The Disputation on the Power and Efficacy of Headcanons

I'm not back, I'm just rising briefly from the dead to nail this to the door before I go back to sleep.

The Ministry is a cult. An evil cult. Dedicated to taking over the world through their music. The higher-ups don't care about the people they look out for, only caring about spreading their influence and growing the brand. They welcome new members, but the kindness they show is only based on bringing new members to the cult.

The Papa who gets the most ass is Papa I.

The Papa who gets the least ass is Papa Nihil.

The most devout to least devout are in this order: Papa III, Papa I, Copia, Papa Nihil, Papa II.

If you try to suck Papa III off while he's giving a sermon or busy with other church activities, he's going to get irritated because he's in his groove and doesn't want you interrupting that. Paw at him later!

Nihil was never a good father.

The only reason they don't do human sacrifices anymore is that they're a lot more high profile and can't get away with it now in the age of smartphones and social media.

Papa III waited years for his chance at papacy, and never quite recovered after having it ripped away from him.

Copia has always resented Nihil and his brood, and nothing that's happened has changed that. He is glad they are dead.

@ghostheadcanons once said in her vampire hcs that papa I would be the chill vampire who doesnt go out and antagonize and I would like to bring to the table - lost tourist who gets caught in a downpour while hiking trying to find some ruins. Ends up at a real castle and hopes that the museum staff are still there... oh shit it's a person in a mask. Someone...? Actually lives here?? In a really unorthodox fashion you're brought to this sweeping library... and the person who owns all this.

And this old man who looks a little strange and acts a little strange says you can stay for the night. After all, it's dangerous out. You're fortunate to have made it here! He has his servants take you to a room to clean up and sleep.

But... its impossible to sleep. If it wasnt for the time difference back home, it was the weird as hell situation. Peeking through the shutters of the window revealed a terrible storm. You don't want to wander around and cause trouble but- its boring in this room, your phone has long since died, and when were you going to be in a castle like this again with somewhat free reign?

With jacket wrapped around you, you gently pad out your room and explore the halls. Surely your host and everyone is asleep. The castle is decorated with so many paintings and tapestries, all in splendid condition given how old they probably were. Originally you looked for ruins to see historical sights but this alone... one tapestry in particular draws you near. It's a portrait of a garden with golden moths. Vibrant colors bloom across the cloth with glitters of the golden thread. It practically stole your breathe away.

A voice creeps behind you, "I like that one, too."

Once you're finished jumping out of your skin, papa I apologizes with a smile. In the corner of his mouth you could see his the definition of his canines. How much longer and sharper they were than yours. He explained that he seen you walking and at first wanted to see if youd needed anything. But you were so entranced by the art he had collected that he didn't want to ruin your focus.

Turned out he was a night person too! You had actually caught him in his active hours. When you're as old as he is, he joked, you could keep whatever hours you liked. Something about him was so warm and friendly and... comforting. And when you talk about artwork and history, his eyes light up. He has all this knowledge that you would expect from a textbook or someone in the field for... way too long.

The night was practically enchanting and you almost didnt want it to end until you tripped, landing hands and knees first onto stone. It wasn't terrible, youd experienced worse, except your hand. It had hit something on the way down, various scrapes of blood pooling in the palm. You weren't squeamish but something inside you ran cold with the way he suddenly looked at your hand. Hungry.

He pulled you up by the arm, his thumb grazing across the wound. The blood he dragged disappeared on his tongue.

"You're hurting me..." was all you could manage.

His eyes clicked to yours and it was like a spell was broken.

He pushed himself away, "I'm- I apologize. That was... Please, go back to your room. Leave in the morning when the storm clears."

Something about him was so sad. So hurt. It made you want to reach out, but fear overwhelmed you. You ran back to your room and blocked the door. You were gone soon after sunrise. No one showed you out.

In a vampires sleep, he kissed your hand and tasted you. You craned your neck to allow his lips and his bite. His hands were allowed to roam your body and he could hear your cries and moans against him. Oh, in his dreams how you wanted him.

But when he awoke you were gone.

Papas + Copia: Dental Headcanons

It’s been a little rough going, guys. So I figured I’d just write down a few headcanons that have been knocking around my skull about the clergy’s teeth!

Papa Nihil still has a completely full, healthy set of chompers! Demon blood has its perks, and one of them is strong teeth. He’s never had a dentist appointment in his life and he eats Werther’s Originals like no tomorrow, and yet somehow he’s never had a single cavity. 

Papa I has had his fair share of cavities, in spite of his careful brushing habits. Fortunately for him, he’s relatively easy to numb--he makes his own anesthetic, a mixture of herbs and magic, and goes right to sleep when he’s being worked on. 

Papa II...is not easy to numb. At all. He’s had quite a few cavities, but when they try to offer him novocaine, he just shakes his head. “Just get it over with.” He’s destroyed more than one dentist’s chair because he gripped the armrests hard enough to break them. III thinks he’s just being a show-off. 

