• In most cases, you can’t be anywhere without Carlisle, especially after finding out you’re both mates

• Sometimes you do want time for yourself, and it slightly scares you to speak that out loud, even to yourself

• What you don’t quite understand yet is the fact that wanting time for yourself is a healthy part when comes to a relationship 

• Carlisle is very understanding, you sometimes forget that there is one member of the family that is a mind reader, and after Edward tells him of your thoughts, he pulls you aside and at first you’re upset, but he was very reassuring and kind that helped calmed your anxiety and worries

• Having ADHD was a challenge, but it was your own personal challenge. Everyone handles it in their own way, those who have it and you nail it right on, rocking through through it

• After being with Carlisle for so long now, you have been changed from human to vampire and despite the ADHD still taking affect, you stop at nothing from a successful past to a successful future, having Carlisle by your side every step of the way

• All your time as a vampire, since the beginning of it, you did the best you could in living a normal life and by starting out on the very course, you followed your mate’s footsteps on the medicinal fields and had become a nurse working in the same hospital

• You were the first to be examining Bella after a that car accident at school that fateful day, and when Carlisle walked in, he took over for you

• The both of you know that Bella would soon become part of your large family, part of the bright future ahead and you truly looked forward to it, you were excited to welcome her into your large family with Carlisle

Twilight- Unknown: Chapter Six, Maria

(Alice x Reader x Jasper)

[five] [six] [seven]

We're now outside, by we I mean Bella, Alice, Edward, Jasper and Carlisle. "How long?" Edward questions Alice.

"They'll be here in four days." She answers him. "This could turn into a bloodbath." Carlisle speaks. "Who's behind it?" My sister's boyfriend asks. "I didn't see anyone I recognized. Maybe one..." She thinks back to her vision.

"I know his face. He's local, Riley Biers." Edward looks over to my sister after he reads Alice's mind. "He didn't start this."

"Whoever did is staying out of the action." Alice informs them. "They must be playing with the blind spots in your vision." Carlisle tells her. I try to think of who's doing this.

"Either way the army is coming and there aren't enough of us to protect the town." Jasper speaks up this time. "Hold up. What damn army?" Jacob jumps into our conversation. I watch as Carlisle and Edward share a look. Edward shakes his head but Carlisle goes with his decision instead.

"Newborns. Our kind." He tells the wolf. "What are they after?" Embry asks, looking in between us. "They were passing around Bella and [Name]'s scent. A red blouse and a black sweater." Alice tells the boy.

"They're after Bella and [Name]?"

"What the hell does this mean?" Jacob questions. "It means an ugly fight. With lives lost." Carlisle retorts sadly. "Alright... we're in." The wolf tells us. "No. You'll get yourselves killed, no way." Bella disagrees.

"I wasn't asking for permission." He shrugs.

"Edward." My sister looks back to her boyfriend who actually agrees with the other teen. "It means more protection for you."

"Jacob." She pleads. "Do you believe Sam will agree to an understanding?" Carlisle asks. "As long as we get to kill some vampires." He grins in a disgusting manner.

"Jasper?" We then all turned to my boyfriend who was thinking. "They'll give us the numbers. And the newborns won't know they even exist. That'll give us an edge." He enlightens us.

"We'll need to coordinate." The doctor says. "Carlisle they're gonna get hurt." Bella frowns, but no one pays attention to her. "We'll all need some training. Fighting newborns requires knowledge that Jasper has. You're welcome to join us. Alright?" The man tells Jacob who smiles with a nod.

"Name the time and place."

Bella goes after Jacob, Quil and Embry as we stay outside.

I hold myself thinking about how this is going to go down. I know I have the leverage, I'll be fine. But I'm worried about the others, and the wolves. Thinking about little Seth getting hurt just leaves a harsh taste in my mouth.

"[Name], we need to talk to you about something. Jasper, Alice you guys as well." Edward starts, Carlisle has a solemn expression across his face and Emmett even looks serious.

"Hmm?" I look up to them. Alice and Jasper have the same confused looks on their faces as I do. "[Name] may need to go into her wolf form. They're looking for her. The wolf form would protect the scent." Carlisle tells us, I furrow my eyebrows, not expecting this conversation.

"I don't know about that." I shake my head. "I haven't held my wolf form for longer than 5 minutes and it was one time." I argue with their statement. "That's why we're going to take these four days to train with the wolves." Edward tells me and I take a breath in, still shaking my head.

I know I talked about it with Alice and Jasper but turning into a wolf means this whole hybrid thing is actually real. I mean I know it is I can eat now and be in the sun but this is different. This sets it up to a whole new level. "I don't know if I can do it, Edward." I tell him honestly.

"[Name] I can understand how you feel but this will protect you in the fight. It will catch them off guard." He places a hand on my shoulder trying to comfort me but I just continue to feel tense and against it. Another hand goes to my other shoulder.

"We'll be there with you, it's okay." Alice encourages me, Jasper nodding along with her. I sigh. "Okay."

Emmett gets flung through the air, landing hard on his back but springing back up to face Jasper who threw him. I stand behind Alice, hugging her as we watch them spar with Esme, Carlisle, and Rosalie. Edwards' Volvo coming to a halt next to Jasper's Jeep. Him and Bella climbing out, heading into the field together.

"They're here." Edward stops, we all look to the treeline. I tense up, beginning to let go of Alice but she keeps a hold on me. Eight large wolves walk out of the forest. They're on edge, wary just like the rest of us.

"They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms." Edward tells us. "They came. That's what matters." Carlisle smiles. "Will you translate?" Carlisle asks his 'son'. "Hey, Jake. Welcome." Edwad tells the red-brown wolf. "Jasper has experience with newborns.

He'll teach us how to defeat them." Carlisle says. "They want to know how the newborns differ from us." Edward translates for the wolves.

"They're a great deal stronger than us, because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months of this life." The man explains, the wolves taking it and then he looks over to my boyfriend to take over. He hesitantly steps forward.

