     10 / if you were auditioning for your company today, what would you perform for your audition, or what would you change from your original audition?

“ i don’t know if i’d change anything? what i did for all my auditions got me into bc, so...! since the question says today, maybe instead of tt, i’d do yes or yes. show my vocal ability off a little more, so maybe i’d have stayed as a vocal trainee instead of joining the rap team... i don’t know. it’s not a huge regret or anything; i’m honestly fine with being our team’s main rapper! ”

     11 / if you could do any special stage, what would it be and who would it be with?

“ if i’m being, like, completely honest? probably a member of charm or unity-- they’re all so good on stage. i’d love to do jeonghwa’s and july-- i love hip hop, and it’s more sing-rapping, which is the one aspect of rapping i’m really confident i can do well in. think i’d have to do it with a more vocally-focused member so maybe hyunsoo or dai? it’d probably be easier to work with them since they’re under the same company, but if dimensions would like to give me a love call, i’m more than open to it! ”

     12 / what career opportunities would you like to pursue that you’ve yet to, or what achievements would you like to obtain that you’ve yet to?

“ of course i’d like a daesang, but we haven’t even debuted yet, so. i think the natural first achievement would be a first win, right? i’d just like to be able to showcase all of my talents, even if they’re not the ones i’m marketed for, so down the line, i’d also like to try a solo out again. maybe a studio choom performance? it’s more realistic that’d happen before a solo. ”

     13 / if you could become a model or ambassador for any brand, what would you choose?

“ something that suits my vibe! it’d be a bit weird to do high fashion-- though any opportunity to put chroma’s name out there would be very welcomed-- since i just.. don’t feel like i’d fit, like, gucci or something’s image. probably brands like peripera, etude house, holika holika or too cool for school? things that teens / young adults would use. as for clothing, probably streetwear? or sportswear? ”

     14 / if you could be on any variety show, which one (or which type of one) would you want to be on?

“ i’m not in a position to be picky-- anything that’d help us establish our place in the industry is fine by me. definitely knowing bros, running man and amazing saturday-- they’re like the holy trinity of viewer ratings. i’m not sure it’s a show, but i do think once i’ve had a few good years in the industry, i’d like to do look me up and clear up misconceptions people might have about me. ”

the music video filming runs until late, much later than it was originally intended. to say inyeong is exhausted by the end of it is an understatement – she really never expected for a filming to tire her out so much. hardly helps that, wherever they go, the girls are followed by cameras, trying to capture their reactions and opinions after each schedule. inyeong entertains it because she doesn’t have the option not to, even if her head is threatening to burst from the pain. when they arrive at the restaurant to finally have a meal, inyeong relents and ask the manager for a pain killer, which she’s given without much hesitation.

once the girls are sitting down and eating, inyeong finally feels some of the headache fading. she can properly think like this and she scrolls through her phone one handedly, chewing her food slowly. “yeonhee-yah,” inyeong calls out for the younger girl, looking up from her phone to meet yeonhee’s eyes. “can you check over my ment for tomorrow?” inyeong barely knows any english but she’s expected to do the ment at kcon as the group’s leader. she thinks a situation like this would warrant the actual english speaker to do it, but alas. “manager oppa helped me write it but i still don’t know if it makes sense.”

she keeps a cheerful and pleasant disposition up throughout the 3 days of filming. jetlag has got nothing on her years of media training classes. place her in front of a camera and a smile finds a way onto her face faster than you can call ‘action!’. her genuine excitement easily lends itself to her bubbliness while on set, but effervescence does eventually fizzle out. 

absentmindedly, yeonhee twirls the straw in her drink, watching the bubbles rise to the surface and dissipate. it’s late in the afternoon-- far too early for dinner, but lunch hour’d passed them by eons ago. you’d think that dancing for hours on end would lend itself to an increased appetite, but all she wants to do is lie down on the table and not move for the next 20 hours. 

before she becomes one with the linoleum, someone calls her name. late afternoon sluggishness has her late to respond-- maybe it’s the jetlag finally catching up with her?-- but she beams, regardless. “ of course! ” peeling herself off her seat and pushing the drink across the table, she slides in beside inyeong. “ woah, that’s... a lot. ” her ment’s half the length, and she’s the (unofficial) english speaker. “ it looks fine to me, but if you want, i could take over some of the parts? ”

     5 / what do you think of your/your group’s concept?

