it was a slow saturday and you had decided to pay your boyfriend, j.d. a little visit. you had been with him for a little over 5 months and you loved him to pieces. albeit, he was a little frustrating at times, especially with nagging. no matter, you two were hopelessly in love, high school sweethearts who were still in high school.

on your way to his house, however, you heard a grey tabby kitten meowing from across the road. it looked to be hungry and very skinny. you could tell it hadn't had food in days.

'poor thing..' you thought, while simultaneously crossing the street to take care of it. when you went to go up to the small animal, it back away frightened. with a small frown you pulled out a few cat treat's from your side bag that would have gone to your cat, but let's be honest, he was spoiled enough.

you crouched down to the kittens level and held your hand out for it to inspect. the kitten curiously walked towards your hand and sniffed it. it flinched and then went back to sniffing it. after about 45 seconds of the kitten making sure you weren't gonna hurt it, it hesitantly ate the treats out of your hand. you smiled softly at it and went along with your journey to your boyfriend's house.

after a few minutes you noticed the cat was following behind you, seemingly wanting more out of you. you sigh and you melted at the cute animal, how could you not want to keep such a cute thing? you carefully picked it up, inspecting it for fleas and tics. it meowed a few times and you laughed every time it did. sometimes you would meow back at it, it was a habit honestly. once finding out it was parasite free, and finding out that it was a girl. you cradled her in your arms.

"i think i'm gonna name you millie." you smiled down at your new companion, occasionally petting her soft fur. for a stray with no collar and looked starved, she was oddly well-kept. millie softly purred at the new-found affection and stayed snuggled in your arms.

the walk to your boyfriend's house went by relatively quickly with millie to keep you company. every so often, you coo about how she was going to love all your other animals at home.

once arriving to the beautiful house, you knocked at the door. after not receiving an answer you groaned and tried again. eventually, your boyfriend did answer the door and looked at you, and then your arms.

"what's that?" he asked snidely. you just rolled your eyes and let yourself in, since you were used to his bullshit.

"what happened to hello and how are you?" you replied sarcastically. he sighed and went to the kitchen to pour you a glass of water, you followed suit.

your arms were going a little numb from carrying your little girl. he smiled at you looking down at the new cat and gave her a few pets. he was always gentle with animals. he kissed your forehead and carried the glasses of water to the living room with you.

"hello, darling. it's nice to see you."

"that's more like it." you nodded and sat at his couch. you placed millie in your lap and she comfortably curled up and closed her eyes, taking a nap on your lap.

j.d. sat down next to you, your legs touching and guided your head to rest on his shoulder. you smiled and closed your eyes while subconsciously petting millie.

"it's like you pluck every animal off the street and take them to live with you." he chuckles, making you open your eyes. you sighed once more, knowing he was somewhat right. that wouldn't stop you from protesting.

"you're just mad you don't find little guys like this on the street." you whispered, for you were a little tired. he saw this and patted your cheek, making your head jolt up. he laughed at you, not in a teasing way, he just thought you were cute.

"it's cute, i'll admit that much. is it a girl or boy?" he gave the kitten another little pet before his hand trailed down to your thigh. you clicked your tongue and laughed softly, you moved his hand back into his own lap. as much as you enjoyed the affection, now was not the time to be hot and heavy.

"she's a girl. i named her millie." you smiled down at her, she looked so peaceful as she slept in your lap. j.d. laughed at your softness with the animal.

"no, i know you aren't laughing. you love every single animal i take in!" you whisper-yell as to not wake the cat.

"i know, i know, i'm just teasing darling... hey, isn't millie the name you were gonna name that rat?" he simpered at you reusing the name. you feigned shock and betrayal but sigh with a small chuckle.

"yeah, but i just feel like bathtub was a better name." you sighed, knowing j.d.'s going to make another snide comment.

"no, you need to throw that fucker into a bathtub because i swear to god..." he trailed off. you playfully smacked him on the arm and he let's out a small 'ow.'

"rat's are actually very clean animals, plus i know you love him." you correct him. he mimicked you and you rolled your eyes with a small smile.

"don't be like that."