"Carlisle's right. That's why they are created. A newborn army doesn't need thousands like a human army. And no human army could stand against them. The two most important things to remember are, first, never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly. The second, never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that. And you will lose. Emmett? Don't hold back." He points over to the large man who smirks.

"Not in my nature." Then Emmett charges at Jasper with impossible speed but Jasper is practically a blur when he moves out of the way.

Emmett lunges several times, but his arms just grab at the air. Jasper stops for a quick moment. "Never lose focus. One more thing, never turn your back on your enemy." Emmett lunges again but the same thing happens but then he suddenly freezes as Jasper has him from behind, his teeth an inch from Emmett's throat.

It was pretty hot watching my boyfriend in action.

Everyone takes turns sparring with Jasper, except me. I'm just watching what he does. Observing his every move.

Alice and Jasper spar, something I was anticipating excitedly. It's been attractive just watching Jasper but both of them. That's like my biggest fantasy I didn't even know I had. They were basically dancing at how swift they both were. Alice called his every move. Seeing it before he makes them then out of nowhere she jumps down from a branch and perches on his back, kissing his cheek.

"Gotcha." She smiles before jumping down.

Edwarrd and Carlisle attack one another now. Jasper tells them what they need to focus on.

I make eye contact with Sam, obviously in his wolf form. I purse out my lips.

Knowing that he's probably the best one to go to about my wolf form. I whisper to Alice about what I'm doing before I do it.

She takes my hand in hers before I walk away. "Be careful." She kisses the top of my hand. "Always." I smile, walking away already missing the touch of her hand.

I go up to Sam, he takes a step back but I stop him.

"Can we... God, I don't even want to do this. Can we talk?" I ask him, he lets out a huff, looking at his pack but then moving his head to follow him into the woods.

I walk behind him and then when we are deep enough I observe around us.

He looks like he's going to shift back but I put a finger up to tell him not to. I focus on what I'm doing.

Feeling the heat emit off of my body. And as I shift into my wolf form I feel my clothes rip.

Mentally cursing remembering that was going to happen after it did.

"You said you weren't going to use your wolf form, what happened?" He questions me immediately. I roll my eyes.

"The Cullens, they thought it was a good idea. Said it will protect me since the newborns won't know who I am and it hides me actual scent." I inform him, he walks around me and I just stand still. It's weird being on all fours. This whole situation is just weird.

"What do you need help with?" He asked me. "I need to learn how to fight in this form. I- can I try something?" I get in front of him. "Uh sure."

I focus as I look at him, just wanting to know. I watch his form get a little weaker. "What are you doing? What did you do to me?" He questioned me, his form was panting suddenly as if he had been running.

"My vampire ability. It's taking peoples energy or their ability they possess after turning. Seems like I can do it as a wolf too." I laugh, now getting excited. "Maybe warn a person next time you do that." He huffs. I chuckle.

"Will you help me?" I ask, tilting my head. This is where it goes silent. "I guess. It's important we win but no more of that... whatever that shit is called." He tells me and I laugh.

"Of course." I say. I then stare at him, his eyes finding their way to mine as well. "I'm sorry [Name]. I truly and honestly am." He tells me in a sincere tone. I look at the ground.

"Why'd you do it?" I ask.

"I wanted you. I wanted you to be mine. It was selfish, childish even. I could tell you were forever going to want those bloodsuckers. No offense." He pauses before continuing on when I don't say anything. "When they wrote that letter and I read it. I knew if you read it, that you immediately would've dropped everything to join them. I didn't want to lose you but I lost you in every way imaginable with that decision. I'll regret it for a while." He exclaims, his gaze never left the sight of me. I let out a shaky breath.

"Thank you." I say.

"For the explanation. I can't get myself to forgive you right now but slowly. You're getting there." I walk up to him, nudging him with my snout.

"This is weird though." I changed the subject. "Being an animal. It doesn't feel right." I chuckle.

"It's a strange feeling but you get used to it." He tells me.

It grows quiet. "I should get going. I uh, have to get to Alice and Jasper." I begin to walk away. He doesn't say anything in return so I continue to go back home.

I wait outside the Cullen's house, I don't want to transform back without having some change of clothes. I lay on the porch in front of the door.

Moments go by and I finally hear voices. Alice, Rosalie, Jasper, and Emmett are talking to one another. Laughing about something. I lift my head up but stay still. They spotted me and at first glance they were cautious but Jasper immediately recognized me.

He throws his sweater off, covering me as I transition back into my normal form. He has his body cover me as I throw the sweater on. It goes to my mid thigh.

"I hated that." I laugh to myself stretching out my limbs. Alice immediately pulls me into her arms, standing on her tiptoes. "You did amazing!" She compliments me, I furrow my eyebrows. "I barely did anything?"

"Well you did it and that's enough." She kisses me.

"Oh, okay." I smile. "Thank you." I peck her lips one more time. She lets me go to go back to talking to Rosalie and Emmett. I looked over to Jasper who was now only wearing a plain t-shirt.

"You look handsome." I tell him, playing with his hair. He rolls his eyes playfully as he attempts to stop his smile.

"I'm serious, seeing you fight the others... It did something for me." I fan myself acting as if I was hot. He lets out a scoff while smirking.

"It was a real..." I quiet my tone. "Turn on." I whisper, kissing his ear. His hands go to my sides, gripping them, making me laugh.

The next day, Bella and I were sitting on the hood of Edward's Volvo. Carlisle, Esme, Rosalie and Emmet left in the Jeep. Jasper approaches us, kicking the mud from his shoes.

"Jasper, are you sure there's nothing I can do to help?" Bella asks my boyfriend.

"Your presence alone, your scent will distract the newborns. Their hunting instinct will take over, driving them crazy." He explains her part in everything. "Good. I'm glad. Hey, how do you know so much about this?" She asks and I forgot she never knew about his background. Or really much about my past lives or anything.

"I didn't have quite the upbringing as my adopted siblings." He sighs, he takes my hand and begins to walk away.

