India.
Kuo: Oh yes, he wants to go to India.
OHHYUK: I’ve never been, so I really want to have a show in India.
Eastern Standard Times: What’s something we don’t know about each of you?
Kuo: My and OH’s birthday is only one day different. Mine’s October 6th.
OHHYUK: And mine’s October 5th.

The Warmest Glow
Part 1
Pairing - Non idol Wooyoung x Y/N (Reader)
In the midst of agitated mind and heart, all Wooyoung yearned for was a moment of calm. His eyes, weary from resisting sleep, spoke of restless nights spent searching for serenity. Despite trying various distractions – burying himself in work, seeking comfort in the company of friends and colleagues – he found no pause. It was as though his mind had set standards only one person could meet.
Wooyoung had decided to take a breather from his jam-packed life, filled with five years of relentless civil work. He just wanted some downtime, maybe even a vacation. Where did he go? He made his way to the serene Hyeopjae beach, Jeju Island, hoping to unwind to the sound of crashing waves and feel the breeze on his face.
But, as fate would have it, the serenity he craved was nowhere in sight. The beach was buzzing with activity, umbrellas scattered across the sand, and the air alive with the chatter of tourists. Feeling disheartened but not ready to throw in the towel, he sought refuge in a nearby restaurant, craving not just food but also a break from the prying eyes of strangers.
Yet, even there, he couldn't dodge unwelcome attention. Amidst the clinking of dishes and din of diners, someone had the audacity to point out the small mark beneath his left eye and the mole on his lower lip, a mole he remembered, she always loved to kiss.
Returning to the beach once again he gazed to the horizon, where the sun was painting the sky in breathtaking hues. With his hands in his pockets, he allowed himself to bask in the warmth, reminiscing about a time when moments like these held a different meaning. Before he could retreat to his rented hotel room, his heart urged him to linger a while longer and soak in the orange glow.
But memories of the woman he loved kept flooding back, haunting him at every turn. Each passing moment served as a painful reminder of her, her voice resonating in his mind like a melancholic melody. "I love the sunset glow; it makes you look as sweet as honey." She used to say that to him while tracing her fingers across his face.
But perhaps fate had other plans, for soon enough, a jolt startled him as someone accidentally collided with his feet, leaving behind a small, damp spot. Opening his eyes, he noticed a big stain of blue on his pants near the knee, his expression darkening with a deep frown. Yet, as his gaze shifted, a wave of sensitivity washed over him, softening his features.
"Hey there, little one, where are you headed?" Wooyoung exclaimed as this young girl, maybe 4 or 5 years old, bumped into him, holding onto her ice cream cone for dear life. She seemed apologetic, her blue ice cream melting and smudging Wooyoung's pants with blueberry cream. With a teary-eyed look, she glanced up at him, and that was the last thing Wooyoung needed today.
"I'm sorry, mister, I didn't mean to mess up your pants," the girl said, her voice trembling with guilt.
"It's okay, I'm not upset. It's just a stain, it'll come off," Wooyoung reassured her, gently wiping away her tears with a kindness that came naturally to him. He had always been good with kids, tender and reassuring, capable of making any worry vanish with a single smile. "What's your name?" he asked, holding her tiny hands in his own.
"Grace," the little girl replied, her smile returning at his friendly demeanor.
"What a lovely name. Where are your parents?" Wooyoung inquired softly.
"I chased after the puppy," Grace explained, pointing to the little furry troublemaker nearby. "But he was too fast, and now I can't find my mom," she admitted, her eyes welling up with tears again.
"Don't worry, we'll find your mom," Wooyoung vowed, already determined to help them reunite.
"Grace," a voice called from behind Wooyoung. The girl's face lit up, and she shouted, "Mom!" waving her hands to her mother. As Wooyoung got up slowly to greet the woman, his smile faded, replaced by a rush of emotions he thought he had buried long ago. "How many times have I told you not to run away like that?" It was a voice engraved deep in his memory, the one he yearned to hear whenever he was alone—the voice of the woman he loved.