"i don't like that rat, it bites at my shoes." he complained with a exaggerated sad tone

"oh your poor shoes, he only does that because you kicked him."

"by accident!" he exclaimed. you laughed and the mix of the two loud sounds wakes millie up. she meows at the two of you. both your eyes were now directed at her. you and jason both looked back at each other and laughed. maybe you were an outward animal lover, but deep down, you knew j.d. was one too.

after another meow, you meow back at her.

"what? are you a cat too now?" j.d. grins and pulls you closer with a hand on your waist. you gave a small chuckle and shake your head.

"it's habit, my love." you respond. he nods in understanding and kisses your temple, watching you play with millie's paws.

he admired you playing with your new friend and eventually got up to get the new addition to the family a bowl of water.

As much as JD likes to mess with you, he actually does appreciate just how much you seem to love and care for him. Far too often has he been in relationships where it seemed as though he was the only one who was putting in any effort that he eventually began to lose hope he'd one day find someone who loved and worshipped him as much as he does for them

Then you showed up, and everything in his life seemed to get ten times better. He actually started attending school more often just so he can see you, especially if he knows you won't skip

However- that doesn't mean that he won't push your buttons, because he absolutely will. Believe me when I say that he's going to have at least a little fun at your expense

He'd never actually cheat, as he's way too clingy for that (unless he got really pissed off and wanted to teach you a lesson or something, but even then he'd probably end up killing the person afterwards) but he does find it amusing to see your reaction to him flirting with other people

It doesn't even have to be anyone he actually likes, in fact, he purposely goes out of his way to flirt with people he hates and actively talks shit about in front of you because he knows how mad you'll get. He's an asshole, what can I say

The look of silent rage that appears on your face whenever you see him walk up to any random guy or girl gets him chuckling everytime. He'll stay over there and flatter said random person until you storm over and drag him away from the conversation

Don't think that just because he flirts with other people that you can, that'd be crazy. How dare you talk to anyone other than him? What do you have, a death wish or something? (You flirt with other people anyway because he's not the boss of you and you can do what you want)

It's all in good fun though, because neither one of you would ever let anyone else lay their hands on the other, whether that be in a violent or sexual manner (or both). In fact, you guys even joke that if one of you ended up cheating on the other all three people involved would die, because there's no way the cheater or the person they'd cheated with would be allowed to live and the other couldn't live knowing their beloved was gone (it's actually not that much of a joke, but since you guys are so attached to each other that would probably never happen)

Speaking of committing murders, you guys do! All the time! :D (I don't know why I'm saying this like it's a good thing lol) Anytime someone does something to piss either one of you off, the two of you turn it into a date where you both kill the person, frame it as a suicide, then go back to your house for sex while the adrenaline is still pumping fast through your veins

Jealousy sex/make-up sex happens fairly often, by the way. You two may love each other, but because your personalities are so similar they're bound to end up clashing at some point, which leads to explosive arguments that typically end in "hate sex" (it's not really hate sex since you guys still love each other but given how much you both curse each other out and literally say "I hate you" during it I guess it could qualify)

Neither one of you really have any friends, not that you'd need them when you have each other. In fact, the only time you ever hang out with anyone else is when you're purposely trying to get JD riled up, and vice versa

I know he acts pretty aloof but I like to think that deep down he's actually really flattered to have someone who's crazy over him the same way he is over you. To someone as clingy and obsessed as him, it's almost like the highest honor, y'know?

Jason Dean x yandere/dark! reader; you surprise him with slushies for breakfast

Tw: yandere/dark content, gender neutral reader, suggestive stuff/frank sex talk as well as implied sex/smutish activities, mentions of insomnia, implied murder, the reader is very clingy and affectionate with JD (almost to a smothering amount but he doesn't mind), this is one of the more tame things I've written tbh

A/N: this is a twist on the "one character gets a blue drink and the other gets a red so naturally their tongues become purple by making out" trope. I literally wrote this in thirty minutes so I could have something posted for heathers day, which is September 1st, so if this sucks then that's why and I'm sorry (and then I got distracted and forgot so it's a day late oops)

JD used to think he hated sleeping in general, but after meeting you he just realized he hated sleeping alone. Laying in bed after downing half a bottle of melatonin gummies while waiting for sleep to kick in wasn't exactly his idea of a good time. Lucky for him, you had plenty ways of resolving that issue.

