i dont think ive made furs for any others ^_^ i was gonna make mateo a badger (also old art linked, insect warning) and cosmo might be a horse or specifically... a neopets Peophin adjacent animal...(he's the guy drawn in purple) he's a prince and royalboy peophins always make me think of him!

Personality

Very happy-go-lucky, almost always in a good mood. Athena is very casual about most things, to the point where a lot of people think she doesn’t take anything seriously. While that might be true, at least to a certain degree, rest assured that when things do go down, she’ll be ready to go. 

She also will flirt with just about any woman she comes across, even if they’re trying to kill her at the time.

Hobbies

Keeping her body in shape for the most part, as well as tuning her vehicular pride and joy, a custom Quadra Javelina. More recently Athena has taken to reading ancient philosophy, if nothing else to keep up with her partner’s quoting.

It depends on the occasion, but Athena’s gotten partial to Calavera Feliz.

It depends on whether she’s working, but usually it’s light tops and comfortable, practical pants. Sleeves are always optional.

What do they wear when they "Get dressed up"? And what would be considered a "special occasion" to them? {I.E. "I have to look my best" Or an "It's our anniversary"}

Usually it’s a basic suit shirt and pants combo, but rarely, very rarely, she’ll wear a dress. pics or it didn’t happen

As to what she considers a special occasion, it would almost certainly be something private with her partner.

What do they smell like?

Sweat, gunpowder and a teensy, tiny bit of lavender.

How do they walk? (Do they sway their hips? Do they walk with a sense of determination? Do they bounce as they walk? Etc)

Very relaxed, shoulders down, with a slight strut. (and a lot of winks to passing ladies)

Are they more of an early bird or a night owl?

She could get work day or night, so Athena’s sleep schedule ends up being pretty flexible. She does prefer sleeping in when possible, though.

Casual.

One or two more Australian colloquialisms, such as “bloody oath” or “yeah nah/nah yeah”.

Summer, for sure.

She prefers sunny and warm, but to be honest the weather in general just doesn’t bother her. Except for sandstorms, god she hates the sandstorms.

Do they have someone they're with relationship-wise? If so, who?

Despite flirting and having flings with literally half the women she comes across, she is very loyal and has an ongoing, proper relationship with her partner, T-Bug. T-Bug doesn’t really have a problem with the flings, so long as Athena’s faithful/truthful about what she’s doing.

Mostly physical things, like hugs and soft kisses... with permission, of course. Also, lots of flirting.

Legs spread, usually to let someone sit in front of her so she can hug them.

Boxers and a tank top, with extra layers depending on the weather.

How do they usually sleep? {Side sleeper, back, fetal position, backwards, nest sleeper, blanket mountain, etc}

She’ll sleep on her back, either spread out by herself or an arm wrapped around someone else.

She doesn’t need anything to help her sleep, but the sound of rain is surprisingly soothing for her.

Athena doesn’t generally get upset, but when she does, there’s a little spot on the Pacifica beachfront that always calms her down.

She’ll flick at her pointer finger with her thumb on one hand, then tap the palm of her other to make a sort of rhythm.

What is their "tell" for lying?

Athena’s not much of a liar, that being said her tell is that she crosses her arms, tapping her fingers on them.

What is their favorite color?

Gold, but not for what you think. It’s her favorite color because she likes to try and make things “good as gold”. And yes, because it’s shiny.

Favorite flower/plant?

Lavender.

Favorite sweet of choice?

Raspberry Licorice.

Do they have any pets? If so, tell me about them.

Pets are bloody expensive, no way she has one.

What are their triggers {If they have any}? If so, what calms them down?

She has only one trigger, it’s a defensive one, for a... particular name. She refuses to elaborate and about the only thing to calm her down is either T-Bug, or her quiet spot.

If they could visit anywhere in the world, where would they go and why?

Well, there is this certain villa in Crete that she has her eye on...

What is their favorite comfort meal?

Ice cream, vanilla/chocolate/caramel combo.

Do they have a food they hate?