Papa III is actually very nervous about going to the dentist’s. People fiddling around with his teeth is one of the few things that scare him, and he’s just as hard to numb as his older brother--he can always feel the drill. With all the candy he eats, he gets cavities easily. He makes jokes and tries to lighten the mood, but you can tell he’s anxious. You have to come in with him and hold his hand while they’re looking him over/giving him his fillings. Be prepared to have your hand squeezed very tightly. And he always demands something out of the prize chest.

Copia takes very good care of his teeth, and he’s actually not all that nervous when he goes in to have them looked at. Sure, he gets cavities, but he just sighs and wants to get them over with.

Nameless Ghouls: Getting To Know You

Ah, young love~! I believe I’ve already gone into a little bit of detail about ghouls and courting, but that ask was more under the assumption that the two of you are already an item. I think it would be a little different if they’d just met you and would like to get to know you more. 

Aether has been on earth long enough that he knows human customs. He would try to strike up conversations with you about your shared interests, spending time with you and giving you little gifts here and there. 

Dewdrop, on the other hand, doesn’t quite have the hang of courting humans. He goes about wooing you by fighting all the other ghouls around you and proving he’s proper mate material. Look at how strong he is! Are you impressed yet??

Unfortunately, this backfires, as you call him a bully and are more focused on the ghouls he’s beat up! He’s still not quite sure how this went wrong. 

Mountain takes to following you everywhere. He doesn’t quite know what to say to you, but he likes to watch you. If you try to talk to him, you’ll see him start sweating uncontrollably and make an excuse to leave. This poor boy has no idea where to even begin. 

Rain would spend hours talking to you and asking you questions! He’s an inquisitive little ghoul, and has so much to learn about humans and how they work...will you teach him? Please? 

Cirrus and Cumulus make their intentions pretty well-known from the start. Cirrus is more likely to be subtle about it, laughing at your jokes and twirling a curl of her hair around a finger as she talks to you. Cumulus would straight up grab your hand and place it on her breast. She does not beat around the bush. 

Swiss would try to win your affections through jokes. Making you laugh and letting you know you can confide in him if you need a friend here in the clergy. He also leaves you gifts, but....they’re weird gifts. Like a pair of floating eyes in a jar with a note that says “just can’t take my EYES off of you! <3″ or a few bones with the note “I like you! Make no BONES about it! <3″

Hey! We’re an incorrect quotes blog for the band Ghost! We’re just getting started and we have a bunch of quotes ready to be queued so please come check us out and maybe submit your own quotes so we don’t run dry!

Since we’re rather new fans our own ghoul centric quotes will mostly feature the era 4 ghouls, but if you want to submit posts with other era ghouls go ahead!

Papas + Copia: Worrywart S/O

Papa Nihil: 

Depending on the day, he finds your concern anywhere from genuinely amusing to incredibly exasperating. Really, cara mia, he’s fine!

His attendants and Sister Imperator already fuss over him, much to his displeasure, so getting it from you is something of a mixed bag. Just because he’s old doesn’t mean he’s infirm, damn it! 

But if you spin it as you being worried about him because you love him and you would hate to see him upset, then he’s a little more easy-going about it.

You automatically know when something is wrong or when he’s upset, because you pay such close attention to his demeanor. 

You get a sad chuckle from him. He can’t hide anything from you, can he? 

But the plus side of this whole thing is that he’s more likely to tell you what’s bothering him. The rest of these vultures are just waiting for him to bite the big one--not like you, cara mia. Knowing that you genuinely care about him makes it easier for him to trust you. 

Papa I:

He’s a little baffled, honestly. Of course he’s fine, beloved. Why wouldn’t he be?

You are always asking him how he is....are you anxious, lamb? Perhaps your anxiety manifests as worry for others?

If you act the same way for everyone else, he would just chalk it up to you being a caring person who just wants the best for everyone. It warms his heart to see your concern for others, beloved. 

Papa II:

If there’s one Papa who does not like to be fussed over, it’s this one. 

He growls in irritation. “Caro, I’m fine. I am not a child--stop treating me like one.”

To allow you to fuss over him would make him feel weak--and would reflect poorly on him, in his eyes. He is Papa. He is supposed to be strong; a pillar of support for the church, a leading man who can be relied on for anything.

Who you can rely on for anything.

But if you stay by his side long enough and learn how to get past that grumpy shell, you’ll find a man who pushes himself to the breaking point sometimes and actually does need someone by his side to help him, even if he’s too stubborn to ask for it. 

And he’s grateful for you, even if he never says it. 

Papa III:

He’s the polar opposite of II. This Papa loooooooves attention, especially from you! 

He’ll open up about all of his little troubles to you, no matter how silly he thinks they are. 

And knowing that he can come to you if something’s bothering him is a huge weight off his shoulders--you can be sure he’ll always confide in you. 

Cardinal Copia:

Honestly? He’s used to being the worrywart in the relationship, so having you always fussing over him is....new.

“Who cares about me? Topolino, how are you feeling? Are you alright?” 

It’s a pleasant surprise. He’s not used to someone always being concerned about his well-being...

It’s nice. It makes him feel loved and cared for. 

It would take him a little while to really open up to you, but he would get there eventually. And knowing that he can rely on you for this sort of thing takes a lot of stress off his mind.
