Okay, so I was reading a fic and one sentence was like 'they'd only known each other for a few days.' And like this was after Kansas City so I was like there's no way.

And so I did the calculations, from Boston to Bill's general location it would have taken them at least 5 hours. But because they slept twice their's two days, and obviously Joel's said five hours.

Than I calculated how long it would take to drive to Kansas City from Bill's general location and it's about 21 hours straight across, but they mention having to refill the gas thing every hour. So unless they had multiple gas container things (idk the name of them) then they'd probably be 17 days to get their.

But we only see them sleep once before they get to Kansas City and by the end of episode five adding the two sleeps while in Kansas City they've known each other a week.

Than I calculated how long it would take to walk to Cody, Wyoming and it's 13.5 days not counting sleeps.

But if they go off the games they might be in Jackson or somewhere near there. Which why are there so many Jacksons in the us. But than I was like duh Wyoming.

So walking to Jackson Wyoming is 14 days.

So it's more likely they're in Cody, Wyoming.

Which means when they find Tommy the next episode they'd known each other for at least 20 days.

But also that makes no sense because if they follow the game timeline it's summer when they start, probably mid summer or near the end idk. And when they get to Tommy it's fall.

So what the actual fuck is the timeline and how long have they known each other?

Actually you know what? I know nothing about the Terrifics, but Spoiler, Fairplay, and Quiz Kid is a hilarious set of monikers to put in a single group. If they don't get at least one arc that's just them clowning on Clue Master all their potential will have been wasted.

Ryan Adamczeski at The Advocate:

A Christian lifeguard is suing the city of Los Angeles for "severe emotional distress" after he was stationed near a Pride flag last year. Jeffery Little, who has worked for the city for 22 years, filed a lawsuit on Friday claiming he is being discriminated against for his evangelical faith by being made to stand in the same vicinity as the Progress Pride flag. Little alleges he was suspended from his role with the department’s background investigation unit last year after he took down three LGBTQ+ flags during Pride month. The Los Angeles county board of supervisors voted last year to require the rainbow banner be flown during the month of June at government buildings, which includes lifeguard stands. Little, who claimed the flags present a “direct conflict” with his religious beliefs, fought to be placed at stations that would not fly the flag, as they did not have the right flag poles to fly any banner.

Little arrived to his station at Dockweiler Beach on June 21, 2023 and found three nearby facilities displaying the flag, ordered by the lifeguard division's chief, according to the complaint. After he removed them, Little said he was given a "direct order" from the chief to ensure the flag was displayed throughout the month.

Little is accusing the department of “religious discrimination” and “retaliation," alleging that officials did not “substantively engage" with his objections and instead threatened "discipline and eventual termination for failure to raise the Progress Pride flag.” He is asking for damages based on "severe emotional distress" and a “standing exemption” from raising the flag. The lifeguard seemed particularly triggered by the turquoise and pink stripes on the original Pride flag designed by Gilbert Baker, which represent magic and sex, respectively. Those two stripes are, notably, not on the Progress Pride flag, the subject of Little's suit. Still, Little claimed that queer identity goes against the "purpose of the human person."

Evangelical Christian lifeguard Jeffrey Little got triggered by a Progress Pride Flag while being a lifeguard on at Will Rogers State Beach near LA. Cry me a river and boo freakin' hoo! Little is suing the city of Los Angeles, California as a result.🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

I'm so excited to be able to start writing the first chapter and I hope that you look forward to it! Be sure to add this book to your reading list or reblog to know when I update!

MOST IMPORTANT NOTE ; ( to those not familiar with the academy series by C.L. Stone )

I know I'm gaining more readers, those who aren't familiar with the academy, so I'll do a short explanation of what you'll be seeing from the academy!

In short, the academy series is a reverse harem/polyamory series set in Charleston, South Carolina.

( so you'll be seeing multiple men date the same women in this book, so don't be shocked lmfaoo )

The academy ( that MFC won't be much involved in ) is basically a top secret organization that specializes in helping men, women, and children who are in an abusive relationship or homes and help them get out of that — most join the academy to help others in the same situations.

There are teams that work together and are basically a family in all but blood; and "family is a choice".

The men in teams are referred to as "dogs" and the female team members are referred to as "birds". 'Ghosts', whether birds or dogs, are children without much history to their names. They are priceless to the Academy.

