Lucky, I got home early today just in time to give my opinion on this weeks previews

I will say, i don't got much to say about these previews (except for 2 maps), so i might make this post short

So lets get started

JD 2025 Previews: Week 5

Was it confirmed this song was Paint The Town Red by Doja Cat? I'm bad at lip reading so idk

The choreography seems fun, i like the energy Spike gives in both the extreme and normal

I will admit, i found the way this coach looked like at first (since i'm used to seeing normal white coaches), but this style is starting to grow on me

I love Spike already (big fan of her heart shaped hair), she might even be related to Luke Cypher 👀 (siblings perhaps?)

Second favorite preview of this week (yall gonna see my favorite preview soon), can't wait to see this map fully!

Are these the BOOMBAYAH coaches? I really can't tell

These coaches seem cool (idk how to feel about the last coach's costume)

I honestly thought this was an extreme, but no, i mean, the choreography seems good, i'm a bit more of a casual player so i think i can enjoy this dance

I like this coach! His outfit is kinda a bit simple and so is the background, but it's not bad! (Edit: bro i just realized his shirt says Dancity, damn i'm kinda blind-)

Choreography seems kinda hard for me, but hopefully i'll get the hang of it once this map comes out

I knew my prediction of this map being Drive by Bang Chan & Lee Know or My Pace by Stray Kids wasn't gonna be true-

But its another Little Mix song lets go!

I'll be real, not a huge fan when it comes to blue & yellow outfits (it just kinda looks ugly sometimes) but this coach pulls it off great!

Choreography seems fun! But i'm guessing this song will get an extreme (idk why but it just seems like this map could get an extreme)

Someone pointed out that he kinda has that dark aura around him like Night Swan does (maybe another person working for Night Swan👀)

And the feathers adds to this theory (if theres feathers, then Night Swan was there)

Bro just came out today and i'm already gonna make headcanons between him & Night Swan (and maybe his relationship with Cygnus👀)

Kaakk, boleh ngga sih kagum sama actor korea yg kalo diliat² perjuangan mereka utk sampe di titik "dikenal buanyak orang" itu hebat banget :') dari main film/drama yg ga dikenal, sampe skrg bersinar. padahal masih pd muda-muda atau bahkan seumuran :(

trus jd refleksi introspeksi udah ngapain aja selama ini u.u

boleh aja sih :D

aktor yang pertama saya suka banget tuh Park Seo Joon. Bukan karena dia cakep tapi karena di tiap drama, dia beneran bisa berubah jadi orang lain. Skill aktingnya bagus banget. Tapi makin kesini, saya nemu makin banyak aktor/actrees korea yang bagus banget.

Jo Jung Suk, Park Bo Young, Park So Dam, Jeon Mi Do, Kim Go Eun, Yoo Yeon Seok, Kim Seon Ho, Nam Joo Hyuk, Lee Sung Kyung, Shin Hye Sun, dan terakhir yang saya lihat kemarin tuh Lee Do Hyun di 18 Again. Saya pertama kali lihat Do Hyun tuh di Still 17. Dia jadi temennya figuran wkwk. Nah pas jadi lead, ternyata bagus. Pun Yeo Jin Go di Start Up kemarin, dia jadi figuran juga tetep bagus banget.

Saya suka sama orang-orang yang cinta banget sama kerjaannya sampe berusaha keras buat ngasih yang terbaik. Alih-alih bikin saya insecure dan nanya kapan sukesnya, saya malah ngerasain vibe positif mereka.

Pas Kim Seon-Ho sama Jeon Mi-Do terkenal, saya juga happy. Mi-Do eonni mulai debut di drama di usia mendekati 40. Udah kayak nggak mungkin banget umur segitu baru debut. Tapi beliau nunjukin kualitas akting yang bagus banget. Saya kalo nonton Song-Hwa jadi ikutan seneng.

Kim Seon-Ho juga. Sebelum nonton Start Up, Kim Seon-Ho itu pelawak buat saya hha. Soalnya di 2 Days 1 Night, Two Cops sama Waikiki 2 emang lawak. Pas lihat dia akting nangis sambil meluk halmeoni, sama pas dia gugup bilang suka sama Dal-Mi, saya ngerasa happy aja lihat aktingnya dia.

