I'm. So mad.
I just wrote so much in response to this. I was about to hit post. And then.....
So here's try number 2. Probably much shorter lol.
đ- What kind of themes, imagery scenes offer or repeatedly appear in your work?
If its horror it usually psychological in nature or source and it usually has a water scene. A lot of unseen creeping.
I love a character who usually puts on a strong face bring forced to rely on others especially in a found family capacity.
Whump is a big part of that for me too.
I write a surprising amount of just like, slice of life cute daily scenes.
And I am a pretty big fan of the whole love-confession-as-I'm-injured-and-losing-conciousness-because-I-think-I'm-gonna-die-and-so-I-need-to-tell-you-how-much-i-truly-care-about-you-as-I-sacrifice-myself-so-that-you-may-live, sort of thing. It's always a crowd pleaser (it's me I'm the crowd of 1)
âïž What tropes do you not like/hate to write
Controversial opinion maybe? I don't like to write Soulmate AUs. I only ever read them once in a while maybe if it's interesting on a conceptual level, like they change up the formula, but. ... I as a person don't believe in soul mates or destiny so very hard for me to get into. (But I appreciate the ppl who do write it. It's just not my thing.)
Also certain AUs mu writing just doesn't vibe with even though I do respect them as Aus. Like Mafia AUs or Serial Killer AUs. I don't think I could hack it, but I respect what u do.
đ€© What kind of characters do you like to write.
My favorite is "Bisexual Disaster, just trying their best, who is also just, some guy"
Examples may include, but are not limited to:
Phoenix Wright (or literally anyone from Ace Attorney Ever)
Barry Allen
Sokka Watertribe
Stede Bonnet
Stiles Stilinski
Xie Lian
Ranma Saotome
Lina Inverse
Anthony Janthony Crowley
Geralt of Rivia
And others that I can't think of bc im bad at thinking of thing when I need to.
I also love characters unhinged in their impulse control with a zest for life that borders on terrifying:
Maya Fey
Truly Wright
Merton J. Dingle
Ed "Blackbeard" Teach
Zuko Firebender
Klaus Hargreaves
Cecil Palmer
Aziraphael
It's a real grab bag!
đŠ- What's the sweetest fic you've written?
Probably the one I wrote for you tbh, the GothicWolf Marriage? That was a really sappy one. I still like it tho: Pick a Four-Leaf Clover.
I need to write more and put it out rather than just keep banging away at snippets on random docs lol. Rip to the first response to this post. Thanks for the ask!

303!
2/3 fics of today (idk if I can get to a third one tonight though) but this one is a mash up of prompts too. enjoy!
303: âWe have to pretend to be married.â and can you do one where theyâre at an event for Graham Windham?Â
â
âThe kids in this room range in ages three to five years. Most of them come from backgrounds where a parent isnât around because of several reasons so they have to stay here with us during the day.â The woman from Graham Windham said as they entered the playroom.
Little kids were everywhere, some running around the room and others sitting at different tables doing several activities. The cast had to stand on one side of the room in order to not be in the way.
Hamiltonâs affiliation with Graham Windham was long and strong at this point and today the whole cast had decided to spend their day off at one of their facilities to volunteer.
âIâll split you guys up and the thing is to just hang out with the kids, play games and do arts and crafts. They just love new faces.â The woman starts splitting them all up and Jasmine ends up sitting with Pippa, Anthony sitting at the table across from hers.
The little girls in front of her start talking immediately as they scribble and color on the coloring sheets. Jasmine tries her best to listen to the little voices but they all start meshing into one. She looks over at Pippa who shrugs and laughs along with her.
âWhatâs your name!?â The little girl closest to her, probably not more than 5-years-old, asks. Jasmine smiles and leans down so that the little girl can hear her.
âJasmine, whatâs yours?â
âLike the princess!? Are you Jasmine the princess? You look like her!â The little girl turns to all her friends and starts telling them all about how Jasmine is the princess in the movie.
She doesnât want to tell them no and so she just goes along with it, answering their questions and singing little bits of âA Whole New Worldâ to them. The whole table is entranced with her and itâs all she can do to keep it up.
âWhereâs Aladdin? Is he here too?â Another one of the little girls ask her.
âOh yeah, heâs at that table over there.â Pippa answers her, pointing at Anthony. Jasmine rolls her eyes and shakes her head at Pippa, all the little girls squealing with delight.
She feels the hem of her shirt being pulled to her left and sees another little girl trying to get her attention. âCan we meet him?â Her little eyes widen and Jasmine suddenly canât say no.
So she gets up and leads the group of little girls to Anthonyâs table.
âHeyâŠâ He stands up and she pulls him close to her.
âWe have to pretend to be married. Those kids think weâre Jasmine and Aladdin.â She tells him and pulls away to introduce him to the group, all the little girls running up to him and start shouting and asking questions.
Anthony sits back down in the tiny chair so he can be eye level with the little girls, he ends up pulling the littlest girl into his lap and starts to answer their questions one by one.
âI think I like Agrabah better but Disneyland is cool too.â
âNope, sorry the magic carpet and Abu couldnât come visit today.â
âOh, yeah, I wear real shirts when Iâm here.â
Jasmine watches in awe and canât contain the warm filling swelling inside her. The girls canât stop staring at Anthony and honestly she canât stop staring at him either. He motions for her to sit next to him and she does willingly, answering questions together and they end up singing and dancing with the girls.
When itâs time to go, the girls all whine but with little promises of coming back and a little bit of distraction from the Graham Windham staff, Jasmine and Anthony are able to leave with the rest of the cast.
âIt looks good on you.â Jasmine nudges him as they walk down the halls, lagging behind the rest of the group.
âWhat does? Glued up hands and marker smudges?â He laughs but Jasmine just takes his hand and squeezes it.
âNo, fatherhood.â She tries to gauge his reaction, kids one of the trickier subjects to touch, but he doesnât flinch when she says it. âThey all loved you, it was cute.â
All he does is wrap an arm around her and kisses her temple. âHmm, youâre right,â He pauses and she looks up at him, âThey were cute.â
Jasmine giggles. âNice job of avoiding the subject of kids, 10 points for you.â Sheâs teasing but she doesnât push him anymore.
âYouâre right though, kids would be fun.â He gives her a little smile when she perks up. âOne day, one day J.â
âOkay, one day.â She concedes, daydreaming about their future while wrapped up in his arms.