The Academy's system works on a series of favor and financial debt. Everyone in the Academy starts out with financial debt. It's the value of the education an Academy student requires to become the best at what he does. If it was a private investigation training class or an eight-week boot camp, or you were starving and needed groceries to get through a human biology class, the Academy took care of it. Your debt can't just be paid off directly, it requires completing various Academy missions. Whatever it is, there is a price tag.

Favors though are the real core of the Academy. Favors are anything that doesn't have a price - usually family problems within the Academy that other members can't handle alone. New members owe ten favors immediately, with the maximum owed being thirty. The value of a task in favors varies depending on the task.

All Academy trials are comprised of the same parties: the whole team, plus five randomly selected members from other teams, presided over by a manager who has collected all the data. There is no age minimum for the randomly selected members, the only requirement is that they had to be past initiation and a full member of the Academy. The ultimate goal at a trial is to keep the family together as much as possible.

Each team has two leads. The first is the main contact for the Academy, they track the jobs the members go on, and let them know what jobs are available. The second is the family lead, who keeps track of all the team members, and makes sure that everything runs smoothly for them - ensuring they have food, bills are paid on time, and everyone that needs a job has one.

Most of this information is from the academy wiki site ( 'cause it's fuckin' complicated to explain it all )

but I want you all to be able to understand it enough to enjoy the story without being confused!

Most of the time, I'll explain through River and my other characters.

I hope this makes sense!

River won't be very involved in the academy, but there will be mentions and most of River's story revolves around, not only Jungkook and Moon, but River's brothers, friends, and family!

Please let me know if there is anything that you'll misunderstand and I'll explain to the best of my ability!

A sneak peek at My Dear Watson

Mary was pale. Too pale.

Her eyes looked to hold deep bruises beneath their sockets as the nurse plastered her blomde hair back, trying to keep Mary’s face free.

“We’ve ‘ad people wake up before,” she told Holmes, “when they’re passed out like this. Sometimes they get sick when they realize the cause. One man lost his entire arm to gangrene, and he didn’t stop screaming til we pulled up to the ‘ospital.”

“Lovely.” Holmes said. “Where’s the doctor?”

“Right here.” The man entered the room, chart in hand. “Hello, Holmes.”

“Jefferies..” came Homes’ stiff response. Jefferies had always been fiercely competitive, boasting to any who would listen how he had more clients than John Watson ever had. Holmes may hold a grudge for his old friend’s sake, but he certainly knew enough to be civil with Mary’s life on the line. “Your prognosis?”

“The bullet tore through her abdomen, narrowly missing any organs. It split into shards during surgery, but luckily we were able to remove all the pieces. She may have some bruising from the bleeding, but once her stitches come out, she’ll be right as rain.”

Holmes stood, relief visible on his face, just for a moment. “Thank you,” he mustered. Jefferies shot him a smile, which, on any other day, would serve only to irritate Holmes. Holmes picked up her limp hand, squeezing it lightly.

“I understand she’ll be staying with you until she recovers?”

“Yes. It’ll be far easier for her to take up John’s old room at Baker Street than it would be for me to temporarily move my practice to the outskirts of London.” Holmes said, never taking his eyes off of her as her chest rose and fell.

“Well then, here’s another bit of good news for you. And, Holmes, you may want to sit down for this one.” Jefferies said, never losing that cat got the canary grin of his. “Congratulations. It’s a boy.”

“I’m sorry, what?” The two men turned, facing the only other person in the room who could’ve spoken. Mary blinked, exhausted, and asked again, “could you repeat that.”

“Well,” Jefferies stammered, seemingly caught off guard by the fact that she was awake already. “We think it’s a boy that is. It could be a girl. There’s no accounting for sex yet but based on the number of boys running around the Holmes’ family tree—“

“My husband was John Watson.” Mary said coldly. “A decorated veteran and a much better doctor than you will ever be.”

“If you know what’s good for you, Jefferies, I’d vacate the premises and not make the lady any more upset.” Holmes cautioned, glee lighting his face as Jefferies turned tail and ran. Mary laid back tiredly. “Is it true?”

“Is what true?”

“Are you pregnant?”

“Can’t you tell? With your ‘deductive reasoning?’l Mary bit out. Holmes sighed.

“You know that’s not how it works, Mrs. Watson.” He said quietly. “You have been pale and withdrawn as of late, but you’re also mourning a loved one. Willful ignorance, I suppose. We both miss John, and would like nothing more than for him to be back. It is only natural to hold on to any piece of him we could.”

