“Invasions Of The Mind” was released on this day in 2008. I can’t believe it’s been 9 years, and that the 10th anniversary of this record will be one year from today. I am still very proud of this record, and am glad that it was a lot of people’s first introduction to my music. Thank you to everyone who has ever purchased, streamed, or connected with this album in any way over the years. When I listen back to it, I hear the sounds of a very young, and inexperienced version of myself embarking on what would end up being the single most important journey of my life. While “Punch The Clock” may technically have been Energy’s first record, this is where the band really started to come into our own artistically and began to shift into what we would eventually become. #thisenergy #jasontankerley #invasionsofthemind

I really don’t want my modeling to take a complete backset to my music career now that things are going well for me in that area of life, so I’m going to try to be more proactive about doing shoots in my “spare” time.

#tbt This was how @sunkthunder and I first started distributing the “Children Of The Night” material back in 2006. Inside this CDR came a lyric sheet, and I believe the track list varied from copy to copy. Some of these may or may not have included acoustic Misfits covers recorded during the same time period, using the same equipment and recording techniques.