Bella followed behind us. He pauses to see her inquiring look. He lets my hand go to roll up his sleeve. Showing her his arm that's feathered with a bunch of white half-moon shaped marks.

"Those bites are like mine." She looks down to her wrist.

"Battle scars. All the training the Confederate Army gave me... it was useless against the newborns. Still, I never lost a fight." He smiles softly.

"This has happened during the Civil War?" My sister questioned him. He nods, taking my hand once again. "I was the youngest major in the Texas cavalry. All without having seen any real battle." He exclaims.

"Until..."

"Until I met a certain immortal. Maria." I feel him stiffen up from even saying her name.

"I was riding back to Galveston, a few towns over from my own, where [Name] was with our families. After evacuating a column of women and children. When I saw her." He doesn't make eye contact with Bella but she furrows her eyebrows glancing over to me.

"I'll explain later." I mouth.

"I immediately offered her my air. She was with two others." He says. "She told me I'd be a great use to her. Telling me she hoped I survived." He stops walking, the memory washing over him. His hand squeezing mine.

"Maria was creating an army?" Bella tilts her head, sitting on a fallen log.

"They were very common in the South. And cost a brutal battle for territory." He tells her before continuing. "Maria won them all. She was smart, careful. And she had me. I was the second in command. My abilities to control emotions served her well."

"I trained her newborns. An endless occupation since she never let them live beyond their first year. It was my job to dispose of them. I could feel everything they felt." He grimaces at the thought of what he did back then. My thumb gently rubs his hand.

"Maria would tell me she was a friend and was going to bring me to my wife, [Name] and our child. That they were safe and made me her puppet along the way. She pulled the strings and I had to do these things... until  a man told me about what happened to [Name] I..." He stops himself but I nod my head, encouraging him to go on.

"I left Maria, did some horrible things to [Name]'s murderer. He was older of course, almost 80 at that point. I almost did worse things until Alice found me. She had seen what I did and she knew [Name] well another life [Name] held." He explains everything, Alice appears next to us.

"Both liked to keep me waiting." She smiles staring up at us.

"My apologies, ma'am. I don't know what I'd have done become without Alice." He sadly says, looking at me as Aliee wrapped her arms around him.

"You'll never have to be that again. We're together, forever now." She kisses us both.

I observe Bella as she takes everything in.

Forks, Washington - June 27th 2006

Y/n L/n had just moved to Forks, Washington. She was what you could call a happy-go-lucky type of person, she was unfazed by all the negative things that would go on around her. All she wanted to do was live like there was no tomorrow, to live in the moment. Her sunshine like attitude caught the attention of a certain group of pale students at the back of the cafeteria, she had noticed them on her first day; there were six of them around the circular table but only five of them truly stood out. Their eyes were the colour of topaz, as if they were crafted out of the finest crystal. The group had their eyes trained on Y/n, she felt exposed under their intense stares but she didn't let it bother her. Instead she had left her group of newly found friends and walked over to the group of students at the far end of the cafeteria.

Edward was the first to notice Y/n, her thoughts louder than the rest of the students yet they were so calming. She was different from anyone he had ever met. When she had finally made her way over to the group, all their heads snapped in her direction. Alice knew this was going to happen, the pixie like Vampire was ecstatic to finally have another friend that would like all the same things as her. Alice was the first to speak up "Hello! I'm Alice and this is my family. This is Jasper and over there is Edward and Bella, and this big man-baby is Emmett and Rosalie is right beside him. It's so nice to finally meet you, Y/n." The h/c girl had a small smile on her face as she spoke to the Cullen's, she was practically bouncing off the walls when Emmett had asked if she wanted to join them.

Jasper was trying his best to control himself but it was hard, the thick scent of iron filled his senses. Edward was about to drag him out the cafeteria and away from everyone but Y/n had interrupted him from doing so. "Jasper? Are you okay? You don't look too good." She placed her hand on his shoulder, the Cullen's were now on edge; what if Jasper lashed out and exposed them all? Instead, he turned to look at the girl beside him and smiled at her. He could feel all of her emotions radiating off of her and it helped ease him just a little bit, she was like a walking shot of espresso; jolting his body awake by just one look.

Cullen House - July 20th 2006

Y/n had known the Cullens for about a month, she was at the Cullen home when she had first met the Pack. Y/n knew what the Cullens were, her reaction surprised the vampire family.

Edward had asked Y/n to come over one weekend, telling her Alice needed help packing for their trip to New York next week. Y/n being a good friend, had rushed over as soon as possible to help the vampire. When she had arrived, Edward was sat on the steps of the porch, his eye's were a little darker than the last time she saw him. Y/n made her way over to him, all Edward could hear was her thoughts running a mile a minute. Did I take a shower today? Wait I didn't leave to stove on did I? Shit what if I did? Edward loved her thoughts, they were amusing to say the least. Y/n had sat down beside him, her arm brushed against his own, the feeling of warmth eased the forever coldness he felt. Is he cold? Should I hug him? Before Edward could tell her he was okay, Y/n had draped her arm over his shoulder, pulling the taller boy into her side. If he were human he knew for sure his heart would be hammering against his chest right now. The duo stayed like that until the rest of the Cullen family had came outside, finally prepared to tell Y/n everything.

The vampire family had brought Y/n to a field full of daisies, it was beautiful. The young girl was so distracted with the flowers, she had missed the way the Cullen's skin had started to sparkle. Rainbow like flex making small spots of light to fall upon her skin. When Y/n had turned around, she was stunned. The sight in front of her was undeniably beautiful. Edward had the smuggest grin playing on his lips as he read her thoughts. Holy shit. They look like fairies. Wow. Do you think they would let me touch their skin? Wait no that would be weird. Carlisle was the one to break the silence, his voice was mellow - cautious. Carlisle went on to explain how him and his family were vampires, they had lived all over the world and had only recently settled down in Forks. Y/n listened carefully to each word Carlisle spoke, she was intrigued and fascinated by them. The Cullens all stood waiting for Y/n to freak out like Bella had done but she never did, a grin stretched on her face as she rambled on about if they had special abilities or if they had any secret talents. "That's so freaking cool ! Wait, so are you guys allergic to garlic? And can you see yourselves in the mirror?" Edward had laughed at what Y/n said, never has anyone actually asked them those questions but he knew they had all wanted to know.