"Y/N," Wooyoung turned around and whispered her name as she approached, out of breath from her quick chase. Her eyes, mirroring his own, showed confusion, guilt, sadness, and hurt. Grace was Y/N's daughter—a discovery that stirred up a storm of emotions within Wooyoung, reminding him of a past he hadn't fully moved on from.
As Y/n rounded the corner, her heart skipped a beat at the sight of Wooyoung standing there, unexpected and unbidden. She greeted him tentatively, her expression a mix of surprise and uncertainty, even to herself. She hadn't anticipated crossing paths with him after 5 years, especially not while on the hunt for her daughter, and certainly not with her daughter in tow, holding onto his hand.
"Mamma, this handsome uncle is really nice," Grace bubbled with innocent enthusiasm, oblivious to the complexity of the situation. "I messed up his pants but he's not angry."
Y/n managed a nervous smile as Grace happily bounded over to her side, releasing Wooyoung's hand. She glanced at him, seeing the confusion in his eyes, and felt a pang of unease.
"Did you thank him?" Y/n gently prodded Grace, who shook her head before turning to Wooyoung with a cheerful shout of gratitude.
Wooyoung returned the smile, though his eyes betrayed a deeper turmoil. Despite his outward calm, he couldn't shake the sting of seeing Y/n with a child, a visible reminder of her life moving forward without him, probably with the person he dreaded. It was a bitter pill to swallow, especially considering he was the one who had initiated their breakup.
The memory of their parting flickered in his mind; a small misunderstanding that had snowballed into something larger. A mix of his own insecurities and infidelity. And yet, seeing her now, with a child in tow, stirred up a mix of conflicting emotions within him.
He couldn't deny the twinge of jealousy that gnawed at him, nor could he shake the regret that tinged his thoughts. All those years of loving her, only to realize too late that he had let her slip through his fingers.
In the quiet, Wooyoung broke the tension with a simple phrase: "It's been a while," he said, and y/n nodded in acknowledgment. Grace, observing the exchange, jumped in with curiosity, "You both know each other?"
Y/n hesitated for a moment before replying, "Uhm... he's a friend," giving Wooyoung a quick glance. His response, barely above a whisper, carried a hint of pain, "Friend... yeah."
Sensing the discomfort, y/n offered, pointing to the ice cream stain on Wooyoung's pants, "Uh... if you don't mind, I could wash those off or they'll stain bad, blueberry stains are wild, I must say." Despite his initial urge to refuse, Wooyoung found himself unable to resist when y/n added, "Please." He couldn't forget the weight of that word; it was the one thing he regretted not heeding when they parted ways.
"Sure," Wooyoung agreed, moving to stand beside y/n. As they walked, they engaged in small talk, learning snippets about each other's lives. Y/n revealed that she lived nearby in Jeju and now crafted children's storybooks, having ditched her previous gig in article writing—a job that always brought back memories of their past collaboration. But she left out that particular detail. Wooyoung told her that he lives in Seoul, and was promoted as general commissioner.
"We're here," y/n announced, marking a subtle yet significant milestone in their unexpected reunion. Grace dashed inside the moment Y/N unlocked the door, earning giggles from both Y/N and Wooyoung. "Slow down, Grace," Y/N called after her cheerful daughter.
"I really need to pee, Mama," Grace announced, making a beeline for the stairs to her room.
Wooyoung nervously slipped off his shoes and entered the house. It was a sleek, modern design, spacious enough to house ten people comfortably. The floors gleamed with white tiles, and large glass doors separated the interior from the outside veranda. With its contemporary decor and furnishings, Wooyoung couldn't help but marvel. "You can change in that room; I'll get you something to wear," Y/N offered, gesturing towards a door.