8, 11, 20 and 48?
8, 11, 20 and 48?
8. Favorite trope towrite.
Cool Smarmy Bastard AssholeWho Is Actually A Major Softie And Only Shows It Around Their Favorite Person. For Evidence, see: Eliot Spencer, Ezekiel Jones and, most recently added tothis illustrious list, Anthony Janthony Crowley.
Thereâs just something so*chefâs kiss* about a character who talks a great game during the day, keepscool during the crisis at hand and then completely melts into their s.o.âs armsas soon as the lights go out and I donât care if there are a million fics aboutthese characters and this trope already, Iâll keep adding more and you canâtstop me.
11. Describe your writing process from scratch to finish.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Idea strikes. This can be a line, part of aconversation or just a general âhuh that sceneâd be cool. Occasionally, itâs apun. This is the most annoying thing of all
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Put off writing and let the Idea ferment for abit because the couch is comfy and to write I have to actually get up and go tomy Writing Computer (first world problem I know but writing on my laptop sucks, believe me)
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Idea keeps walking around banging pots and pansin my brain until it becomes impossible to ignore
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Grumble and groan and switch on WritingComputer
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Put on Ambient Noise Video on Youtube.Something with fire or a thunderstorm (or both) usually works best
-Â Â Â Â Â Â *insert gif of furious typing* occasionally interruptedby research or snack or water breaks
-Â Â Â Â Â Â No beta we die like men
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Post
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Keep pressing that refresh button on the AO3stats page while watching the hit/kudo counter like a hawk
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Go to bed exhausted
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Eat, sleep, wake up, repeat
20. Post a snippet of a WIP youâre working on.
Iâve got a bunch of GoodOmens WIPs now but since I know youâre not into that (yet), Iâll post somethingelse. This is a deleted scene from the (for now abandoned) Keep the Home Fires Burning, and it was supposed to be part of the ending until Idecided against making it a Librarians/Leverage crossover.
There was someoneyelling in the hallway.
Now was that not unusualin itself; whoever thought that British politics were a model of decorum andtranquility, had never been inside the backrooms of Westminster. But what wasunusual, Aloysius thought as he looked up from his paperwork with an irritatedfrown, was that it was a distinctively American voice, shouting at whoever wasoutside to let him through so he could break that slippery bastardâs neck soget out of the way or Iâll start by breaking yours.
Aloysius sighed. He hadbeen expecting this.
He put down his pen andgot up to open the door. He was met with a rather unusual sight: a short, stocky man in plaid flannel and jeans, his face red with fury under hisquivering semi-mohawk, was accosting his clerk Jeremy, who was doing a verydecent job at not trembling with fear. âHeâs busy,â Jeremy squeaked, inchingbackwards as the other man (Aloysius had already dubbed him âcowboyâ) marchedforward with a snarl. âHeâs not seeing anybody right now!â
âI will make anexception,â Aloysius said coolly. âMr. Stone, I presume?â
The angry man turned andglared. âYou Uncle Al?â he asked, contempt dripping off every syllable. âYougot something of mine. I want it back.â
âLetâs talk inside,âAloysius said, stepping aside to let Mr. Stone stomp into his office. The manreally was an exceptionally excitable fellow, it seemed. But then again, AgentJones had not been possessed of the best of tempers either. They would havemade a fitting pair, Aloysius mused, closing the door.
Such a shame.
âMr. Stone, may I onceagain start by expressing myâŠâ he started, and then stopped.
It was like atransformation took place right in front of his eyes, even though nothingreally happened. Mr. Stone did not change his clothing, or his hair, oranything else about his person to warrant such a dramatic shift, but when heturned around, Aloysius could not see one trace of the man he had just let intohis office two seconds ago. All the anger had gone, the tension sliding awayfrom his posture like water off a window pane; instead he stood easily, hisshoulders relaxed and his hands tucked into the pockets of those atrociousjeans, surveying the tastefully decorated office with an almost amused quirk tohis mouth before he turned to Aloysius.
And smiled.
âMr. Aloysius,â he said, his voice now a pleasant Southern drawl. He held out his hand. âIâm sorry. Youseem to be laboring under some misapprehension. Donât worry, it happens a lot.Though itâs usually the other way around,â he added with a crooked grin.
Aloysius stepped back.Because that was not a friendly grin and the blue eyes that had been smilingjust a second ago, were now looking at him with an ice cold light that Aloysiusknew all too well.
âWho are you?â he asked. There had been nothing in Mr. Stoneâs file to indicate the man was dangerous;he was just an oil rig worker and art historian, a bit prone to violence and hecould hold his own in a bar brawl, but he was not a stone cold killer.
But the man in front ofhim was. The man in front of him practically radiated danger, from the tips ofthat ridiculous Mohawk to the toes of his scruffy cowboy boots and if Aloysiuslooked closer at those cold blue eyes, he could see the pits of hell wavingback.
âOh, Iâm sorry,â the manwho was not Mr. Stone said again as he took a hold of Aloysiusâ hand. Hesuddenly stood uncomfortably close. Aloysius had not even noticed him moving.âIâm his brother. Eliot Spencer. You may have⊠No, no, no, none of that,â hesaid as Aloysiusâ knees gave out from under him. âLetâs talk first.â
48. Favorite genre to write in.
I love me some good old (Emotional)Hurt/Comfort, especially when combined with the Smarmy Asshole Secretly Softietrope above!

