julia jeanne montgomery, often goes by jules, was born in vancouver, canada and raised in san francisco, california. she’d returned to vancouver for the first time since she was barely one year old and has been here for 8 months. she is currently teaching at the local kindergarten school.

she is the youngest child out of three children, with two older siblings (possible connections, y’all), both of whom she has an incredibly close relationship with.

but with her parents? well not so much, at least not with her father. he was once a legendary canadian ice hockey player who turned into an alcoholic post retirement. shortly after her birth, her parents had a big fight that led to their separation, and her mother had decided to bring all her children back to her home country.

she wasn’t old enough to understand the divorce when it’d happened, but she’d grown up watching her mother struggle to raise three children all by herself, teaching at a public school and making just barely enough money to make ends meet.

so she’d spent 20 something years of her life avoiding the conversation topic about her father, and even going so far as to pretend he doesn’t exist on some occasions. —and it was not until a year ago that he’d finally reached out to her and her siblings, claiming he’s changed and  ready to be a part of the family again.

naturally, she’d ignored his attempt to reconnect at first, feeling that what he’d done and didn’t do was too much for it to be forgotten overnight. (she hold grudges like nobody else ok, this girl istg.)

much to her surprise (and dismay), the rest of the family are actually open to the idea of letting him in again. and because jules is the baby of the family and got to spend time with her father the least, they’ve encouraged her to talk to him more and more, and eventually got her to agree to moving to vancouver in attempt for them to reconcile.

jules is usually affable, quick to laugh, easy to smile. she’s generally good natured and enjoys a good conversation between friends. however, she is considerably quick to judge and will stand strongly by her opinion even though she might be proven wrong.

kasumi

k- the opposite of kisumi, her smile is wide and nervous and she keeps giving shaky laughs. somehow shes even more off looking than usual

a- i dont think she had conventional schooling but likely music? a lot of kasumi’s personality is an inferiority complex about not being a good enough musician/having others think of her only for music

s- well she’s not the most stealthy, but as a troubadour (esp when equipped w healing items that work at a distance) she can be stealthy by not being in the way?

u- a bit stronger voiced than kisumi, she’s hesitant to speak but when she does it’s reserved, almost hesitant in tone, but not shaky.

m- she’s developed a taste for not the super sweet things, but enjoys mild desserts. maybe something like sweet bun/taiyaki or a lighter western cake.

i- the most self hatred this poor bean. she could potentially start to be more self loving w the right supports but at least at the start is maybe a 3/10 as far as self love.

kisumi

k- her flirty/cheerful attitude is gone, she’s not even pouting. theres no emotion in her voice and she wont make eye contact.

i- its weird, kisumi has enough confidence to be flirty and outgoing, but at the same time is hardly self obsessed? she has standards which is why she can be mean, but she does put others first a lot of the time, helping others makes her feel better

s- she can be, less through hiding and more through blending in.

u- her voice is light and delicate sounding, in a sort of gentle way, but is tinged with a sassy side and she does not hold back on the snarkiness or pervy jokes

m- anything suggestively shaped and sweet that she can eat w her cute datefriends

o- hurting her friends (even the ones she doesnt like) would leave this cinnamon roll bby a mess. i feel like shed be arbitrarily hurt if she was betrayed by someone she cared about, but she wouldnt hate them or evenhold any guilting over them

t- i feel like the only one to find this out would be cro, shes super obvious about it so he knows, but she finds where hes ticklish and they call it a draw

r- shes probably got the violin fingers, maybe cro or one of the nice girls takes her to get nails done fancy for shows

o- any of the loids being nice to her just watch her fall apart. with both guilt and not being used to nice people.

t- idk maybe sides? u know the pink gremlin would be merciless. the two of them just messing around would be something to see

m- nipple donuts jk but u know she makes everyone food. maybe she learns how to make the jet black harmony dessert gyoza? idk

e- tries to be good w them, oh my gosh does she try. when she gets out the violin all the kids are super at ease and she is too.

h- id say overworking herself/self doubt/trust issues, idk what it would fall into

e- like otome, does she try. but surprise surprise none of her datefriends are as good w kids as the composer moms or dads of loid. maybe if she asks nicely motes or jeanne disk might help out?

n- she eats a simple breakfast, kind of sparse but ok and somewhat filling. maybe the disk ghosts try to get her to eat better? if she ever ends up having to take care of one of the datefriends she eats better

s- kind of? itd probably be better w a disk equipped (id suggest okita or don) but she doesnt stand out much usually

i- i dont really know ? probably a medium amount? definitely more than kasumi but less than kisumi. maybe by the end the same amount as kisumi.

s- shes ok with it? not super good not super bad

p- wisely, shes gotta.

a- i feel like shed be good at management? like not so much any class in particular? but like all the presentations and that sorta stuff.

c- not conventionally but kind of?

e- shes actually ok. the most capable out of the four of em. despite being quiet and distant when kids talk to her shes chill w them.
