I read your love bites and apologies story and I was thinking something similar but opposite!! Reader loves the hickeys and can't get enough of them! Like reader is always covered in hickeys!!! Maybe there's a situation with reader's parents or something, and reader uses it as a way to rebel or something! Idk! Just do whatever you want!!!
If you don't want to write this, that's totally cool!

summary: you decide to rebel against your parents by letting Jasper mark you all over, but it quickly turns to even more than that.
Tumblr media
“Woah darlin’, calm down now,” Jasper tells you, keeping one hand in your hair. Your mouth is on his icy cold neck, leaving kisses everywhere. He doesn’t have blood, so he can’t get hickeys, but if he could then he wouldve been covered by now. He tried again to tell you to calm down, but all he could focus on was your warm breathe on his neck.
“You always cover me in hickeys, so maybe it’s my turn,” you tell him with a smirk. You’re sitting in his lap, the two of you on his bed, and despite the fact you’re looking down at him, he’s in full control.
“You don’t like when I leave marks on you?” he asks, already knowing the answer. He gives that perfect smile that’s been burned into your memory.
“I love it,” you whisper sensually in his ear. You hear a low moan in the back of his throat as he grabs you by the waist. He lifts you up and roughly places you down on the mattress below him.
“Sweetheart, I’m gonna leave you covered by the time we’re done here. Everyone will know you’re mine,” he tells you.
“I was hoping you’d say that,” you respond.
“Why’s that?” he asks with a grin. You think back to the fight with your parents you’d had before you’d left home. You fell asleep without a shirt on, your parents noticed one of the hickeys on your chest, and they were not pleased. You assured them that it was fine. You still had amazing grades, great relationships with your friends, and your own hobbies, but they hated the idea you were having sex, especially not with someone they didn’t trust, like Jasper.
Jasper lifts up your chin, kissing you your jaw, bringing you back into reality.
“My parents and I are fighting about you again,” you say between breathy moans, “they think you’re a bad influence.”
“I am,” he said while slipping his hand under your shirt. You wanted to listen to his thick southern accent forever, hearing him call out your name in it. You tugged at his shirt, lifting it up. He quickly took it off, and you did the same with your own. Your chest was now exposed and he began kissing you all over. He left hickeys up and down your chest, your waist, your neck, everywhere. Anywhere he could reach your soft, warm skin he pressed his tongue to it. He knew neither of you would be satisfied until you were fully covered in hickeys.
He pulled away from you, slowly unbuckling his pants just to tease you. He unbottoned your pants next and pulled them off you, leaving kisses along your hips. He pulled down your undewear just enough to expose you and began to kiss you there. He licked your bare skin slowly, causing you to buck your hips with excitement.
He moved back up to your neck, kissing and leaving hickies there again, but he kept a firm grip on your hips. His mouth trailed down to your collarbones, and left more marks there. You knew he was trying to tease you. As he pulled away to let you gasp for air you looked noticed a tent in his boxers, and you knew you craved him. He began to slowly grind against you, his hard pressing up against you in the most satisfying way, causing you to beg for him.
“Please Jasper, I need you,” you moaned out. He began to kiss and suck one of your nipples. You jumped in pleasure as he put one of his cold hands between your thighs, roughly spreading them open. He stopped kissing your chest, and began to kiss you. His tongue was in your mouth, his hard cock was rubbing against you, and you were in pure bliss. He pulled away from the kiss and pushed a few strands of hair out of your face.
“Oh darlin’, I’m not even done with my tongue yet,” he told you before moving back down between your thighs. He grabbed you by the hips and began to tease you with his tongue. He traced it along your inner thighs, causing your hips to jump again.
“Please, Jas,” you begged. You saw him smile up at you before begining to give you head. His tongue moved in the most perfect ways. He kissed and licked you everywhere, and you had never felt more pleasure. His hands were firmly gripped on your thighs, and his tongue moved swiftly. You let out shaky mones as your got closer to your climax, but his movements never faltered. Before you could even register the thought, you had already came. Your legs were shaking from the pleasure.
He sat up, brushing more hair out of your face. He wiped some sweat off of your face before gently kissing your forehead. It was hard to tell if you liked him more gentle and sweet or rough and dominating. You sat up, resting in his arms. The two of you peacfully laid there, skin to skin, for what could’ve been forever. He shifted and got out of bed, having to force himself to let go of your hand.
“It’s getting late,” he told you as he gathered both of your clothes. “You should get home before it’s dark, or else I might have to punish you next time,” he whispered seductively as he left a final hickey on your neck.

Rosalie pets your hair with the tenderest of fingers as you slept with your head on her lap, head cushioned by a pillow. Your mate Jasper was off with Emmett and Edward for a boy's night. Which was quite unfortunate as he was one of the few who could subdue your nightmares that constantly plagued you. Thankfully you found the same sense of calm when you were with Rosalie.
She'd left a text to Jasper, telling him to come home when he gets the chance but that was a while ago. Maybe he didn't have cell service out there.
Drawing the blanket closer to you, Rosalie makes sure you're bundled so her naturally cold skin doesn't make you freeze. What she would give to be able to see into your dreams to make sure they were sweet. You'd been through enough in the waking world, you shouldn't have to suffer them again as you slept.
Was it really only four years ago that she followed the sound of your screams into the woods and found you being assaulted in the worst ways possible. When she saw you there, she was taken back to a time where Rosalie was in a similar scenario. There was no prior thinking involved in her decision to rescue you and kill the men responsible.
She didn't even know what she'd do with you once she finished killing them. When Rosalie gazed down at your dirty face and trembling body she was not willing to leave you out there by yourself. You were swiftly brought to the Cullen house so Carlisle could attend to you.
And from there. . . you and Jasper fell in love. You were there to stay.
The back door alarms ding, Rosalie nearly jumps to her feet before she remembers you were fast asleep using her for comfort.
She needn't even budge. In a second, Jasper was in the living room with them. Eyes brimming with concern when he regards your sleeping form. "Was it bad?"
Rosalie hums and resumes stroking your head. "She's had worse."
Jasper kneels down so that he could get close to kiss the bridge of your nose. You'd been doing so well this past month; no nightmares for several consecutive days and it looked to be keeping strong. Of course the one night you push Jasper out to join his brothers in hunting would be the night you'd get a nightmare.
"Remember what Carlisle told us." Rosalie reminds Jasper in a warm yet warning tone. "It's from her PTSD. She may never really recover. All we can do is help her when she's suffering from it." Maneuvering herself so that Jasper had easier access to you, he picks you up blankets and all.
He often thinks back to the day Rosalie brought you home. Bruised, naked, dirty and so terrified that your bottom lip couldn't stop trembling. Bright red was splashed across Rosalie's face and even dyed parts of her hair where blood had spattered on. Time itself had stopped in that moment. Rosalie holding you looked like a painting from Titian.
It was funny, the contrast between how Rosalie treated you compared to Bella. Night and Day. From that day on, Rosalie always kept an eye on you similar to a mother hen. It didn't surprise anyone in the family, knowing what Rosalie had gone through was quite similar to what had happened to you. A morbid, kindred familiarity that made Rosalie soften up to you.
"Thank you, for being there for her." Jasper whispers. Unequivocal tenderness warms Rosalie's eyes as she watches Jasper hold you.
"Don't be stupid." her voice mellow like a drip of honey. "Even if you didn't want me to be, I'll always be there for her."

── ୨୧ ! 𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗡
      𝒋𝒂𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒓 𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒆 x mikaelson!reader
SUMMARY: When Edward decides to leave Bella behind for her own safety, Y/N take the lead to take the Cullens to the town where she grew up, with her only concern being how to explain for them her real there.
WARNING: None.

"Edward, if you really want to disappear... I know a place we can go." Y/N said, looking directly into the mind reader's eyes, hoping to see some kind of emotion there.
Y/N could imagine the mess that was in Edward's head, the fact that he had, or rather, wanted to leave Bella behind for the girl's own safety was killing him from the inside, and despite feeling angry at the quick choice he made, she couldn't judge him. Y/N could never see herself away from Jasper, just imagining the possibility made her frozen heart hurt.
"Where?" Rosalie chimed in, looking at Y/N waiting for her response.
"New Orleans." She responded a few seconds later, feeling everyone's eyes focus on her.
Everyone in the Cullen family had a story that began at their birth and, often, ended with their last breath before becoming creatures of the night, stories of when their surname was something else, not Cullen.
Each one took their own time to reveal this story to the others, but it was never difficult for Y/N, after all, her life was normal before anything else... Right?
The vampire was born in London, but at the age of thirteen she moved to New Orleans with her mother after her parents divorced for reasons that Y/N didn't know to this day. Her mother chose New Orleans based on the idea that her parents, Y/N's grandparents, lived there and her ancestors came from there too.
From the age of thirteen, Y/N discovered the culture of New Orleans and grew up surrounded by it: street parties, blues players on every corner, restaurants open 24 hours a day, bright night bars and so on. At least that's what Y/N told her new family.
The truth is that the girl came from a lineage of extremely strong and well-known witches in the supernatural world, the Mikaelsons. Anyone who is smart enough would have a question mark in their mind now, after all, the Mikaelsons who are still alive are all vampires and vampires don't procreate, right? Right!
But what if part of the story has never been told? Not in bedtime stories, at least.
Niklaus' father was not the only affair Esther had, the mother of the Mikaelson family had a thing for supernatural beings and, therefore, in addition to werewolves, Esther became involved with a great wizard at the time, from the Bishop lineage.
Wizards weren't as well known at the time, as everyone focused on the female image within witchcraft, sometimes with curious eyes and sometimes with evil ones, but that doesn't mean they didn't exist, and Esther not only found one, she had a daughter with him.