The Boy Next Door (A Janthony Fic)
hey guys! this is the fic of the day and it really got away from me and became a whole thing! enjoy!
prompt: based off of a story I heard from college. Jasmine canât sleep because her neighbor is always having loud sex and her neighbor is...Anthony.Â
------
Jasmine can let it go the first time.
Itâs two in the morning and she had to be up early for classes. The insistent banging against her wall had woken her up and in turn woke her roommate, Pippa, up too.
Living in a shoebox sized dorm room with paper thin walls was not Jasmineâs dream come true but she had to get used to it. Even when her neighbor was having very, very loud sex. Not only was it loud, it was also shaking the walls around them. Jasmine had only made eye contact with Pippa who only rolled her eyes.
But Jasmine lets it go, this time.
She wakes up extra cranky in the morning. She doesnât bother to even try to look presentable; no makeup on and her hair up in a bun, constantly trying to rub the sleep from her eyes.
Pippa is still sound asleep, the girl could sleep through anything and Jasmine was jealous of that.
As quietly as she can, she grabs her bag and walks out the door and as luck would have it, her extremely loud neighbor is coming out of his room too. Heâs shirtless, only clad in a towel with his hair up. She tries not to glare at him but they make eye contact and the little smirk on his face almost sends Jasmine reeling.
She remembers seeing his face during move-in day, the curly hair and freckles impossible to forget. She also remembers telling Pippa that she thought that the boy next door was cute but now thatâs out the window. There was no other feeling than annoyance.
Heâs about to say something to her but before he can, she tightens her grip on her bag and storms off down the hall, leaving before she has a chance to yell at him.
---
âIâm going to the library.â
Jasmine is barely in the room when Pippa tells her this. Without asking her why, she can hear the reason.
âIs he seriously blasting his music right now!?â She tosses her bag on her bed and watches as Pippa gathers all of her stuff from her desk.
âItâs been like this all afternoon, canât even call a noise complaint because itâs not âquiet hoursâ yet.â Pippa huffs, pulling on her shoes.
Jasmine grinds her teeth as she hears the music blasting and reverberating off their walls. The room was already too small and now they had to yell in order to hear each other.
âThatâs it!â Jasmine jumps off her bed and pulls open the door. She walks out into the hall and walks the few steps to his front door and stands there for a second, contemplating if she should yell at him or not.
Instead she chickens out, realizing sheâs not one for confrontation, and instead leaves a note on the whiteboard outside his door.
âDid you give it to him good?â Pippa jokes, standing at the doorway, laughing as Jasmine quickly scrambles back into their room.
âI left a note.â She pauses to watch Pippa look over to read the whiteboard. She hears her roommate giggle and Pippa comes back smiling.
âPlease be courteous to your neighbors? Really Jas?â
Jasmine shrugs. She wasnât sure what to write, not really wanting to start any issues with their guy neighbor. They both look at each other and share a small laugh when the music shifts to another song.
âAlright, Iâm going with you to the library.â Jasmine declares, packing up too. They leave the room while some random Chance the Rapper song starts to play.
----
Two nights in a row of silence; peaceful, beautiful silence. Itâs almost too hard to believe, almost.
Jasmine wakes up to the sound of a bed frame banging against her wall. Itâs followed by the moans and screaming of whoever is doing it. It takes everything in her to not bang back, instead grabbing the sides of her pillow and curving them up to try to cover her ears.
It doesnât work of course, only muffling the noises.
She sits like that for what feels like forever until the couple next door is finished. Jasmine turns her back to the wall and tries to fall back asleep, a quick peek over to see that Pippa is still fast asleep.
Her eyes begin to close and she slowly starts to drift off again before the soft banging begins again. This time she grabs for her headphones off her desk and starts to blast her music, hopeful itâll drown them out.
--
In the morning sheâs more than grumpy.
Pippa doesnât even bother to say anything to her and sheâs out of the room for her early class while Jasmineâs first class isnât until later.
She decides that a shower might help her relax, release the built up tension in her muscles. She canât remember what time she fell asleep, the hours droning on. It felt like all she did was blink before her alarm had woken her up.
Wrapped up in a towel, Jasmine steps out into the hall not paying attention and colliding with a solid body, dropping her shower caddy and all of her stuff falls out.
âOops, sorry!â
She looks up and her blood begins to boil. Itâs Freckles again in only a towel coming back to his room. He leans forward to pick up her stuff but Jasmine is too quick and is already putting everything back in her caddy.
When she stands back up her cheeks turn a soft shade of red when she sees that sheâs only in a towel; that they were both only in towels. Jasmine is so close to him that she realizes that she can count all the freckles on his face if she wanted to.
âSorry, I didnât see you.â He tries to say but Jasmine just shakes her head.
âDonât worry about it.â Itâs harsh and quick, trying to speed up the awkward encounter. She quickly moves around him and walks towards the bathroom again leaving him to stand there.
When she comes back from her shower, sheâs more tense. Not even the warm water could wash away how annoyed she was.
Jasmine changes into her comfy, studying clothes before she walks back out into the hallway. She checks to make sure no one is around before she writes âbe courteous to your neighborsâ again on the guyâs whiteboard, slamming her own room door before sitting down to study.
-----
Itâs at the point in the semester where sheâs overworked.
Most of her days are spent in the library, studying and making notecards or holding study sessions with other classmates. Sheâs also at the point where she thinks sheâs made up of 95% coffee with how much sheâs had in such a short amount of time.
This is also the point in the semester that sheâs fed up with everything and any little thing could set her off. Sheâs passively written about ten notes on her neighborâs whiteboard all ranging from âbe courteous to you neighborsâ to âstop being so damn loudâ with nothing really in between.
Jasmineâs learned that itâs best to just keep her headphones in at night. Her lovely neighbor seemed to be bringing in a different girl every night (not that she was keeping track, they all just sounded the same) but she couldnât hear most of it with headphones it.
But tonight was different. Even with her music blasting in her ears she could still hear everything.
Her eyes pricked with tears, frustrated and the over exhaustion taking over. She turns over to face Pippa, who surprisingly is awake too.
âSeriously? How can anyone be that loud!?â Pippa groans. If she canât even sleep then Jasmine knows itâs an issue.
âIâll talk to him tomorrow, I swear.â
And she keeps her promise.
Jasmine is up early, even though her morning class was cancelled. Sheâs alone in the room, mustering up all her strength to go knock on her neighborâs door.
Sheâs made a speech up in her mind and recited it over and over again. When she hears his door open and close (probably coming back from his morning shower), she gets up and takes a deep breath in. Slowly but surely she makes her way to his door.
Her nerves slowly taking over but she knows that she has to do this. When she knocks on the door itâs so soft she doesnât think heâll hear it but within seconds, the door opens.
Jasmine is face to face with her freckled tormentor and suddenly her whole planned and prepared speech vanishes from her memory, every word disappears when she meets his hazel eyes.
âHey.â He says, smooth and easy, smiling at her.
Jasmine blinks rapidly before she realizes what sheâs here to do.
âI, um, I just wanted to let you know that your obnoxiously loud sex keeps me and my roommate up every night. Well mostly me. My bed is right next to the wall that connects our rooms and...and itâs really loud.â She spills it all out, crossing her arms across her chest and furrowing her brows together.
She watches his reaction morph into a million different things before he starts laughing. Itâs almost enough to make her scream.
âAre you really laughing at me!? I get no sleep because of you and all of the girls you bring around!â Jasmine screeches, her voice getting louder with every word.
âSorry, Iâm sorry. I donât stay here at nightâŠâ He begins to explain, holding his hands up defensively, probably because Jasmine is slowly closing her fists against her sides.
âI work a night shift most nights and itâs probably my roommate, Brett. He moved in this semester, you and your roommate werenât here when he moved in.â He scratches the back of his neck, the blush creeping up his cheeks.
Jasmine peers into their room to see two beds now inside and she turns back to look at him. She closes her eyes briefly in disbelief and chuckles, all this time sheâs hated him and it wasnât even his fault.
âIâm really sorry about him. Heâs really taking this college experience to the extreme. Iâll talk to him about it.â He offers.
âOkay, thank you.â She murmurs, embarrassed that she blamed him. Awkwardly she begins to turn back to go to her room.
âIâm Anthony, by the way.â He calls out after her, causing her to turn back to face him again. âYouâre the one thatâs been writing the passive aggressive notes on our whiteboard huh?â Â
Jasmine purses her lips and tries to look everywhere but him but when she finally looks back up sheâs met with the softest smile.
âMy personal favorite was âdonât be a dick and shut up,â I think that was a real highlight for me.â He teases her.
Jasmine chuckles, that wasnât one of her finer moments. âYeah, sorry again. I-I didnât know it wasnât you. Iâve been so mean to you.â
Anthony shrugs his shoulders. âI wouldâve done worse honestly. Maybe thrown eggs at the door or something.â
That gets her to laugh, all the tension releasing from her body as she casually leans against the small space that separates their rooms. They stand in silence for a few seconds before she spots Pippa walking up to them.
âHey!â Jasmine greets her but Pippa looks both amused and confused.
âHey...whatâs going on?â Pippa looks between the two of them and raises an eyebrow.
âUm, we settled the issue...with the whole noise thing.â Jasmine tells her, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear and smiling.
âOh please donât tell me you two are gonna have sex, please Jas, just wait until Iâm asleep.â Pippa groans and rolls her eyes at her.
âWhat!? No! We just figured out that it was his new roommate!â Jasmine quickly explains, frantic, her eyes going wild.
Jasmine feels all the heat rise up from her neck to her cheeks and when she looks over at Anthony he looks the same exact way.
Pippa just looks between them again and laughs. âOh...okay, you two were just looking at each other like you were mentally undressing one another so I got nervous.â Pippa says and leaves them with that before she walks into their room.
Silently, Jasmine is cursing Pippa in her mind.
âSorry about her...sheâs so crass when itâs midterms week.â Jasmine gives him a small smile before she too turns to head back into her room. Sheâs probably taken up too much of his time already and she was ready to hide in her bed until the end of the year so she didnât have to see him again, every bit of her embarrassed.
âWait, hold on, I didnât even get your name.â He approaches her and theyâre face to face again, so close that sheâs back to counting his freckles.
âOh, itâs Jasmine.â She takes the hand heâs holding out and shakes it.
Anthony smiles and nods. âAre you busy tonight? I know itâs midterms but I know this great coffee shop thatâs open all night, for studyingâŠâ
Jasmineâs lips curl up when she realizes that heâs asking her out and that theyâre both still holding hands. Heâs the perfect stranger, sweet and funny and most definitely not the sex rabbit that she thought he was.
âSure, for studying though. And itâll keep me away from that roommate of yours.â She jokes around with him, the little smile never leaving her face.
âTrue but I heard the coffee shop throws some major ragers though,â He pauses and finally looks down at their hands, âIâll come knock on your door later tonight?â
And she doesnât know why but the little smile he gives her makes her heart jump. âYeah, thatâd be nice.â
Slowly (and a little awkwardly) they both say goodbye and part their ways, Jasmine walking into her room. She peeks over at Pippa who is giving her a look.
âReally?â Pippa just shakes her head and laughs when Jasmine doesnât answer.
Instead she jumps into her bed, smiling like a damn fool, and not getting over meeting the boy next door.

