Expend4bles cause carnage in the latest, Red-Band Trailer!
Get ready for the new Expend4bles Trailer! The idea behind The Expendable is quite easy: put all of the biggest actors from the 80s era into one movie, have them blow a ton of stuff up, and the result will be a nostalgic action-packed hit at the box office. The trilogy was a huge financial success overall. At the helm of the story is Sylvester Stallone, as he takes on the character of Barney Ross, a mercenary equipped with one of the best teams in the world thanks to Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), and well, the list goes on and on and on! It’s their job to do the jobs that the military and Government don’t wish to take on directly. https://youtu.be/Cm3Z1jEjHHc?si=V7NfWQPA6WhkJnu0 Throughout the trilogy, you'll see more legendary actors from the 80s joining in to help Barney, such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, and even Chuck Norris! On the opposite side of this, the three movies have seen some really fun “bad guys” that acting-wise, are also from the same era. You've got Jean Vilain (Jean-Claude Van Damme), Stonebanks (Mel Gibson), and James Munroe (Eric Roberts). All of them bring heavy action to the franchise in ludicrous ways. With cheesy action and a bucket load of one-liners, The Expendables captured the attention of its nostalgia-seeking audience right from the start. With its release in 2014, it’s been almost a decade since the release of The Expendables 3, after the third outing didn’t make as much at the box office as predicted, a follow-up didn’t show its face immediately. Finally, Sylvester Stallone found the right moment to return with this Avengers Assemble of action movies under Expend4bles! Alongside familiar faces such as Jason Statham & Dolph Lundgren, we are once again getting new recruits with this latest installment. Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, 50 Cent, Andy Garcia, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, and Levy Tran round out a stacked cast. With a September 22nd release date, the latest Red-Band trailer teases action, so much action, that John Wick himself would be proud. With ‘Can’t Stop’ by the Red Hot Chili Peppers playing in the background, it’s clear that The Expendables ‘Can’t Stop’ causing utter carnage, with seemingly, every weapon ever made? With the trailer focusing on its huge cast and R rating, it looks like fans of the franchise will find a familiar comfort in the final result. Also, we have to applaud the perfect tagline, “They'll die when they're dead”! The film is supposed to be the last Expendables trip with Sylvester Stallone, as he is hoping that Jason Statham will be able to carry the story forward. With Jason achieving a stack of action-packed hits for his own CV over the years, he is a safe bet. So, what do you want to see from The Expend4bles, and is there a certain actor from the 80s that you’d like to see make a cameo in the movie? Read the full article

triskele (j.t x c.h)
prologue (burn, baby, burn!) - cora
— Warnings: character death, vague descriptions of a corpse.
— Pairing: Jason Todd (DC Comics) x Cora Hale (Teen Wolf) [not in this part, can be read as standalone]
— Notes: Starting off the series with angst! This is promising. *evil smirk* Ah, yes, the Cora backstory and my interpretation of the Hale fire (because TW didn’t feel the need to elaborate on one of the most important, if not the most, events in the show.) Everyone who showed interest before is getting tagged below — hope you enjoy! I’m always open to feedback, so hit me up!
She remembers burning flesh most vividly.
Cora only left for an hour, going on a jog to cool off. Her mother had been furious about a fight she’d gotten in at school, but that guy was a jerk!
“He was picking on that asthmatic kid: McCall something! Did you really want me to just let that happen?” She yelled, stomping into the living room. The dark haired man on the couch eyed the two over the top of his newspaper before going back to it. Guess Uncle Peter’s not going to be of much help.
Talia sighed, doing that two-fingers-to-her-temple thing she hated. “Stopping a bully and tossing him into a locker are not the same thing.”
Cora frowns, crossing her arms as she drops her glare to the floor. “I only meant to shove him aside.” She bites out.
The front door slams, and a sullen teenage boy bearing an annoying resemblance to the woman in front of her walks in, freezing when his eyes fall on them.
“Is this about Cora beating up that 7th grader?” She squeezes her eyes shut as Talia groans, covering her eyes with both hands (and she swears she can hear Peter chortle) — there’s no way she’s getting out of this now.
“You heard about that too, cacchoro?” Talia asks, an equally exasperated and incredulous edge to her tone. Derek just chuckles, throwing his hands up in surrender.