Admittedly, they did a pretty good job at working effectively given that most of them involved you physically wearing him out. Whether it was with murder or sex, either way certainly made it easier for him to slip into a state of exhaustion and conk out as soon as his head hit the pillow.

He didn't mind much. In fact, the act of you tiring him out as quickly as possible once he complained about being unable to sleep was one that he quite enjoyed. He preferred to stay with you anyway. There was nothing at his house that made it worth sticking around other than the few vague personal effects of his, and most of them he'd transferred over to your place already.

The sun was already starting to peek through the blinds when he woke up, which signified he must've slept for a good long while. That didn't surprise him given just how late the two of you had stayed up the night before, but what did surprise him was your absence. Usually you waited until he woke up to leave the bed, or at the very least told him if you were going to get up.

Thank god you walked into the room a few minutes later, because otherwise he would've started to panic, and that was definitely not something he wanted to be doing so early in the morning.

"Hey, baby," you greeted as you kicked off your shoes and set two large Styrofoam cups you'd gotten from the 7/11 near your house on the nightstand. "Did you sleep well?"

JD could practically feel his heartbeat start to slow back down once he saw you. You hadn't abandoned him, you just went out to get some slushies. No problem.

"Mh, yeah," he mumbled groggily as he sat up in the bed, watching you slip off his trenchcoat and toss it to the side. If he had been more awake, the sight of you wearing his clothes would've given him an instant boner, but the drowsiness he still felt was currently cancelling that out.

"Good, I'm glad." You sat down on the bed next to him, gently smoothing his messy hair back from his face before handing him one of the Styrofoam cups. "Here, I know how much you crave slushies the night after sex."

He gladly took the cup from you, immediately taking a big sip. "Thanks." It still felt weird, having someone being so affectionate and loving with him after everything he'd been through. A huge part of him felt like he didn't deserve it, but he knew you'd never leave him even if that was true. Something about how attached you were should've been unnerving, but JD was pretty unnerving himself so he wasn't bothered by it.

"Did you seriously wear your pajamas to go get slushies?" He asked after a moment, his brain finally catching up as he began to wake up more. The cold, sweet drink in his hands certainly helped matters.

"Well, I wasn't going to put on real clothes," you insisted lightheartedly before drinking some of your own slushie, which just so happened to be the opposite color of his. "Besides, we both know they're not going to stay on much longer anyway."

"Oh god," he muttered under his breath, though he was unable to keep the faint smirk of amusement off his face when you said that.

"Here, lemme have your drink for a moment." You placed both cups back on the nightstand before grabbing his face and pulling him in for a hungry kiss. He suddenly became very aware of the fact that he was only wearing a pair of boxers as he hadn't gotten properly dressed yet.

"C'mon, I wasn't finished," he complained with a slight huff even as he let you push him flat onto his back with no other protest.

"You can finish later. For now, I say we take the blue and red from our drinks and make purple." Your voice came out in a low tease when you spoke, your body hovering over his as you leaned down to capture his lips in another kiss.

Both of your tongues were successfully colored purple and your drinks were no longer cold when you were done, but it was so worth it.

The cafeteria line was one of the worst places for you, but for Kurt and Ram it was an all you can eat buffet full of bullying targets. On this particular day they had both tripped over at morning practise and their jackets were stained with mud. So their anger was already built up.

Kurt kicked down the door which alerted Jason. He looked up from his book to stare at the jocks who were inching too close towards you. You secretly hoped that they would pass you but Ram stopped right in front of you and smirked.

“Well, well who do we have here” He turned to Kurt and did a watch this kind of gesture. He then turned back and slapped the blue lunch tray out of your hands “Oops” You sighed and bent down to pick up the tray when Kurt kicked it away.

They could see that you were getting more annoyed by the second and it just made them feel better. You left your place in line to retrieve your tray and when you returned they were standing in your spot.