1/3 of the prompts today. enjoy!
386: Youâre safe now. Iâve got you. (edit: forgot to add the second part of the prompt: can you do one where thereâs a car accident but itâs not serious by one of them is still scared?)
âïżœïżœïżœ
He gets the call in the middle of the night.
Anthonyâs heart feels like itâs beating a hundred miles a minute as he races to the hospital. No other thoughts in his mind other than âget there.â
Usually on nights when Jasmine was out heâd wait for her to come home, wait until she was safe inside his apartment, and  safe inside his arms before he could even think about falling asleep. But tonight he had been so tired that he had no chance of staying up.
It wasnât until he got the call that Jasmine was at the ER that he had fully woken up.
Breathing hard, Anthony pushed into the emergency room, sweat beading across his forehead.
âMay I help you sir?â The nurse at the desk asked, calm and trained even in the ER.
âIâm looking for someone, Jasmine Cephas JonesâŠ27 years oldâŠâ He didnât bother with pleasantries as he watched the woman type in her name.
âOne moment please.â
Anthony had his hands up on the desk, nervously looking back at the other beds to see if he could find Jas himself. But thatâs when he hears a familiar voice.
âNo, no I want that guy sued! We couldâve been killed!â Itâs RenĂ©e, hysterical and yelling at a policeman.
Anthony leaves the desk, the nurse taking way too long, and rushes up to her. âRenĂ©e! What happened!? Is everyone okay?â
It takes RenĂ©e a second to register that itâs Anthony but when she does, her eyes soften and her demeanor shifts.
âSome drunk hit us on our way back from the party. They have Jasmine in that exam room over there.â RenĂ©e motions to exam room #3 and wordlessly Anthony nods and runs over to the room.
He takes a deep breath, scared to see whatâs on the other side of the door, but pushes through anyways.
The breath he was holding in suddenly releases in the form of a sigh when he sees her.
Sheâs sitting on the exam bed in a hospital gown, feet dangling and kicking as she waits for a doctor to come in. She smiles the second he steps into the room.
Anthony makes his way to her, quick but not rushed, and he takes her into his arms. When he squeezes her a little too tightly, she groans.
âOh sorry, I-I was just so worried about you. Are you okay? Are you hurt? Has someone come in to see you yet?â All the questions flow out of him as he examines her for himself.
He tilts her chin up to check her face then slightly pulls away to see the rest of her. Other than the gnarly bruise forming on her left arm, she looked perfect.
âIâm fine baby, hit the door of the car pretty hard though. But Iâm okay. RenĂ©eâs probably making it sound way worse than it really is.â She chuckles, eyeing the door that RenĂ©e is right outside of.
âPippa did have to get stitches though but that was minor too. Other than that, I think weâll all live.â Jasmine jokes, finally getting Anthony to ease up. Â
âOh good Iâm glad youâll survive.â He presses a kiss to her forehead and hugs her again just as the doctor walks in.
Theyâre told that other than icing her arm, Jasmine had nothing serious to worry about and that she was free to go.
In the lobby, they meet up again with Renée and Pippa and decided that any action against the drunk driver could be dealt with in the morning, everyone too tired from the night.
Anthony and Jasmine wait for their Uber driver to pull up to them and once the car is in front of them Anthony opens the door for Jasmine. He watches as she hesitates, wrapping her arms around herself and worrying her bottom lip between her teeth.
âYouâre safe now. Iâve got you.â He reassures, seeing her eyes lighten up at his words. He helps her inside the car, the two of them sitting so close together that itâs like their bodies become one; only pulling apart once theyâre back to the apartment.
That night they stay on the couch, restless and unable to sleep. But once Jasmine does fall asleep, Anthony canât help but watch her. His heart suddenly racing when he realizes that the accident couldâve been worse, that she mightâve not been in his arms tonight. But he doesnât dwell on that.
Instead Anthony gives her one last tight squeeze, gently kissing the top of her head with his lips lingering before he falls asleep next to her.

could you do a cute wedding thing? anything you want and I know it's not specific but yeah
hello, itâs me. so this is the first fic of my spring break series (one fic per day)! Iâve also combined this with a really old prompt. hope you all like it!
22. Damn, you clean up good.
ââ
Jasmine grasps the bouquet of flowers in her hands, her heart racing as she waited for her cue.
It was an extremely warm May day and a garden wedding was starting to feel like the worst idea as the hours dragged on. Especially with the bugs constantly flying towards her and the flowers she was holding.
She adjusted the top of her dress again, not knowing why her âperfectlyâ fitted dress kept shifting every time she moved; her shoes digging painfully into her heels too. But as uncomfortable as she was the smile never left her face.
âDamn. You clean up good.â The voice comes up behind her and she already knew who it was before she turned around.
âWhat are you doing!? Youâre supposed to be out there!â She says in a hushed whisper. She looks around her and realizes that the ceremony hasnât completely started yet and that thereâs still time to relax.
âI just wanted to see what you looked like and damn babyâŠâ He pulls her into him and kisses her forehead, the tension slowly leaving her body.
He reads her face and smiles. âAre you nervous? Why?â He tucks a stray hair behind her ear.
âI am and I donât know whyâŠitâs not my wedding. I just donât want to mess this up for Pippa.â Jasmine takes a deep breath in and looks up at him. Even though she was only a bridesmaid at this wedding it still freaked her out.
âJust strut your stuff out there, you look gorgeous, and donât worry about the rest. I heard Groff say that this wedding wasnât gonna be too long. Love you, okay?â He says giving her one final kiss before he had to go to his seat in the crowd.
And heâs right.
As soon as the orchestra begins, she feels the nerves slowly dissipate. She waits until the wedding planner gestures for her turn to walk down the aisle and the second she steps out she makes eye contact with Anthony, his smile so wide.
She makes it to her spot at the end, right next to Renée. It feels like no time at all until they reach the end of the ceremony.
âPippa, Steve, I hope that everyone in this room experiences a love as deep as yours.â Jonathan says and just in that moment Jasmine looks into the crowd and makes eye contact with Anthony, her heart matching the smile on her face.
â-
The reception was in the same place as the wedding, outside in the garden with a wooden dance floor laid out in the middle with tables surrounding it.
Jasmine is chatting with Renée and a few other old Hamilton cast mates when Anthony comes up to her.
âDidnât miss a step.â Anthony says smiling and wrapping his arms around her waist. He smelled faintly of beer and cologne which was intoxicating.
She flips to look at him, the conversation with her friends all forgotten. âHmm, damn baby, you clean up good.â She murmurs his earlier sentiments and laughs when he makes a face at her.
âYeah well it helps that I have such a hot dateâŠâ Anthony leans in to kiss her but is interrupted when Jasmine gets pulled away.
âSorry! Pippaâs throwing the bouquet!â Carleigh takes Jasmineâs hand and leads her to the dance floor.
Anthony stays back with the rest of the guys who are watching and cheering on the girls. Jasmine turns to look at him and shrugs nervously as she stays towards the back of the group.
She isnât sure she wants to catch the bouquet or not, terrified to fight over a bundle of flowers that supposed to symbolize more. While sheâs daydreaming about it, she doesnât realize that itâs already been thrown, and somehow landed right in her open arms.
The cheering and screaming erupts as soon as it happens and she doesnât even realize whatâs happened until she looks down at them.
She turns the look at Anthony who is also getting attacked by his friends who are all whopping and jumping around him. She slowly makes her way over to him, a sheepish grin on her lips.
âGuess you two are next.â Oak jokes, patting Anthonyâs back and leaves the two of them to be alone.
âHeâs just excited to know he might win some money because of us.â Anthony says taking a look at the flowers which are barely alive now.
âHmm, whatâs the wager on us now? Last I heard it was $500 if we get engaged by the end of the year.â Jasmine giggles and takes a seat at their table, tossing the flowers behind her and leaning into Anthony.
âReally? Maybe we should put money into this thing. I think weâd definitely win since I would know when it would happen.â Anthony nods knowingly which makes her laugh.
âYeah, we should. So weâll put money in for getting engaged by the end of the year?â She raises a brow at him.
âWell I canât tell you when exactly but sure, yeah, by the end of the year. Flower bouquet promise.â He grabs for the flowers again and holds it out to her and smiles.
âOkay, flower bouquet promise.â She takes the flowers back from him and leans in to kiss his cheek, turning to look back at the dance floor just in time to see the first dance start.

