Proof that Jin had developed feeling for yi ( in the movie part 2)

6. After Jin is taken by burnish and company we see how once again he wants to make sure himself yi and peng can get home safely and asks them if they can do that and reminder he doesn't really have to make sure yi is safe only really his cousin (at this point in the movie we can tell he actually likes Everest too like yi and peng but he gets swayed into seeing Everest as a monster lowkey because he kidnapped yi as I mentioned in part one) but then he finds out that the actual villan is planning on getting Everest but also hurt yi and peng if they really have to which leads to my next point.

7. Okay so here's were it honestly more about the character development of Jin but something about the montage were we see him give up his phone and allow himself to get dirty without complaining which up till this point in the movie he was more uptight and egotistical with only hints of his true nature of being really caring but why I'm bring this up is because to me(I think yi really made him realize why they should be helping Everest and he doesn't admit/hint at this till the most real proof in the movie along with the ending of the movie which I think is really Senifacant when I talk about the series and it's proof)

8. Finally the main four all are together again while escaping from "burnish and company" though nothing here is hard proof of Jin's possible feeling for yi (I think this is were I got some of the most married couple vibes or fling in the movie at least and honestly their so funny and cute like in these gifs because they would just finish each other's sentences Jin is doing so here but early on in the film yi finished Jin's in the blueberry scene I wanted to add more gifs but tumbler only allows 10 so I making sure that I can use them up properly)

9. After they escape this is when yi violen is broken which means alot for her since her dad also played and he passed away so since Jin knows the situation the best and know her since childhood he goes to talk to her in which he apologizes for what the said during their fight which I mentioned in the first post and yi tries to apologize back but then Jin makes a joke about he is in fact the worst and she was right causing her to smile after all that he and yi head back to (were peng and Everest was and we see that Everest fixed her violen with the strings being his magic fur )overall I love this moment be we really get to see how much he cares for yi through him and not someone else and how this is such a big character moment for yi (even just based of his expressions and body language you'd be able to tell how much he cares about her TELL ME THAT LAST LOOK ISN'T ONE OF LOVE LIKE COME ON!!!!!)

10. After this they continue on their adventure and then they figure out that with Everest fur as the strings of yi's violen are actually magic (ok but I loved the looks that Jin gave the whole time even before they started noticing the magic because its the type of looks I see/give when you'd have a crush on someone but idk I might be stretching on this one) anyways Jin afterwards goes up and gives her a flower and says : " we're so going to the Himalayas " which is contrasting what he would say at the being it the movie when he does this you can tell yi is confused by all the things that are going on but also and her greif is starting to heal that's why I think that momment lingers for a bit then moving on (also I have a whole thing about the flower he gave here because for one it actually probably relates to yi's greif but even Jin's possible feelings for yi which will be it's own post)

After the last 10 points their isn't really much showing proof of Jin's feeling since that's the climax of the film and any tiny moment the movie gave us we already figured out in the first couple of points I made or can be adressed in a future post of mine (honestly the climax is when there's like a tiny bit of proof that yi could also have feelings but I see more signs from her in the series which I'll probably talk about after my flower post and more moments from the film that I didn't post but I thought are Senifacant or cute/credits and even official books + concept art ) but here's a cute moment I love them so much

Proof Jin had feelings for Yi (in the movie part 3 kinda)

special addition flower post before I talk about the after credit scenes / concept art then the proof in the series

This is How the flower Jin gave yi both represented his feelings for her but also her feelings and grief over the death of her father which was more implied in the scene (regardless this is about more yi and Jin's relationship ship lowkey cause I have more to say and analyze ) anyways coming back to what I was saying the white flowers range in meaning from purity and innocence to sympathy new beginnings and are used commonly at weddings and memorials services .

But first let's focus how on yi's dads death was represented with the flower

I think it's heavily implied that the flowers being white while she was playing was a rebirth not only for her dad but for herself since it was the first time she used magic which becomes a big part of her character after the events In the movie but in the series which we see how helping Everest and going on that journey of self acceptance over what happened help her grow into the best version of herself and also I think is used in the scene to show yi's dads purity and good he had because yi and her family describes him as a talented and just a great person to be around .

But Moving on to why I think this also could have represented Jin's feelings is because white flowers also mean this :

Ok two things after reading these meaning is that not only was him giving her the flower showing his admiration which at that point in the movie we know is the case but could imply even a bit of romance especially since he gives her the flower and by extension his trust

Why I think this is so significant though and show that Jin could of had romantic feelings was because he not only is trusting her but also showed how much she means to him and what Jin's character development was leading to since the very beginning was to rebuild his relationship with yi and also learn to see things in a different light compared to what he once was I don't know I just feel like this was the set up for something romantic between them in the future which we kinda see in the show but yeah that's all I have to say for this rant. ( till the next abominable post)

Part 2:

Proof jin had developed feeling for yi (in the movie ) part 1

1. at the beginning of the movie we see how he notices yi when she walks by but doesn't say anything about it in till he sees her again back in the apartments ( so for a egotist like Jin to notice yi and actually look at her like fr hes the only one who looked at her out of his friends !!! It shows he takes a great deal to notice the little things about her and what she's doing like his comment when see her again by pointing out her smell showing that he takes notice of the little things involving her)

2. When Jin and peng first encountered Everest Jin first reaction was to panic but most importantly protect himself yi and peng already showing how much he of course cares about other people epically yi since after Everest takes yi he and his cousin decided to follow them ( if Jin genuinely didn't care about yi he would have just ran away when he and peng first saw Everest but no he wanted to make sure yi was ok first and that's why he even followed in the first place despite being with his cousin that he still would have to take care of)

3. When Jin finally catches up with yi and Everest his first reaction is to make sure yi was ok then break down by blaming her for all this despite if peng didn't hop on he wouldn't be there right????( this will be brought up again in a later point) Well it shows that he probably still would have joined yi because he really does want her to be safe and if he didn't care about her in the first place he wouldn't have followed her.

4. After the silly blueberry scene jin and yi have fight were they both make comments that both shouldn't have said epically Jin's comment and we see how the both of them regret snapping at each other and we see in Jin expression he had immediate regret while yi's anger last only a littlebut turn into a regretful look ( and I think this is a big turning point in their pre strained relationship before the events of the movie and what leds to it mending and maybe just maybe something more??)

( also can we talk about how in some interactions between them they srs act like a married couple like I think it's more prominent in the series but still like come on in this gif Jin him self said he was acting like his parents idk it just the way that yi and Jin are looking at peng and Everest that scream parents to me😭)

5. After their 2 escape from from burnish and company Jin is separated from the others and this is when peng tells yi how Jin didn't only come only for peng but yi and overall reinforcing that Jin cares for yi but what I take from this is that Jin even before the events of the movie expressed that he cares about yi to peng / his family which Normally in real life when you like someone alot you bring them up to your family alot in passing just point that out 🤭( know we can't really confirm everything that ping said in the scene is how Jin really feels since it's not from Jin himself but we can honestly assume so from my previous points)

I'm going to do a part two ✌ to rap up the movie part of my points and these points aren't even the most biggest points in my analysis idk if anyone will even knows about abominable but I got to get this of my mind (this is my second time making this post the first time tumbler glitched and it didn't post 😞 but hey 😁 I did it a second time showing how much I'm actually obsessed over this and just Abominable in general I think it's my special interest now)