“Oh no… I’m not getting caught in this. Besides, I have to meet up with the guys anyways. He tosses his schoolbag on the couch, dangerously close to Peter – who hisses under his breath – and ignores the pointed looks his mother and sister send him. “See ya, mom! Good luck, Cor!”
“…stop snarling at me, Peter.” And walks out, slamming the door again.
She rolls her eyes — he’s absolutely useless, as usual.
“Mom-“ Talia interrupts her, holding up a hand.
“You’re grounded, mi corazón. End of discussion.”
“But I have soccer this weekend-!” Cora waves her arms, face burning but Talia just shushes her again.
“No arguments. Go to your room.” She growls, fuming as she stormed upstairs. And after waiting for all of three minutes, leaps out the window and running for the main road.
Run, run, keep running!
It feels good to stretch her legs, without having slow down for the human kids. It’s just her, the forest and the wind whipping her hair around. She keeps at it until her calves pleasantly sting and she’s panting.
Maybe I should get home — it’s getting pretty late, and mom is only going to get angrier then. It’ll be worse if dad gets there before me.
The route back to Hale House isn’t an actual path, per say, but every wolf in Beacon Hills knows it by heart. Of course they did: Talia Hale was the Alpha, after all. Any time one of the packs from out of town, they had to come and pay their respects to the leader. In its own way, it’s pretty beaten down — the kind of minor differences that only a wolf could discern.
“Burn, baby, burn!” She hears someone yell, laughing, and the sheer malice that accompany the words stop her in her tracks. Someone else nervously skitters about, and someone else has already started running away.
“M-miss, we need to leave.” She hears him speak softly – is someone… groaning in the background? — while the woman who was laughing slowly calms down to a few chuckles. Cora stumbles forward, carefully and quietly, her heartbeat hammering in her ears. “T-the police are probably on their way already.”
“Right, right, heh heh.” Finally, Cora can place that voice, the voice that would haunt her nightmares for years to come. Kate, that girl that used to hang out with Derek. Her blood runs cold in her veins as that smell fills her nostrils, and she has to clench her jaw to keep from her lips quivering, the sob from escaping as her imagination turns on her.
She almost trips and falls directly into the light when she makes it to the clearing she called home, feeling like someone punched a hole into her chest and squeezed as she watches the flames rage.
The other guy has fled, and now it’s just Kate and some hunters behind her, lounging against their cars, talking and laughing like they’re at a picnic, watching fireworks instead of her family burning.
She slaps her hand to her mouth, tears flooding from her eyes. Her legs shake, and all she wants to do is scream, to fall and cry for her mother, whose blackened body is in their main doorway, reaching outwards.
The pain and fear still hang in the air, even though her family is dead, mingling with her own. She thinks she can hear someone’s wretched heaving, but that might be just her. She can’t feel anyone, all of her pack bonds are shattered, what should she do, what should she do-?
“Hey!” Her heart stops and she scrambled away, feeling like her head was going to explode. “Did you see something there?”
Run, run, keep running!
Her lungs are about to tear apart as she sprints away at full speed, checking over her shoulder to make sure they weren’t chasing.
Coward. You’re leaving them behind, you left them alone, you should’ve been there-
You should’ve been with them.
She shakes her head, sobbing but never stopping. No, just keep running, get away, survive.
It’s an odd feeling, she’d notice later through the numbness of grief — in the guest room of her mother’s friend Satomi, who found her feral and out of her mind in the next town over and whisked her to safety, wherever — the feeling of letting go, of letting your humanity slip and your primal, base instincts take over. Satomi said it was natural for a wolf her age, especially after the trauma she’d faced.
Cora wasn’t particularly complaining. Those instincts were what allowed her to survive for a week in the wild, scavenging, hunting, escaping. Still, she couldn’t get rid of that little voice in her head, relatively quiet compared to the screaming loss inside but consistently agonizing, that insisted that she was only a coward who cared about her own skin, a coward that left her family when they needed her most.
A coward who had a fight with her mom. Who didn’t even bother to say goodbye to her father that morning. Who was fighting with Laura over a board game instead of telling her she’d miss her when she went back to college. Who, in her last time at home, wrote a note to Derek to inform him she was going for a run that addressed him as “Jerkwad.”