Wooyoung nodded and made his way to the room Y/N indicated. It resembled Y/N's room, with its neatly arranged shelves filled with books, purple curtains, and lavender sheets adorning the bed. It struck him as odd how well he still remembered Y/N's tastes, but the room seemed less lived-in. Perhaps it was Y/N and her husband's room. He thought he'd spot some pics of Y/N with her hubby around, but there wasn't a single photo frame in the room. Wooyoung mused, as he headed to the bathroom to discard his stained pants.
A while later, Y/N returned to the room with a set of clothes. She knocked gently, but there was no response. "I'm leaving the clothes on the bed," she announced, turning to leave. However, just as she was about to exit, the bathroom door swung open. Wooyoung, oblivious to Y/N's presence due to the running tap, emerged with a towel wrapped around his waist.
Y/N quickly averted her gaze and apologized, preparing to leave the room. But Wooyoung's next question stopped her in her tracks. "You still have this," he remarked, pointing at the clothing laid out on the bed. Y/N felt a nervous knot form in her stomach as she realized they were Wooyoung's clothes, a relic from their dating days. Wooyoung's surprise was evident; why would she still hold onto these, now that she was married with a child, he wondered.
“I didn’t get time to sort the clothes.” Y/N reasoned refusing to turn around completely, she saw Wooyoung discarding his stained pants on the ottoman that was near the bed.
“You didn’t get time in five years?” Wooyoung questioned.
“You should change.” Y/N quickly picked up the clothes from the ottoman still refusing to meet wooyoung’s gaze. “I’ll check on Grace.” She said and bolted out of the room. It’s been five years, after five years she met Wooyoung but the effect he had on her was still the same. He seemed a bit different though, a lot mature and quiet which was unusual of him. He was always giddy and clingy as far as she had known him.
Y/N tossed the stained pants into the washer and peeked in on Grace, who was swapping her regular clothes for comfy sleepwear. "Hey, baby, could you set the tables? I'll be right there," Y/N instructed, to which Grace nodded enthusiastically before darting off to the dining area. Y/N couldn't help but wonder how Grace would react to the situation unfolding.
"But seriously, why did I even invite him over?" Y/N muttered to herself, silently cursing the decision. With the washer set for a quick 15-minute cycle, Y/N stepped outside only to bump into Wooyoung, decked out in his old clothes. He still looked as fantastic as he did five years ago, maybe even more so, with those clothes fitting snugly over his now more muscular frame.
"Still fits, huh?" Y/N remarked nervously, feeling a bit self-conscious.
"Yeah, a bit snug, but I can manage," Wooyoung replied with a grin. Then, he shifted the conversation, asking about Grace's father and if he lived there. Y/N hesitated, avoiding eye contact, and before Wooyoung could finish, Grace's voice echoed from downstairs.
"Mama, tables are set!" Grace called out, saving Y/N from an awkward moment.
"Coming, sweetheart!" Y/N shouted back in relief, silently thanking Grace for the timely interruption. "Well, let's head in. Food's ready, and your clothes should be done soon," Y/N suggested, earning a nod of agreement from Wooyoung as they made their way to the dining area.
Y/N dashed into the kitchen and got to work warming up the food she'd whipped up earlier that morning. Wooyoung plopped down onto one of the dining chairs, and Grace settled in beside him, giving him the once-over with her eyes. Wooyoung caught on to the little girl's close examination and quipped, "What's up, kiddo? Do I look weird or something?" Grace just narrowed her eyes and shook her head. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Y/N gripped her fingers tightly, aware that something big was about to go down.
"It suits you perfectly," Grace declared. Y/N's heart raced as she listened in from the kitchen, her nerves going into overdrive.
"Yeah? You think so?" Wooyoung teased, tousling Grace's hair.
"Yep, it's my dad's clothes," Grace casually revealed.
And then it hit like a ton of bricks. Y/N knew she couldn't dodge this conversation any longer, especially not after Grace dropped that bombshell. She totally saw it coming when she handed him those clothes, she'd been hoarding for five years. Maybe she was just itching to have that chat with him.