Edward smiled at the memory, Y/n was unlike anyone he’s ever met; she was so carefree and such a delight to be around. A knock at the Cullen door broke Edward out of his thoughts, Alice had gone to open it letting whoever it was, inside. Jacob Black had emerged from the outside, the stench of campfire and damp logs filled the vampires senses. As much as they had grown to tolerate the shapeshifters, they wouldn’t ever be able to handle the smell of them. The rest of the pack had filtered into the house and spread around the living room. Leah was pushed into the furthest corner of the room talking to Embry, she was the only shifter that still hadn't grown used to the Cullens; she still hated them. The sound of laughter pulled the attention of everyone in the room, Y/n and Emmett walked through the door in a fit of giggles. Y/n had leaves and twigs in her hair while Emmett had torn the side of his shirt. From the looks of them, you wouldn't believe Emmett had fallen out off a tree along side Y/n.

Carlisle looked at the pair of teenagers, his brows furrowed as he questioned what had happened. Y/n, with a big smile of her now flushed face, had went on to explain everything. "So, me and Emmett were outside and I saw the most angelic Songbird and I wanted to get closer to it. Emmett suggested climbing the tree it was sat in and we did but apparently Emmett over here." She said, pointing at the muscular vampire beside her "forgot to tell me some of the branches are prone to breaking, so we fell out the tree." The pair burst out laughing again, clutching on to their stomachs. "We landed on the rose bush outside, Esme I'm so sorry for ruining your roses. I will help you plant some more." Esme waved the girl off, telling her it was no trouble and as long as she was safe and sound, that's all that mattered to her. Y/n had gone to clean up when Jacob questioned the Cullens about who she was and why they had another human around them. Sam was the first to point out how ridiculous it was and how if the Volturi found out about Y/n, she would be killed or worse - turned.

When the young girl had come back into the living room, she was met with a young boy, maybe a little younger than herself, holding back a girl who seemed to be his sister. Y/n tried to defuse the situation by getting in front of the older woman and asking her what was wrong, trying her best to calm the woman down. Instead, Leah had turned and bolted out the house; her body violently shaking. The crisp air outside made the heat coming off her body extremely visible. Y/n, being the caring person she was, had followed after Leah; a bottle of water in hand, in case the shifter needed it. What she didn't expect was Leah transforming into a large grey wolf, the sight had startled Y/n. The rest of the pack and the Cullen's had rushed out the house, Jacob stood in front of Y/n trying to calm the situation. Leah started to snarl at everyone, her fur fluffed out as she backed away. Y/n put her hands up to show Leah she didn't mean any harm as she stepped closer. Leah felt cornered, as if she were trapped. The grey wolf lunged at Y/n in an attempt to escape and go back to the reservation, deep cuts now littered Y/n's bicep; blood seeping into her shirt. Edward had snarled at Leah, ready to attack her but Y/n stepped in front of him, her hands pressed firmly against his chest. "Get Jasper away from here, I.. I don't want him to be close to my blood." Edward shook his head, refusing to leave her. Y/n gave a look to Emmett, he grabbed his brother and brought him back inside - keeping both Edward and Jasper away from Y/n.

Leah kept as much distance away from Y/n and her pack, her ears were pinned flat against her head as she whimpered. Y/n slowly walked over to the wolf, a blanket now in hand as she draped it over Leah's form. "Hey.. It's okay. You're just scared and that is completely normal. Can you please change back and we can talk about this properly?" Y/n had tried to be as careful as possible with the words she chose, scared Leah would lash out again; instead the wolf had listened to the girl beside her and shifted back, the blanket now hugged tightly around her form. Y/n had lead Leah back into the house, asking Alice if she had a change of clothes she could have. Once Leah had calmed down and changed into something more comfortable, she left the bathroom and walked back over to her pack, her head down as she tucked herself behind Sam. Y/n had Carlisle check out the cuts, they needed stitches but it wasn't life threatening. When the young girl had come back to the living room, the pack were shouting at Leah, telling her how irresponsible she was. Y/n shoved her way through the group, draping her undamaged arm over Leah's shoulders. Jacob tried to pull her away from the older girl but Y/n shook him off, telling them all to back off.

"Leave her alone. She was scared, you're all acting like you've never accidentally hurt someone before and don't lie either. Besides, I'm gonna have the coolest scar." Y/n bumped Leah's shoulder as she said it, a grin tugging on her lips. Leah looked at the girl beside her, confused why she was being so chill about it. "I don't think I ever actually introduced myself, I'm Y/n but you can call me your new best friend." Leah had laughed at that, this girl was definitely going to change their lives forever.

The Birthday Party - September 14th 2006

Y/n had known the Cullens and the pack for the last few months, she had grown quite close to both Leah and Emmett, hanging out with the pair every chance she got. Leah had become protective of Y/n, always tagging along with her no matter where Y/n had to go, even if it was just to the Cullen's house; Leah would be there.

Y/n's birthday had come around, she wasn't the biggest fan of celebrating her birthdays. She thought if you wanted to celebrate the day someone was born, then it could be any day of the year not just the exact day they came into this world. The pack and the Cullen's had planned a surprise party for their favourite human, setting everything up at Sam's house. Emily and Esme had cooked food for everyone while Alice, Bella and Rosalie planned on baking the cake - it took multiple attempts to actually get the cake right without burning it or messing the frosting up. Jasper, Emmett, Paul and Jacob were in charge of setting up the decorations with the occasional help from Leah, her telling the boys they were doing it all wrong and then proceeding to move the decorations over an inch and saying that's perfect. Sam, Carlisle and Edward set up lights in the small field behind Sam's house, declaring it was needed for extra light when they had the bonfire before opening presents. Speaking of presents, Embry, Jared, Seth and Quil were in charge of hiding them until it was time for them to be given to Y/n. But I have a feeling you would've already guessed, leaving such a big responsibility to the youngsters of the pack would turn terribly wrong. They had the bright idea of leaving them outside by the bonfire, now you're probably guessing the presents were caught on fire - no.