She presses the pillow to her face and wails.

I think you're a beautiful person, and I hope things get better for you. How about we talk about some positive parts of the show! I love how many different personalities there are, there's no "copy and paste" among the characters. I love how everyone is so complex and unique. In last night's episode, I loved how Margo was given permission to have feelings other than anger. I love how Fen is allowed to be kind and soft, and is a strong character. What are your favourite parts?
Thanks,
IRL had been hitting me down with a frying pan lately and getting up is hard. Im working out really hard on being better and I wished it didn't show on Tumblr but there is a time where you need to think and take care of yourself first.
There is a lot of things i love about the show and I will do a list of it, I hope other add to it and we remember why this show is important and matter, despite its flaws.
How women are not a plot devise for male characters
How even background character have multidimensional
How they show disability with Margo’s eye and the dean blindness (though I wish we’d see Gretchen more)
The costume goes from found at H&M to hand made craftmanship by Magali Guidasci
The many bts and interaction the cast and writers have with their fans, they are not distant and its rare, lets remember this is a blessing
How no character is perfect, they have deep visceral flaws, they make mistake, they do dumb shit, and we still love them.
The legendary quotes they gave us
How being a nerd and accepted is part of the show but not the main focus; Q is a nerd but so much more and the show isn't about how to fit in like a nerd but how to fit in and stay yourself.
Hale amazing performance as the monster to a point I don’t see him as Eliot anymore. Which is creepy and crazy.
Julia’s arc blooming into ‘’ People heals’’ and how important it is for many who had her fate or worse
Mental health representation! From depression to anxiety, to ptsd, to dependence, to anger management to actual meltdown of grief
The empowerment of women by women. It is amazing to see them helping each other and not just walking on one another
How one emotion is portrait differently. (Per example how Q and Margo grieve Eliot is completely different)
BUNNIES
Kady was supposed to die and they love Jade so much they re-wrote the end of episode one
Summer refused to wear make up in her desert episode because Margo isn't that vain.
The small things an actor decide to do that end up being a character important choice (I.e Jason shaking his hand when he’s Q but not Beast!Q)
The fact that Julia still struggles with the idea of being a goddess or a mortal and try her best to make a choice and don’t know what to do. If this isn’t a big mood for any important decision a millennial struggle with, I don’t know what is.
Its filmed in Canada, which YAY my country
The sheer amount of Fanfiction there is and how omg they are so good y’all are good writers
The cast and crew understanding how much the show means for us and trying to give us a space to talk and even sharing bts with us!
Im sorry but Fish Josh? Yes
Musical episode. Fuck I love them.
Margo realizing that she can still be a tough woman and be in love is important because the narrative in media is that either you are a bitch and alone or sweet and surrounded by people that use you. Women never wins.
The fandom growing love for Fen warms my heart as I was the only one defending her for almost a year once.
How we can ship everyone with everyone and no one is mad. You ship penny x josh? Why not! There is 39 other timeline one might have that!
Or, you ship a character with two people... OT3 BABY
It went from Harry Potter with drug and alcohol to Millenial try to fight gods and inner demons
There are no fight books against the show, people take them as a separate piece of art and SCREAM when they both collide in amazingness (Aka the desert episode, Q yelling at a plant, the seven key, Abigail)
Lev being supportive of the creator exploring and expanding the worlds! I adore the library, Fillorian lore, what is magic outside of Brakebills
Seeing the character being a young adult and growing int being adult
Also what I love about the show is the fandom
You guys not only helped me out of my depression (though it has a relapse for the past week) but you encourage me to be me.
You supported my crazy idea of starting the Neitherlands library with @noe-gg as a place for pieces of information about the show and we are proud of this blog
You backed my crazy plan of a dnd book and the Kickstarter is over 500% financed, which blows my mind and will help me be able to take of work and sit down and write to give you better stuff
I wrote nearly 300k fanfic in a second language and instead of being mean to my mistake, you helped me, offered your advice and helped me grew as a writer
I was with a group of friend in High School that was super good at drawing so I wasn't allowed to try even if I wasn't that good. You supported me even when my first doodles are shaky and still makes me want to be better by your comments
There is no artist battle, we all help and support each other!
