Can you write a human au of the stray trio, where a super shy s/o tries to confess but starts crying since they are so nervous? I think it could end up being super fluffy in the end.

Stray Trio: Shy S/O cries when confessing!

America:

His S/O was shaking. Their body felt warm, and heavy. Even still, they were hellbent on telling him their feelings. Walking over to him at a quick pace got his attention Pretty easily, making their heart beat faster than thought possible. He looked at him with concern in his eyes, already giving them his undivided attention.

"Hey S/O! What's with the racecar speed walk? You need a hero?"

His hero remark made them inwardly smirk, but it didn't stop the lump in their throat forming as soon as they went to speak. Moments went by, and he started to get more worried for them.

"Are you okay? Seriously starting to freak me out a bit here..."

That was it. The tears started to slip and they could only blurt out-

"DATE ME!"

Quickly covering their mouth they started to silently cry. That was not at all what they wanted to say, and the shocked look on Alfred's face didn't help. Especially when that shocked look turned into a frown. All S/O could do was look down, and try to bite back the flow of tears.

Warm, strong arms wrapped around them as they sobbed into his shoulder. Soft apologies mumbled against his plaid fabric. The only thing that calmed them down was the loud laugh coming from their source of affection.

"Why are you apologizing? I'm supposed to be the one to admit their feelings first! Then again... That was kind of hot- ha!"

S/O very quickly went from sobs, to beat red and flustered.

England:

It was a rare occurrence to see Arthur out of his element. He'd usually spend time at the library but today his S/O caught him at the craft store. Originally S/O themselves needed some small miniature figures for a school project, but hanging out with him sounded more fun. He jumped as soon as they touched his shoulder.

"O-Oh! S/O! What a pleasant surprise to see you here, I'm just uh..."

It was very obvious what he was doing considering he was standing right in front of the embroidery section. His S/O had spotted a heart shaped design and they were immediately reminded of their feelings towards him. Completely unaware of the scrunched up face Arthur was taking as a disgusted one. Quick to correct him when he asked them about it, they decided to be more honest. Then came the jitters.

Arthur had zero ideas on what to do with the tears that had started falling from their face.

"Darling, Why are you crying-"

He immediately covered his mouth, never really using endearments like that before. His S/O whipped their head back up at him, a soft smile pasted on their lips.

"D-darling? Does that mean you like me too?"

"Was that what all the crying was about? Oh, love... Come here-"

Being immediately held by the British gentleman, catching his soft cologne, calmed them down immediately. He eventually admitted to wanting to make them an embroidered confession. But this was just as good.

Japan:

They were just two shy beans in a pod, and his S/O knew it. So they felt like they needed to make a move if any were to be made. Did not make it easier however.

They had taken a lunch break together, and S/O had promised to make them a bento box, saying it would be like having a slice of his home. He was pretty excited about it actually. He hadn't stopped talking about all the different ways to prepare bento, meanwhile his S/O was growing more and more nervous over their confession. When Kiku finally realized their discomfort he took it as him being annoying.

"I am sorry. I did not mean to keep talking."

"No! It's not that I just- uhm..."

There was silence between the two, and the longer it lasted the more emotional S/O was getting. Japan had shyly, whilst shaking, placed a light hand on their shoulder.

"It is okay. Whatever it is, I am here for you..."

"Can.... We.... Date?"

His hand immediately withdrew and his face turned red. But nothing stopped the happy smile he wore. In the end he gave a fast couple of boss, now officially lost for words at his crush liking him back.

Later on that day his S/O was surprised to hear others talk about it. Apperantly he was so ecstatic about it, he told his close friends immediately, and it spiraled out from there. Not that they minded!