Ada lagi Nam Joo Hyuk. Dia tuh backgroundnya model. Di Indonesia, aktris/aktor yang berangkat dari model tuh suka kaku banget pas main di awal. Nam Joo Hyuk di Cheese In The Trap (padahal dia figuran) udah bagus mainnya. Di Kim Bok Joo natural banget. Di Dazzling, dia bikin saya nangis saking bagusnya wkwkwk.

Nggak papa kagum sama orang-orang yang profesional dan menyimak perjalanannya. Tapi kamu jangan keterusan nonton drama sampe lupa waktu.

I'm not sure. It's complicated and it depends of each member's personality.

Honestly when jm or ji call their fans their only girlfriends I don't find them that insincere for 2 reasons:

1. they're gay. It's their fans' fault if they're in denial and refuse to face the obvious.

2. I think jm & ji genuinely value their fans.

Off course they can't really 'love' them since they don't know them. But they're aware that fans are precious because they play a crucial role in their success. I see their fanservice as a way of showing their gratitude for supporting them.

Personally I do find those fanservice cringy and I don't feel the need to be acknowledged by my bias. Just being able to admire them from afar is more than enough for me.

I don't remember ksoo or sh referring to their fans as their girlfriends because it's not their style but I'm not sure.

But I find it wrong for the straight members (i.e. everyone except jm, ksoo & ji) to imply that their fans are their girlfriends.

클라인-레빈증후군 개요 클라인-레빈 증후군(Kleine-Levin syndrome, KLS)은 매우 드물게 보고되는 질환으로 과다한 수면, 과도한 음식 섭취 및 행동이상 등을 보이는 질환이다. 수면 도중에는 식사 및 용변을 위해서만 스스로 잠에서 깨어나는 것 이외에는 하루에 18-20시간 정도의 수면을 취한다. 증상은 수일에서 수주까지 지속되며, 이런 삽화는 1년에 1회에서 10회까지 반복적으로 재발할 수 있다. 보통 10대의 남성에서 호발하고, 남녀의 유병률은 3:1 정도이다. 현재까지 전세계적으로 약 500 예 정도의 사례가 보고되어 있다. 증상 ●일차성 클라인-레빈 증후군은 남성에서 약 68%정도로 호발하며, 평균 발병 연령은 약 15세로 보고되고 있다. 한 번의 삽화는 평균 10일정도 지속되며, 보통 약 8년 동안 삽화가 반복적으로 나타난다. 이차성 클라인-레빈증후군은 일차성보다 고령에서 발생하며, 더 잦은 빈도와 긴 기간의 삽화가 발생한다. 국제수면질환분류(International Classification of Sleep Disorders, 2nd edition)에 의하면 클라인-레빈 증후군은 반복성 과다수면증의 일종이다. 반복성 과다수면증의 진단기준은다음과 같다.●반복성 과다수면증(recurrent hypersomnia)1. 환자는 2일에서 4주 동안 지속되는 수면 과다증의 반복적 삽화들을 경험 2. 삽화들은 1년에 최소 한번 재발 3. 삽화들 사이에는 정상적인 의식, 인지기능 및 행동을 보임 4. 수면과다증을 더 합당하게 설명할 수 있는 다른 수면장애, 내과적 및 신경과적 질환, 의식 장애, 약물 복용 등이 없음이외에도 과다수면증과 동반되는 증상으로는 인지장애(96%), 섭식장애(80%), 우울감(48%), 과다성욕증(43%), 환시 등의 환각, 공격적 행동, 초조증 등이 있다. 원인 병의 원인 및 병태 생리에 대해서는 명확히 확립되지는 않았지만, 부검 결과 시상하부, 측두엽 및 시상, 중뇌, 간뇌 등���서 혈관 주위 림프구의 침윤이 관찰되었다는 보고가 있으며, 최근 뇌척수액검사에서 Hypocretin-1의 수치감소와의 연관성에 대한 많은 연구결과들이 보고되고 있다. 또한 HLA-DQB1*02의 발현빈도가 증가된다는 결과들이 있어 자가 면역질환과의 연관성도 가능성이 보고되고 있다. 임상 증상들이 시상하부의 기능 손상 시 보이는 증상들과 많은 유사성을 보이고 있으며, 단일광자방출 컴퓨터 단층촬영술(single photon emission computed tomography, SPECT)에서 시상하부의 관류 감소가 관찰된다는 보고가 그 가능성을 뒷받침 해주고 있다. 진단 반복성 과다수면증 환자 중 환시 등의 환각, 공격적 행동, 초조증, 과식증 또는 과다 성욕증이 함께 나타나는 경우 진단할 수 있다.선행인자로는 대부분 상기도 감염과 같은 사소한 감염이 대부분을 차지하고, 과음이나 마리화나 남용, 두부 손상 및 마취 등이 있으며, 여성의 경우 수유나 생리가 선행인자로 작용할 수 있다. 임상 경과는 삽화가 반복될수록삽화의 기간(duration)과 강도(severity) 및 빈도(frequency)가 감소되어대체로 예후는 양호하다.산정특례 진단기준 : 이 질환은 산정특례 대상질환이 아닙니다. 치료 현재까지 표준적인 치료방침은 없으며 치료 경험에 대한산발적인 보고만 있을 뿐이다. 또한 과수면 삽화 자체는 나이가 들수록 그 빈도와정도가 대부분 저절로 호전되는 경향을 보이는 것으로 알려져 있다. 하지만 일상생활에 장애를 보이므로 환자에게 Amphetamine, Methylphenidate 등의 중추신경자극제나 Lithium, 선택적 세로토닌 재흡수차단제(Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor, SSRI) 등이 치료제로 고려될 수 있다. JD 2025 Previews: Week 6