Five years before Esther decided to turn her children into bloodthirsty creatures, she gave birth to Agnes Bishop-Mikaelson. Knowing the gigantic problem it would create if she showed up at home with another daughter in her arms, after her 9-month "trip", and that the child was not Mikael's, Esther decided to leave Agnes with her father and pretend that she never existed, completely removing the name Mikaelson from the child.
And it worked, no one from the Bishop family ever looked for her throughout her life and eternity, but that doesn't mean that the story of having remnants of a Mikaelson in the family tree wasn't passed on.
And Y/N, from the age of thirteen, grew up surrounded by infinite grimoires of her lineage, listening to stories told by her grandparents and mother, finally being able to understand why she could make fire light out of nowhere or objects levitate.
But although the girl saw her magic as a salvation, it was her downfall as well.
After the death of her grandparents, her mother became lost in grief and loneliness, going to the other side of the veil a few months later, leaving Y/N alone in a world of supernatural beings who would do anything to kill her if they knew about her great-great grandmother.
It didn't take much for the story of Esther's secret daughter to be revealed, and consequently, the existence of Y/N. Beings from all over the United States began to appear to the girl, wanting her life in exchange for revenge, and then her ancestors began to haunt her dreams trying to help her, but Y/N didn't understand that, and the situation only left everything worse for her.
Until one day, a charming man wearing a suit that was too expensive to wear on any given day appeared at the door of her house, offering protection and help in exchange for explanations.
Elijah was extremely helpful after understanding what his mother did to the Bishop lineage, being grateful that Y/N had no reservations in showing him all the grimoires and diaries of her ancestors, revealing the complete truth.
And with that Y/N was welcomed by the Mikaelson family, being able to train her magic with Esther's grimoires too, despite not having any physical help, since Kol, one of the Mikaelson brothers, was sleeping in some kind of coffin and Freya was dead, or something like that.
But it was one night when Y/N was walking alone through the streets of New Orleans, eager to return to the home of who she considered family, when everything was stolen from her.
An old and strong enemy of Esther appeared accompanied by reinforcements and not even with all of Y/N's still little knowledge would she have been able to stop them, the girl had only recently started studying strong magic and blamed herself for it, despite it not being her fault.
The girl was kidnapped and taken to a warehouse far from the entrance to New Orleans, surrounded by orchards, where she was tortured for hours, or was it days?
With the little strength she had left, Y/N was able to escape a few meters away from the warehouse, and it was there that she was found by Esme, who at the time was looking for fragrant apples to decorate the counter of her temporary home with her family.
Y/N could never be able to thank Esme enough for saving her life that day, if it weren't for the eldest, she would not have survived, already extremely weak and with fractures that caused irreversible damage to her organs, which would only lead to a slow death. Therefore, when Esme arrived at his house suddenly with the young woman in his arms, Carlisle spared no time before transforming her.
And then Y/N Cullen's new life began. She knew that hiding the whole truth wasn't right, but the last thing she wanted was to put the Cullen family in danger, already putting them at risk enough just by being with them.
"Are you sure you're ready to go back there, my love?" Jasper's question interrupted Y/N's triggered memories, and the girl was momentarily grateful that, with her magic, she could block Edward's reading.
"Yes, it's time to face those fears. Pack your bags, we'll leave at nightfall." Y/N informed decisively, turning around and going to her shared room with Jasper, finally being able to take a deep breath and organize her mind.
She needed to tell them before they put a foot in New Orleans, the girl knew that Niklaus would know of her arrival within seconds and she definitely didn't want to cause any more drama.
Y/N took out her phone and opened the contacts, her finger hovering over Elijah's contact, sighing and closing her eyes tightly before locking the screen, her last meeting with the Mikaelsons wasn't one of the best; Niklaus demanded that Y/N return home, despite her type of vampire being different, while Rebekah blamed herself for not having protected her enough before that night and Elijah tried to calm the whole situation, also begging her with his eyes to return to them, they missed her company, but she knew she couldn't, not at the time.
The girl shook her head, trying to shake off the thoughts, and picked up her and Jasper's bags, starting to organize the piles of clothes that she would take for both of them.
     ༻﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡༺
"There, everyone's ready?" Emmett asked after loading all the bags into the four cars and closing the trunk of the last one. Everyone responded with a simple wave and got into their respective cars, Y/N heading to the car she would use with Jasper, getting into the passenger seat and waiting for the long journey to begin.
"Baby, what's going on? Ever since you decided to take us to New Orleans you've been quiet. You know if you don't want to go there, we can aways choose another place-" Jasper began, his right hand on Y/N's thigh as his eyes remained on the road in front of him, casting quick glances at his girlfriend.
"No Jas, I'm fine, just thinking... I wasn't completely truthful with you guys about my life before I turned." She said, looking closely at Jasper, waiting to see his reaction, but only received a nod as if to say "you can continue, I'm all ears". "I think it would be better for everyone to listen." Y/N muttered, pulling out her phone and quickly starting a group call with one person from each car.
"Y/N? Unless Jasper lost his hand, I don't see why you're calling us. Your car looks great." Rosalie was the first to answer, being in the car behind Jasper and Y/N.
Y/N let out a laugh while Jasper rolled his eyes, Rosalie could be sarcastic when she wanted.
"Hello to you too, Rose. I'm just calling you all because I think I should tell you everything before we get to New Orleans. I wasn't completely truthful in the life story I told you before." Y/N began, beginning her long and tragic life story, smiling small when she had everyone's attention.
"This is all... Wow." Alice muttered from Edward's car. "How come I didn't see any of this?"
"Like I said, I'm a witch, and even with the transformation, for some reason, my magic wasn't interrupted or broken, in fact it became stronger and I have more control over it, that's why you only see me in some of your visions and Edward only hears some of my thoughts, I decide what you can see and hear." Y/N explained, seeing a sideways smile spread across Jasper's face, he knew she didn't mention him because she didn't hide her emotions from him, she never did.
"I think it's a lot of information to digest in a short amount of time, but we understand why you kept it from us for so long and I'm grateful that you wanted to protect us all." Carlisle took the lead, followed by "uhum's" from everyone, Y/N sighed in relief.
"When we get there, are we going to stay at this Mikaelsons' house or...?" Alice asked, looking out the window at the constantly changing landscape.
"We're going to the house I grew up in, I never sold or rented it. It must be dusty, but I promise it's big enough for all of us."
"Just the fact that I won't need to sleep with Edweirdo makes it good enough for me." Emmett joked, everyone laughing simultaneously, which calmed the tension.
     ༻﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡﹡༺
It didn't take long for the traditional "Welcome to New Orleans" sign to appear up ahead.
Y/N took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves, she couldn't imagine the Mikaelsons' reaction to seeing her again, so many years later. And she couldn't lie and say that she wasn't afraid of the Cullens' reaction to seeing what a mess her "other life" was.
The girl quickly took out her phone and opened the message group she shared with the Cullens.
"We arrived in the city that never sleeps, this is my home address, but you can just follow Jasper and I and we'll be there soon."
After sending the text, Y/N started giving Jasper directions to the entrances, trying not to look at the places they passed, as she knew she would get stuck in a memory loop. Finally, after many entrances, the girl saw the house where she spent her adolescence and early youth, smiling small as she felt her eyes fill with tears.
"It's that one over there." She said, pointing to the two-story house with a light pink fence in the front and pastel yellow curtains, just like her grandmother liked.
It wasn't long before the family found themselves unloading the suitcases from the cars and taking them to the living room, Emmett cracking jokes while Esme scolded him and Alice talked about all the clothing and shoe stores she saw on the way there.
A sound of approaching footsteps caught the family's attention, and they looked up to see a blond, green-eyed man approaching with an expression of anger and surprise.
"So it's true?" He spoke up, making Y/N freeze in the middle of the room, her hand dropping the backpack she was holding. "Y/N Bishop-Mikaelson everyone!" The man continued loudly with an ironic tone and sarcastic smile, opening his arms.
"Nik." Y/N whispered, closing her eyes tightly.
"Did you finally remember that you have a family, Y/N? Or did you come to ask for help with some nonsense you got into?" Niklaus asked rhetorically, staring at the entrance where he could see the girl's silhouette.
"Niklaus, please." Y/N spoke, turning and leaving the house, stopping a few meters away from the older man.
The hybrid stopped for a few seconds, analyzing the girl he saw as a daughter before she disappeared from his life, and the only girl Niklaus would set the world on fire if necessary, besides his brothers.
"Why did you come back?" He asked, crossing his arms, as if he was in charge of the city, which in a way is not a lie.
"We were in trouble in Forks and needed some time away." She responded with a sigh, quickly glancing at the Cullens behind her, who were paying attention to the moment without trying to interfere.
"Problems?" Nik paused for a second, a thread of worry passing through his eyes, which was quickly drowned out. "And do you find refuge here?" His nervous tone returned.
"Yes Niklaus, if you don't remember, I grew up here and my entire lineage is from here, I have the right to return to my home." Y/N argued, taking a rigid stance, pointing to her own chest.
"Oh, now New Orleans is your home? Funny how-"
"That's enough Niklaus." A second male voice came before the vision of a dark-skinned man wearing an expensive suit emerged.
"Great, a family reunion! Just what I needed right now." Y/N spoke with false excitement, rolling her eyes.
"Good to see you too Y/N." Elijah spoke, stopping next to Klaus and looking at everyone behind the Mikaelson girl, noticing their uncomfortable expressions at the sudden encounters and barbs exchanged between Nik and Y/N. "Why don't we have dinner at our house with everyone and... talk? We miss you Y/N and it would be great to meet the ones you consider family. If they're important to you, they're important to us too." He finished, sending a quick smile to the Cullens and receiving ones in return.
It would be long months.

