if i were writing batman comics id make each of his kids a light mirror the same way each villain is a dark mirror. and the first comic id write would be about a person on death row. batman arrested them after they violently murdered someone and theyve been given the death penalty. cass decides to break them out because she's against the death penalty. outside the prison she runs into jason who's doing the same thing. evidence of how the people the guy had killed had victimised them first was deemed inadmissible in court but jason found out and he thinks its pretty damn relevant so he's gonna prevent the guy dying. cass and jason are at odds ideologically normally but decide to team up to get this guy out. they succeed, they're on the run, and batman is called to reapprehend the guy. after a series of bruce pursuing and jason and cass trying to evade they finally meet and fight. bruce obvs can't win against them but does a clever trick to win anyway because batman always wins but then he hesitates as his kids protest the guy deserves to live, giving them the chance to escape. close on batman looking somber as someone says something about the law vs morality