“Could you move please” Kurt chuckled “Did you hear that Ram, this dweeb wants us to move” Ram smirked “Sorry, but this is our spot now” Defeated and slightly embarrassed you retreated to the back of the line.

JD was pissed. Having watched the entire thing play out, he wanted to send Kurt and Ram to the grave. He stood up and started walking over towards you “Hey, you alright” You looked up from the floor to see the trench coat wearing individual “Yeah I’m fine, just a little thrown off balance”

You slowly noticed his breathing getting heavier. You tilted your head to see Kurt and Ram making faces at him. Before you could say anything he was already walking up to them.

You followed behind him but you were stopped in your tracks when he hit Ram across the face with a lunch tray. Ram fell back into Kurt’s arms. Kurt helped Ram to his feet, Kurt looked ready to pummel JD into the ground while Ram looked more like he was going to run off and cry.

Kurt went to throw a punch when JD stopped his hand. Everyone in the cafeteria were engrossed in this fight. JD started squeezing Kurt’s hand so hard tears started swelling. Kurt freed his hand and with Ram ran out of the cafeteria.

JD smirked and then turned to you “Thank you, I guess” He smiled “no need to thank me, I’m just doing gods work” He gestured for you to take your original place and you slid in.

He turned to walk off when “Hey I never got your name” He turned back “I didn’t throw it” You gave him an annoyed look “I’m Jason or JD for short”

She doesn't know about you and JD, neither of you are popular enough for your relationship to get around. But that doesn't mean you don't get angry when you see JD at your usual corner table, sitting alone with a book as usual - except he's not alone. He's talking to some girl, and she appears to be flirting. Yet he's smiling slightly, not brushing her off. "So are you free tomorrow night?" The girl asks him.

And JD says yes. He said yes and now he has plans with some girl! So you sit down like nothing happened and place your tray down. It's not like you were planning to eat it anyways, school food is absolutely disgusting. What your focused on is your boyfriend, who looks up at you with a smile, acting like nothing happened. But did anything happen? You can help but wonder if you're just overthinking it. Either way, you still have to know.

JD seems to notice somethings up. "Is something wrong? Kurt and Ram give you trouble again?" He asks. You sigh almost dramatically before looking up. "Who was that girl?" You ask softly, trying to be subtle yet he still picks up on it. "She's my lab partner in science, she was asking if I'm free to meet her in the library so we can finish the project. If you wanna come, I can pick you up" He offers, gently taking your hand. It makes your heart beat a little less hard against your ribcage and you're finally able to take an actual breath in through your nose.

"No, I was just wondering" You say as he presses a kiss to your forehead. He smiles at you and wraps around your shoulder. "You know you're the only one for me. You're all I can trust" He says, the look in his eyes so sincere you can't possible overthink it. You open your mouth to apologize for being so possessive, but he seems to know it's coming. "Don't you even apologize. It's normal, it's good. It means you love me" He says gently.

"And I love you too, just so you know" He adds with a smile, nudging you slightly before going back to his book.

Maybe you weren’t in the best situation. A couple of your classmates lay dead on the ground beside your feet. The forest around you was silent, not even the crickets threatened to chirp. Or maybe it was all drowned out by your hearts heavy beating in your ears. The night sky was covered in clouds, no stars daring to show their faces to such an atrocity playing out under them. The feint smell of gun powder floats in the air, like an aftertaste that you can’t decide is good or not. You stared down at the corpses of your colleagues, a blank face hiding the rushing thoughts in your head. It wasn’t like they didn’t deserve it but your mind couldn’t stop racing.

Oh god what have I done?

“-Hey.” 

You jump as you feel a hand grasp your forearm, tearing your gaze from the bodies. As soon as you lock eyes with him your head slows and your breathing regulates, his hand never leaving your arm. He was close enough so that you could smell his signature scent of cheep cologne and old books. He was a monster. The manic, crazy gleam in his dark eyes. His pupils blown to an impossible size and god forbid the smirk resting on his lips after committing such violent acts. Even in the cloak of night you could see the blood splattered on his face slowly drying to his skin. But if he was a monster you had to be a demon. Blood was splattered on your clothed as well. The sticky substance in between your fingers and caked into your nails. The loaded gun lying on the ground beside your converse. Your bloody converse. The one he was so kind to lend you. You didn’t feel sorry and neither did he. You were truly horrible people.

