• When he first meets you he probably won’t pay much mind to you being around it gives you much attention other than sarcasm and a free rude comments until he realises you’re not exactly like the popular girls he resents so much. Afterwards he’ll enjoy your company, but it’ll usually come with him being quite cryptic or manipulative while he’s still with Veronica.

• He might get a bit suspicious of you if he notices you giving him and Veronica a bit more of your attention than the average person does. The glances you give the two of them will definitely be noticed. JD wouldn't see this as a good thing though, and would probably approach you about it with some kind of threat or do something in retaliation to try and make you avoid them.

• Once he notices that you’re actually turning to come between him and Veronica, he’s going to absolutely love it. At first he thought the attention was a bit strange, but now he’s got you and her bidding for his attention and it’s the first time in his life that he’s being given options on who to pick.

• The more manipulative the better, he adores seeing someone be just as toxic as he can be. If you’re being manipulative he’ll catch on pretty quick, but most of the time he’ll stop do what you want just because he’s been looking for someone likes that and like himself for so long.

• As you become more obsessed over him the more he’ll start to reciprocate, until finally he’s practically replaced Veronica with you. If you manage to grab all of his attention and show that you’re more like him than Veronica ever will be, then he’ll easily cast her aside and be with you no matter how upset she is.

• He's realised that you're probably going to do a lot of what he asks you to, and whatever plan he makes you'll be encouraging it. Since this is the case, he'll even encourage you to get involved in the planning too, making you both just as guilty as each other.

• Every little thing that he does will be a way for him to take advantage of your feelings, even if you think that it's the other way around. JD has experience manipulating people, so he's pretty much always a step ahead of you no matter how bad your yandere tendencies might be.

A/N: a little late on this but better now than never! happy holidays my loves (tried to keep the headcanons vague so you could imagine a variety of winter holidays in here, but i'm sorry if it's still christmas centric, honey, that's what i celebrate and so i tend to get carried away with it)

It will be a hard sell to get him to enjoy the holidays with you. I won't lie to you. The reason? Besides the fact that he thinks he's too cool for the holidays, they bring up a lot of.... undealt with feelings regarding his own family. You might be tempted to let him grump it out because that will be easier. Resist! He wants you to pull him from his totally-not-seasonal-depression into holiday bliss with you. He just wants you to earn it.

So put on your working boots and get to it. Drag him into tradition, decorate the house, fill it with the smell of well-cooked food. Eventually, the cheer and vigor with which you do everything will get to him. He'll begrudgingly join in and find himself enjoying the holidays for the first time in years.

Pick one battle at a time and leave the roadblock of celebrating with your family for next year's holiday season. Trust me.

josh washington:

Polar opposite of Billy. He loves the holidays. All of the holidays! He's incredibly happy to spend them with you, no matter how many years you've spent them together before. Each year feels special to him, in the corniest way possible.

The biggest problem during the holiday season is deciding who you'll be celebrating with. Are you going to party with mutual friends this year? Go to his family's house or yours? Everyone wants to see you two during the holidays. You're everyone's favorite couple.

You two sometimes stretch yourselves a little thin, practically promising to be in two places at once! While that can add stress to the most magical time of the year, you try and relax and focus on what really matters in your few moments of downtime: each other.

Stu isn't one for traditional holidays at home with the family because that's never how he spent his growing up. The holidays meant trips around the world to far-off places. He doesn't want to give that up now that you're together. In fact, he wants to travel even more, especially if you aren't well-traveled.

The holidays for Stu are synonymous with adventure. If you humor him, he'll make it worth your while and let you pick the location of your trip. The best part is, no matter how expensive the trip gets, he pays for the whole thing.

His family has the money. Why not spend it? Actually, the best part is one of his love languages, as a rich boy, is gift-giving... and he does not consider paying for the holiday vacation his holiday gift to you. You're getting that expensive vacation plus a boatload of gifts under the Christmas tree. He knows how to spoil his partner when he wants to, that's for sure.

jd/jason dean:

Is completely willing to spend the holidays with your family (but I cannot stress this enough); do not take him home to celebrate with your family unless you have a perfect relationship with every single member. He will sense discord in relationships and he will choose to say the tiniest remark perfect for igniting holiday chaos and discontent.

Why? He couldn't tell you why. Maybe chaos is more fun than holiday harmony. When he senses a problem, his instinct is to dig into that problem to find its source. It's an addiction of his.

Other than that, during the holidays, instead of succumbing to melancholy over the past, he strives to make your time together as sweet as possible. He goes along with tradition with minimal cynical commentary and enjoys the happiness the holidays bring you. If you're content, he's content.

As disrespectfully as possible, he hates the holidays and hates that you want to celebrate them. Any of them. The more you push, the more irritated he becomes.

Everything about the holidays highlights all the parts of society he finds most unpalatable. The fake cheer people greet each other with. Consumerism. The vigor with which they adore and worship their religious figures. It all makes him sick.

