Have you seen the UCLA game yesterday? What do you think about Janiah Barker on the Fever, she's someone we desperately need.
I mean she's only a junior so she won't be declaring for the draft this year but I could see some potential of her being on the Fever, she could be a strong pick in the future
(Edit): My mistake I forgot the draft is in 2025 and Janiah has declared for the draft

BBALLLVR8'S THOUGHTS ON PRESEASON AP POLL 1-5
One of the first times I agree with almost all of the rankings
SC - They only lost Kamilla to the draft, returned everyone else, added Joyce Edwards who you could argue was the top player in her class.. added maryam dauda who stretches the floor. This was the obvious choice.
UConn - They lost a good chunk of their scoring with Aaliyah being drafted, but will bring in Sarah who can score at all three levels- so she will stretch the floor which will give Jana/Ayanna more room to work in the post. Azzi who is the best shooter on the team will be back on the floor sooner than later. Also brought in Kaitlyn who adds a scoring factor to the pg position (if paige isn't going to be the pg, most likely she will not). I think #2 is the correct ranking
USC- Brought in the #1 recruiting class with the addition of KikI Iriafien who is probably the best power forward in WCBB, brings in veteran presence with Talia Van Oelhoffen who can also score when need be. I am kind of iffy about how Juju is going to play being that she no longer has to be the #1 option. I agree with them being #3, but I also wouldn't have been upset if they were lower.
Texas- Rori Harmon will be back on the court, which will allow Madison Booker to play in her rightful position, they bring in Laila Phelia who can score very very well lol. They bring in some great freshman- I agree with this ranking
UCLA- Brings back the core of their scoring, adds in Timea Gardiner and Janiah Barker who will be very great additions to this roster. I am hoping that KiKi Rice takes on a bigger role this year and makes smarter choices. - I agree with this ranking at #5.

which college players do you think are into women?
well there are the ones who are like out and proud
kate martin of iowa, aubrey griffin and ayanna patterson of uconn, shyanne sellers and faith maisonius of maryland, georgia amoore of virginia tech, kateri poole of lsu, jada williams of arizona, janiah barker of tamu, and i’m sure i’m forgetting a bunch but…
then there are the ones that we speculate to be queer
caitlin “i flirt with all my female interviewers” clark, paige “i have my tongue out in every pic and i love gay crop tops” bueckers, azzi “i’m in love with my best friend” fudd, kk “thank you to my man” arnold, hailey “it’s really just the nose ring” van lith

My thoughts on this draft board:
-Paige similar to Chelsea Gray and Chris Paul????! This is just disrespectful! Yes, she needs to shoot more
-Janiah Barker at 2 is a choice....I go to TAMU and it physically hurt to watch her
-Raven Johnson??? When is SC gonna stop tricking people? They are not good at developing guards
-Aneesah is going top 5 or at the very least top 7. Trust her tape
-Azzi was the 13th guard listed and 18th overall, but some of those above her are interesting 🤔. In my opinion, she's the 8th best guard.
Truthfully, as long as PB is 1 the rest don't matter to me 🤷🏾♀️

Thoughts????
1. Dallas: Paige Bueckers
2. Sparks: Olivia Miles
3. Sky: Sonia Citron
4. Mystics: Te-Hina PaoPao
5. Valkyries: Kiki Iriafen
6. Mystics: Aneesah Morrow
7. New York: Georgia Amoore
8. Fever: Dominique Malonga
9. Storm: HVL
10. Sky: Shyanne Sellers/Saniya Rivers
11. Lynx: Sedona Prince
12. Mercury: Ajsa Sivka/Janiah Barker
(#3 and #4 are interchangeable/#8 and #11 are interchangeable)
sky need to prioritize a pg more than anything. i also just don't see kiki falling that low despite a lot of those teams having so many forwards. i think a lot of those teams could possibly do some trading in anticipation for her. also hvl is putting up good stats but she's too small and is playing against lower level teams. she's gonna go second round. georgia is also a little high but still first round pick.