Despite her apparent sweet tooth, cake. Just the way it feels in her mouth just... doesn’t sit with her.

What is their favorite {non-alcoholic} drink?

Hot chocolate, bonus points for an imported Australian brand.

What are their plans for the future {if they have any}?

Pay off her fixer debt, then help T-Bug retire. Simple, but definitely long term.

Anything AC/DC. It’s practically all she listens to

- Athena has a Y2K 20 cent piece, given by her late grandma before she moved to the states.

- She had her first kiss on the Pacifica rollercoaster with then girlfriend, Felicia.

- Has a nickname for just about everyone she knows... except for T-Bug.

- Once spent 24 hours inside an Animal den for a bet, got caught by none other than Sasquatch on the way out. Charmed her way out, naturally.

- Did I mention she flirts with almost any woman she comes across? Cause she does.

Pre 2054: Living in Australia.

2053: Moves to NUSA.

2054: Settles into Pacifica, Night City.

2069: Her father Bradley gets drafted into the Unification war, doesn’t return.

2070: Is forced to leave Pacifica, moves into Watson.

2070-2077: Begins merc work, gets into debt with fixers over gear lost and bad jobs.

2077: Saves the life of T-Bug, the pair work together, eventually helping V and others.

Patty Simmonds: already written! Yay! My cringefail loser daughter of an OC, I love her so much. Claire Simmonds might have both a son and a daughter, but she's a tiktok boy!mom.

Mary Simmonds: I think I textwalled an AU in which Jason did not die, but Peter marries Ivy because SOMEone had to man up and comp-het...until Ivy dies after childbirth (hospital aftercare is shitty, it allows Nestle to engage in predatory marketing practices that malnourished babies to death, which is not generally good for the physical and mental wellbeing of parents either, but that's not what happened here I'm only saying we should just hate on Nestle.) And then while Jason spends his 20s on the road like Jack Kerouac finding himself, Peter's raising the baby with the help of Cool Vodka Aunt—Mary Simmonds, after which the baby is named, because they all think Ivy had a daughter. Teenaged Mary Simmonds "Daughter of Ivy" attends Saint Cecilia's and figures out that he's trans—changes his name to Marius, after the guy in Peter's favorite Broadway musical. Marius Simmonds likes his chosen name of course, but it's partially a sort of "just in case" his dad is transphobic ("but it's your favorite name from your favorite musical, dad 🥺 how can you not accept it?") Because for all this kid knows, Peter is cis and hetero and Marius's biological father. And I think Peter is not transphobic, in the same way that Claire or Matt were not homophobic to Peter—but it's a big change in his world that he doesn't know what to do with, because Peter was very happy and comfortable raising a daughter. He doesn't think he was ever good enough at being A Boy, to raise a son. You know who might be? Jason. So now Jason's gotten tracked down and living with them while Marius is like "...who the hell is this new guy living in our house for no reason, and why does he and my dad have intense staring contests all the time while the new guy gives me life advice? whatever, this is weird I just want to graduate from Catholic school and be free to transition in college" meanwhile Cool Vodka Aunt Mary Simmonds is not offended at all that her namesake decided not to be a namesake, because she (Aunt Mary) knows everything about the situation and isn't saying anything because nobody is asking her. Ergo the vodka mixers.

Javelina Simmonds: W.I.P. right so imagine Jason McConnell is getting rushed to a hospital while falling comatose from two capfuls of GHB (Lucas thought one capful was for Peter. We know the rest.) SO THEN as he's having a near-death experience—we are getting to Javelina—a near death experience in which he makes a wish that Peter never went to St. Cecilia's. Reason being, they wouldn't have met, so then everybody would be happier except for Jason. They do still meet eventually, because Jason might be smart but he is not clever. After that version of Jason married Ivy in a shotgun wedding right out of high school, their baby suffered a cot death, they decided to divorce after that because there's no "for the children" to stay married for, Ivy goes on to have an amazing art gallery career because I said so...and Jason wanders some big city park at night looking for drugs and hookups to numb his self-loathing. Peter in that alternate history decides to do the same thing in that same big city in that same city park one night, and after that it's full of suspicious plot contrivances to get them bantering and meeting up again by accident and meeting up again on purpose and "wow I never told anyone that" at each other...as ye do, when you're M/M soulmates being written by a fujoshi. But this was supposed to be about Javelina. I'm getting to introducing Javelina.