With the food now warm and ready, she pulled it out of the oven, the only sound echoing in the kitchen being the click of the oven door. But why was there no chatter coming from the living room? Y/N didn't realize that Wooyoung was staring at Grace, his eyes and mouth wide open in shock at her revelation.
Y/N took a deep breath, grabbed the warm food, and strolled out of the kitchen into the living room, deliberately avoiding eye contact with both Grace and Wooyoung. Pasta in hand, she placed it on the table, then went on to divvy it up onto the three plates Grace had set out. Grace was in full chatter mode, boasting about her dad to Wooyoung: "My father's a cop," "He's always busy," "He lives in Seoul." Y/N sensed Wooyoung's gaze, but she kept her focus on the task at hand.
"What's he like, huh? Bet he's not as handsome as me," Wooyoung quipped. Y/N had finished serving and was now seated across from Grace, clutching her fork tightly as Wooyoung's words hit her. She didn't dare lift her eyes to meet his, sensing the invisible daggers being thrown her way.
"I dunno. I've never actually seen him. But mom talks about him all the time, though," Grace answered.
"Grace, eat up. Plenty of time to chat later," Y/N commanded sternly, still avoiding eye contact with either of them.
"So, Mom's always chatting about him, huh?" Wooyoung prodded, spearing his pasta with his fork. "Why isn't he here with you guys?"
"Mom says we had to leave, never said why? But she also mentioned..." Grace began, only to be cut off by Y/N's sharper tone.
"Grace, focus on your food first," Y/N said, her voice carrying a hint of frustration that startled the little girl into obedience
"Don't scold her," Wooyoung intervened.
"For now, Wooyoung, please! We can talk about it later," Y/N's voice cracked slightly as she lifted her head, her eyes welling up with tears. Wooyoung felt a twinge of pain but remained silent, clenching his jaw and diverting his gaze.
All three of them sat there, munching away in total silence. The only interruption was the gentle hum of the washer calling it quits after its 15-minute cycle. Grace, being the first to finish, plopped her plate by the sink, admitting defeat in her battle to reach it. She scampered back to the living room, snuggling up next to Wooyoung with a grin plastered on her face.
"You know, my birthday's coming up. I'll turn 5 next month," she chirped.
"Really? When's the big day?" Wooyoung's voice wavered a bit, and Y/N could sense his struggle to keep it together. She knew he was hurting, loaded with questions he wanted to hurl her way. All that, she knew when she invited him over. Maybe that's what she was gearing up for all along—to spill the beans about Grace being his daughter. But how sure was she? Not so much.
"It's on the 28th of October," she replied.
Wooyoung managed a smile through the turmoil inside him. He couldn't quite pinpoint which feeling was winning out. Was it sorrow for all those missed years not knowing he had a daughter? Or was it joy in finally discovering he had one? Questions swirled in his head; each one directed at Y/N. But how could he broach them? After all, he was the one who ended things, who pushed her away.
Right now, all he wanted was to offer a silent thank-you to whatever celestial being might be listening. Thankful for this moment with Y/N. Back when he craved nothing but peace, now all he craved was answers.
Y/N and Wooyoung finished their meals, wrapping up dinner together. After clearing the dishes, Y/N turned to Grace, coaxing her to head to bed, which she reluctantly agreed to after some playful resistance. Grace insisted she had just met Wooyoung who she called "Mr. Handsome" and was eager to chat or play with him. Meanwhile, Wooyoung settled comfortably on the couch.
As Y/N stood up, she mentioned casually, "I'll grab your clothes from the washer, they should be dry by now." Returning moments later with a carry bag, she placed it on the table. "Your laundry's all set," Y/N informed him, then added, "Want some coffee? I'm brewing a pot for myself."
"Yeah, sure," Wooyoung whispered, feeling a bit uncertain about how to kick off the conversation, but knowing he had to confirm what he suspected. Y/N slipped back into the kitchen to brew some coffee for the both of them. Time seemed to hang in the balance as they both grappled with their curiosity.