I fucking learn photoshop cause I wanted to gif the show and people came and help me be better
The gatekeeping is about being kind and open and not a shipping war or character war.
Physical Kids podcast is a must listen and truly amazing work by fans for fans
Hey the podcast I made too are not half bad
COSPLAYERS. YES. KEEP GOING.
People out of the US without Syfy helping each other to watch the show live.
There is no popular blog vs the others. (Not that I know of)
Blogs encouraging other blogs to create. YES.
We are all broken, but broken together. This fandom is my Brakebills, my physical kids cottage. One of the rare place I felt I belong for the first time

❝ wanted connection
emmett bryson (henry cavill) is looking for supernatural he’s brought to Hollow Grove please contact jules here if you’re interested in filling out this connection this connection is (open. closed)
Name of requested character:
UTP
Age range:
Up to player! They could be a recently turned supernatural or an older one
Faceclaim (please try to state more than one suggestion):
Literally anyone at all. A couple faces that I would love to see on the dash are: Tessa Thompson, Michael B. Jordon, Jason Momoa, Tyler Hoechlin, Michiel Huisman, Odette Annable, Constance Wu, Minka Kelly, DJ Cortrona, Amy Adams, Karla Souza, Lupita Nyong'o, Oscar Isaac, Lucy Hale, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Jon Bernthal, Emma Dumont, Anthony Mackie, Lily James or anyone tbh
Species:
Vampires, werewolves or witches
Connection to Character:
Supernaturals he helped and brought to Hollow Grove
Background:
This is a super open connection. As a Recovery Agent, Emmett helps supernatural’s make it to safe havens across the world. These would be the supernatural’s that he helped bring to Hollow Grove. They could have been anywhere in the world prior to coming to HG. It can more or less fit it in most bios as a way that your character found out about Hollow Grove if they don’t have a family connection or are newly turned. Some ideas might be:
-A supernatural in danger of being exposed after accidentally losing control
-A recently turned supernatural that is skeptical of the idea of supernatural safe havens but was eventually convinced to come to town because it would be safer for them
-A longtime supernatural that lived outside safe havens but recently ran into a danger that requires them to leave their home
-Anything that would require a supernatural to abandon their home and search for a safe space within the supernatural community
Preferred personality:
Up to player. Just not the type of person that would’ve been a danger to bring back to town.

WI Vs ENG: Gayle&Thomas lead WI to make equal the ODI series win at St Lucia
Thomas got five for 21 with the best situated voyagers being destroyed for 113 off 28.1 overs – their most decreased ever total in an ODI against the Caribbean side. West Indies’ Chris Gayle, left, and colleague Oshane Thomas demonstrate the stumps in the wake of beating England by seven wickets on the fifth One Day International cricket game. Oshane Thomas and Chris Gayle highlighted as the West Indies whipped England by seven wickets in the fifth and most recent one-day worldwide in St Lucia on Saturday to square the course of action 2-2. Thomas guaranteed five for 21 with the best positioned visitors being devastated for 113 off 28.1 overs – their most reduced ever aggregate in an ODI against the Caribbean side – only three days in the wake of scoring 418 in the fourth match in Grenada.
Gayle affirmed his ODI business in the district with a blazing 77 off just 27 balls to hurl his side to triumph with appropriate around 38 overs to spare in accomplishing 115 for three off 12.1 overs. The 39-year-old was the prominent choice for the man-of-the-series of prize concedes given his lucid quality with the bat in every inning of the four matches, scoring 424 continues running at an ordinary of 106, with 39 sixes.
“At one phase I thought this will be my last (ODI) innings in the Caribbean for the West Indies, so I thought I’d go out on a high,” said Gayle. “We’ll get a touch of regard moving into the World Cup.” Right when Shimron Hetmyer struck the winning four runs toward the start of the thirteenth over it suggested the West Indies had conferred a course of action to the side considered best decisions to lift the World Cup in England and Wales in three months’ time, belying their unassuming situating of ninth and the truth they had scratched through World Cup qualifying a year sooner in Zimbabwe.
