"seungie don't worry! they'll love you almost as much as i do!" you said, putting on a comforting smile for him. you knew how much he wanted to impress your parents and show that he is very worthy of your love, so you understood why he was so nervous. he had insisted on bringing flowers for your parents and nothing was changing his mind. he even went as far as preparing some small jokes to ease the tension between everyone. it was safe to say that your parents loved him very much

your brows furrowed at the sight of the wound on your boyfriend’s face. his soft and supple skin was yet again ruined by a useless fight.

“oh no, it looks like this might one scar.”

carefully, you apply the ointment to the scratches on his face and gently cover them up with a bandaid while dabbing some rubbing alcohol to his bottom lip.

“you are so lucky you have a caring girlfriend by your side to help you whenever you get hurt.” you tell him while simultaneously treating his swollen lip.

“i don’t care about getting hurt because i know you will always take care of me.” unconsciously you face flushes into a bright red hue at his comment, making you duck your face in embarrassment.

“hey, what’s wrong, doll?”

he cups your face with one of his hands while the other one points at his lip, teasingly.

“jay, i—”

“you always kiss my wound better, today isn’t an exception.”

it was true, since the start of your relationship jay had always seemed to pick fights with anyone who bad-mouthed you, which resulted in you getting worried about him while he brushed it off like it was normal and jay demanded you to quote on quote, ‘kiss them better’. however, today’s injury was on the bottom of his lip, making it swollen.

you’re shushed by his lips on yours while his hand slowly grabs your hip to bring you closer. the taste of banana milk is still lingering on his tongue mixed with his strong cologne scent in the background.

kissing jay was nothing new, yet every time felt like the first. the excitement, the hint of nervousness and the desire to crave more of him— jay had made you obsessed.