im about to send a lot so i am sorry in advance. 23, please!
âthis is such an old prompt lol. but here it is, the fic of the day! enjoy!
23. âDelete that immediately.â
ââ
âMeet me outside.âÂ
Jasmine smiled reading the text message. She looked up from where she sat on the stage and excused herself from the remaining cast members who were all enjoying their dinner break.Â
She snuck away into the wings and said small hellos to the stage crew and random cast members she passed. She climbed the stairs up all the way to the top of the theater until she reached the rooftop door.Â
Silently, she pushed it open and the warm sunlight hit her face. âAnthony?â She whispered and peeked out.Â
âOver here!âÂ
She followed the voice, walking out on to the rooftop, and smiled the second she spies Anthony sitting on a picnic blanket.Â
âWhatâs all of this? Whatâs the occasion?â She gestures to everything he has laid out; little sandwiches, a bowl of fruit, and champagne glasses.Â
Jasmine sits down next to him, careful not to disturb any of the food.Â
âNo special occasion, just wanted to have a nice dinner date.â He pours the champagne into her glass and smiles.Â
She looks at him, then the food, and smiles. Itâs the perfect moment sitting up here, alone for the first time in forever, and being able to just enjoy each otherâs company.Â
They ease into their conversation, laughing, and eating their dinner. They slowly lose track of time and the ping of their phones with their stage manager giving them a ten minute call, brings them back down to reality.Â
Anthony gets up to throw away their food and Jas gets lost watching the sunset to notice how long heâs been gone. When he returns to her side, heâs on his phone smiling.
âCâmon letâs go.â She folds the picnic blanket and the two of them make their way back down to the stage, dropping the blanket and extra food in Anthonyâs dressing room.Â
Right before they reach the wings, Anthony pulls her over to him and kisses her, quick but sweet. And they part ways as soon as they hear everyone else coming back to the stage.Â
Jasmine checks her phone one last time, scrolling through her Instagram feed before stopping in her tracks. She double checks to make sure that what sheâs looking at is correct.
Itâs a picture of her sitting down on the picnic blanket, her back to the camera, and staring at the perfect sunset. The caption reads âthe perfect viewâ and of course itâs on Anthonyâs page.Â
She makes her way over to Anthony, pulling him aside to the staircase, everyone else too busy to notice the couple.Â
âDelete that immediately!â She says in a hushed tone.Â
The little smirk on his face annoys her and she folds her arms across her chest.Â
âWhy? Itâs a great picture.â Anthony jokes but turns serious when she glares at him.Â
âOh câmon J, theyâll find out about us one way or another.â He says and she knows heâs right.Â
They arenât really a secret, most of the cast already has a feeling that thereâs something going on between them. But Jasmine wasnât quiet ready yet, not ready to tell people until they were official.Â
âYouâre right, they will find out. But until you ask me to officially be your girlfriend, you have to delete that. Iâm not spending the rest of this rehearsal being bombarded with questions.â She begins to make her way to her spot but Anthony gently grabs her arm to stop her.Â
âOkay, Iâll delete itâŠâ He pauses and then smiles as if heâs about to do something stupid. âSo JasâŠdo you wanna beââÂ
She holds up her finger at him and laughs. âThatâs not how youâre gonna ask me, just for a picture on your feed.â She sneaks a quick kiss to his cheek and leaves him sitting on the staircase, laughing at how he looks as she walks up to her spot.Â

âI didnât want it to end, but I thought youâd be better off.â
lol starting the day off with something from the break-up prompt listâŠoh well.Â
ââ
Anthony could spot her from anywhere, her familiar curly hair still short just like how he remembered her.Â
He steps down from the steps of the venue he was playing a show at and slowly makes his way across the street to the park. Sheâs sitting on a bench, casually watching all the children playing.Â
He braces himself all of a sudden. The last time heâs seen her was in passing at an event and they barely said hi to each other.Â
The last real time they had a conversation was when they broke upâŠ6 years ago.Â
He hasnât heard from her since and has tried not to pay attention to her life either. Anthony, on the other hand, had thrown himself into his music and has been touring the world for the past few years.Â
He barely gets to see New York anymore but enjoys the experience of traveling the world.Â
Awkwardly, he pushes through the gates of the park and makes his way over to Jasmine.Â
The closer he gets, the more he sees that she has changed or aged a single day. Still beautiful and a light wherever she went.Â
His heart stutters when she finally looks up at him; her small frown turning upwards. She stands up and slowly walks up to him; the two of them meeting in the middle.Â
âAnthony?â The way she says his name brings back a flood of memories that suddenly hit him in the chest. It takes him a second to respond.Â
âHey, long time no see.âÂ
âIâŠyeah, I canât believe itâs been this longâŠâ Sheâs about to say something else but a tiny little body collides into her legs.Â
âI found you a flower!â The little voice squeaks up and holds out a dandelion to Jasmine.Â
âOh thank you honey, I-um, go play with your friends.â She tries to get the little girl to leave but she refuses and instead looks up at Anthony.Â
Sheâs got Jasmineâs everything. Her curls, her eyes, her smile, and even the way she stands.Â
Anthony doesnât have to say anything in order for her to notice the way heâs looking at the little girl.Â
âUm, Sophia, this is my friend Anthony.â Jasmine places her hands on the little girlâs shoulders. The little girl doesnât say anything, instead she turns to look at Jasmine, then back to Anthony, and smiles.Â
Sophia is about to say something else but instead her little friend calls for her and she quickly runs over there, leaving Anthony and Jasmine alone again.Â
He doesnât know what to say but thenâŠ
âI didnât want it to end, but I thought youâd be better off. Obviously you are now, I meanâŠshe looks just like you.â Anthony muses, unsure if he should even bring their past up. Sheâs probably with the kidâs dad even though he doesnât see a ring on her finger.Â
âWhatâŠ? Oh, noâŠwait, no Sophia isnât mine. Sheâs my cousinâs daughter! Iâm just babysitting her for the day.â Jasmine quickly defends herself, holding out her hands and laughing.Â
âOhâŠoh! Sorry, she literally looks like a carbon-copy of you, Jas.â His nervous laughter turns into actual belly laughter when the two of them canât contain it.Â
When they finally calm down, Jasmine looks up at him and smiles. âAre you busy? Sophia could spend the whole day here and I hate talking to the PTA mommies around here.âÂ
Anthony chuckles and nods. âNah, not too busy, never too busy to catch up with you.âÂ
The two of them walk to the previously abandoned park bench and sit together, catching up under the Brooklyn sun.Â

"Will you marry me?"
I wrote a thing, here you go. Hope everyone is having a great night!
ââ
Jasmine was never too keen on going to the stagedoor.
She loved meeting her fans, loved seeing everyone but the crowds were getting louder and crazier and she wasnât sure if she was comfortable with that anymore.
But today was a beautiful May day; the sun was out and the warm New York breeze was calling her.
So after the matinee and changing into her regular clothes, she jogs down the stairs towards the stagedoor. She skids to a stop when she reaches the bottom and smiles when she sees Anthony getting ready to go out too.
âI wasnât sure you were actually gonna come out today.â He pulls her into a hug. They wait until the security guard tells them that itâs okay to go out.
âYeah, well, itâs really nice outside. Why, you donât want me out there with you?â Jasmine moves to stand behind him as their security opens the door.
Right as theyâre about to step out, Anthony leans back and says, âYou know I love it when youâre out here with me.â
And then the screams hit them all at once. The fans are behind a barrier but itâs still a lot to take in; Jasmine subconsciously grabbing Anthonyâs bicep as he leads her out to the beginning of the line. The flow is easy though, once they start they keep going.
Jasmine somehow makes it in front of Anthony and sheâs now a few feet away from him. Itïżœïżœs out of her comfort to be out here and have him be so far, even with security standing close by.
The sudden tugging on her leg makes her jump back and gasp. Her hand goes to her heart and she turns to eye the security guard who is busy grabbing things from Anthony.
Her heart is racing and it takes her forever to turn back to the crowd but once she does, she realizes that sheâs overreacted.
âSorry if he scared you! He was just so excited.â The woman says patting her sonâs head, he must be about 4-years-old.
Jasmine smiles and moves back towards the barrier and kneels down to be eye level to him. âHey bud, whatâs your name?â
He nervously shrinks away from her and Jas giggles when he does. âHave you seen the show yet?â She asks, looking up briefly to look at his mom who is nodding.
The little boy mumbles something and Jasmine leans forward trying to hear him over the crowd. âWhat was that buddy?â
âWill you marry me?â The little boy asks, pulling out a plastic ring from his pocket and holding it out to her.
The smile on her face grows so big and her laugh bubbles up from her chest. She looks over to Anthony, who is still chatting with a few fans. She looks back up to the little boyâs mother and they share a little laugh before she turns back to the boy.
âIâm a little old for you but you know what? Yes, yes I will marry you!â She lets him put the ring on the wrong finger and laughs. Jas leans in and gives him a kiss on the cheek before standing back up.
âAnthony! Look! Iâm engaged!â
He turns around so fast to face her that sheâs surprised he doesnât have whiplash. She can read the concern on his face, then the confusion, and then the amusement.
She points down to the little boy and then shows off her fake ring to everyone around them. âHe worked really hard for this ring, can you tell?â
Anthony laughs and walks over to her, taking her hand and examining the ring. âOh yeah, not what I wouldâve picked out for you but I like it.â
Jasmine canât contain her giggles in and watches Anthony kneel down to the little boy. He fakes a mean look but then smiles.
âYou beat me to it man.â Anthony says, shaking his little hand. âYou gotta take care of her, sheâs a good one.â
The little boy just smiles and nods his head. They quickly take a picture with the little casanova and soon are ushered back to the stagedoor.
Anthony pulls her in and looks back down at her hand. âWow, canât believe you left me for a younger man.â
Jasmine rolls her eyes and laughs, looking down at the little plastic ring. âCouldnât say no, sorry.â
âWell baby, when that engagement falls through, just let me know so I can be the one to propose.âÂ
He kisses her cheek and leaves her standing there, what he just said lingering in the air around her.