ALWAYS THE BRIDESMAID | J.H.
pairing: jasper hale x cullen!reader
word count: 2k
warning: friends in love but the one doesn't know it yet
summary: bella and edward's wedding day has you feeling somewhat envious of their love story
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You felt awful, upset with your heart for the way it ached, for the way it shouted shots of anger, of envy, it was not at all what you'd expect of it on such a happy day. Bella and Edward danced below on the makeshift dance floor the vampires had very reluctantly created while you sat crossed-legged on the roof of the Cullen mansion- grateful for the darkness for allowing you to get lost despite the endless eyes that would search for you.
You had a great love for your brother and his new mate, happy that despite years, decades, of such grim, such overpowering sadness he finally allowed himself such mundane emotions of happiness. Maybe that was what had your heart drawing in upon itself. You didn't think yourself possible of such selfishness, being tormented by pity, by jealousy that reformed your decayed cells in a way that made you nauseous. You hated how your insides twisted, begged yourself, and willed yourself to remember the joy that swerved about your lost soul while planning this day.
But you knew where it came from, what it meant. Those were your flowers that cascaded down from the trees, your dress that flowed from Bella's life-kissed figure, your flower petals that spread towards your altar, your day, your dream. Yet you weren't there, it was everything you wanted and yet it belonged to them, you gave it to them, your dream and now you sit alone, rewatching it from the outside.
“Careful,” someone warned from behind you and were it not a warning you’d heard countless times before you’d not have been able to pin its owner down so quickly, the blond vampire swinging down from a branch and sinking down beside you, giving a soft sigh as he adjusted his suit jacket, about as unhappy with the fancy ordeal as you were, for very different reasons. “You might think yourself into a mess you can’t get out of,” he explained and you almost smiled, habitually moving closer to him, letting your shoulders touch as he looked down to search for the reason for your foul mood.
“You know, Jas, I was trying to hide away in peace,” you reprimanded, though he didn’t believe you, your emotions always betraying you, shifting as soon as he was close, it was as if your heart, despite all the wrong it did you, felt safest with Jasper, freely giving away your secrets to him and his senses.
“What do you think I’m doing here?” he argued, he was speaking in that charming, kind tone, you’d be silly thinking he reserved it just for you when really you were just most accustomed to it, prompting it from him much like he prompted calmness from you, a natural reaction despite your unnatural, supernatural existence. “You thought I came here for you?” you didn’t need to answer, he knew you did, and you knew it was true even if he was trying to pretend otherwise. “Very presumptuous.”
“Oh, you know me, always thinking about myself,” your words had a bite to them, thinking the present situation was the perfect time to remind yourself and your heart that no matter how much you wished it was, this wasn’t your day, and you had no right to wish it was.
“Hey now,” he breathed, disapproving of his words being turned into a real reprimand when really he was trying to talk you out of your head, talk you up from that hole you’d dug yourself into, help you crawl back to the surface to enjoy the day, it was a happy day after all, for everyone, or at least it was supposed to be. “What’s messing with your heart today?” you didn’t want to admit it, your selfish feelings, but you also knew that if anyone would be able to help you make sense of it, it would be your best friend, he’d not judge you for your short-sighted and very much unplanned pity party.
“Actually, I think it’s the other way around, think it’s messing with me,” you sighed, stealing a quick glance at him, sure the sight of him all dressed up and perfect would’ve made you blush had the blood still traveled through your veins, instead you managed a little hum, head tilting to take him in before looking back down to the newlyweds. “Can you feel what they’re feeling?” a puzzling question, leaving much to the imagination since you were sure they felt more than just one thing on a day like today, but somehow, as he always does, Jasper knew what you meant.
“That’s not what you want to ask me,” you hated that he could make that statement so casually, so surely, you also didn’t hate it all, you merely hoped he’d answer the real question without making you ask again. “Go on then,” he pushed, you wanted to roll your eyes, lightly shoving your shoulder against his instead, not missing the way his lips begged to tilt into a smile. “Ask me.”
“Can you feel their love?” he scoffed, unsatisfied, you were nearly there, almost at the point, it was dancing on the tip of your tongue, begging for release but you were being stubborn, he decided to be kind.
“I can’t feel it, per sé, it’s not just one single emotion, doesn’t just add up to one thing you can express, as complicated as love is, feeling it is much the same.” His pause was a courtesy, one he offered due to the disappointment that dipped into the air, flooded from you, and surrounded you just as your emotions often do for as entirely as you feel everything, you felt this in your soul, another stab at your heart, another knife in your icy coffin of life. “I can’t make you feel it either, can’t show you what it’s like,” he breathed and you couldn’t deny him the little nod you managed, not even thinking before you leaned your head against his shoulder, one hand snaking around his arm, other hand searching for his fingers and claiming them in yours as if they were your own.  “I would if I could, darling, you know that, don’t you?”
“Of course, I do,” you squeezed his arm lightly, not wanting him to think he’d disappointed you somehow simply by not being able to do the impossible, it’s just that living as you do, being what you are, the concept of impossible seemed so unspecified, so mundane. You had always longed for it, wished for it at night, dreamed of it during every moment of the day, you’d wanted more than anything to feel loved in all possible meanings of the word- yet it seemed more likely that Jasper could create a counterfeit version of it with his gift than someone truly feeling that way for you, about you. “Maybe someday I could feel it, really feel it,” you nearly whispered, you willed the words to sound hopeful, but even if your voice could pretend, your heart certainly couldn’t.
“I’m almost certain that you will,” Jasper promised and you hummed when he kissed the top of your head, your eyes not leaving the sight it had been trained on, the couple in question finally moving away from the dancefloor and by the smell of it, Edward had a howling surprise in store for his new wife.
“Do you think it’ll be worth it?”
“What?”
“Waiting,” you explained and you hadn’t noticed a rather lovely looking, yet slightly terrifyingly quiet Alice creeping up to join the pair of you. “Do you think he’ll be worth waiting for?”
“I certainly think so,” Alice sang, already making herself comfortable next to you, taking hold of your arm and gently forcing you onto her shoulder instead, pleased when the action earned her a little smile from your previously pouting lips. “Think you might not be waiting as long as you think,” she shrugged and you missed her eyes as they locked with Jasper’s, who was already looking at her, hope drowning his features as he fought his brows from furrowing.
“Don’t give me too much hope, Ali,” you said, happy that you had a distraction, her bracelets perfect to fiddle with as she let you move her hand into your lap, you were calming down, feelings simmered but uncertainty lingering, yet you were safe with your comfort people and though the love you shared with your family wasn’t what your heart wished for, it did fill most of the emptiness. “I love you guys,” you mumbled, smiling as Alice proceeded to pull you into a proper hug.
“We love you too,” Alice agreed and Jasper wished the moment would pass because Alice was many things but subtle was not one of them and the way she was looking at him was impossible to miss, even if you weren’t yourself right now. “Some more than others.”
“Oh, I know,” you agreed and when you pulled away to look at them you made sure to give Jasper an extra long smile, he was after all the one to try and make everything better first, even if it didn’t exactly work. “Jasper over here is a real softy for his best friend,” you giggled at that, loving the instant recoil at the words as he pulled you right back to him, being sure to hide the way he melted around you, so perfect, he found it awfully rude of his body to react so willingly to you when the chances of being with you were so slim, so impossible, but then again, just like you, he didn’t think impossible was all that big of an obstacle to overcome.
“That I am, darling,” he purred and with one last squeeze he let you go, already prepared to swoop you right off the roof and onto the dancefloor to take your mind off all that could be clouding it and remind your heart that love was already right there waiting for it, and he would be ready to show you- to tell you more about love and just how familiar he was with the feeling when you and your heart were ready.
“I won’t mind always being the bridesmaid if you’re the one walking down the aisle beside me,” you informed him, allowing him to guide you down from your hiding place, Alice made sure to leave a little space between herself and you two before following you down.
“You won’t always be the bridesmaid,” Jasper noted, not at all surprised when he looked down to where you were climbing the branches to find your shoes had long been abandoned, free hand trying to keep your dress out of the way.
“How do you know?” you demanded once settled on the ground, giving in to his fiddling as he tried to make your dress right, tilting his head slightly as he dusted the purple material of any dirt it might have picked up on your little adventure away from everyone.
“I have a feeling,” he was unnervingly charming as he smirked at you, happy that he could feel your nerves ease, all the horrid feelings that led him to search for you now masked by a sense of content and comfort- happiness, because of him. “Trust me,” you nodded, giving in to the mood of the party as you started dragging him to the very middle of the crowd, pleased that the song had changed pace and the bride and groom were away enjoying themselves in solace.
“I always do.” And you did, you knew him well enough to know he’d always tell the truth, always be honest, always bare his heart to yours, at least when he was ready to do so too.

Alice Cullen x Jasper Hale X GN!Reader
If you were their second mate - meeting them (human reader)
Tumblr media
Well, we all know about these two stunning vampires and their literal perfect relationship with one another.
But what if there was another?
You. Obviously.
Alice saw you coming at first, the whole ideal of having a second mate was confusing to everyone. It was unheard of and, yet, it happened.
Some of the Cullens questioned it, but Alice and Jasper were just happy they could share their love to another person.
Granted, Jasper was worried about having a human mate. He was afraid that he’d hurt you, of course.
When you first came to Forks, when he first saw you at school, it took literally every fibre in his body, every humane ideal and moral he still had to not pounce at your neck.
Alice was able to see it just in time, and Edward and Emmett were able to get him out of school just in time.
Safe to say, you had heard of the two, but it took just over two weeks before you were even able to see them.
You’d heard of them because, well, who hadn’t heard of every single one of the Cullens?
You heard of how some (all) of the students at Forks viewed the Cullens, they were all stunning, but no one ever really knew them.
You were intrigued, obviously.