Instead, like every other day in Forks, it had begun to rain. The wrapped presents now soaked with rain water. Y/n had made it to Sam's house as the pack were panicking over what to do. When she entered the house, she was met with string lights hung up and a banner with "HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N" hung on the ceiling beam beside the kitchen. Jacob greeted Y/n, bringing her into a hug, whispering a happy birthday. Y/n had a smile on her face, she went round hugging everyone, telling them how much she was happy. Sam broke the news about the presents, he fiddled with his fingers as Y/n picked up on of the soaked boxes. She put it back down before grabbing a towel from the bathroom and placing it in front of her. Everyone stood around watching her pick up one present after the other, unwrapping them as carefully as possible. Edward and Bella's gift were first, they had gotten Y/n the CD of her favourite album; Edward knew how much she loved that specific album. Jasper was next, he was stuck on what to get her at first but then had settled on a f/c crystal pendant; Y/n had always said she loved crystals. Emmett had caught her the Songbird they had both tried to catch a couple months ago, it was blue with a brown mane and white stomach. When Y/n had seen it, a squeal erupted from her. She had jumped on the muscular vampire, wrapping her arms around his neck, repeating thank you over and over again.

Alice, being the more smarter one out her family, had gifted the girl a pack of pads, chocolate and a new blanket. Telling the girl she was going to need them in the next couple days, Y/n had thanked her and gave her a hug, telling Alice she was grateful to have someone that could see the future. Rosalie and Esme had collaborated on a gift for Y/n, they had gotten her a new sketchbook after being told how much she needed a new one after completing her old one; it was black with flowers etched on the front and back cover. Y/n had clutched the sketchbook close to her heart, expressing how much she loved it to the two female vampires. Carlise was the last of the Cullen family to give his gift to Y/n, the older vampire had wrapped the gift so neatly - a small f/c bow placed on top. Inside the box was another box, though it was much smaller and it was made of velvet. Inside the box was the most prettiest bracelet Y/n had ever laid her eyes on. It was made of a silver chain with small diamonds incrusted around a medallion, on the backside of the silver circle was the Cullen Crest; a small lion with its teeth bared, three clubs sat below it. Y/n had handed it back to Carlisle, asking if he could help them put it on. She had stared at her wrist for a couple second, her e/c twinkling with delight.

Once Y/n had gotten round to the presents off the Pack, Paul had taken his back; telling her he wanted his to be the last one to be opened. She nodded her head and moved on to Seth's gift. The young wolf had made Y/n a card alongside a photo album he must've been making; Y/n now understood why Seth was so adamant on taking pictures of her and the pack every chance he got. She flipped through the book, landing on one of the pictures that brought her the most joy; the memories started flooding back from the day at La Push Beach.

La Push Beach - July 26th 2006

Y/n and the pack had gone to La Push Beach on one of the rare sunny day in Forks, the group of wolves wanted to show Y/n what cliff diving was like. They had chilled on the beach for a little while, running around and chasing after one another - then they descended to the cliff. Sam was the first to jump off the cliff, the rest of the pack followed behind; whooping as they dropped to the icy water below. Jacob stayed behind with Y/n in case she had gotten scared and wanted to back out but instead she stepped back a couple steps, allowing herself a runway before sprinting and jumping off the edge. She let out her best howl before being engulfed by the water. Jacob had followed shortly behind, already seeing the girl splashing Embry and Quil before swimming as fast as she could behind Sam. Giggles and shouts travelled around the beach as the group played around. Seth had excused himself, telling his pack he needed some water. Paul had coaxed Y/n into playing chicken fight with them, she gave in knowing it would be fun. Y/n had gotten on Paul's shoulders as Jared held Leah up on his. Then it was on. The two girls pushed and shoved each other, trying to make the other fall and in truth, Leah had almost won but Paul had a good firm grip on Y/n's thighs before she could fall back and take them both down with her. Y/n shoved Leah back with all her might, making the older woman fall into the water, alongside Jared.

Y/n raised her arms into the air and started cheering, the rest of the pack swarmed both her and Paul, applauding the pair for winning. What they didn't know though, was Seth had taken pictures. He had captured the moment forever on his camera.

Y/n turned to Seth with tears in her eyes, she pulled the young wolf into a hug almost crushing him. She sniffled as she pulled away "Thank you Seth, this is so lovely." Seth had given her a shy smile before telling her it was no problem at all. Leah was next, she practically shoved the gift at Y/n, the h/c girl gladly took the gift from her and opened it. Inside was one of Leah's shirts, Y/n remembered it as the one she usually took when she would stay over at Sam's. Y/n had looked up at Leah before rushing to the bathroom to put it on, she loved this shirt so much; it was a deep brown colour and slightly loose. When Y/n had come back she was now wearing Leah's shirt, it smelled of her; bringing Y/n some comfort. Quil and Embry were next to give their gift, there were seashells in a glass jar. The same ones Sam refused to let Y/n take back from the beach, his excuse being "you have too many." Y/n wiped the tears away as she picked out a couple of the seashells and giving them to the two boys "I want you both to have one, so then we will never be apart from each other." The two wolves accepted instantly, Embry tucked his away in the breast pocked of his shirt, while Quil shoved his into the front pocket of his shorts.

Jared was next, he chucked the present at Y/n telling her to be quick to open it or he would take it back. Jared was the last to warm up to Y/n, not that he didn't like her - more like he was scared she'd do what Bella did, ditch them for the leeches. Y/n opened Jared's present, a small note sat at the bottom. Y/n had looked up at him confused, she didn't care about the gift being a note but what could it be that it was so hard for him to just talk to her about? She had opened the folded paper up and read it aloud.

