perhaps an unpopular opinion but i really think having no full voice acting (regardless of its quality ..) was a key part in the zelda game vibe for me and i dearly miss it

besides its obvious benefits of being cheaper and easier to do, its just got a specific feel of ... i cant really describe it, but i miss it alot ........ plus its basically impossible to ruin our sour a character through bad or unfitting voice acting ..

So a fun thing about making the Youtube playlist is realizing the surprising amount of old songs whose only trace of existence is a single "[Title] eng sub" video from 2011 that no longer has the English lyrics because it was subbed through ANNOTATIONS. And now finding English lyrics to the songs is a Sisyphean affair, relegated to wading through the depths of old blogs like these.

Nonetheless, I find it a fun task! So many songs forgotten to the sands of time coming back for this tournament! It's beautiful to see :)

#not a poll #just me talking #however i will say. many translations are not up to snuff and i find it sad #reverse rainbow's specifically is mediocre at best but i guess the message comes across?#other songs straight up have no translation because of how truly niche the verily queer (not BL/GL) japanese producers are #hopefully this will give them more recognition!!! :D