You’d heard of Alice and Jasper, but you’d never see them at school until almost a month. How odd.
You’d first met Alice, she was in one of your classes - English.
You’d been seated in the empty chair next to hers when she was absent at school, much to your dismay because you didn’t have anyone to sit with and you couldn’t catch up quick enough.
Thankfully, however, when Alice finally was present at school, she offered to lend you some of her notes so you could catch up on the school’s specific curriculum.
It had sparked up conversation, that’s for sure.
Even if it was only about the work, she was enjoying every second of it and couldn’t wait until the time you had a real conversation - outside of the topic of schoolwork.
Which was why, when you forgot to bring her detailed notes (and I mean detailed) to school one day, she jumped at the chance to talk to you again.
You’d apologised over and over, feeling so incredibly guilty over fact that you forgot her notes at home. And she remained unbothered because she never really needed those notes, though you didn't know that
And Alice being the good conversationalist she is, she was able to drag out conversations and turn them into where she got to learn more about you.
Quick and easy friends, you two became close in no time! (Which was exactly what she saw)
Meeting Jasper was much more harder.
You were in one of his classes, but he was no where near you. In fact, you’d been on the other side of the classroom.
It was both a blessing and a curse.
He was thankful that he didn’t have to risk being near you since he was already struggling with him, but he knew about all the fun times you and Alice were having and he was missing out!
Of course, it took a little longer for you to even realise he was in your class. He wasn't in for your first two weeks of school.
It not like you didn't realise he wasn't in your class, it was that the name didn't register in your name when the teacher would do the register at the beginning of every class.
You'd heard the name 'Jasper' and, therefore, the lack of the response. So, naturally, you didn't pay any attention to it. He wasn't in, you didn't know him and he was on the other side of the classroom.
However, when you did end up meeting Jasper, it was only because you needed to talk to Alice.
You didn't know many other people in your class, well, there wasn't many people that you enjoyed the company of - especially in comparison to Alice's.
You didn't enjoy the amount of attention that was brought to you being the new student in Forks, and you didn't like most of the people in the school, only because they were only interested in befriending you because all the students in Forks clearly grew up with each other.
Regardless, you needed help on an English assignment that you didn't understand and you saw that Alice understood (since you saw she was able to half complete it after a few days of it being set)
So, naturally, you went over and asked for help. The assignment was too confusing to wrap your head around, and you'd only been in that class for a little while and it was definitely not long enough to understand your teacher's rambles.
Alice was happy to help, obviously (who could have seen that happening her definitely)
Because she was standing beside Jasper when you came over, she invited you over to her house so that three of you could work on the homework you were given.
You had anxiously agreed, without a doubt overthinking how to act when at their house because you hadn't been over to someone else's house in years. What if there was some unspoken rule that you didn't know about?
Of course, going over their house was no problem at all!
What did you have to worry about? A room full of vampires? Haha, don't be absurd!
Anyway, the three of you head up to a room and got on with your school work.
Alice helped you with your English homework and sometimes played stupid so that Jasper could get involved as well, since - of course - you were his second mate as well.
It was safe to say that after that day, the three of you got pretty close. You started to walk to History with Jasper, while also walking to English with Alice.
Although Jasper's 'twin' sister didn't like you very much, for no reason that you knew of, you got on pretty well with the rest of Alice's and Jasper's foster family (aside from Edward, who would be in his extra emo phase without having Bella to meet)

Two Different Worlds (Jasper Hale Fanfiction) Chapter Two
Tumblr media
Word Count: 2,699
*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*
A chorus of grumbled profanities left my chapped lips as my hand searched blindly for my deafening alarm. Once the alarm was silenced, I groggily opened my eyes, rubbing the crusted sleep from my eyes as I did. Looking over to my clock I saw the time read 6:02am. A sense of anxiety began to fill my chest as I realized today would be my first day at my new high school.
It seemed childish to worry about something so trivial as going to a new school especially when I would only be here for the next few months. The typical 'what if I get lost' and 'what if no one likes me?' echo in my head regardless. Childish or not, I was still worried. Which is why I decided to get up so god-awfully early. To make the absolute best first impression I could, this was a small town after all. I'm sure whatever gossip spreads around about me is going to be based mainly on how today goes.
My body protested as I clamored out of bed, desperate for more rest. I didn't forfeit and go back to bed though, I dragged myself in the shower carrying my toiletries basket with me and grabbing two towels from the hallway closet on my way. I went through my typical shower routine, the mundane task did little to help wake me up. There was however a sense of comfort in the familiar tasks such as scrubbing my hair with my coconut-scented shampoo and washing my face with some bubbly cleanser Abbi had let me 'permeantly borrow'. Even tho I was across the country, some things were still the same. It was a pleasant reminder that they were still there for me, regardless of the distance.
As I left the shower I dried my hair to the best of my ability with the first of my two towels, wrapping the second securely around my frame. I made a mental note that I'd have to ask Bella if she brought our shared hair dryer. I rubbed some coconut oil into the length of my hair and combed through its length with my fingers. Moving onto my face I applied a sweet-scent moisturizer to my face. Lastly, I brushed my teeth for a solid three minutes and used Charlie's Spirimint mouthwash.
Once I felt properly cleaned, I made my way out of the bathroom, dropping my hair towel and dirty pajamas into the hallway hamper, and went back into my room. Good impression... Good impression... Repeated in my mind as I tore through my suitcases looking for something to wear. I threw my red corduroy pants onto my bed, then looked for a matching shirt. The weather in Forks was wildly different than in Arizona, so my shirt selection was limited. After about five minutes of my irritating search, I landed on my thick white sweater. The only sweater in my wardrobe; I mentally noted I may want to pick up a few extra shirts and pants the next time I was close to a department store.
--Ding Ding Ding
I heard the distant sound of Bella's alarm going off in her room, followed quickly by the muffled sluggish footsteps of her getting up to go use the restroom. Sparing a glance at my digital clock I saw it was already 7:20, meaning I had about an hour to do my makeup, and hair, and then eat before we had to be on our way to school.
I rustled through my bags again searching for a pair of socks, underwear, and bra, then swiftly got dressed. I took a seat in the old leather desk chair my father had bought me secondhand a few years ago, and started to apply my makeup. I am by no means a pro makeup artist so I settled for a little bit of concealer, lipgloss, light blush and highlighter, and some pink-tinted eyeshadow mixed with a light brown; dabbing a light dusting of the highlighter around the tear ducts of my eyes. As far as hair went, I never got very fancy with it, opting to quickly brush my hair out to ensure no knots, then slapping a scrunchie on my wrist just in case the wind proved to be too much today.
I grabbed my pair of dusty white sketchers with me, as I made my way out of my room. My dirty towel was left forgotten on my bedroom floor. I could hear Bella still getting ready in her room and decided I would make something for the both of us to eat before school. I clamored down the staircase and into the kitchen, as I browsed through the kitchen I realized I'd have to stop by the store sometime soon to stock up the Kitchen. Charlie seemingly had been living on scraps for god knows how long.
I placed two pieces of wheat bread into the toaster and pushed down the lever, then poured some slightly stale-looking Cheerios into two bowls and placed the milk on the table. I buttered the toast once it was done cooking and placed one piece in front of each of the bowls. As I poured milk into my bowl, I heard Bella's door slam open followed by the clumsy footsteps of her coming downstairs. She wore a simple green button-up shirt and grey long-sleeve ensemble, paired typically with a pair of dark skinny jeans. It wasn't anything fancy but it was very Bella.
"I made breakfast" I stated as she entered the Kitchen, "It's nothing fancy Dad doesn't have much." I finished before eating my meal, she hummed in agreement before sitting down silently and picking at the piece of toast.
"Should we go grocery shopping?" She asked, pouring the milk into her bowl.
"Yeah, probably," I answered before shoving a mouthful of cereal into my mouth. Once I swallowed I continued, "I have a half schedule here, since I completed most of my credits back in Arizona. If you don't mind I could take your truck once I am done, then pick some stuff up at the market."
She hummed in consideration, then nodded her head, "Yeah that'll work. Just don't take too long. I don't want to wait in this weather." She said, wrinkling her nose up in disgust.
"I'll be quick, don't worry."
We finished eating in silence, not an uncomfortable silence. This is how it was often like with Bella, she was always content to sit in silence. No need for unnecessary chit-chat.
Bella took both our dishes to the sink and started to speedily rinse them off. I took the time to check my back backpack and make sure everything I'd be needing was tucked away safely.
Books- Check. Notepad- Check. Pencil Pouch- Check. iPod- Check. Earbuds- Check.
I tucked my small flip phone in the side pocket, everything I'd need to survive the day. Neatly packed up, ready to go. As Bella came into the small hallway, she handed me a small wad of cash.
"From the grocery fund."
"Thanks."
We both put on our jackets, lugged our school bags onto our shoulders, and laced up of sneakers. She grabbed her new car keys off the small hook and opened the door for me. I nodded my head in thanks as we made our way out in the frigid early morning.
The drive to school went smoothly, her engine roared to life almost comically loud. Suddenly, I was thankful Charlie had gifted this old truck to Bella instead of me; I could feel the eyes turning towards us as we slowly drove by through the town. I'm surprised it didn't seem to make a difference to her, typically she hates having the attention drawn on her.
We made it to the school a lot quicker than we had expected. The school being on the other side of town didn't hold as much of a punch as it did back in Phoenix. It took us less than ten minutes to make it to Forks High. The parking lot was already busy and bustling full of students, all of whom turned their eyes to watch the unfamiliar old truck roll up; Alerted due to the sound of the engine.
Bella was quick to park in the nearest available space and shut off the engine. Her cheeks dusted a light pink-- Ah so the noise does bother her. A small smirk tugged at my lips, it was a tad cruel but it did seem fair. She gets a free car, she deserves a light sprinkling of public humiliation.