I will be honest, this is the only troll song I will accept

Because this map actually looks fun to dance too

Hearing this song so around Tiktok, I was kinda expecting to see it get into the game, and I was right

The choreography isn't too hard, and the background looks silly and fun (if i'm correct, i'm pretty sure some well known animator worked on this? I think? I could be wrong)

I don't got much to say, but I perfer this troll map then...whatever that fuck they did on that Shakira alt...

Costume of this coach? Stunning (she kinda reminded me of Phoenix, mainly the all the good girls go to hell costume)

Choreography seems different, but I'm not complaining

The camera angle looks cool, could be a bit difficult to dqnce to, but that's okay

I guess the only negative thing I have to say for this map is the background, fir me it's just a bit too simple

Summary Esports (electronic sports) is competitive video gaming. People from all over the world compete against each other in organised competitions either online or at spectator tournaments at indoor arenas. The winner (either individual or as a team) receives a cash prize (Jenkins, Hattenstone, Vega Borrego, Tyson Short & Khalili 2017). Esports are a growing phenomenon, with tournaments held globally the innovative gaming experience is growing and continuing to grow at a rapid pace.

Impact Some traditional sports have taken decades to develop but the demand for an organised online gaming competition was so extensive that it has only taken a few short years to boom.

To highlight the significant boom the image below outlines the substantial growth seen in eSports, with in excess of 550 million people viewing online gaming via YouTube Gaming and Twitch than that of other popular entertainment platforms.

Opportunities Esports offer a way for many organisations especially sporting organisations to reach a demographic that has become increasingly harder to engage - Generation Z, with their short attention spans and willingness to go against social norms, eSports has created a pathway for traditional sports to engage their young fans.

The NBA 2K League allowed the traditional teams to finance an eSports team where franchises establish revenue sharing among games, events, merchandising, and players, as well as minimum pay, benefits, and training facilities. This also established the ‘fad’ of eSports transition into becoming a fully-fledged industry (Arkenberg, Van Dyke, Tengberg & Baltuskonis 2018).

As more organisation turn to eSports for opportunities, media and event promoters have the ability to offer subscriptions to attend the event, stream it and have access to the teams it also enables the organisations to offer VIP hospitality and experiences (Arkenberg, Van Dyke, Tengberg & Baltuskonis 2018).

As the eSports landscape continues to change, organisations in media, entertainment and the traditional sports have an opportunity to access a somewhat unattainable global audience, a greater advertisement and sponsorship potential and the chance to grow their organisation in the modern media environment by highlighting their passion for the sport and competitive gaming (Arkenberg, Van Dyke, Tengberg & Baltuskonis 2018).

Not to mention the opportunities created for the athletes themselves; prize money on offer, recognition within their favourite sport as a gamer athlete, sponsorships amongst many more. For example, the Melbourne eSports Open festival this year saw the renowned team, Fnatic pocket $20k (Amos 2019).