Still... there is a certain glow about you around this time of year. So when you ask him to do things, he goes along with your inane wishes with gritted teeth holding back the venomous words he wants so badly to say (do you have any idea how much he holds back for your sake?) Compliance is truly the best gift you can receive from Kevin any time of year.

nathan prescott:

Before you, he'd spend most of his holidays under the influence of whatever substance he could get his hands on first. He's slowed down on the abuse of most things since being with you. Still, the holidays are no walk in the park for him.

There's no way you'll spend the holidays with his family, even if his father "requested" his presence. He'd break his own leg to keep from having to look his father in the eye.

When you bring up the possibility of spending the holidays with your family, he's a little upset, he wanted to spend the holidays with you. When you clarify that you meant the two of you spending time with your family... well, he had a small panic attack, admittedly.

No matter how much you reassure him that everything will be fine, nothing helps until he actually meets your family and is warmly received. He'll be a little awkward the entire time, but the sheer warmth of love coming from everyone around him is enough to make him cry. Come next year it will be Nathan who suggests spending the holidays with your family again.

To Sebastian, the holidays means receiving a few very expensive (but ultimately quite meaningless) gifts from his father which he reciprocates and then going back to pretending, like neither the holidays nor his father, exist. Cold? Certainly. Sad? Absolutely. But that's how it's always been.

If there was ever a Christmas full of love, it happened before he could remember, so it might as well have never happened at all.

Now you're here and things are different. There's a buzz in the air this time of year. You talk, you dance, you cook, you smile. You do everything together, attached at the hip. You drag him to spend time with your family and even that is tolerable, and Sebastian hates spending time with anyone's family (even yours.)

Being with you has been blissful, even with everything you had to overcome to be happy with one another. How well the holidays went will cement the knowledge in his head that you're what's it for him. You're what he wants, for now and always.

In a short time, against the odds (the odds being Ben's award-winning personality), you've become friends. Maybe even a weird, two-person family. Except he's pretty sure most families don't have the suffocating amount of sexual tension you do.

You've kissed before. Under the light of a dying universe, when you were pretty sure you were both going to cease to exist. You opened up to each other that night. But then there was the stress of... kinda saving the world? And then you wound up in this new, broken, strange one. You haven't talked about the kiss since.

He feels like he's going crazy.

Especially because you live together. He's not sure why he insisted on moving in together (because he's in love with you? because he's never lived alone before? because he misses his family?) but he did. And now, having made it through all the holidays relatively emotionally distant and unscathed, you have the nerve to be laid up against him, staring up at him with big, drooping eyes waiting for midnight to hit on New Years Eve, and you ask him if he misses his family.

Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?

JD takes jealousy, and everything he does in general, to extremes. He’s clingy and demands attention and understanding, and if his darling dares show affection toward someone else, he’ll snap. Darling has to walk on egg shells constantly just to keep his temper and jealousy in check because he will lash out and attempt to kill the other person in question if left unattended. He’d even go so far as to explicitly detail every step of the process to his darling to instill fear and fealty within them.

He can’t risk losing his darling just like his father lost mother, and if constantly being on the run is the only way to ensure that, JD will do anything if it means having even a few extra days with his beloved.

Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

Murder. The boy is willing to blow up an entire school of innocent people just to prove a point, so he sure as hell won’t shy away from hurting or outright killing those closest or dear to his darling. ✨He notices you in the cafeteria when your eating lunch with your friend Martha Dunnstock.

✨The Heathers has been relentless in teasing you and your friend recently and they’d just started making a beeline to your table where the two of you were eating.

✨Heather Chandler snears down at you and lays into you, making fun of your insecurities, whether they be something physical, mental or emotional.

✨You can feel the shame bright red on your face for everyone to see, and when Martha tries to stand up for you softly. However, now Heather’s diatribe is directed towards her.

✨Just as it seems things are coming to a boiling point and Martha is about to burst into tears, J.D. comes to both your rescue. He quietly takes her down piece by piece with his words. It’s so softly spoken that you can’t make out what he’s actually saying.

✨Heather gives JD a scathing look before turning on her heels and walks away with the other Heathers in toe.

✨Your a little shocked that she seemed to give up so easily. However, all is quickly forgotten when your eyes meet his, and JD fixes you with one of his winning smiles. You have started to fall into his web.

✨From now on you’ve entered dangerous territory. JD’s courtship style isn’t quite like most yandere’s. He’s gonna take his time manipulating you into his arms.

✨ Once your in too deep with JD, completely under his spell, he'll manipulate you into commiting much more dangerous lethal crimes, like poisoning the punch at a house party leaving three teens dead and more minorly or critically injured. He'll want to make you kill for him and for yourself, going after the Heather's much like Veronica did.

✨However, if you decide murder is too far and try to pull away, JD will react very badly.

✨He loves you, but that doesn't mean you can't be expendable in his eyes. He'll of course try to get you to come back to his way of things through manipulation, then threats to you, and finally threats to your family and loved ones.