short and sweet, a little something while I work on the multi-chapter fic.Â
prompt:Â 388. âYouâre too good for me.â
â-
Anthony hears her before he sees her.Â
The loud opening and closing of drawers and the shuffling of things in the bathroom wakes him up.Â
He can tell that sheâs trying to stay quiet but Anthony is a light sleeper and once heâs up, he canât go back to bed. Anthony slides out of bed and lazily makes his way out of the bedroom and to the kitchen.Â
A fresh pot of coffee is already sitting on the counter and piles of random papers are scattered around.Â
Again, he hears her before he sees her. Her combat boots thud across the wooden floor as she rushes past him.Â
âMorning baby.â Anthony murmurs, not sure if she even hears him with how fast sheâs rushing around the apartment.Â
He watches her as she throws random papers and things in her bag. He likes watching her like this. When sheâs on a mission, Jasmine canât be stopped.Â
Anthony knows not to get in her way but the moment she almost slips on the rug in the living room, he has to stop her.Â
âBaby, JasâŠJasmine, hey!â Anthony grabs her arm and looks at her. The frantic look on her face softens when their eyes meet.Â
âI donât have time. I have to go to this audition and if I donât make itâŠAnthony please, I have to goâŠâ Jasmine almost whines which makes him laugh.Â
âJust breathe.âÂ
He knows how important auditions are for her. Jasmine is in a drought, something that just happens in the business sometimes. Jobs are hard to find even after being in such a huge show. He knows that she feels pressure to find something.
âIâm just so nervous. If I donât get thisâŠâÂ
âThen you donât get it and theyâre the stupid ones,â Anthony pauses when he sees the smile form on her face. Itâs been a stressful few weeks for her, so seeing her smile fills his heart.Â
âYou donât have to convince them that youâre talented and beautiful because you already are. Listen, no matter what happens in that room, we donât have to talk about it and we can order youâre favorite food and watch that marathon of Pretty Little Liars.â Anthony presses a kiss to her forehead and wiggles her around in his arms.Â
âYouâre too good for me.â Jasmine looks up at him and cups his face in her hands. She pulls him down to her and kisses him, soft and sweet and everything she needed.Â
âOkay, Iâm gonna be late. I love you.â Jasmine pulls away and grabs her stuff.
Anthony smiles, watching as Jasmine strides out of the apartment, a little more confident than she was before.Â

every fandom needs a fake dating au so please do number 65!
hello, hi, itâs me. sorry itâs been a while guys but Iâm filling out a few prompt tonight.
prompt:Â 65. âHold my hand dammit, we gotta make this look convincing!â
ââ-
âRemember, weâve been dating for only a few months, we met at rehearsals and thatâs how it all startedâŠJasmine, are you listening?â
Anthony pulls into an empty parking spot and turns to look at her. As annoyed as he was that she was his date to his brotherâs engagement party, he had to admit that she looked beautiful tonight.Â
âYou know, this wouldnât have been an issue if you hadnât lied to your family that you had a girlfriend.â She points out, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear.Â
âPlease, Jasmine, just this once can you play nice and listen to me? You gotta make it look believable that youâre a nice girlâŠâ Anthony half-teases but it makes Jasmine rolls her eyes at him.Â
Jasmine wasnât his first choice for this. After lying and telling his whole family that he had a girlfriend to bring to Marioâs engagement party, he couldnât figure out how to backpedal. So he had to find his âgirlfriend.âÂ
He asked everyone, everyone, Pippa was busy, all of the ensemble girls were too, and RenĂ©eâŠwell sheâs married.
His last choice resort was Jasmine.Â
They first met and Anthony thought she was beautiful and had a crush on her but that ended quickly when they both started bickering over everything in rehearsals. Now they canât even stand being in the same room together.Â
âOkay? All of my family is a lot to handle and they can smell a lie, Iâm serious, Jas-âÂ
âOkay, jeez. Calm down babe, I know how to make it believable.â Jasmine smirks and the two of them make their way out of the car.Â
As they make their way to the front of the building, Anthony reaches for her hand but she pulls away.Â
âHold my hand dammit, we gotta make this look convincing!â Anthony holds out his hand again and Jasmine reluctantly takes it, they intertwine their fingers and Anthony leads her inside.Â
It isnât long before his mother and sister find them, rushing up to them and smiling.
âOh! Itâs so nice to finally meet the girl thatâs got my Anthony talking!â His mom pulls Jasmine into a hug and without hesitation Jasmine hugs her back, taking on the role of fake girlfriend really well.Â
She hugs Stephanie too and the smile on her face is huge. Jasmine really is the perfect fake girlfriend.
âHe doesnât stop talking about you.â Stephanie says, pointing to her brother and pulling him into a hug too.Â
âReally? I hope itâs all good things because he never has anything nice to say!â Jasmine teases, grabbing Anthonyâs arm and squeezing it. He fakes a smile and pulls her back to him.Â
Mama Ramos and Stephanie lead them to their seats and Jasmine leans into Anthony. âYou tell them about me?â
âYeah, had to hype you up, make it seem like I was actually dating you,â Heâs about to catch her up to all the stories heâs told his family but heâs interrupted.Â
âWhat the hell!? There he is!â Mario comes up to him and pulls him into a huge bear hug. âAnd heâs brought the infamous Jasmine, hey sister.âÂ
Mario pulls her in too and now the both of them are stuck in a Mario bear hug.Â
âI canât believe sheâs actually real, I really thought you were fake Jasmine, he hasnât had a girlfriend in forever. Whatâd you do to get him?â Mario is joking but that doesnât stop the blush from coming up on to Anthonyâs face.Â
âWeâre here to celebrate you Mario and finally getting engaged.â Anthony tries to deflect the conversation. But it doesnât seem to work when he gets stuck in telling Mario the story of how the two of them got together again.Â
In the ten minutes heâs been chatting with his brother, heâs lost track of Jasmine.Â
âUh, wait hold up, Mario did you see where Jas went?â Anthony wasnât worried that she had left, he was worried that she was off somewhere forgetting what heâs told his family about her or making things up.Â
Anthony walks around the giant ballroom looking for her. He almost gives up when he hears her giggle somewhere behind him.Â
When he turns around, he canât help but smile.Â
Jas is sitting down at a table, his baby cousin in her lap, and sheâs making faces at her.Â
Anthony makes his way over to them and smiles. âWhenâd you find her?â He asks and waves to the little baby.Â
âSomeone just handed her to me and Iâve been playing with her ever since,â She pauses and looks up at him, âYouâre not here to take her away are you? I like her better than you.â Jasmine puts on a baby voice and starts to make faces at the baby again.Â
Anthony chuckles when one of Jasâ faces makes the baby give a full belly laugh. He watches Jasmine intently, smiling wider the more he watches her.Â
Jasmine finally looks up at him and furrows her brows together.Â
âWhat!? Why are you staring at me like that?â She repositions the baby to sit in her lap and she juggles her foot up and down.Â
âNothing, itâs justâŠweird to see that you have a heart.â Anthony says. He gives her a real genuine smile and Jasmine smiles back at him.Â
âOkay, come on, we gotta give her back. Dinner is starting soon.âÂ
Jasmine and Anthony make their way to everyone else; Anthony walking a little bit closer to Jasmine.
â
The dinner goes off without a hitch.Â
Everyone is more than convinced that theyâre dating and Anthony at one point even believes it. The way she leans into him, or how she squeezes his hand, or smiles at him at certain points has Anthonyâs heart in his throat.Â
He suddenly doesnât feel so annoyed with her.Â
The car ride back to her place was silent until he pulls up to her apartment.Â
âThanksâŠagain, for being my fake girlfriend.â Anthony turns to look at her again.Â
âYeah, sure, I really like your family.â Jasmine smiles, a real smile at him.Â
âI think they like you more than they like me honestly, theyâll probably keep asking me about you.â
âWell maybe you should keep me around then.â
Anthony is taken aback by her comment but before he can say anything, Jasmine is out of the car and making her way up to her apartment.Â