Challenges Like many sports eSports are now facing challenges such as cheating, player exploitation, addiction and performance enhancing drugs (Paradise 2018). Additionally, considering how dependant eSports is on technology it is open to cyber attacks and scams and involves ever-changing technology as new games, software and hardware advance, stadia infrastructure will also need to advance (Jenny, Keiper, Taylor, Williams, Gawrysiak, Manning & Tutka 2018).

There are concerns that eSports have plateaued and questions arising include how it is going to monetise and continue to grow. Additionally, there are concerns from media organisations aligning themselves with violent nature of some of the video games.

Current Issues Some say the birthplace of eSports is Seoul, South Korea, millions of people play competitive video games and is the countries most beloved game. Loved so much to an extent that many gaming addictions occurred. At the National Centre for Mental Health in Seoul, Dr Lee Tae-kyung is in charge of the addiction department at the government-run psychiatric hospital and was a major influence in the ‘Cinderella Law’ which was introduced to prohibit minors under the age of 16 from playing video games between midnight and 6am (Hattenstone 2017).

Exclusive: Toyota plans to roll into China

BEIJING (Reuters) – Toyota Motor Corp (7203.T) is taking an unprecedented route to meet China’s stringent green car quotas: its showrooms will sell an electric vehicle without the Japanese company’s distinctive triple-oval logo.

Instead, it will feature the label of GAC Motor (601238.SS), Toyota’s Chinese partner, and will be built around GAC’s lower-cost technology.

The move – a first for Toyota – will give GAC access to the Japanese carmaker’s stringent quality control, prestige and sales channel. For Toyota, it presents a quick way to meet Beijing’s requirements that such vehicles represent 10 percent of an auto manufacturer’s production by 2019.

According to two company executives familiar with the matter, Toyota plans to start selling the GAC Toyota ix4 by the end of the year. The car is a battery-powered compact SUV based on GAC’s Trumpchi GS4, and has been in development for two years.

Selling a car derived from a Chinese partner’s vehicle would have been unthinkable just a few years ago. But the idea gained momentum at Toyota because of the Chinese government’s push to get more electric vehicles on the road, the executives said.

The government mandates have spurred other new alliances, such as Ford Motor Co’s (F.N) agreement to develop electric vehicles with Zotye Automobile Co (000980.SZ).

Ford is waiting for regulatory approval for its partnership, which calls for designing and manufacturing several jointly developed no-frills EVs and selling them through a new China-only brand.

It wasn’t immediately clear which parts of the ix4 Toyota would provide, or which company’s design standards were used. Quality experts say GAC cars rate relatively high.

According to Jeff Cai, a Beijing-based senior director at JD Power & Associates, some of GAC’s cars, such as the Trumpchi GS8 corssover SUV, already stack up well head-to-head with vehicles marketed by global automakers.

“The GS4 is a good car with acceptable quality,” Cai said. He added that the GS4 ranked No. 1 among Chinese brands and No. 3 among all brands for initial quality in the compact SUV category.

One question, however, is GAC cars’ longer-term reliability and dependability, Cai said.

Under the new Chinese regulations taking effect next year, carmakers must amass credits for so-called new-energy vehicles equivalent to 10 percent of annual sales by 2019. That level rises to 12 percent for 2020. New-energy vehicles are defined as all-electric battery and plug-in electric hybrid cars.

Although the ix4 gives Toyota a cheaper and quicker way to meet the quota, it also shows the company’s anxiety about getting a toehold in the Chinese EV market before its own all-battery vehicle is available in 2020, industry officials and experts said.

“It’s a creative solution to a critical issue all automakers face in China: how to meet the strict production quotas for electric cars,” said James Chao, Shanghai-based Asia-Pacific head of consultancy IHS Markit.

Until recently, Toyota was one of the industry’s major hold-outs against full electrification. The company had planned to more or less skip battery-powered cars and turn instead to hydrogen fuel-cell technology as a mainstream alternative to gasoline-fueled cars.

But China’s seemingly inexorable drive toward electric cars changed that attitude.

At the Beijing auto show last month, Toyota unveiled plug-in electric hybrid versions of its Corolla and Levin, due to go on sale in 2019. The company is also developing an all-electric battery car of its own, which the company has said should hit the market in 2020.