“ i don’t... have any particular thoughts. mainly because i barely know what’s going on with my group’s concept-- i just turn up on set and do whatever when i’m told to. i did like singing in the rain’s concept, even if i don’t really get the entire story and how it’s supposed to tie into the group’s lore. my suffering while filming the mv was super worth it, though, because it came out really well! it was very artistic and pretty. that i know. ”

     6 / what is one thing (a concept, a genre, an outfit, etc.) you would least like your company make you do?

“ probably something super out there like catallena, or bar bar bar? i don’t think i’d ever be able to pull the sushi concept off- i’m very content to stick with the tried-and-tested girl group concepts. give me the tennis skirts, not the helmets. i do think it’d be fun to try out as a special stage, though! ”

     15 / if you were offered the chance to become a ceo of an entertainment company, new or existing, would you take it? why or why not?

“ in the future? absolutely! i love performing, and once my own time as an idol’s up, i’d love to stay in the industry, and being a ceo seems like a perfect way to do that! think it’d probably have to be a small company that’s focused on a couple groups, though. running a tight ship would be much better than running a big one straight into land. if the groups hit big properly, it’ll pay off just as much and be much less stressful, too. ”

     16 / what changes would you implement if you were the ceo of your company?

“ honestly, the training system works. don’t get me wrong-- it’s terrible; but it really does works. bc’s at the top of the heap for a reason. there’s no complaint from me there-- if you can’t put in the work as a trainee, i don’t think you deserve to debut and reap the rewards of being a big 3 idol. i’d move us to a bigger building, maybe? though that’s not really up to me, is it? huh. anyway, i’d also like a more open conversation about creative involvement. we can’t be artists if we don’t... art. and i don’t mean just as a concept or part of the image. ”

     25 / what is your least favorite part of being an idol?

“ not sure i’m the one to ask. maybe it’s because my group isn’t fully debuted, but i barely feel like an idol. when you’re a trainee, your expected behaviour is pretty much just like an idol’s, just with less of the glitz and glam. so far, i think it’d have to be being unable to continue my schooling because of my schedules? i miss having a life outside of being an idol-- like, even as a trainee, even going to school for the first period was a bit of a respite from everything. ”

     26 / what is your favorite part of being an idol?

“ performing! it’s what being an idol is all about, isn’t it? whether it’s a music show performance or recording a little segment for a variety show, i’m really happy to be singing and dancing. a close second would be going to the shop... it’s really therapeutic for some reason. sitting there and getting my hair and makeup done is fun, especially when my stylists and makeup artists take my opinions into consideration. ”

hello, everyone! i’m vi, and if that name is familiar to u... das right babey. daddy’s home. to those of you who have had the pleasure of avoiding me thus far.... good for you! unfortunately, i’m here now and we Will be plotting. the background tldr:

ex-professional figure skater... if we’re using the term professional very, very loosely. it’s more likely that your muse wouldn’t have heard about her than not. gave it up at 14 to simply vibe.

lived in chicago from 14-16-- birthplace of her dark past. fans and non-fans alike are enjoying the predebut stories, pictures and even videos that are all coming out of the woodwork. at least she wasn’t an iljin 🤷🏻‍♀️ pays to live well.

auditioned for, and became a trainee in bc ent. around late 2018. decided to go all-in and took a year off school... and never went back <3 and her diving in headfirst was (thankfully AND luckily) rewarded with a debut.

the here & now:

chroma’s main spitter of barz who is doing it only because no one else fuckin will, like every other idol rapper out there. is she good at her job? that’s to be determined. is honestly better at dancing and singing than rapping but what’s a girl to do, right? catch her around bc mumbling incomprehensibly with a pen in her mouth!

has spent so much of her time and energy working towards debut that she doesn’t know what to do with all her free time, and is honestly kinda just vibing right now. bought a coffee grinder and has hand-cranked more than her body weight in beans.

part-time studying for a diploma, but it’s a very on-the-side thing, because tbh fuck school do drugs. 

the wanted connections are very sparse, but. if you’d like, take a peek! i’ll definitely be updating w more plots (famous last words, mb???) i would definitely prefer to figure out something personalised out, though!
