Chip is here
Actually if there’s any one (1) piece of advice I’d give to folks traveling to japan (or anywhere really) it’s. if you don’t exercise regularly then start going on walks consistently several weeks in advance. because if you go from ‘not going on walks ever’ to ‘walking several miles every day’ your feet and ankles will go like What The Fuck. well this is more for people who are out and about tho, if you take it easy you probably don’t fall into this trap

Because of my desire for more downtime stories when it comes to LMK, I just got my mind running about them on something of a vacation.
The first one that comes to mind is a Spa resort or like a Hot Springs resort (even if that's more a Japan thing). Basically a resort town, kinda touristy but still fun/relaxing.
I envision them more likely wandering around to try local foods, going to some theater or show.
Though with the Spa/Hot Springs, there might be multiple pools with different temperatures and water textures, so they may be scattered about trying different pools.
This idea is because I remembered those pictures of the Snow Monkeys that sit in the Hot Springs in the Winter, and then replaced the Snow Monkeys with Wukong, Macaque, and MK with the little monkeys from FFM. With little towels on their heads. 🐒♨️
Realized I didn't specify who all is there, so the Main Cast, Macaque, DBK, PIF, and Red Son, they called a truce in the name of relaxation. (Time Frame is more toward S5-ish because I want to have Monkie MK.)
Local Food can vary depending on other factors, but maybe there's a kinda famous Super Spicy Food Restaurant that interested DBK and Red Son, there will definitely be like some local noodle shops that Pigsy heavily judges, some sweets and tea shops and a local brewery/winery that specializes in stone fruit flavors. (I am stretching this a bit)
PIF definitely got a Full Spa Package, and uses it to avoid Wukong, though she might've invited Macaque, but he wants to wander the area and try stuff.
If some kind of drama is wanted, well maybe some locals, with little common sense or low sense of danger, attempt to flirt with some of the group... it doesn't really go well for the local, maybe domino from there, maybe not.
Or maybe there's some revelations regarding romance, and someone just realized they had some feelings. Though maybe it's just a revelation about a condition or something!
So help me I wish I could lay this out better, but this is what I got with my mind trying to come up with world building that may or may not be necessary. Also I don't know how well I can actually write out the characters!
Have fun with this, add on or expand if you want.

Do you have any tips on finding a good travel agent? Im saving money for an international trip in the future and i want to do my research early
Yes!
1.) Avoid MLMs. These agents were recruited with enticing "get paid to travel!" promises but have been given little to no training or support. See this article for specific companies to avoid.
2.) Depending on where you're going and what you want to do, you may want to find a specialist in your destination. Any good travel agent can do, say, a basic Italy trip, but if you want to know where to find the most authentic onsen in Japan you'll need someone who knows the area very well and sells it frequently.
3.) As with any other professional, personal compatibility is important. Talk with them first to see how well you communicate and if you click. (This will be easy, as any good agent will want to know a lot about you and your vacation dreams before you even start looking at packages and pricing.)
4.) That said, please please PLEASE do not price shop us. Agents put a lot of effort into their proposals and we don't want you to take all our hard work and then book everything yourself on Priceline because it was $100 cheaper. More and more agents are charging planning fees to avoid this, requiring a nominal charge ($100-200) to provide a proposal--in most cases this will be applied directly to your deposit when you book so it's not an additional cost on top of everything.
Good luck with your vacation!

Tumblr media

In Japan, physical standard and limited editions will also be released for PlayStation 5 and Switch. The standard physical edition will be priced at 4,400 yen. The 8,580 yen “Special Pack” will include exclusive packaging featuring an illustration drawn by Takami Akai, an art book, and a five-disc soundtrack featuring music from the PC-98, DOS/V, TOWNS, and Refine versions of the game, as well as an arranged version for Regeneration. Tumblr media
Here is an overview of the game, via its official website:
About
Princess Maker 2 is a childrearing simulation game in which the player experiences being the father to a daughter granted to them by the stars. They raise the girl for eight years, from ages ten to eighteen. Your daughter grows up to be an adult through various experiences in the game. Princess Maker 2 Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary This Year
This year marks 30 years since the original release of Princess Maker 2 (PC-9801 version) in 1993. We invite you to experience the new and improved Princess Maker 2 on its 30th anniversary.
Tumblr media
—Message from Takami Akai
I am deeply grateful to see that “Princess Maker 2”, which came out 30 years ago, is still so beloved by so many fans that we can release a new version. This time I was finally able to redo the graphics, which I had always wanted to do. Please enjoy the newly redrawn vacations and endings. About Takami Akai: Born 1961. While still enrolled at Osaka University of Arts, he made his debut with the DAICON III Opening Animation. As one of the founding members of GAINAX, he has worked on anime and tokusatsu shows, as well as games and events. His most noteworthy works include the Princess Maker series, Gurren Lagann, and Dai Tokusatsu Negiman.
Redrawing the Graphics
This title is based on Princess Maker 2 Refine, which was released in 2004. Especially important graphics were redrawn by Takami Akai in a style similar to the PC-98 version. The graphics are drawn in high resolution befitting modern game systems, with a commitment to quality in the details.

Tumblr media
Opening Movie Added
An opening movie produced by Yonago GAINAX has been added. The animation, which was made by a team led by Takami Akai, allows new “father” players to get a sense of what a future raising their “daughter” is going to be like.
Knowing How Your Daughter is Doing is the First Step in Raising Her
This title is a social simulation, so it is very important to always be aware of your daughter’s status and use this to raise her. In Regeneration, parameters for assessing your daughter’s status are always available, so you can check on her at a glance. Check what you should do for your daughter’s future, and raise her carefully.