"The treasure hunt has begun, now to find your present pretty girl." Y/n had the biggest grin on her face, she got up from the spot on the floor and walked over to Jared. "What's the rules, pretty boy?" She made sure to emphasise the words 'pretty boy', he wasn't going to get away with calling her pretty girl that easily - no, she was going to make sure to tease him every chance she got. Jared smirked before telling her the rules of the game. "The rules are this, you will walk around the house and I'll tell you if you're getting hot or cold." Y/n was all for it. She walked around the living room first, all she was met with was cold, colder, freezing. She then made her way to the bathroom but before she could enter, Jared stopped her. "Deathly cold, baby doll." She only grinned as she made her way over to Sam to ask for permission to look around his room, the older male gave her the all clear. Y/n made her way around Sam's room, she was once again met with cold, colder, freezing until she went passed the dresser and Jared called out from behind her "You're on fire."

She rooted through the dresser, at the back of the second drawer her fingers swiped against a small box, she grabbed it and pulled it out, showing it to Jared to which he smiled and walked back to the rest of the group. Y/n made her way back to her friends before sitting back down in her spot on the floor and opening the box, inside was one of Jared's only possessions from his mom. He never knew her really, she died when he was little and knowing he had gifted something so dear to him to Y/n had made her cry. Two hairpins sat side by side in the box, they had two crystal white pearls stuck to them. Y/n had slid the hairpins into her h/c locks, thanking Jared for the thoughtful gift before giving his cheek a kiss.

Sam and Emily had joined together to get Y/n a gift. Emily was known for being really into painting and Sam knew Y/n better than he knew himself so he told his imprint what Y/n would love and Emily had took it upon herself to paint it on a big canvas. The image in front of Y/n made her heart swell, it was Y/n and the pack on one of the day's they were free from patrol. She didn't know who took the picture for the inspiration but she loved them for it. The painting had Seth and Leah messing around as siblings do, Embry jumping on Quil while Jared had a muffin stuffed in his mouth beside them. Jacob and Paul were playing around with each other, looking like they were about to ram into the other like raging bulls in a china shop. Y/n was sat on the floor with a bunch of flowers she had picked, weaving the stems into the other to make a flower crown. Y/n got up and walked over to Emily and Sam, bring the pair into a hug telling them how much she loved the gift and how she was going to hang it in her room when she got home.

Jacob and Paul were the only ones left to give their present to Y/n, Jacob had handed over a small neatly wrapped box to her. Y/n had opened it and inside was a golden anklet with the pack crest on it along side a wolf howling. Y/n immediately put it on, adjusting it every now and then so it didn't get caught on her shoe. Paul was the last of the pack to hand his gift to Y/n, it wasn't wrapped like the others. She held the small black velvet box in her hands, an envelope was taped to the side. Y/n plucked it off the box and opened it, reading it to herself.

"I don't know how I'm meant to say this but I love you, I have ever since I first met you and before you say I'm rushing into things, I'm not. I'll try to explain this as best and as fast as I can. You are my Imprint, I don't think I've ever told you what it is so I will now. Imprinting on someone isn't like love at first sight, it's more like.. gravity moves suddenly. Y/n had opened the velvet box, a small silver ring sat in between the two cushions. It had two stones in the middle, one a dark silver and the other, f/c. Y/n had pieced the meaning behind the colours together. The dark silver was for Paul, or at least his wolf, and the f/c was her favourite colour. Y/n looked up at Paul, her eye's glazed over. She had put the ring on her ring finger before getting up and walking over to him, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him down to kiss her. Cheering could be heard from around them, Emmett had the biggest grin on his face as he shouted "It's about damn time." The pair pulled away after a minute or so, their faces displayed such an intense amount of love for the other. The rest of the night was spent eating Esme's and Emily's food and chilling around the campfire after the rain had cleared up, Y/n tucked into Paul's side as both supernatural groups shared stories about their ancestors and their lives before being turned.

Riley

"I still don't understand why I have to wear these stupid clothes" Vlad whined as we got out of my 1969 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 "because we need to blend in. And the clothes we normally wear aren't gonna help us blend in. We just have to wait a little longer until Bella gets here" I said sitting on the boot of my car. Suddenly a loud noise was heard through the parking lot "is that her?" I smiled seeing her car. She was driving a 1963 Chevy sidestep C-10 pickup. Which weren't around as much as they used to now days.

"Yep that's her" Vlad grumbled as I dragged him over to her. "Hey Bells!" She smiled as she got out of her car "hey Ri" "nice truck" "thanks" Bella led us to the office where we got our schedules and maps "looks like we have all classes together" I said looking over Vlad and I's schedules. Vladimir didn't see anything in doing this kind of thing but he did it for me cause despite what he often says or does, he has those rare moments where he'll tell me he loves me.

"You guys have history first" Bella quickly led us to our class before running off to her own. "Ok class we have two new students. Please meet Riley and Vladimir Romanian. Ms Romanian you'll be next to Mr Hale and Mr Romanian you'll be with Ms Cullen. Mr Hale, Ms Cullen, please raise your hand"

I walked to the back of the classroom to find a young man with blonde curls, a lean but muscular body. And he had beautiful butterscotch eyes. "Ok class today we'll be learning about the civil war. Can anyone give me a fact about it?" 

Jasper

I rose my hand but the new girl beside me spoke before I got a word out "the civil war started April 12th 1861 and ended in May 13th 1865. The cause of the Civil War started because of uncompromising differences between the free and slave states over the power of the national government to prohibit slavery in the territories that had not yet become states" "amazing Ms Romanian!" Mr Farley said surprised. I slowly put my hand down as I looked over at her in surprise myself.

"Well class I'll be handing you an assignment that will be due in two weeks. You can choose any war you want but you have to have the assignment done and handed in by the end of those two weeks. Your partner will be your desk buddy so get to it" when we locked eyes it felt like we were the only two in the room.