We made our way into the school office together, thankfully it wasn't hard to find. This school was not even a quarter the size of our old high school. The lady sitting at the front desk was a rather large woman, with big red hair; a few streaks of grey mixed into the wild web of hair. On top of her nose sat a pair of round glasses which seemed to shrink her already small eyes. On the desk in front of her lay a nameplate 'Shelly Cope'
"Well good morning, the Swan girls I presume?" She asked, her voice was sweet but had a certain stern edge to it. No doubt caused by her many years working with unruly teens.
"Yes ma'am," I answered for both of us, "We just needed to pick up our class schedules."
"I see, I see." She mumbled moving around a few papers on her desk. "Just give me a minute, dear. I know I had them around here somewhere..." She trailed off.
Me and Bella stood there awkwardly as she frantically searched through the mounds of paper littered across her desk. That familiar anxious thrumming of my heartbeat in my chest, I don't know why but a sense of extreme unease started to wash over me. It was making me nauseous.
"Here we go, girls!" Ms. Cope exclaimed lifting up two bundles of paper. "This one is for you Isabella." She stated holding out a piece of paper for Bella to grab. Bella made an unhappy noise at the use of her full name, but grabbed the paper regardless; mumbling a quiet thank you. "And this one is for you, dear," She handed me a stack of three papers. "You'll have a class schedule, a map of the school, and an attendance sheet. Please make sure your teachers sign the attendance sheet and then turn it back into me at the end of your classes." She finished, a genuine warm smile spreading across her face.
"Will do."
"No problem."
We both walked out of the office and looked at our class schedules. Both of us groaned when we were reminded of Forks High's most frustrating policy. Mandated Gym all four years. I could take some solace in the fact I only had three periods, and the last one I'd be able to go immediately home and shower-- assuming it was a particularly sweaty workout.
Bella peered over to my schedule and let out a sigh when she saw we shared no classes together. I put a reassuring arm around her should and dragged her away from the parking lot. "Don't worry, Bells. Time will fly by at school you'll hardly notice I'm gone." I joked, giving her shoulder a soft squeeze.
"I just thought it would be nice if at least you were in some of my classes, would be nice to not be completely alone."
It stung at my heart to hear the tone in her voice, maybe I could stay for her lunch period after my gym class. Make sure she wasn't wallowing in self pity by herself at lunch. "Don't stress about it to much, you dork. I'll come eat with you at lunch, how does that sound?"
"I guess that would be okay."
"See you then, Bells! Now let's get to class." I urged, and we parted ways. My first period was English with a Mr. Berty. Second Period was Trigonometry with Mr. Varner. Then lastly, Gym with Coach Clapp. I unfolded the map in my small stack paper and tried to pinpoint my first class. It didn't take me very long to find where I was supposed to go, the map seemed pretty straight forward. So on my way I went, following the map and the few signs scattered around the bustling halls.
As the minutes ticked by, the halls started to thin out and pretty soon I was alone in the long hallway staring down at the map that started to seem more and more complex as time went on. I swear the class should be right here, but as I looked through the windows of the classroom all I saw was vacant rooms. Stacked up chairs and desks in the corner. How the hell did I end up here?
"Are you lost?" A voice called from shockingly close behind me, an angelic voice that was captivatingly alluring. I turned to see who had spoken and my heart skipped a beat. A small frail looking girl stood in front of me, her short spikey hair perfectly framing her ungodly beautiful face accentuating her abnormally gold tinted eyes. A small sense of fear started to snake it's way through my body, causing confusion to swirl around in my head. I was only about 5'3 but I almost toward over this angel on earth, there was no reason for me to fear her; and yet here I was heart beating quickly, hands becoming more clammy by the second.
"Uhm," I cleared my throat, trying to push away my unease, "Well, yes. I thought this was the way to my English class but I seem to have gotten turned around somewhere." I explained sheepishly.
Her melodious laugh broke the awkward silence that had encapsulated us. "How perfect." She sung, clapping her small hands together, a genuine smile spreading across her face. "I was just heading there when I saw you wondering around over here. Why don't you walk with me?" She offered, beaming up at me.
"That's very kind of you," I smiled, her genuine kindness dissipated my unease, I motioned down the hall for her, "After you."
A small giggle escaped her mouth yet again, "That's the wrong way, Cali. We have to go back the way you came. You turned left when you should've gone right." She stated, grabbing my hand and leading me along with her. She was exuding such optimism I almost missed her used of my nickname.
"How did you know my name was Cali?" I asked, trying to pull my hand back to my side in skepticism, but her iron clad grip didn't weaken. Without missing a single beat she responded to my question, "Oh I suppose I got a bit ahead of myself." Her light skip towards the end of the hall slowed and she looked over at me as she continued, "I'm Alice Cullen, and trust me everyone knows about you and you sister Isabella. You've been the talk of the town." I cringed slightly at the thought of my dad running around talking about me, hopefully he didn't tell anyone anything to embarrassing. What she said covered everything, except one small detail. I could see her mouth twitch the second I opened my mouth to speak.
"How did you know I went by Cali though?" I pondered, noticing the smallest glint in her eye, "Most people call me by my first name Calliope, at least when we first meet." I explained, nervous I had upset her going off the look on her face.
Her face perked up within the second, quickly responding, "Well I wasn't positive but you don't look like the type to go by Calliope, call it a lucky guess."
"Ah I see, that's fair. Very lucky guess." Her face lit up and she picked up her quick skip as we neared the end of the empty hall, "You'll learn that about me pretty quickly, my dear. I make very lucky guesses." She sung before we stopped outside of a door, right as the bell rang. "Here it is."

Tumblr media
summary; alice finds out the trust about you.
warnings; swearing, a couple threats.
wc; 1.3k
notes; i will not be making a part 4 to this. do not ask.
If life somehow turns out the opposite of what you’re hoping for, and you end up teaching, then you’re going to make a vow to never hand out tests, ever. You get the purpose of them, it’s to test the information of what you’ve been learning for the past unit, but is it really necessary?
You’ve got high grades on all of the assignments so far, maybe a few questions marked off, but nothing that he should be genuinely concerned about. Besides, each time he calls on you in class, you know the answer to the question. It’s not like you sit there with a ‘yikes!’ facial expression, waiting for someone behind you to cough out the answer.
You think they should start giving tests to the students who aren’t passing the assignments but could ace a test, give them the chance to raise their grade. You guess that it doesn’t really work that way, though, does it? Normally the students are good at the homework and they fail the tests because it’s hard to be prepared when you’re put on the spot—weeks notice in advance or not.
Well, the least the teacher can do is lower the impact on grades. All you’re saying is: why should one test decide whether or not you pass or fail a class? Especially when you’ve been so good about homework and trying to study for the mini quizzes? Why should one test put you behind? It’s bullshit.
Unfortunately, all of that being said, you’ve got one of your first exams of the year coming up next week. This year, the teachers at Forks High School have decided to semi-band together and try not to schedule their exams on the same day if they can help it. It allows the students who benefit from cramming to actually succeed.
You used to be like that, a long time ago. Until you realized that if you start studying weeks in advance, by the time you reach the test, you’re prepared and the information is second nature, and not bobbing around on the top of your head. You wish you could’ve learned this trick a long time ago, probably would’ve saved a lot of tears.
You flip another page in the notebook, trying to read what you wrote a couple weeks ago, but you’re only skimming the sentences, absorbing half the information. You let out a sigh and roll over on your bed, staring at the ceiling for a moment. You need a break, just a few minutes will be better than sitting here struggling.
You slide off of the bed, stretching your arms above your head. Right as you let out a yawn, a tingling—almost tickling—sensation begins in your stomach. You let your arms fall to your sides, eyebrows twitching together, reaching for your bedroom door knob.
You hurry out, down the hall, and down the stairs. You’re home alone, for now. Your parents shouldn’t be back for another two hours, at the very least. And since they decided that you were enough of a handful, they never gave you any siblings. It’s a shame, you’re sure that you could’ve been bothering them instead of being responsible.
The tickling goes gut-wrenching as you swing the front door open, mouth screwed. You already know who it is before the door opens all the way. You can see her black sleeves, and then the sleeveless puffy white vest that she’s wearing—as if an outfit like that makes any sense in weather like this. You suppose that it doesn’t matter to her, though, she doesn’t feel the cold.
Alice Cullen stands on your porch, fist raised to knock on your door. She’s wearing an outfit that you’ve never seen her wear before, very in character. She and the rest of the Cullens seem to have an endless closet, and it never repeats. Makes you wonder where the used clothes go. Do they donate them in mass? That’s at least three-hundred and sixty-five outfits. At least.
“Alice.” You smile, “How are you? I haven’t seen you at school in a couple of days.”
She presses her lips together, nearly looking you up and down, “Can I come in?”
“Not really.” You shrug, “I can’t have friends over unless they’re approved by parents, if they even catch wind of it, I’ll be grounded forever.”
“It’ll only be a minute.” She tries to reason, taking a step forward.
“I said no.” You tell her, watching her face. You’re not afraid of her, or her persistence. You’re not moving from this doorway. You’re not going to invite her into your house.
She takes a deep breath, “Fine, I wanted to ask if you’ll stay away from Jasper. You’re causing problems between the two of us, I’m sure you understand.”
Your face twists, “Jasper and I are only friends. There’s nothing more between us beside that.”
“Regardless, it’s not coming off that way.” Alice squints at you, “You’ll find other friends at Forks, it’s not hard. Bella found friends easily.”
“Yes, she did, didn’t she?” You murmur, eyes wandering away from her face and onto the street, “A whole nest of vampires that call themselves vegetarians.”