Wooyoung's restless leg bouncing up and down and Y/N's rhythmic tapping on the kitchen counter spoke volumes. Before long, the coffee was ready. Taking a deep breath, Y/N gathered both cups, bracing herself for Wooyoung's inquiries. The steam from the mugs mingled in the air, and Y/N silently thanked her lucky stars that Grace was sound asleep.
Y/N could sense Wooyoung's eagerness to speak by the way his leg continued its restless dance and his face flushed with anticipation. "You can ask anything, Wooyoung," she said, her tone gentle yet encouraging. Without hesitation, Wooyoung posed his first question.
"Is she...?" Wooyoung didn't finish the sentence, instead gesturing toward the door upstairs. Y/N understood what he meant, and with a small voice, she confirmed, "Yes, she's your daughter," nodding in affirmation.
A frustrated sigh escaped Wooyoung's lips, his mind swirling with countless questions. The foremost among them: why had Y/N kept this from him? Y/N knew that if she waited for Wooyoung to unravel this tangled web of inquiries, it would take days to clear things up.
"I didn't keep it from you, Woo," she said, using the nickname she used to call him. It was surprising for him to hear that nickname again after five years, but it warmed his heart, making him feel loved after all this time. Sure, he had gone on some blind dates, but nothing felt right, and he had been searching for Y/N all along.
"I found out when I was already three months into my pregnancy after we broke up," Y/N explained, leaning forward from her spot on the recliner beside the couch, resting her elbows on her knees. "I tried to reach out to you. I even tried to go to your place, but you had moved out and didn't want to have anything to do with me."
A sob escaped Wooyoung's lips as tears welled up in his eyes, listening to Y/N recounting the whole story. He felt even more remorseful because Y/N was speaking so casually about it.
"I really tried, Woo. Before I moved to Jeju, I really tried," Y/N confessed, lifting her gaze to meet Wooyoung's glossy eyes, which mirrored her own tears.
"You're still calling me Woo!" Wooyoung chuckled sadly, memories of why he and Y/N broke up flooding back. He had thought she didn't love him anymore, that she was just with him for his power because he was a top-notch cop in Incheon. Everyone around him kept feeding him that idea, saying a catch like Y/N would only be interested in his status.
And then there were those damn rumors about Y/N and Mingi, another cop from their branch, supposedly being together. It all made him feel so insecure, pushing him to become overly possessive and toxic, eventually leading to their split.
"You'll always be my Woo," Y/N whispered, her voice trembling with emotion, trying to hold back her tears.
"Why? You should be furious with me, punish me, yell at me, leave me." Wooyoung started to ramble, his emotions spilling out. "No, wait, be mad, slap me if you have to, but please, don't leave me again. And don't take Grace away from me. I want to be a part of your life, her life." His voice cracked as tears streamed down his face, dropping to his knees in front of Y/N, clutching her hands in desperation.
"I would never do that, Wooyoung. Grace is your daughter, you have every right to be in her life," Y/N said calmly, gently helping him back up onto the couch. "But we’ll take it slow okay.” Wooyoung nodded.
“It's late now. You should head back to your hotel. We'll talk more later." Wooyoung opened his mouth to protest, but Y/N cut him off gently. "And you can see her tomorrow, alright? I'm saving your number and mine in each other's phones. Just relax."
Wooyoung finally had what he needed to head back to his rented place with some peace of mind: Y/N's contact number. He was eagerly awaiting the night to come to an end. Now that he had found Y/N and discovered he had a daughter, all he could think about was being with them. He found himself shedding tears, cursing his luck for missing out on those precious five years.
He should've been there with Y/N and his daughter. He missed Grace's birth, her first step, her first word. He wasn't there to witness Y/N's pregnancy, to see her with that big baby bump. He wasn't there to support her through the toughest times, and the guilt weighed heavily on him. What made it worse was that Y/N seemed so calm about it all. She didn't show any anger or disgust. But why? That question kept swirling in his mind as he drifted off to sleep, pondering possible answers.