So anyway eventually Peter goes "living in the big city actually sucks, so I want to go home and if you're not doing anything else with your life would you like to live in Scottsdale Arizona or Roswell New Mexico with me? Our fanfiction author hasn't decided where I'm from," and then Jason's like "I will follow you to the ends of the fuckign earth. because I'm not doing anything else with my life. not because I like you or anything..." But Jason's head over heels in love and also disowned and unemployed and unhoused so it's complicated because Peter has options, but so Jason thinks that Peter thinks that Jason is only hanging around with him for the options or that maybe Peter only does all this for attractive homeless disowned unemployed divorced guys. Jason's not clever. So they go to Sedona Arizona (I haven't decided yet) to meet Peter's family. It's somewhere in Arizona because I heard a migrating group of feral hogs called javelina were wrecking the golf courses of somewhere Arizona and so that's what I named Peter's little sister after. She's not little anymore, by this time they're all like...23. So Claire knows Jason's family name without Peter telling her because Jason grew up looking exactly like his father, and then Claire and Mrs. McConnell were in the same suburban book club 24 years ago when they went into labor. The McConnells moved to the East Coast when Jason and Nadia were 4, so Peter doesn't remember any of this—Until bringing the hot unemployed homeless guy he kept meeting by accident in the city park home to meet his mother, Peter did not know Jason had a sister, and did not know Jason had a wife and child (ok Ivy had the child, but by Vermont law Jason owned half of it) or even Jason's last name—uh Peter is not clever in this fanfiction either, so don't do this in real life. But anyway Claire has the photo album from before Javelina was born, that gives Jason a panic attack because there are all these toddler photos of the three of them and now Peter is like 🥺 "maybe this is a sign that we were meant to be together" while Jason is commitment-phobic and internalized homophobic so he jumps out the window to escape his soulmate destiny thing. He survives because he jumped out the ground floor window. Anyway! Javelina is a total hippie, so she gave Jason weed to calm him down and got him a job modeling for university art students and house-sitting for a friend-of-a-friend who's living abroad. Javelina is much more got-it-together than Patricia, but not as much as Cool Vodka Aunt Mary. Anyway, Peter's still like 🥺 "...soulmates?..." And Peter's right they are so soulmates—but Jason's in denial for reasons that he doesn't completely remember. (That he, Jason, made a very specific wish while he was dying of a drug overdose, and the wish doesn't even actually give him what he thought he wanted, which is: Peter being happy without him because what he meant by "I wish Peter never went to school here" was that he wishes he and Peter never met and never will meet in the future of that timeline in which they never met. Too bad, Jason, you should've worded your wish properly. But he didn't know it was being granted by a fanfiction writer.)

I didn't consult a single ribcage reference and it shows. -Finger guns- For some background, Ridge Segovia can shapeshift into an ashy skull beasty thing. Ridge, being the empathetic performer that he is, has the ability to embody and internalize any of his fellow Firesiders, changing the warform's physical attributes. By channeling Noah, his skull changes into that of a javelina/peccary and has a sword arm. He also becomes much more ticked off. Because what else would you expect to happen? Ridge: "Channel Noah they said. It'd be FUN they said." It's law 'round these parts that every screamy drawing needs a theme song: "Fury" by Wage War

unfortunately I don't have many furry ocs (or any at all lol) nor have I gotten many varied comms (thankful for this actually bc id flub them so hard) for to answer the weirdest I've already drawn but I do wanna explore more birds, and I'm actually trying to think up a more unique mammal to make talon's fursona so I can have an excuse to practice more animals as well.

the one ive been considering is a javelina which wld be a challenge bc of da low snout