Alice straightens stiffly, face smoothing out to become unreadable. You tilt your head at her slightly, wondering how much you should reveal to her. It truly was a coincidence that your parents wanted to move here to Forks, but it was a complete accident that you’d find Jasper again.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” She manages to get out.
“What, like it’s some sort of secret?” You muse, “You couldn’t be more obvious.”
It’s nice, watching Alice squirm in front of you. You’re sure that it’s not easy to get a vampire to do that. How they didn’t pick up on your questions to Jasper is a whole different story. Little details, allowing you to put the pieces together.
Honestly, when you first arrived, it was a whole new place. It wasn’t until Jasper noticed you, and insisted to stay and talk to get that bit of nostalgia, did your memories—very faded memories—begin to come back to you. Not quite in black and white, but it would’ve been appropriate for that time period.
It’s the way he would talk to you carefully, predict your movements before you made them, you knew he had something to do with your distant past. And when he said, “It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen her face” while avoiding your eyes, and he talks so specifically that it’s impossible not to pick up on.
Last week you meditated for the first time since you moved here, and the answers came to you slowly. Who you were back then, what you meant to Jasper. You vaguely remember seeing him at some point after you’d turned eighteen, but you were so distracted by the whirlwind that consumed your life. You died peacefully, and since you led a kind life, you were brought back here.
You were reincarnated to haunt a boy you’d lost several lifetimes ago.
You wish you could say that you felt strongly toward him. Maybe feelings of love or hatred or anything—it’s nothing more than friendship. If he feels some sort of other way, you’re not sure if you’ll feel the same way at all. It doesn’t mean that you won’t try, though.
And maybe in some capacity you feel bad for Alice. However, with her showing up on your doorstep, demanding that you leave Jasper alone, who is practically five times your age, then that is not a you problem, that’s a him problem. You’re not in control here, he is.
Alice has composed herself, you’ve closed the door another couple of inches, trying to signal to her that it’s time to go, “Listen, Alice, I have no interest in stealing your husband. If you’re concerned about it, you should talk to him.” You lean forward slightly. “And if you come to my doorstep again, trying to tell me how to live my life, I will ruin yours, understand?”

summary: This was his duty, a sort of memorial, for when the time came for his brother to fly back from his roost, he would be able to turn his head, robotically shaking from left to right, and pat him on the shoulder, to congratulate or console depending on the outcome. AO3
TW: vampire-done stalking, touching while asleep, jasper being creepy, allusions to violence/killing/vampire stuff
He watches her then, in the small dark hours between when she finally lets sleep take her and the exact moment her body stops pretending it has the will to survive that. All slumped over herself, hard sharp ends of bones lying over stiff concrete joints. She is freezing, while he watches. Freezing and sniffling and grinding her teeth together. She never screams anymore. Just the jerking and the breathing and the clawing at her poor yellow sheets. Her father had bought them in an attempt to stop her from clinging to the lilac ones, covered in the undead not-scent his brother had left behind. Yellow, like the sun, which she always watched rise, like he did her.
His sun. His yellow-brown sky.
He started by pressing his face to the glass— the tip of his nose, the purse of his cupids bow. Hard clear clinking against even harder stone, like wind chimes. It used to be enough— just a fraction closer to the poor wounded animal they had left behind. He had claimed (in his mind, there was no one here to speak to anymore, expect the boy who ran the newspaper route as he walked her street after she woke and the antique store clerk who sold him his button downs and boots), that this was his duty, that watching was a sort of memorial, for when the time came for his brother to fly back from his roost, he would be able to shake his head, robotically shaking from left to right, and pat him on the shoulder, to congratulate or console depending on the outcome.
The human would die, he knew, in fifty days or fifty years, like they all did—at least she would have him, to give report, to share her small frail little girl story with the other creatures who truly had wanted her dead, or alive, or somewhere impossibly in-between.
It was a duty. It was right. It was respectable.
Jasper Whitlock knew many things, all of which (but a few) he had learned over the two centuries he had been dead himself, all expect for a small handful the nineteen-year-old version of him (who was not yet grave dead) had stumbled across before the river and the blood.
Fear ruins the meat.
And Bella Swan was all meat. Tender girl meat.
--- He always started to press closer, inching his teeth to make contact with the morning dew that had collected since he was there last. With no breath to warm it, the enamel never left its mark, despite an animal inside of him that wished it to, once, twice.
Next a hand would fingertip grip the wood bracing of the structure, wrapping his nails around the slider, begging it to stay silent, as he slowly but surely, each inch a multitude of minutes inside of his mind, pushed it open, rough peeling paint coming away on his stone hands. He wouldn’t let out a breath until it had slid far enough to let his wrist pass through, a habit from his human days, his palm connecting with the soft brushed wood of the inside windowsill. If God saw him just then, if He had watched him all these nights, like Jasper once thought as a boy (and still occasionally as a grown man, unstomached), He would see a fang-sharp pull of lips, an unblinking stare, a focused desire. He would see madness, he was sure. He thought even he could see it himself, in the reflections of ponds, in dust covered mirrors.
The shoulder came next.
By the time he had slithered through the window and came to crouched on the floor, softly, always softly, the time had eroded. He had a measly hour, usually less, to haunt her air. To sit beside her, to touch—only sometimes, when he thought it worth it, if she had showered that night and her hair was still somehow wet with the stench of shampoos and conditioners, it haloed around her skull, like some prophet in a book about the end of days. In The Book. In this one.
Special nights. This was one. He almost smiled, like his heart was still with him.
He always comes to his feet rapidly, like he could induce a head-rush if he tried hard enough. His boots were clean, he checked before he had even climbed up, and his steps were soft on her large rug, a new addition, he noted. Jasper always kept watch of anything she’d like or would pretend to like. It was a hobby, one he never acted on, he swore. Soldier’s honor.
He was breathing room away from her now, as close as he had ever let himself, close enough to stroke a single finger down her wrist, or her nose, or the side of her neck, pale and glistening from the sweat. He wanted to lick it up, horrible creature he was. To find the underbelly of her taste, to judge the rest of her. She was beautiful and frightening like this, scrunched together, her breathing hard and loud between them. He had killed humans in more ease, lost in better dreams. It would almost be mercy to put her down here, and now, Carlisle would understand. Alice, she’d see it before he did it. She’d tell the rest, ready the pyre, be the one to detach him from the girl, to break his fingers. His wife. He had never looked at her like this, like he would let her rip out his fangs and stomp on them. Mayhaps she’d lick up the venom that poured from the wounds, kitten she was still. She always wanted to be more monstrous, he could give that to her, for a few moments. Before the fire.
But no, no killing, merciful or not, beautiful or not, him or her. He would sit, this time, sit on the very edge of the mattress and watch, maybe a small stroke of her hair or her shoulder. Yes, he had decided, calm projecting towards her frailness, her spine straightening and softening as he perched. His rose and laid itself on the apex of her thin neck, just over her pulse, locks of hair twisting between his knuckles. He was content to lay, stock-still, there and just there, with the heat of her leeching into his palm for the next forty or so minutes, however long she let him before her waking hours, before her mind won over his gift.
Forty minutes he did not have.
Her eyes scrunched and then peered open, his body still and cold as a small slice of panic ran through him, like war bells. He refused to move even a centimeter, hoping she would return to the sandman and believe him a dream. Her eyes only opened more fully, and stared back at him, as if she had willed him into existence and was trying to make sense of it without screaming. His hand tightened on her neck, ready to squeeze if she did choose to.
She stayed silent for many moments. Brows furrowing, lines appearing around every feature of her face. Every emotion he could feel, and none of them were fear, just his own, permeating.
Her lips parted and her hips slanted underneath her quilt, a hand coming slowly across it to lay gently over the ditch of his elbow, “Have you come back for me?”
Her lashes fluttered as his teeth parted his lips and he blew a chilly breath across her face, unmoving still.
“Have you come to kill me?”
Jasper rose his chin upwards and looked down at her with slanted, dark eyes, his hand slowly releasing its hold on her throat, instead allowing his thumb to rub over her pulse point, finding it slow and steady and much softer than anything he had heard from her the past weeks. Her own hand tightened on his arm, awaiting his sentencing. He was… startled.
The monster, quick and pink and hungry, always hungry, always howling, always craving flesh and blood and more flesh, rumbled through his skull like a battle cry outside the gates of a sacked city. He had not come to scare her, to throw her to the wolves, to crucify her and bring back her heart as a trophy.
Fear ruins the meat.
He shook his head, just slightly, and leaned close to her own, now just a breath away, her brown saucer eyes flicking between his forehead and chin, his hands and his teeth.
“I’ve come to save you.”
He had been right, Bella Swan was sweet, inside, and out.

MtF reader who is nervous about bottom surgery, (any depth) and so she starts to wander around the forest to work out the excess energy.
Jasper who's used to them pacing around the forest simply waits for them to go to the same spot they usually do. This time instead of letting them not talk about it he tells them they need to talk about it. Since she's so scared of surgery.
a/n: Okay, so I usually never write for fem readers (bc I’m a guy), but I thought this idea was super sweet. As a queer person myself, I really love the idea of the twilight vampires being accepting of queer people. I hope I did this ask justice, and to any trans people who are worried about hormones or surgery I hope this is comforting to y’all.
------------------------------------------------------------
comfort
mtf!reader x jasper hale (fluff)
words: 823
summary: you’ve been nervous about your upcoming bottom surgery for a while now, so Jasper, the concerned lover he is, makes sure to comfort you and talk you through every detail.
Tumblr media
Jasper sat atop one of the trees, waiting for any trace of her to alert him. It was no surprise when he smelled her familiar scent before he could even see her. This secluded spot in the forest was where she always went when she was feeling nervous. Jasper looked down to see her, the beautiful girl he’d grown to love so quickly, walking back and forth quickly as she mumbled to herself. Jasper jumped out of the tree, and in an instant, he was next to her.
