Um, did we also realize that Ashley also doesn’t follow JaQuel Knight? Unless my peer-reviewed scientific research and analysis were wrong. Someone check for me pls. 🤔👀

Also, I’m happy that we’re getting new dancers. I think that during Beyoncé’s hiatus, I started getting closer to many of Rihanna’s/Paris Globel’s dancers, for example. Also, dancers that Itsbankhead uses. I want fresh, hungrier dancers that leave their hearts on the stage nightly. I’m not talking about going nuclear, like Miss Bianca. But gimme Tacir, Taylor Terry, Briana Morrison. That being said, I want to see familiar faces. Ashley is captain, and you can’t tour without her. Doesn’t make sense to me. I wouldn’t be surprised if Dnay isn’t on it though.

I think Bey is in a new era that’s not hip hop focused. Last tour was the hip hop era. And Bey def featured those girls, even more than the contemporary/heels girls. This tour it’s more contemporary, ball-room, dance etc. Dnay and Ashley Seldon may not mesh well, while the girls from the “Be Alive” Oscars performance may be better suited, for example (Ash led that routine, if I remember).

Chile, your extensive scientific research is correct because I too researched 🤧

But honestly, you said it all! I want new dancers but i also want to see the old faves back 😭

So I’ve watched the show in its entirety and I have some thoughts! Let me just say that choreography wise, the routines are probably the most intricate I’ve seen from her. You needed dancers trained technically in voguing or those adjacent styles to make it work. There’s a youthful energy to the dancing, which I think is intentional given the recent criticism that Bey’s is a bit subdued a times (probably cuz of her foot injury). That being said, these new girls can daannnnceee yo. Picture a stage of a 100 Tacirs ripping it up. I mean, just wowww. Standout routines will include “I’m that Girl” “Move” “Energy” “Formation/Diva” and “America Has a Problem”. This new choreographer knows their stuff. (I’m also low key glad she stopped working with JaQuel, but that’s for another time). For some of these routines though, there’s a bit of nostalgia. Cuz I’m like, ugh, Dany would have ate this routine up and left no crumbs. Ashley’s such a fluid dancer, would have loved to see her in this number. I wonder how they feel watching this. Anyway, just my two cents. I’m seeing her in Toronto and I want to know every bit of choreo before then.

Not the entire show 😭😭😭 my willpower is wearing THIN because I too want to know all the choreo before hand and make my list of dancers. How I’m supposed to do that without watching 😭😭😭

And while I loooooove JaQuel Knight down, I’m glad she decided to switch it up! Gotta get out of that comfort zone sometimes.