“You’re always in your own head, the things I would do to know what you’re thinking.” He cups your cheek with his bloody hand, running his thumb along your cheek. 

You let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding and relax under his touch. Your eyes flutter closed as you try to ground yourself. JD made it so easy, almost like he was a walking Prozac. He could say the same thing about you as well. As you open your eyes his gaze softened. He takes a second to take you in as if you could disappear at any moment before leaning in and capturing your lips in his.

The feint sweet taste of cherry slush on his lips was addicting though his kisses were never freezing nor cold. God no. They were hot and full of passion. You’ve never gotten used to it. Every kiss makes your knees weak and your hands shake, it’s almost like you forget yourself and the only thought in your head is him. Akin to a brain freeze, his kiss was the only thing to stop your racing thoughts. Froze you completely in the moment. You could stay that way forever if you could and he would too. Your arms snake around his neck to pull him in closer as one of his hands grabs your hip to do the same. You felt alive, you felt unstoppable, and it was all because of him. 

As you pull away clarity sets in. You weren’t monsters. Maybe you were in the best situation. There’s a necessary evil that has to be done to make the world a better place and you were the ones to do it. Burdened with the responsibility of changing the world and turning the hierarchy on its head. No. You weren’t monsters. You were gods.

The last thing you had expected to happen when you joined the heathers was being thrown to the streets after vomiting all over Heather Chandler. Confused and slightly tipsy you walk into your local 7/11. You browse the isles, rubbing your eyes due to bright lights. You don’t notice the shady figure approaching you until you bump into him.

“Well, didn’t expect to see you here twice in one night” You look up and notice the familiar face of Jason Dean “Jason, sorry for bumping into you I’m just a little-“ “tipsy, yeah I can tell” Your cheeks turned slightly red “No worries, I have the perfect cure” You follow him until you reach the back of the store “Slushies? I’m failing to see how those can cure…this”

He laughed and started filling up a cup “Trust me, these things are the cure to any pain” You looked at him half sleepy half suspicious. He handed you the drink and a straw, you stabbed it into the ice cold drink and took a big sip.

“I don’t really see the- Mother Fuck-“ A wave of icy cold pain shot you right in the skull, snapping you out of your midnight mood “So? Was I right” You took a deep breathe still recovering from the cold pain “Yes, somehow” He smiled “Their my cure too, so you never answered my question”

“You never asked one” He smirked at your response “What are you doing here this late, I thought Heather dragged you to a party” You groaned the thought of her made you angry “I barfed on her and by tomorrow morning I won’t be alive” You noticed his face go a tiny bit paler his smug expression faltering slightly

“What? What’s wrong” He snapped out of his worried daze “Huh, oh nothings wrong” You took another sip of the slushy “No your expression changed when I mention she would kill me” He grabbed you arm, a little too hard “Don’t say that! She’s not going to kill you not-“ He stopped probably feeling your struggling trying to free yourself from his grip.

JD; -Out of all the things he wears, his trenchcoat has gotta be the thing his S/O wants to grab the most -It just looks so comfortable and obviously it smells like him, why wouldn’t his S/O grab it while he’s not looking? -He’s searching high and low for it, very confused cause it was nearby just a second ago, but he knows S/O is home so he goes to ask them if they’ve seen it anywhere -Stops in his tracks and the question dies on his tongue when he sees his S/O wearing it, looking at themself in the mirror to check out how it looks -He feels like he’s just been struck through the heart with cupid’s bow as he walks up behind them, almost giving them a heart attack as he tells them that they look fucking awesome in it -Occasionally drapes it over their shoulders if they’re cold, or if he just wants to see them wear it again, because he definitely wants to see them in it again -He’s pretty possessive, so seeing his beloved in something that’s his, obviously his by the way that he wears it everywhere all the damn time, just scratches his brain in the best way possible -Tries buying them a matching one but it doesn’t quite have the same effect as them wearing his trenchcoat, but walking around wearing matching trenchcoats does make him feel super happy anyway