“You scared me,” she said breathlessly with a red tint covering her face. He could feel her embarrassment, but more than that he could feel her nervousness.
“You seemed nervous, darlin’,” Jasper replied as he held one of her hands in his. “I wanted to check on you.”
“Don’t worry about it,” she said, brushing him off. “It’s nothing.”
“Seems like somethin’,” he said playfully, trying to lighten the mood. “You know you can tell me anything,” he said softly. She smiled at him and with shaky hands she brushed some of the hair away from his face. She let her hands fall back down to her sides, working up the courage to tell him what was really going on. Unbeknownst to her, Jasper was using his power in an attempt to make her feel calmer.
“I just need comfort, not advice. We don’t have to talk about it,” she assures him.
“Sweetheart,” he says softly, his southern accent pouring out, “I can comfort you too, but clearly somethin’ has been botherin’ you for days. We need to talk about it or it won’t get any better,” he tells her as gently as possible, trying not to work her up.
“I’m just worried about my surgery,” she says with a sigh, causing Jasper’s eyes to widen in surprise. Soon, she’d be undergoing bottom surgery, and she was so excited about it, but now it was clearly causing her a lot of stress.
“I thought you wanted the surgery?” Jasper asked, looking into her eyes.
“I do,” she responded hurriedly, “it’s just this is a big operation, and something could go wrong, or I might not be happy with the results, or maybe you won’t be happy with the results and-”
“Darlin’, I will love you no matter what,” Jasper said, cutting her anxious rambling off. “It doesn’t matter if you get the surgery, if you don’t, or how it turns out. Despite how much I love your body,” he says lightheartedly, grabbing a hold of her waist, “that’s not why I stay with you. I stay with you for this,” he says, tapping her temple with his index finger. “You have the most beautiful mind I’ve ever encountered in my 160 years.”
“So things will be the same between us even after my surgery?” She asks hopefully.
“Not exactly,” Jasper says, causing her smile to fade. She gives him a concerned look and he quickly elaborates, “there might be some new things I’d like to try in the bedroom,” he says with a wink, causing her whole face to go red.
“Oh knock it off,” she says, playfully pushing his chest away with her hand, causing him to pretend to be shocked, except he can’t stop smiling at her. “You aren’t worried about me getting hurt?” she asks him. “It’s a serious surgery, what if I die?”
“I know for a fact no one has ever died during bottom surgery,” he comforts, leaning in closer to her. “And even if that somehow did happen, Carlisle and I would rush right over to the hospital and turn you. Even death can’t save you from me,” he tells her jokingly, but they both know that Jasper really would do that for her. “Besides, Carlisle has been a surgeon for like a million years, so that should be comforting,” he informs her. She laughs as she places her head on his chest.
“This is comforting,” she responds.
“Perfect,” he responds, lightly kissing her on the top of the head after. She stays pressed up against his chest, and he begins to gently stroke her hair as they talk out some of the finer details of the surgery. Not only does he provide statistics about the surgery for logical comfort, but he also provides loving, emotional comfort. It’s clear Jasper won’t let anything bad happen to her. He’ll drive her to the hospital, hold her hand as she gets put under anesthesia, and as soon as the surgery is complete he’ll go back to her room and hold her hand while she wakes up. During the recovery process, he vows not to leave her side the entire time, even when she insists he doesn’t have to do that. She’s his whole world now and this surgery is just a small part of their story. Even if it’s scary, she can rest assured knowing nothing bad will happen to her.

Consider this a part 2 of Can't Escape the Nightmares cuz I keep getting ideas for this story 🙃
Pairing(s): Jasper Hale x Human!Reader, platonic!Rosalie Hale x Human!Reader
Warnings: mentions of past assault, mentions of past rape, noncon themes discussed, reader is jasper's mate, platonic!rosaliexreader, human!reader, nightmares, trauma, ptsd, dark content, mention of blood, brief mention of murder/death, hurt&comfort, ft the cullen fam, yes i'd like to sign up to be protected by rosalie ✋🏼, and my depressive ass could certainly use a man like jasper lol
Words: 1253
Summary: It was hard for you to be outside. Not after what happened. And with the Cullen house surrounded by a sea of towering trees. . . It was difficult for you to even step onto the wrap around porch. Everything about the outside reminded you of that day in the woods.
Tumblr media
They'd smelled your blood from miles away, noticing that it grew closer and closer until Rosalie was upon the doorstep with you dangling in her arms. Your eyes were open, though void of expression; merely staring at these near angelic looking family with gold hued eyes.
Your injuries were nothing major, yet your blood yanked at their olfactory senses.
And Jasper was helpless when, eyes being engulfed by jet black.
The expression in Rosalie's expression though kept him at bay.
"Get him out of here. He can't handle it." Rosalie snaps, her hold on you growing tighter.
Intently watching Jasper's every move, you see the rigidity of his frame and the back and forth sawing motion of his jaw. He must have ground his teeth to oblivion, at least that's what you thought.
Never imagining the true inner turmoil that was engulfing his every sensibility. Jasper's perpetually cold skin suddenly felt like it was on fire. A monster scratched at his mental door. A monster that wanted to taste every inch of your skin before sinking his straight, razor teeth into your delicate paper-like flesh.
"Jazz, snap out of it." Edward motions for Emmett to keep him back. His hiss is low as not to scare you further. Knowing all the horrors you had just gone through
The fog that reduced his head to a warm flush lifts enough for him to finally notice the state you were in.
Large splotches of red and rich purple are smattered across the entirety of your arms and legs, with a giant one blooming on your jaw. His stomach recoils at your lack of clothes. Connecting the visual clues together to realize what had happened and why Rosalie was dyed in a mess of different blood types that didn't belong to you.
You were already broken.
Suddenly that monster was silent, it too watching with baited breath as Rosalie carries you up the staircase and to Carlisle's office. The older blonde vampire quick and on her heels.
Jasper's monster seemed to take that moment to decide something that was against its very nature: it would protect you, guard you and keep you.
There will always be that hunger in him for your blood. But no longer would he be ruled by it.
When exhaustion finally swept over you, Jasper peeks his head into Carlisle's office. Rosalie sat on the floor in front of the couch you were asleep on.
She's in front of him in a flash, barring him entrance with a fatal snarl.
He dare not mess with this gold mama bear.
Tumblr media
It was hard for you to be outside. Not after what happened. And with the Cullen house surrounded by a sea of towering trees. . . It was difficult for you to even step onto the wrap around porch. Everything about the outside reminded you of-
"They can't hurt you again." Edward mentions behind you as you stood in the front door, hand quaking above the doorknob.
That didn't relive the nausea in your stomach. Your eyes shut tight and Edward winces when your mind immediately goes to the day that you were assaulted.
When you catch yourself you immediately apologize and take a step back. "S-sorry. I didn't mean to-"
"No, don't apologize." He's firm on this and finally you turn around. Surprisingly, the Cullens had understood the trauma you had gone through more than you would have thought. Every one of them had gone through a horrifying event much like your own. Rosalie's was almost identical to your's and possibly the very reason why she had saved you and killed those monsters who abducted you. And has protected you since then. She reminded you of a mother hen.
When Jasper first showed interest in you, Rosalie actually became aggressive toward him; telling him that you weren't ready for such a relationship. That you needed to heal more.
Jasper never stepped over any boundaries. He never came close to it. He waited. Helped you whenever you asked for it. Approached you tentatively until you told him that he didn't have to tiptoe around you. Many months were required before this. In the meantime you allowed Rosalie (and to a smaller extent, Alice and Esme) to tend to you and repair your fragmented body.
The only time he used his power on you without your permission was when you were asleep and suffering from your all too frequent nightmares.
"If you want, I can go outside with you. Maybe we can take a short walk around the house." He softly offers when you glance back at the door.
They were all so kind to you, never asking when you'd be ready to leave their house. It never came up. In fact you had the suspicion that Rosalie would insist on you living with them from now on. An unofficial part of the Cullen family.
You knew their secret. Living there, it didn't take long to discover that they were not human. From their perfect pale skin, to their golden eyes, there was something different about them. The way Edward was able to anticipate your every needs or how even being in the same room with Jasper had your anxiety simmering down. Even Alice displayed odd signs that you would have normally passed off as some kind of mental illness when she'd stare off into the distance. You now knew it was her getting a glimpse of the future.
"Thank you, but maybe today isn't the day. . ." You force your trembling lips to quirk up into a tentative smile though it could not fool Edward who could hear the inner turmoil in your mind. He never pushed.
He nods and lets you amble back upstairs to safety. The Cullens required no sleep so their bedrooms were essentially just for decoration. Rosalie and Emmett happily gave up their room so that you could seek out privacy when you were too overstimulated to be in their company. They even bought a tv just to put in the room for you. You didn't know what you did in your life to deserve them.
But before you go to your own designated room, you stop in front of Jasper's with a tentative hand raised to knock on his door. You were always nervous when asking him to hang out with you while Rosalie was gone. You'd heard Rosalie whisper to Emmett one night about you being Jasper's 'mate'. She must have thought you were fast asleep but you heard them discuss the possibility of a relationship between you and the other blonde Hale.
It made you self conscious now when you were near him. You'd known that he was. . . attracted to you.
You jump when his bedroom door opens to reveal his figure. "H-Hi."
His smile is always so sweet and even shy. "Hello."
"Um," Your fingers twist the hem of your shirt anxiously. " well, Rosalie is gone. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out for a little bit. . . Esme bought me a new dvd. We can watch it?"
Adoring the way his eyes crinkle when his smile broadens, you take a step back to allow Jasper to exit his room and close the door behind him. "Lead the way, ma'am." Your chest squeezes when that southern drawl of his comes out.