Is this too late to post? Oh well! A conversation @jan-thonyâ and I had inspired this little snippet!
341. âYou are the best thing thatâs ever happened to me.â
ââââ
âOh wow, Jasmine you look amazing!âÂ
Jasmine turned around, the dress swishing as she did. Every inch of the skirt moved along with her every time she moved. Sarah moved around her, fixing the bunched up parts of her dress.Â
Pippa, RenĂ©e, and Stephanie all stood around her too, their bouquets in their hands already.Â
Jasmineâs didnât know she could be this happy. Her heart filled just with her best friends standing around her.Â
âHeâs gonna die when he sees you in that. Iâm serious, he might pass out.â Pippa chimes in and leans forward to fix a piece of fluff in Jasmineâs hair.Â
Before Jasmine can respond, the door opens and all of the girls huddle around her, scared that itâs Anthony trying to come in and see her before the ceremony.
âOh relax girls, Anthonyâs not getting in this room.â Itâs her mother, all dressed up too and ready for the wedding. âNow let me have a look at you.âÂ
Jasmine walks over to her and does a little spin, which causes the dress to bunch up again, but she doesnât care because it gets her mom to laugh. Â
âAll grown up and getting married, well, your dad wants to see you before it all starts.â Kim gives her a huge hug, squeezing extra tight before pulling away. She notices her mom wipe a single tear away before she takes her out into the hallway where her dad is waiting for her.Â
Without a word, he pulls her into a hug.Â
âMy little girlâŠâ He sniffs and Jas sighs.Â
âDadâŠcome on nowâŠâ
âNo, I get to have this moment too now. Listen, youâre my only child and I need this for myself,â He pauses and pulls away to look at her, âYouâre the best thing thatâs ever happened to me, Jasmine, you need to know that.âÂ
âDadâŠstop it, youâre gonna make me cry.â She feels the tears swell up and it takes everything in her not to cry.Â
Her dad has a tight but gentle grip on her shoulders, just like he used to do when she was little and he had something really important to tell her. She almost feels like sheâs 7-years-old again, just her and her dad.Â
âIâm just so happy, this is all I want for you, happiness.â Ron finishes, wiping the tears that have fallen down his face already.Â
And thatâs enough to make Jasmine start crying too, silent but wet tears stream down her face and she tries to quickly wipe them away too. If sheâs a mess now, she canât imagine what itâll be like in a few minutes when sheâs walking down the aisle.
âAlright, okay, enough waterworks. Just remember, you were my girl first.â Ron says, kissing her temple and giving her another hug.Â
Jasmine just laughs, grabbing the tissue that Sarah had quietly handed her from behind, and looped her arm through her dadâs before they made their way down to the ceremony.Â

I ride a lot of trains. Hereâs one I came up with a long time ago on the way to work one day.
prompt:Â 368. âYou know my name?â
ââ-
Jasmine rushed down the stairs to get to try and catch her train.Â
If she missed this one, she would have to wait another 15 minutes which would cause her to be late to her audition.Â
She barely misses the last step on the staircase before she skids to a stop to look for an open door on the train. Slowly in front of her, theyâre all closing. Panic sets in when she realizes that sheâs gonna miss this one until something catches her eye.Â
Someoneâs stuck their foot out of the door, making it stop from closing and Jasmine doesnât think twice to run over there and squeeze through the door just in time.Â
She probably looks like a mad-woman, her hair all over the place and sheâs lugging around a huge bag with what feels like a thousand scripts. She looks up to thank whoever held the door for her and stops when she sees him.
Heâs in a perfectly crisp button up, hair pulled back in a man bun, freckles sprinkled across his face. Her heart leaps in her chest when he smiles at her.Â
âThank you.â She barely whispers it and sheâs not sure if heâs even heard her but he just nods before he goes back to looking at his phone.Â
Jasmine goes to find a seat and pulls out her script to study.Â
â
Anthony gets on the same train everyday to go into the city. He never misses it and heâs almost sure that he knows everyone that rides this train.
When he sees the frantic girl in the station, he canât help it and holds open the door for her. He saw it in her eyes that it was urgent to catch this train.Â
That was a few weeks ago. Ever since then, Anthonyâs been combing the cars to see if he could find that girl again.Â
He feels absolutely stupid. He knew how impossible it was to find someone in such a huge place like New York but still he looked for her in every face.Â
Heâs giving up hope when suddenly itâs like fate.Â
Anthonyâs running late, something that he doesnât find himself doing. He rushes down to the station and doesnât realize that heâs about to bump into someone until itâs too late.Â
âOof, oh jeez, Iâm sorry.â Anthony grabs her hips to keep her from falling and he tries to steady himself too. He ends up tripping on her bag and theyâre both on the ground.Â
Anthony looks up and sees his train leaving and turns to face whoever he just ran into. âSorry, I was running late and I d-didnât mean to-â He cuts himself off when he sees her face.Â
He tries to help her up but she ignores him and does it herself and grabs her bag. Â
âSorry againâŠâ They make eye contact and Anthony feels the heat rise up in his cheeks when she smirks at him.Â
âNo worries.â She awkwardly shuffles a little over, a small distance forming between them.Â
Anthony wants to say something, he should. Heâs been looking for this girl for so long and now that sheâs right beside him he suddenly canât say anything. His throat feels dry and his hands are clammy.Â
He knows heâs missed his opportunity when the next train pulls up and she quickly makes her way over to the door. Anthony silently follows but lets all the other people go in front of him.Â
They end up sitting across from each other, silence and awkward eye contact makes up the rest of the ride into the city.
â
Jasmine stoops down to pick up the piece of paper at her feet, quickly looking over it. When she looks up, she sees him rushing over to her.Â
The wind had blown the sheet from his hand and Jas had seen the whole thing.Â
âThanks! Lucky you caught that for me.â She hands it over to him.Â
âNo worries, Anthony, right?â Jasmine smiles bright, pulling her coffee close to her chest as they stand next to each other waiting for the train to bring them back to Brooklyn.Â
âYou know my name?â He nervously rubs his hands together and looks at her.Â
âIt was on your music sheetâŠâ She points out, causing him to look down and nod.Â
âOh right, yeah, itâs Anthony. Nice to finally meet you.â He holds out his gloved hand to her and she takes it and shakes it, their hands lingering a little longer than usual before she tucks her hand back in her pocket.Â
âJasmine, nice to finally meet you too.â After all this time, Jasmine finally gets to meet the mysterious guy on the train.Â
âTwo ships passing in the night, thatâs us.â Anthony stuffs the paper back in his backpack before he turns back to her.Â
Thereâs a silent beat before Jasmine tries to conjure up some courage to say something else.Â
âSo work out here in the city?â Her coffee goes up to her lips, taking a sip while she watches him.Â
âOh yeah, I, uh, Iâm in a workshop for this musical. Itâs really new so I donât know where itâll go.â He talks with his hands and it makes Jasmine smile. The way his eyes light up when he talks about work and how excited he gets.
âOh really? Iâm auditioning for a musical too, itâs also really new but who knows.âÂ
Anthonyâs smile makes her heart race a little faster.Â
âThatâs awesome, Iâm sure youâll get it. Youâll have to hit me up on that show when it gets to Broadway.âÂ
She rolls her eyes and giggles. âYeah, if it even makes it there, or if I even get the part.â
âTheyâd be stupid not to pick youâŠc-cause of your voice, itâs probably beautiful and y-youâre beaut-um yeah, theyâŠtheyâd be stupidâŠ.â He stumbles on his words and Jasmine just smiles.Â
Sheâs about to comfort him and tell him itâs okay but their train suddenly pulls up to the station. She walks forward to the door and turns back when she realizes that Anthony hasnât followed her.Â
âYou coming?â Jasmine says over her shoulder and she giggles when he jogs up to catch up to her.Â
They make it just in time before the door closes on them and they sit together on the train headed home to Brooklyn. Â

