The use of AI is very intriguing these days. They continue to create new trends that go viral across social media. In this new app EPIK has brought us this new yearbook generator that creates AI images of yourself making you look like you are back in high school. EPIK is taking over the internet, including your favorite celebrities, by storm. 

When consumers open the app, they can upload selfies of themselves while the app generates their photos. This will make consumers want to check their phones constantly since the images take a while to process. Also, they want to share it with friends immediately. It is like when you buy a new toy then you play with it for a few days then something else is on the market. Same with an app, it comes and goes.   

Many celebrities and influencers like beauty guru Bretman Rock, actress Keke Palmer, YouTuber Hila Klein and Twitch streamer Pokimane are using the app to create ‘90s-inspired school photos.  

TikTok has caught users' attention for several reasons, reflecting the platform’s purpose which is creating, sharing original shorts, and engaging content. 

TikTok users, primarily comprised of younger generations, have an interest in nostalgia. The Yearbook AI trend taps into this sentiment by offering a modern take on the classic yearbook experience.
