I can absolutely 1000% see Alastor wearing a dress, but like a librarian's dress. Buttoned up to the neck, skirt down to his ankles, monocle swapped out for a pair of thin-rimmed spectacles that he can slowly lower down the bridge of his nose while giving the viewer a knowing smirk over top them-

Librarians are sexy. Alastor would make a sexy librarian.

I can see him wearing a more revealing dress though. Maybe not something TOO revealing or skimpy, but a back-less dress? I see it. A flapper dress? FUCK YES!

If he does wear something more revealing, I see him doing that to troll someone. Like he's intentionally trying to make them slip up. He's intentionally trying to get a reaction out of them (cough Vox cough).

thx to @liambaeyne i’ve just learned that JBFA IS BACK BABY and there is a smalllll archive of old fics, but it includes three (3!) of my favorites by Cat. Ahhh I sincerely hope those are there by her knowledge and consent because, don’t get me wrong AB/PP are amazing, but Hands and Knees is the fic that got me INTO fic.

If anyone misses ole cat’s writing, I’d recommend a read of 364 Days of Woe. It’s classic fanfiction tropes but executed perfectly. Plus, you have hilarious and misguided Nicky J, with features from Miley, Selena, Jesse McCartney... I mean what’s not to love lol. You don’t have to be a JoBro fan to enjoy :P

MONDAY, MAY 7, 2018  - LYRIC OPERA of CHICAGO (@LyricOpera)

My whimsical night was topped off with a few minutes talking with @chefcarlahall. I made sure she knew how much I admired her journey from being a contestant on the most talent-stacked season ever of @BravoTopChef to being a co-host on @TheChew-ABC. 

We both laughed at how fast a decade can go whether you're in the spotlight, or not. On this night, she served as a graceful @BeardFoundation, Master of Ceremonies for the 2018 Awards Gala and brought the same beauty, humor and wittiness to the stage that she did 10 years ago when she won all of our hearts during the thrilling, eighth season of an award-winning, cook-off reality show. There is a certain magic that happens when we meet our Super Heroes and they share just enough of their time & humanity with us, that we walk away having discovered our own super powers. I'd like to thank Chef @CarlaHall for doing just that.

I still can’t believe I was able to log back into JBFA today. Like. This is. Revolutionary. I truly thought the site was gone forever but IT’S BACK IN WORKING ORDER! ALL MY STORIES ARE THERE! ALL THE REVIEWS! EVERYTHING! 

Where is the rest of my JBFA crew to scream with me???

I might go reacquaint myself with my old Jonas fics/characters for a little bit tonight. And maybe go find some of my old favorite stories and reminisce, too.