“All this means our partnership has entered a new phase,” the second Toyota executive said.

The GAC-Toyota joint venture, established in 2004, has always produced and sold Toyota vehicles modified to sell in China or China-only Toyota cars.

To be sure, industry officials and analysts believe GAC Motor cars such as the Trumpchi GS4 have been developed through studying global brands’ cars, including those from its partners Toyota and Honda Motor Co (7267.T).

Toyota is negotiating to execute a similar EV deal with its second partner, FAW Group [SASACJ.UL], but nothing has been finalised, according to the first Toyota executive.

Exclusive: Toyota plans to roll into China

BEIJING (Reuters) – Toyota Motor Corp (7203.T) is taking an unprecedented route to meet China’s stringent green car quotas: its showrooms will sell an electric vehicle without the Japanese company’s distinctive triple-oval logo.

Instead, it will feature the label of GAC Motor (601238.SS), Toyota’s Chinese partner, and will be built around GAC’s lower-cost technology.

The move – a first for Toyota – will give GAC access to the Japanese carmaker’s stringent quality control, prestige and sales channel. For Toyota, it presents a quick way to meet Beijing’s requirements that such vehicles represent 10 percent of an auto manufacturer’s production by 2019.

According to two company executives familiar with the matter, Toyota plans to start selling the GAC Toyota ix4 by the end of the year. The car is a battery-powered compact SUV based on GAC’s Trumpchi GS4, and has been in development for two years.

Selling a car derived from a Chinese partner’s vehicle would have been unthinkable just a few years ago. But the idea gained momentum at Toyota because of the Chinese government’s push to get more electric vehicles on the road, the executives said.

The government mandates have spurred other new alliances, such as Ford Motor Co’s (F.N) agreement to develop electric vehicles with Zotye Automobile Co (000980.SZ).

Ford is waiting for regulatory approval for its partnership, which calls for designing and manufacturing several jointly developed no-frills EVs and selling them through a new China-only brand.

It wasn’t immediately clear which parts of the ix4 Toyota would provide, or which company’s design standards were used. Quality experts say GAC cars rate relatively high.

According to Jeff Cai, a Beijing-based senior director at JD Power & Associates, some of GAC’s cars, such as the Trumpchi GS8 corssover SUV, already stack up well head-to-head with vehicles marketed by global automakers.

“The GS4 is a good car with acceptable quality,” Cai said. He added that the GS4 ranked No. 1 among Chinese brands and No. 3 among all brands for initial quality in the compact SUV category.

One question, however, is GAC cars’ longer-term reliability and dependability, Cai said.

Under the new Chinese regulations taking effect next year, carmakers must amass credits for so-called new-energy vehicles equivalent to 10 percent of annual sales by 2019. That level rises to 12 percent for 2020. New-energy vehicles are defined as all-electric battery and plug-in electric hybrid cars.

Although the ix4 gives Toyota a cheaper and quicker way to meet the quota, it also shows the company’s anxiety about getting a toehold in the Chinese EV market before its own all-battery vehicle is available in 2020, industry officials and experts said.

“It’s a creative solution to a critical issue all automakers face in China: how to meet the strict production quotas for electric cars,” said James Chao, Shanghai-based Asia-Pacific head of consultancy IHS Markit.

Until recently, Toyota was one of the industry’s major hold-outs against full electrification. The company had planned to more or less skip battery-powered cars and turn instead to hydrogen fuel-cell technology as a mainstream alternative to gasoline-fueled cars.

But China’s seemingly inexorable drive toward electric cars changed that attitude.

At the Beijing auto show last month, Toyota unveiled plug-in electric hybrid versions of its Corolla and Levin, due to go on sale in 2019. The company is also developing an all-electric battery car of its own, which the company has said should hit the market in 2020.

“All this means our partnership has entered a new phase,” the second Toyota executive said.

The GAC-Toyota joint venture, established in 2004, has always produced and sold Toyota vehicles modified to sell in China or China-only Toyota cars.

To be sure, industry officials and analysts believe GAC Motor cars such as the Trumpchi GS4 have been developed through studying global brands’ cars, including those from its partners Toyota and Honda Motor Co (7267.T).

Toyota is negotiating to execute a similar EV deal with its second partner, FAW Group [SASACJ.UL], but nothing has been finalised, according to the first Toyota executive.