✨If none of this works, then he'll have to painstakingly go to his last resort. If your lucky you might escape his clutches, but if you don't they will never find your body.

(Yandere) Papas + Copia: A Singing S/O

Okay, I know this is way further along in my asks queue, but the yandere bug bit me something fierce today, so I’m gonna go ahead and give you some nonsense right now. This is the yandere version of this ask! ...and some general yandere headcanons for them, too. 

TW: +18, Obsession, Mindbreak, General yandere nonsense. I don’t condone any of this behavior IRL, and neither should you.

Papa Nihil:

He visits you every day, and you’ve learned the hard way just what he expects from you when he comes to see you. He expects you happy, smiling, docile, and to thank him for the new gifts he brings you. 

You screamed and cursed and even threw things at him the first few times, but that only made him frown sadly and shake his head. He’s given you everything in the world, and here you are acting like an ungrateful child? 

The pleading to be let go makes him sad, too. He explains it patiently time and time again while you sit there in tears. “Bambolina, you must understand. It’s dangerous out there. This is the only way I can protect you. Papa will protect you.”

Sister Imperator starves you when you act out. Or keeps Nihil from seeing you, leaving you isolated from all human contact. The last one actually upsets Nihil, who doesn’t want to be apart from you! But Imperator chides him for being soft. 

“It’s the only way they’ll learn, Papa. If not the carrot, then the stick.”

....Nihil can’t deny he relishes the way you cling to him when he comes to see you after a long period of absence...

Okay, but that last sentence in your ask, Anon? You hit the nail on the head for Nihil’s reaction. He overhears you singing one day from your room, forlorn in your pretty new clothes and sitting on your bed, and is absolutely overjoyed. His little songbird! 

And what was once a coping mechanism for you becomes yet another nail in your coffin. If he asks you to sing for him, you will sing for him. His darling little marionette. 

It’s especially bad when he’s in a bad mood and more likely to get upset with you. The ‘angry dragon and captive princess’ metaphor becomes all too real here. 

Papa I: 

He feels blessed by the Dark Lord that His avatar would have such a beautiful voice, and thanks Him for it.

Actually, this yandere’s reaction is pretty similar to how normal Papa I reacts. 

Only he’s a little more forceful when insisting you join the choir! “We are lacking strong voices for Lucifer’s praise, my child. You would be doing us a kindness by leading the service tonight. ...you would be doing me a kindness...”

When he’s ‘not feeling well’ (aka acting more feeble than he really is to keep you near), he’ll request you sing for him. 

Papa II (MINDBREAK):

His infernal obsession with you only grows stronger. 

He doesn’t ask to train your voice. He just tells you he’s going to. At this point, you’re too broken to care and would do anything for your Papa to please him.

His strict vocal regimen becomes just another set of rules in the many you live your life by. When the two of you return to his quarters for the evening after the day’s duties are done, that is when you begin.

It turns into something out of the Phantom of the Opera. Your voice would blossom into something beautiful, if only because he’s tended it so well. He’s even more adamant on keeping it to himself. You are forbidden to sing if anyone else is in the room, and he will punish you if you break that rule. 

“Sing, my fallen angel. Sing for your Papa.”

Papa III:

He’s a musical yandere, too! 

But instead of Erik, he’s more like Jason Dean from Heathers. 

The pair of you will watch the musical and he gets so excited. He’ll point out J.D. and Veronica. “Look, tesoro! It’s us! Haha!” You laugh nervously along with him. That....that’s not a good thing, III....

He’s very adamant on you joining him for singing practice! He has so many duets that the pair of you can sing together, carina. Please? Oh, you’ll sound so good with him! 

He wouldn’t outright forbid you from singing for anyone else, but you can bet he’d get huffy if he hears you singing when other people are around. Why will you sing with them and not him? Don’t you love him??

Surprisingly, this gives you a means of defense against him if he’s angry at you or having another meltdown. Start singing Seventeen or any other romantic duet to him and he’ll stare in surprise at you...before slowly joining in, taking your hands in his.

Singing helps you calm the beast in him. Who would’ve thought? 

Cardinal Copia: 

He’s furnished a little cell in the dungeons for you. A comfortable bed, a table and chair, and nothing else. He’s sent gifts to you, but you end up breaking or throwing them away. Your food is cooked and brought by him, and your door is guarded by one of Copia’s ghouls. 

The walls are soundproofed. No one can hear you screaming down here. 

The Cardinal doesn’t visit you very often in the beginning. It’s not him intentionally trying to break you, it’s just that he’s ashamed to be anywhere near you after what he’s done. 

Seeing your hurt, tearful expression, listening to you beg him to let you go....it breaks his heart. This isn’t how he wanted you. Oh, how you hate him. 

That’s fine. He hates him, too. 

And when he’s standing outside your door, listening to your sad, beautiful voice sing, he slumps against the door, sliding down until he’s sitting, burying his face in his hands and weeping. 

How did it come to this?