Prompt: "You sent so many drunk texts⊠I had to come over and make sure you were okay.â
my short break from writing one of my final papers due this weekâŠ
ââ
Anthony slowly rouses from his sleep, the constant pinging of his phone being too much.Â
Itâs almost 3 in the morning and he has to be up for an early call time for the movie he was working on. Heâs tired every night he comes home and tonight wasnât an exception.Â
He rolls over to one side, feeling the cold side of his bed and shivering before he turns to the other side to reach for his phone on the nightstand.Â
Just as he grabs for it another ping goes off. He flips the phone over to look at it and his heart skips a beat.Â
Every single message is from Jasmine. Itâs been months since theyâve spoken to each other, their breakup mutual but it was difficult.Â
He slides his phone open and reads the first message.Â
âHeeeeeey!âÂ
He scrolls through the messages and the more he reads, the more he realizes that sheâs drunk. The messages getting harder to read because her words start jumbling together. By the end of the 20+ messages, Anthony is dressed and walking out the door.Â
He calls her, not knowing where she is or who sheâs with but knowing that he wants to make sure sheâs okay.Â
No answer, just voicemail.Â
By the time he makes it to her apartment, heâs called her about what seems like a hundred times and checked her social media for any updates. At this point heâs more than worried. Jas never loses control but the way her drunk texts were coming in raised some red flags.Â
Anthony knocks on her door, waiting a few seconds, and then knocks again; louder this time. Thereâs no answer so he knocks again, worry rising up in him.
Just then he hears noises from the other side of the door, foot steps heavy on the wood, and thenâŠ
âAnthony!â Jasmine slurs his name and the big dopey grin on her face just screams how drunk she is. He doesnât even know the last time heâs seen her like this.Â
âWhatâs up!?â Sheâs giggly and smiling like thereâs no tomorrow. Sheâs in sweats and her hair is up in a messy bun, her glasses low on her face.Â
âYou sent so many drunk textsâŠI had to come over and make sure you were okay.â He tried to peer into the apartment to see if anyone was with her. But Jas puts her hand on his chest and pushes him slightly.Â
She furrows her brows together before she speaks again. âUh-uh, nope, you canât come inside.â Jasâ hand is still on his chest and he can feel the heat radiating there.Â
âI-I wasnât. Jas, I just wanted to make sure you were okayâŠare you alone? And drinking?â He didnât mean it to come off so judgmental but even a drunk Jas read it that way.Â
âPippa was here earlier if you need to know.â She seems to sober up quickly, her arms crossing even though she almost loses her balance.Â
âI wasnât judging you. I wanted to make sure youâre okay thatâs all.â He tries to hide the fact that heâs glad that she hadnât been alone or with a guyâŠ
Thereâs a pause before Anthony speaks again. âPlus, I just, uh, got worried and I still care about you Jasmine.â He watches her eyes sober up too, softening to his words. He clearly still cared if he was willing to walk a few blocks down to her apartment in the middle of the night.Â
âUgh, Iâm too drunk for this right now. You canât say something like thatâŠa-and not expect me to be a mess.â She back to shoving him back out of her door frame.Â
âJu-just call me tomorrow.â She says.Â
He doesnât know if sheâs serious, doesnât know if this is just drunk Jasmine talking but he nods his head, giving her one last look before he walks back down the dark sidewalk home.Â

ooh can you please do 335??
this one is short and my last one for the night, enjoy!
335. âWhy donât they just kiss already?â
â
âOw, Pippa youâre stepping on my foot.ââJesus, thatâs my hair Oak!âÂ
âGuys, shush or theyâll hear us!âÂ
A small group of the cast crowded together to look out the window of Pippaâs new apartment. They were all trying to look over to spy on Anthony and Jasmine, who were alone outside on the patio.
The whole cast and crew knew that there was something going on between the two of them, ever since rehearsals started it was like the two of them were puppies, constantly circling and following each other around.Â
âWait, what did he sayâŠ? Did he say the word love?â Lin tried to jump up to get a better view but Daveedâs hair was in the way.Â
âNo, he said bug, there was a bug on her.â RenĂ©e corrected, maneuvering around so that sheâs right next to Pippa.Â
The two of them watching intently as Anthony and Jas awkwardly lean in closer and closer and..
âDamn it, why donât they just kiss already!?â Lin half says, half shouts. He gets a glaring look from everyone and they turn back to see that theyâve been caught.
The young couple looking at all of them and Anthonyâs shaking his head at them.Â
âSorry, sorry, you guys go on with youâre business. Donât worry about usâŠwe were just trying to look at the, plantsâŠâ Oak tries to get them out of it but obviously fails.Â
âWe knew you were there the whole time.â Jas says, nervously tucking a strand of hair back behind her ear.Â
âOh, okay, sorry. Weâll leave now.â Pippa turns around and starts to usher the cast away from the window and as she does, Lin is still standing there.
âLin, câmon, leave them alone.â RenĂ©e calls out to him. âAw, I wanted to see them kiss!â Lin whines and Jas and Anthony just laugh and move away from everyoneâs sights this time.Â

94! thanks
Hey @jan-thony remember this conversationâŠyeahâŠ
94. âI donât know what I did to deserve you.â with Jasmine and Anthony learning about love from the little old couple that owns their favorite flower shop (au).
ââ
The walk from the theater to the subway station wasnât a long walk.Â
Honestly they could just take the closer subway but their regular route was their favorite.Â
Jasmine and Anthony were able to take their time and pass by all the little mom-and-pop shops and restaurants that they loved so much.Â
They were hand in hand like always when they got to their favorite little flower shop. The elderly couple that owned the place just getting ready to close up.Â
âGood evening Mr. Randall, Mrs. Etta!â Anthony said as they walked into the shop.
In between shows this was their usual stop, coming in to say hello to their favorite couple.Â
Mr. Randall and Mrs. Etta have been married for 65 years. Every time they had the chance to come in, the couple would tell them stories of how they met, their wedding day, Mr. Randallâs time in the war, or raising their kids. They learned parts of history every time they visited.Â
âIf it isnât our favorite young lovers!â Mr. Randall said with a gruff voice and a smile. âEtta, honey, the kids are here!âÂ
âMy biological ones or the ones that actually like us?â Mrs. Etta chuckled, walking out of the back room to greet Jasmine and Anthony.Â
They all greet each other, hugging and catching up.Â
âYou two never come by anymore.â Mrs. Etta remarks, spraying the flowers with her pink spray bottle. The two of them still working to close the shop and at this point Jas and Ant know the drill and start to help out too.Â
âWeâve been so busy, sorry.â Anthony apologizes, he honestly misses seeing them and he knows that Jas does too.Â
âHeard you two went to some fancy award show, the Tonyâs or something like that?â Mr. Randall points to them when he talks as if he doesnât heâll lose track of them.Â
âYeah we we-â Jas starts but is interrupted, which sheâs used to because theyâre so old.Â
âYou wanna know the story of when me and Etta went to a fancy award show?â
They both nod their heads and look at each other, sharing a laugh before turning their attention back to Mr. Randall.Â
He starts his story. Talks about how back in the day you could get into anything if you were dressed up nice enough and how they both wore their prom outfits to the award show because they was the fanciest things they owned.Â
âYou know, Etta was way above my league, still is! This hot shot actor comes up to her and starts talking to her, telling her how pretty she is. Weâre only dating at the time right? I think, âthis is it, youâre gonna lose her to this actorâ but you know what Etta does?âÂ
Jasmine and Anthony lean in, waiting for the punchline to the story.Â
âI told him to fuck off!â Mrs. Etta suddenly yells, clapping her hands and laughing.Â
Anthony and Jas start to laugh too, not being able to contain the fact that little old Mrs. Etta just yelled that out loud.Â
âShe sure told him off. And sheâs done that to every other guy thatâs ever tried to talk to her,â Mr. Randall turns to his wife and smiles, âI donât know what I did to deserve you.â He kisses his cheek and smiles.
Anthony reaches over and grabs Jasmineâs hand, squeezing it as they both look at the elderly couple.Â
âAlright, thatâs enough of that. Go home you two, get some rest.â Mr. Randall says, they usually arenât showy with their relationship but Jas and Ant can tell that they are both still very much are in love with each other.Â
âFor you my dear.â Mr. Randall hands Jas a pink rose, something he does every time they visit and they say their goodbyes.Â
As Jasmine and Anthony walk back down the sidewalk, still hand in hand, Jas leans into Anthony.Â
âThatâs how I want us to be when weâre 85, old and still in love.â She sniffs her rose and looks up at him.Â
âOf course, I promise.â And itâs a promise he knows heâll keep for her.Â