– England’s batting collapse –
Playing just his ninth ODI, Thomas crushed the visitors’ vaunted batting line-up with career best figures despite proceeding as the fourth bowler in the line-up. Carlos Brathwaite and skipper Jason Holder took two wickets each in help of the heavy brisk bowler to totally legitimize Holder’s decision to bowl first on winning the toss.
In an unquestionable requirement win circumstance subsequent to losing a high-scoring fourth redirection, the West Indies pace strike abused a fun pitch and revealed the England batsmen’s specific shortcomings in these conditions. Alex Hales and Jos Buttler were the best scorers, each scoring just 23. Captain Eoin Morgan was next best with 18 as the batting crumbled rapidly regardless of Thomas’ trap. “We endeavored to change in accordance with the extra skip, it’s not something that we’re comfortable with,” said Morgan.
“It’s difficult to control what has been our normal reaction (to batting). We need to make sense of how to have the crease and score runs.” England lost their last five wickets for only two continues running with none of the last four batsmen making sense of how to get off the mark. Regardless of the way that he got just a single wicket, Sheldon Cottrell got the wicket-taking feasting background in advancement for the West Indies when the left-arm seamer bowled Jonny Bairstow off an inside-edge after an opening association of 23 with Hales. Hales and Morgan featured in the best association of the innings – 39 for the third wicket – yet it was just a concise help. Despite the level of their power, Holder still delighted in four overs of turn by methods for Ashley Nurse, the off-spinner exhibiting the most exorbitant in yielding 24 continues running from four wicket less overs.
– Merciless Gayle –
With such a little focus in front of them, Gayle made his aims rapidly, and mercilessly, clears. Chris Woakes was the first to bear the weight of his bat anyway the other opening bowler, Mark Wood, moreover went under the sledge as the opener heaved nine sixes and five fours out of an amazing innings. On a comparable ground where his unrefined pace brought a five-wicket pull and a solace triumph in the last Test of the initial three-facilitate game plan, Wood had the ability to in any occasion end the Gayle slaughter by ousting the left-hander having as of late spoken to the next opener, John Campbell. West Indies went into the match with an unaltered group, shockingly discarding all-rounder Andre Russell by and by despite the fact that he had flown in from the Pakistan Super League in Dubai prior in the week to be a piece of the squad for the last two matches.
England were constrained to take off one improvement from the accomplishment on Wednesday, all-rounder Tom Curran overriding hurt seamer Liam Plunkett.

Sul y Tadau Hapus to the Netball Dads: Mark’s Story.
1. When did you start coaching?
I attended the same UKCC Level 1 Course as Jason Hale in January 2015. I was offered to do the course by Cath Hares, who at the time was the local area sports development officer. I then started coaching in 2015 for Tredegar Senior Netball Club. I volunteered because I became fed up shouting on the side at the players and umpires and being one of “those parents" without having a clue of what is involved and goes on in the background in running such a club.
2. What is your connection with netball?
My connection with netball is that I have 2 daughters. 1 that coaches Mini nets and 1 who is currently playing Senior Netball for Tredegar.
3. Why do you Coach? What do you get out of it? I coach to help Tredegar Netball thrive as a fabulous club for Girls to come and play sport to a good level in a team environment. It gives me great pleasure to see all the girls improving and developing each season.
4. Do you know any other male coaches? Only Jason Hale we did our training at the same time in Cardiff.
5. How do you feel about being in the small minority of male coaches in Wales? It was strange in the beginning but I have adjusted to some of the rules that are so different from Rugby and football that I was used to , but I think other clubs and coaches tolerate my loudness and enthusiasm from the side I don't seem to have to many rows and looks from other teams .
6. Would you encourage more men to get involved? I would encourage any father to get involved in Netball weather its coaching or just simply helping your daughter with her passing and catching skills. Just get involved and they will definitely be surprised how fantastic a game it is.
7. Is netball just for women and girls? No netball can be played by men and I have played quite a few games in the mixed leagues during the Summer months.
8. Are you supported by anyone in particular? Myself and Jason support each other.
9. What kind of Coach do you aspire to be? I would like to be the best I can and hope I can push just 1 girl to the top of the sport and have a girl from Tredegar to represent her country at any level and put Tredegar on the netball map.