Trusting anyone again wasn't an easy journey. But being cradled by the Cullen family was bound to heal some wounds.
And perhaps water the seed of love that had been planted in your heart by Jasper.

past lovers - jasper hale x reader
Tumblr media
“i’ll find you” his words started to fade for you even more as you laid helplessly on his arms. “i swear i’ll find you” jasper desperately hugged your delicate body against his chest as he let the tears fall from his red eyes. “please, forgive me” his voice broke once again while repeatedly asking for your forgiveness. jasper looked down at you and his hand tenderly caressed your cheek one last time before you closed your eyes forever.

.......................................................
Jasper sat in the bed placed in his room, his mate resting her back against his chest. His arms were wrapped around her waist and his face found its way into her hair. Her hands were placed on top of his on her waist, relishing in the feeling of comfort he gave her.
They were a strange pair, the two. The bloodthirsty vampire fighting his instincts to feed and the helpless human girl who wouldn’t be able to fight him if she tried.
But she trusted him with her whole heart. It had been hard at first. She had to marinate in the knowledge of the existence of vampires, and he suffered the constant smell of her sweet scent, calling out to him every second.
It was so hard for him, even on a good day. Her smell of her blood always drew him in.
The only thing holding him back from draining her was the feeling he knew he wouldn’t fight the minute her body became lifeless: dread.
But now, they laid in each other’s arms in complete trust.
Her hand wandered up his forearm, stopping at the unevenness of his skin. She looked down, pulling his sleeve up briefly.
Bite marks and scratches laid all up and down his forearm. She didn’t want to know how far up his arm it went, thankful for the sleeve.
She felt him shift. He felt uncomfortable. Scared of her reaction. But above all else, he cared for her. She could practically feel his gift poking at her emotions, intertwining them with his. A sense of calmness fell over the two of them before words could form.
Her hand still laid against his arm gently, her thumb brushing one of the bites to comfort him in her own way.
She felt his head move away from hers, leaning back against the bed frame. She used this opportunity to turn in his grip, now facing him. Once there, she pulled his arm into her lap, her eyes inspecting the scars in front of her.
He simply watched. He couldn’t hide them, and he would never lie. Not to her. So, he simply sat there to let her ask him or draw her own conclusions.
She finally looked up, her eyes locking on his. She’s thankful of his gift, because otherwise, she may have been teary-eyed. “T….Tell me, Jasper?”
His eyes softened. God, she was so good to him. So perfect. So innocent and pure. Everything he knew he wasn’t.
Her blood would be so easy to take. The feeling of adrenaline would be worth the-
“It’s… a long story, Princess. I don’t think you wanna hear it.”
She was visibly hurt by his answer, her hand retreating from his. “Oh. I… I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to pry… I just… just thought…”
He chuckles to himself, teasing her, “Thought what, Princess? You really wanna know?”
She nods, her eyes glossy, holding an unreadable expression.
He sighs. He wanted to hold off from telling her this. That was his plan. But now, she had ruined the perfect plan in his head. Not that he could be mad at her. His heart couldn’t do that.
He pulls his sleeve up his other arm, showing her the scarring. “D’you know much about the Civil War, Darlin’?”
She nods, her eyes never leaving his forearm.
He smiles, “Good girl. Knew you would.” He took a deep breath, not that he needed to, but it allowed him to collect himself and decide what to say. “I was turned during the Civil War. A woman named Maria convinced me to help her train a vampire army. I was foolish and naive. I thought she was doing the right thing.”
He looked up at her to gauge her reaction. She simply stared at the scars, her head low in thought. He took this as a sign to continue.
“You know.. I was, uh, a major, in the war?”
Her head perked up at that, her eyes meeting his. “A..a major?”
He smirked, “Yeah. Major Jasper Whitlock.” As he said so, she felt a wave of pride come from his body. She didn’t need Jasper’s gifts to sense it, for it had come so plain.
He continued, “I trained them myself. Her army, I mean. I know you don’t know much about us, but newborn vampires are more dangerous. More deadly. They’re stronger than most.” As he said this, she could feel his tone becoming sharper.
“Stronger than Emmett?”
He nods, “Yes, Princess. Much stronger. You stay away from a newborn.” It had meant to be advice, but it came out a demand. “They’re more deadly than you can imagine. I’ve watched them do…” his eyes look off in thought, “…unspeakable things…”
A small silence overtakes them before she breaks it. “And you trained them?”
His eyes quickly move back to hers, the amber color glowing, “Yes, ma’am.”
“How?”
“Not easily. They don’t take too well, as you can see,” he said, his head motioning forward at his arms. “I punished them, too. Killed them when they got out of hand or weren’t what we needed.”
He feared to look up at her, but he couldn’t resist. Her gaze was on the window. He didn’t often wish for a gift different than his, but at this moment, he wished he could read her mind. See what was going on in that lovely little human brain of hers. But he couldn’t. He sensed she wasn’t distressed. He had to see her eyes to be sure. Not for his gift’s sake, but for his own. His hand outstretched to grab her jaw gently, pulling it towards his own. “Are you scared of me?”
Her eyes catch his, their faces a foot apart. “…Sh…should I be, Jasper?”
He considers her question quickly with a nod, his voice low. “Really fucking scared.”
She blinks at his wording, her brain struggling to comprehend everything in front of her.
He wanted to joke, take the dark mood away, but he knew this was serious. “I killed before this,” he gestured to himself, “I killed during this…. I’ll probably have to kill sometime after this. I’ve murdered many with no remorse, their bodies laying at my feet. Innocent lives and murders, too. I overpowered the strongest vampires with ease, ending them mercilessly. My heart holds no mercy. So, I’ll ask again. Are you scared of me?”
She wasn’t sure what to think. She couldn’t put it into words. Was she scared? She supposed so. Any sane person would be. But she trusted him. She trusted him. She trusted him. “You… You won’t hurt me, Jasper.”
He wanted to laugh at her sweet response. How naive of his little lamb. She said it so sure of herself. Of him. She didn’t know of the constant, deep thirst of blood he fought back every time their eyes met. She didn’t know of the pain he felt when she parted from him. She didn’t know of the horrors he had endured. And most importantly, she would never understand the terrors he had caused.
“You don’t know that, Princess.”
She took a quick breath in at his response. Every reasonable thought she ever had was gone. She should run. She should hide. But she didn’t. She wouldn’t. Her body remained here, on the vampire’s bed, his hand gripping her jaw while staring at her like she was prey. Every reasonable thought was gone.
She reached her hand up to place on top of his on her jaw, flinching at the cold feeling of his skin on hers. “You won’t, Jasper.” She began to even sound confident.
He smiled at her, his sharp teeth peeking out. This girl believes in him that much. What a stupid girl. Too trusting. Too hopeful. Too pretty. Too good. Too perfect. He could absolutely ruin her. But he wouldn’t. “C’mon, Princess. Admit you’re a little afraid.” He needed to hear her say it.
Her hand gripped his, pushing it down her jaw lightly until it rested over her throat. His hand now wrapped around her neck, her hand lightly resting on his.
He was speechless at her touches. Her movements. Her willingness. Her loyalty to him. His eyes stare at his own hand, admiring the view in front of him. Her hopeful eyes staring into his while his hand rested above her only source of oxygen. It was intimate. It was scary. It was perfect. She was perfect.
His thumb brushed her throat lightly, feeling her heartbeat quicken at his touch. He could practically feel the blood running through her veins. And she trusted him still.
They sat there in silence for a while, simply admiring the other.
She was perfect. Too innocent for her own good, but so loyal and willing for him. Her pretty face was the perfect view for him. He could stare at it until the end of his days. And she trusted him with her life.
She trusted him with the one thing his body thirst to destroy. And he loved her all the more for it.
He was strong. Resilient. An open book for her to read at her leisure. Protective was a word she was familiar with. She felt like his arms were the only thing she needed to live in the world. She trusted him with her life.
His other arm moved up her body, his hand getting lost in the hair on the back of her head. He pushes her forward, capturing her lips in his.
The hand on her neck stayed. But it never twitched.
They pulled away from each other to let her catch her breath. Their faces were close as they tried to think of the right words to say.
“You’re not afraid of me.”
It wasn’t a question, it was a statement. She wasn’t afraid of him.

The Second Mate (Snippet)
This is a lil trailer to the twilight fic i'm writing cuz twilight rules and haters drool. Let me know what you think!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Are you sure we’re meeting her today?” Asked Emmet, who was excited but suspicious he would finally be meeting his second mate after waiting nearly 70 years. Rosalie, on the other hand, was anything but excited. She did not like the thought of sharing her only mate to a puny little human girl. She frowned.
“Yes! Stop hounding me, I saw it happen, you’ll meet her today!” Alice being Alice didn’t really mind sharing hers. She was actually kind of excited too.
“Are you sure?”
“YES, EMMET!”
Jasper, however, wasn’t sure what to expect today. He too had waited for nearly 70 years for his second mate alas he was more apprehensive then excited. He was scared. She was human and humans were fragile little things. What if he broke your hand while trying to hold it, or finally broke his streak and ate you?
“You’ll be fine” declared Edward. The little asshole couldn’t help listening his  thoughts.
Jasper ignored his brother and gave a big sigh. He followed the rest of his siblings to their cars that would be taking them to school today; Rosalie’s red Cadillac and Edward’s silver Volvo.
The ride to school was terrible. Though at least Emmet was happy. Jasper could feel his giddiness. He kept hounding Alice questions about their mate except he didn’t allow her to answer any of them.
“How does she look like?”
“Is she short, or tall?”
“Is she a blonde or a brunette?”
“Will she like us?”
“Do you think I’m her type?”
“When will we meet her again?”
 “SHUT UP, EMMET!”