"I was thinking about doing the one hundred year war" I nodded and we started researching "you can come over this weekend and we can work on it then seeing as our next history lesson is Friday, you free Sunday?" She nodded as the bell went before quickly walking out.

I headed to the cafeteria where the rest of my siblings would be waiting. Once everyone arrived we walked in like usual and sat down at our table, the usual Cullen gossip going around until The Romanian siblings walked in with lunch trays.

They walked to an empty table in the corner of the cafeteria and sat down "something's off about those two" Edward said glaring at them "oh be quiet Edward. You’re just saying that cause they know your blood bag" Rosalie sneered.

“they're human's just like her" "which is bad" I said. Rosalie looked at me in confusion "why?" "Because the girl is my mate" Rosalie sighed but said nothing which was a surprise being that she hated Bella.

“What no snide comment?” Edward sneered “Edward a mate is very different from a blood singer” Rosalie sneered back to which Edward scoffed “whatever” he mumbled, not audible to human hearing but for vampires it was as if at normal volume. Once the bell went Rosalie Emmett and I headed to our last class of the day, English.

When I walked in I saw Riley and her brother sitting at the table in front of mine and Alice’s “ok settle down class!” The teacher yelled as we sat down. Once the day ended we headed towards the cars. I leaned against Emmett and I’s Jeep and watched as Riley, her brother and the Swan girl walked across the lot “you should go talk to your girl” Emmett chuckled patting my back. As Riley reached her car she turned and locked eyes.

“It’s more complicated than that Emmett” I sighed as she hugged the swan girl and got in her car, driving away “Shouldn’t you already know if she likes you or not?” He said as I jumped in the passenger seat with Rosalie and Alice in the back.

“no, I don’t know why but I can’t get a read on her, it’s like she’s a blank slate” “don’t worry Jasper, you’ll figure something out” Rosalie said patting my shoulder.

I looked behind me confused “what’s with you? First you hate Bella and then when I tell you that Riley was my mate your on board with it?” “…look Jasper, while I’m against Edward and Bella being together, I want you to be happy but also that a mate is completely different from a blood singer. There someone who will love you for the rest of you life while a blood singer is only a possibility of a mate. Edward could always be wrong and that could endanger our family”

I gave her a small smile before looking back out the window. When we reached home I headed to my room after grabbing a book on the hundred year war from Carlisle’s library “the hundred year war?” I looked to see Carlisle standing in my door way “we’re doing a project on wars and my partner and I chose this war” he nodded while looking at the book “you know it’s funny but while they say it was a hundred year war it was actually 116 years” I nodded my head curiously.

“Well thanks Carlisle, I’ll make sure to come to you if we need help Sunday” he smiled at me before leaving. I looked out the window to see it heavily raining again ‘hmm. I wonder what Riley’s doing right now?’

How they would react to dating a ADHD reader

Edward Cullen:

• When he first met you, you were hard for him to read until he learned of you having ADHD

• Before the two of you started getting close, he would often find his gazing topaz eyes landing on you weather it may be in the school hallways or somewhere else

• It took a little courage for Edward to approach you to introduce himself properly, and when he does, he briefly apologizes for that as you have a few of the same classes together

• Edward is impressed to see that even though your mind works differently, knowing it can go a little faster than you can process sometimes, you have a strong determination of letting nothing stand in your way

• You enjoy learning new things everyday, one of the toughest challenges that come with having ADHD is how you can get distracted so easily

• Despite a racing mind, you do very well in school and your studies. When it came time for an important test, that’s where you get a little anxious because the whole class knows of your ADHD and found it amusing to mess with you during something like this

• You always managed to swing it and get a high grade, a higher one than most of, if not all the students that filled your classes

• You were one of the last few remaining to have yet complete a test. The boy sitting behind you swiped the stapler off the teacher’s desk and opened it like he was refilling it with a new package of staples

• You didn’t give it a second thought of it until you started getting hit with flying staples

• It was very upsetting to you, but lucky for you, this was also one of the few classes you shared with Edward and once he saw what was going on, he went to put a stop to it

• Right I’m the middle of that, the teacher had return from a short staff meeting and interfered before things got out of control

• The boy sitting behind you got in trouble and was sent to the principals office, he later comes out with a week’s worth of detention

• Because of that distraction, you didn’t get the chance to finish your test and it was the end of the school day. Thankfully, your teacher was kind enough to allow you to finish the test on the following day

• Edward took you home and because you were house sitting for your parents while they were out celebrating their anniversary with a big trip, you had the house to yourself and Edward spends the night

• He didn’t like leaving you alone

• For that time period, you put a movie on you wanted him to see. Though it was more than a movie, it was more like a documentary from Netflix based on a true story

• “What’s this called?” Edward asks, clearly missing the title of it

• “It’s that Last Breath documentary I keep telling you about.” You say excitedly

• “Can you tell me about it one more time?”

• “It’s about that commercial diver getting trapped on the bottom of the ocean without oxygen for over thirty minutes and survives.” You explain

• Edward doesn’t ask any more questions, instead, pulls you to his side as you both cuddle throughout the show. You were growing a little sleepy and kept dozing off, when you come to again, you briefly remember you fell back asleep at the part when the diver gets trapped and nearly left for dead

• You don’t remember falling asleep as you don’t wake up again until the following morning, still snuggled up to Edward’s side as he holds you close to him

• As strange as this may sound, Edward was the first to recognize this moment that you are his mate and he wouldn’t trade you for the world

• You don’t recognize it until he protects you from James

Benjamin:

• It took you a while, but after entering the second month of the new relationship with Benjamin, you inform him of having ADHD and he was quite surprised to say the least

• “Surprised” as in a good way, he could never think anything negative towards you, you are his mate after all and he wouldn’t trade you for the world

• There are times when you have moments of feeling insecure about what you have, but as soon as a bad thought crosses your mind, Benjamin always has something to say about it, he didn’t like you having those thoughts

• “Here’s what I want you to do, every time a bad thought of yourself comes to your head, tell it to go to back to hell where it came from.” With your mate saying exactly that, never failed to make you smile