Mary was quiet. She placed a hand on her stomach, wincing. “It’s true.” She said. “The morning sickness started just after John died. At first, I thought it was just nerves, you know? But then it happened more and more. No matter what I ate, whether I ate, I couldn’t keep anything down.”

“You’re three months along?” Holmes realized.

“Amazing what a large skirt will cover.” Mary said. She closed her eyes. Quietly, Holmes shut the door

Serial Killer's I find interesting :)

 Joseph DeAngelo Jr. 

“The Golden state killer” he is a past police man, who engaged in at least three crime sprees from the mid-1970’s through the mid-1980’s. In 2020 Joseph pleaded guilty for 13 counts of first-degree murder as well as 13 counts of kidnapping to avoid The death penalty. He later received multiple life sentences without the possibility of parole. DeAngelo later offered an apology, saying, “I’ve listened to all your statements, each one of them, and i'm truly sorry to everyone I have hurt”. 

Angel Maturino Resendiz 

“The Railroad killer” He killed at least 15 people across the U.S. and Mexico in the 1990’s. He would jump off trains and kill people in nearby homes, attacking with a knife, Pick Axe, rocks, and other blunt objects. He would often steal their belongings and sometimes rape his female victoms.  

Randy Steven Kraft 

“Scorecard killer” He drugged, raped, tortured, and murdered at least 16 young men between 1972 and 1983. Most of his crimes were in california. Kraft’s nickname came from the fact that he left cryptic lists of his victims. Investigators believed, based on this list and other evidence, that Kraft killed 67 men, but was only convicted of 16 murders. He is on death row.

They spread terror throughout San Francisco for 179 days. 

Robert Hansen

“The Butcher Baker” Robert Handsen would kidnap prostitutes and release them into the Alaskan woods to hunt them. His nickname came from the fact that he owned a bakery, and was unsuspected of any crime for his hospitality and kindness. He admitted to 17 murders which took place between 1971 and 1983. He died in prison in 2014. 

Jeffery Dahmer 

“The Milwaukee Cannibal” Dahmer Murdered, raped and dismembered men and boys between 1978 and 1991. His later killings often included acts of Necrophilia and Cannibalism. He kept body parts of some of his victims in his Milwaukee apartment. Dahmer was sentenced to life in prison, where he was beaten to death by a fellow inmate in 1994.  

Randall Woodfield

“The 1-5 killer” Randall Woodfield was connected to 18 murders in Washington, Oregon, and Californian between 1979 and 1981, and may have had as many as 44 victims. He was known to sexually assault his female victims. He is serving life in prison at the Oregon State Penitentiary in Salem. 

Patrick Kearney

“The Freeway killer” He had pleaded guilty to 21 murders committed in the 1970’s. He admitted to seven more. He is serving life in prison. His pattern was to pick up young male hitchhikers or young men from gay bars and shoot them. Often sexually assaulting their body’s.   

Ted Bundy 

Ted Bundy was executed in Florida in 1989 and was linked to a string of murders of young women in several states during the 1970s. He confessed to 35 murders before his execution. He would often win over women with his good looks before attacking them. Decades later his vicious crime spree continues to grip the public imagination, inspireding multiple TV and Film treatments. 

John Wayne Gacy Jr. 

“The killer Clown'' John Wayne Gacy jr. was convicted of 33 murders and was executed in 1994. Gacy, who sometimes performed as a clown, sexually assaulted and usually asphyxiated teenage boys and young men in the 1970s in illinois. He buried many of his victims in the crawl space of his Chicago-area home.   

Donald Harvey

“The angel of Death” This former nurse's aide received multiple life sentences after admitting in 1987 to killing three dozen hospital patients in Ohio and Kentucky during the 1970’s and ‘80s. In 2017 a fellow inmate, James Elliot, would be charged in the fatal beating of Harvey. 

Gary Ridgeway 

“The Green River killer” Gary Ridgeway was sentenced to life in prison in 2003 after he admitted to killing 49 women in the 1980’s and 1990’s. He terrorized Seattle, killing mostly prostitutes by strangling them. He would dispose of their body’s in dump sites and along the Green river, sometimes returning to have sex with their corpses. Nearly 20 years past before DNA evidence linked him to his crimes. He was arrested in 2001.
