Why do Jasiphae and Kaedra dislike each other? Is it just clashing personalities or something more(unless this is a spoilery ask)

They don’t dislike each other so much as they simply don’t get along very well. It’s really just clashing personalities. Their relationship can improve over the course of the game, especially with the MC’s involvement.

I’m going to be real with you.

I wrote it so long ago, I have no idea.

I do know that Terrisen is absolutely in love with Senetha in the story and very much wanted to tell him so. He never would have, though. It’s too complicated, and he’s too scared. Plus, for all that he loves Senetha, he also loves Jasiphae, and his relationship with her is far easier. There’s no risk to being with her; Senetha, on the other hand...

Would Terrisen have let things go further between them that day? Yes. He’s hopeless, after all. But afterwards he would constantly be worried for Senetha and half-way to hating himself for putting Senetha in such a precarious position with their relationship.

Even if he finds the whole “forbidden lovers” thing a major turn-on.

Will going after Jasiphae(because I love angst) ruin our relationship with Terrisen? If it does will it help if we already have a history with her before him and he knew about it?

Going after Jasiphae will ruin your relationship with Terrisen if you let it. Terrisen is really a very easy-going guy and quite understanding that the heart wants what the heart wants, so he’s very much inclined to forgive the fact that you’re interested in the same person as him. Really, he makes a sort of game out of it, a friendly rivalry between the two of you for Jasiphae’s affections.

However, if you want to ruin your relationship (for the drama, because you hate him, whatever reason), you definitely get plenty of chances to do just that.

She likes Terrisen and Terrisen likes her. He makes her laugh, and he loves how clever and strong-willed she is. They are a good match with genuine affection, attraction, and respect between them.

But Jasiphae and the Heirsona might be a better match.

I said she’s engaged to Terrisen. Not that she marries him. ;)

You... You read the whole blog? God, you’ve seen everything. You probably know everything I’ve said better than I do.

But yeah, I did say that. You can be Jasiphae’s first, before Terrisen. Any romantic relationship the Heirsona has with Jasiphae is complicated by her relationship with Terrisen, but that doesn’t mean you can’t romance her.

Since Sebriel and Vesperion are gonna be available as a polymance, will there be any love triangles?

There will! For the most part, I’m going to let them develop naturally as I write, but there is one love triangle that I can confirm will be in the game: Jasiphae, MC, and Terrisen. Jasiphae is the center of the love triangle while you and your brother Terrisen compete for her affections.

Noticed that you mentioned that a romance with Jasiphae is a "greek tragedy". If I remember AP English, those things did not tend to work out well for the characters (then again the characters were mostly trash humans who made terrible decisions at like every turn, so...). Is it possible the romance can work out with either main figure in it not stabbed, poisoned, dead in duel, smited by the gods, etc?

Jasiphae herself does not die her romance arc. (At least, if she did die, it wouldn’t be something that happened exclusively when romancing her. Not that I’m saying she dies.)

Can you be in relationship with Sebriel while married to Jasiphae?

I… *think* so?

It’s one of those things where whether or not it’ll be possible can only be decided upon once I actually get to that point in the game. So while I’d like to have it be possible to have an affair with Sebriel while you’re married to Jasiphae, I can’t 100% confirm it at the moment.

Vesperion thinks Jasiphae is beautiful, but he doesn’t have any feelings, romantic or sexual, for her.