• Benjamin becomes a little overly protective when it comes to certain things through ADHD such as knowing how you can get distracted so easily

• For example, you were best friends with Bella, and her birthday was coming so you wanted to do something special, you wanted to make her a homemade birthday cake and because you haven’t taken your medicine quite yet, you were a little over the edge

• Unfortunately for you, something had happened that made you forgetful about watching the time to check on the cake and of course you may have overreacted, but at the same time, you couldn’t help the way you feel

• What got you distracted was overhearing Rosalie and Bella in the living room nearby, Rosalie was getting rude towards Bella and you couldn’t take it

• You’ve tried to not think about it, trying to distract yourself with this homemade present but what Rosalie says next, set you off like a bomb

• “Happy birthday… human.” Rosalie says with slight venom in her voice

• You dropped the fork in hand and stomped to where the two were, coming out unglued to Rosalie, you may have sounded harsh, but there was a good reason for it

• “If you’re not going to drop whatever crap you have in mind, than I want you to leave my house!” You seethed

• Rosalie threw you a dirty look as Bella places her hand on your shoulder, right than Benjamin makes his appearance after hearing you yell at Rosalie and wanted to see what was going on

• “(Y/n)? Are you alright?” He asks

• “Just fine.”

•No one says anything until the smell of something burning from the kitchen fills the air as Benjamin asks what that was

• “Do you have something on in the kitchen?” He asks, than you remembered

• “Shit!” You growl, heading for the kitchen as everyone else follows behind

• You pull the cake out and set it down, seeing that it was as black as it could get, you got really upset and started blaming Rosalie for this to happen

• Your mind was racing, and it suddenly made you feel upset at everyone, not just Rosalie, you could fathom that this was really happening, out of all days why today?

• “What’s going on?” Benjamin asks fondly

• It took you a minute to compose yourself before giving an answer

• “I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but I don’t have a choice at this point. I was trying to make a birthday cake for Bella.”

• Bella couldn’t help but feel flattered that her best friend would go through all this trouble to do something special and nice for her. While at the same time, it hurt her to see you so upset and instantly had an idea in mind

• “I know doing this meant something to you, and I truly appreciate your effort you put into this, but I hate seeing you so upset.” Bella goes on

• You bring your hands to cover your face in case of tears decide to well up

• “Listen, how about all of us go out to celebrate?”

• “You mean that?”

• “Of course, I mean when is the next time we’ll all be together like this?”

• You smile as Benjamin wraps his arm around you, pulling you close to his side, leaning to whisper in your ear

• “It would be better than staying behind to mope around about this incident, (Y/n). Don’t you think?”

• “That sounds like a good idea.”

• “It’ll be my treat.” Rosalie says

• Benjamin’s purpose in all of this was to keep you from looking back on the incident as few hours earlier and he was more than successful of accomplishing that goal

• Now he represents it, all of you had gone out as suggested to Cheesecake Factory for Bella’s cake

• Throughout the evening, Benjamin held your hand hardly letting it go

• Being with Benjamin made you forget all the worries

• As his mate, Benjamin knew how to make you fall in love with him all over again. With your ADHD, he never considered judging you for it, and if anyone messes with your ability to focus on purpose, they had better watch it

• Messing with you meant messing with him as slight trouble begins to brew

• Benjamin couldn’t wait to love you for all eternity, you know, once he changes you into a vampire like you wanted

• You couldn’t wait to love him for all eternity, you look forward to what the future has in store for you both

A very short short of Simon's pov on your situationship with Gus mentioning Apple Pie flavored

Brown's the color of late autumn. Of hazelnut, of onyx, jasper and sweet hot chocolate you enjoy in the cold mornings of February.

Simon gave you a sense of security and authority, and with him, the 141, your family. Those brown eyes in the middle of the mist of black paint reminded you of their comfort and their love.

Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley was as tall as a tree, rough like an untamed bull, his big hands only gentle when he touched you in any way, even during sparring. Though you never seemed to notice, and your obliviousness seemed to only lure him closer eager to see just how far he had to go for you to notice his advances.

"He's my mentor, my friend, my lieutenant."

Your brain fogged the idea of Simon ever being a romantic interest. After all, any short of intimacy amongst piers (specially your lieutenant) was strictly prohibited and Ghost seemed to be the most professional out of the bunch of you. So what exactly could lead you to think he would even try to woo you?

His eyes, they spoke a hundred words in a dialect you didn't recognize. Not in a person like him.

You liked brown eyes.

But add those brown eyes a hint of gold and they become breathtaking, godly even. A tiny detail you never imagined in such an eye color, yet when presented to you, they stole your breath away. Add to those brown eyes that hint of gold, and a patch of tan skin, a big round nose, now some dark, wavy hair like a sea at late hours of the night with a shine only reserved to the strongest light, and as if it isn't enough hair, a funny moustache covering half of the most gorgeous plump lips begging to be kissed and nibbled on.

His body as a whole, spoke volumes of his life, a bunch of scars from his hours of service and some other old ones along small tattoos here and there he gained on his youth working as a lifeguard and a policeman in the rich beaches of Costa Rica. He was muscular man, with a big back and huge arms resembling a bear, you wondered if he was was as hairy as one too.

He was breathtaking.

Gustavo Rodríguez. An operator from an international, private military contractor named SpecGru, and the apple of your eye.

A fear Ghost never thought he'd feel awaked the moment he saw your eyes sparkle with longing and awe at the sight of this nobody, of this... Random soldier, running through the field firmly gripping his assault riffle during a mission on a hot summer day hours before you could formally meet.

He had noticed your attraction to this man even before you realized it one day in the base while eating apple pie and giving Gus puppy eyes.

He had noticed before you because that's what Simon always did. He observed, he watched over you at all times, he knew you better than you knew yourself. After all he was your mentor, your lieutenant and one of your closest friends. He was your shadow, your greatest match.

You just haven't realized it yet, and he'll knock the sense into you somehow. That's a promise he makes himself everyday when he spots you and that nobody together