Adidas Spotlights Hailey Van Lith for March Madness, Offers Insight on Groundbreaking NIL Network
Adidas has just released its latest commercial featuring their partner, Hailey Van Lith, ahead of one of the most exhilarating events in sports. This commercial is part of Adidas's recent campaign aimed at assisting both elite and grassroots athletes in overcoming pressure and rediscovering the love and joy of sport.
Chris Murphy, Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing at Adidas, emphasized the brand's commitment to helping athletes reconnect with the joy of playing sports amidst high-stakes moments in their careers. The focus is on inspiring athletes, with Hailey Van Lith serving as a beacon for the next generation, reminding them to enjoy the game they love.
This ambition was officially unveiled last month, with Adidas bringing together various sporting icons, including eight-time WNBA All-Star Nneka Ogwumike, to showcase how top athletes manage pressure and inspire others to do the same with the rallying cry of 'You Got This'. As the tournament approaches, Adidas is partnering with Hailey Van Lith to encourage both elite and everyday athletes to embrace the essence of sport as a game and play with freedom.
Van Lith herself, a star guard and Adidas partner, shares her perspective on facing challenges head-on, which has shaped her into the competitor she is today. She stresses the importance of confidence in overcoming pressure, enabling athletes to approach competitive moments with enthusiasm rather than fear.
One of Adidas's initiatives to help athletes play without pressure is through empowering them both on and off the court. This includes their NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) network, launched in March 2022, which provides opportunities for student-athletes at Adidas-partnered Division 1 schools to benefit from their image and likeness. The network has already seen significant engagement, with over 12,000 student-athletes participating across various sports.
During the upcoming tournament, Adidas will feature several NIL Network athletes on social media, showcasing their unique styles with Adidas products and sharing personal stories of overcoming pressure.
Adidas plans to continue investing in and evolving the NIL network, based on insights gathered over the past two years, and will also educate student-athletes on growing NIL opportunities through visits to university campuses nationwide.
Furthermore, Adidas has expanded its NIL roster with recent signings, including Texas A&M Women's Basketball forward Janiah Barker, who joins the Adidas family as the brand's newest NIL athlete. Barker, a standout player, brings her talents and achievements to the forefront, embodying Adidas's commitment to long-term equity in sports.
As the tournament unfolds, Adidas invites you to explore more about their campaign and stay updated on their social media channels for the latest updates and highlights. Visit www.adidas.com/us/yougotthis for more information and follow Adidas on Instagram and TikTok for real-time updates throughout the tournament.

I have SC winning comfortably. I think at first it might be close, but I’m not impressed by UCLA guards tbh. They should surely play through Betts, but I also don’t fully trust Cori Close as a coach 😭. Timea has been impressive and Janiah Barker has been doing better off the bench. We’ll so though 🤷♀️. Still have SC winning
oh yeah, there was another thing that I meant to add is that three of SC post players at least played one season with Kamilla so they were able to bang against 6’7 and even though that’s in practice and not in the game I still think that them having that experience will help them.
I also know it was the first game of the season, but Louisville sticking that close to them also makes me feel like South Carolina could probably just run them out the gym😂.

The same guy who made that draft analysis on Azzi made a mock draft with 2 other people. And their consensus was Paige 1, Janiah Barker 2… Azzi 18
yeah i saw the list which seemed pretty insane but i have more hopes for the scouting report cause i've heard good things.

10. Sky: HVL/Georgia Amoore/Shy Sellers
11. Lynx: ^^^^^^^^
12. Mercury: Janiah Barker
I like Sonia to the sky I feel like she’s very underrated.
i’d probably put Te-hina to the sky as well (but who’s to say she’ll still be available)
I also think lauren is staying in college, but I guess aneesah could be used for depth, being that they already have a forward that they just drafted so.
I like Kiki to the Valkyries. She’ll still be in Cali, but I don’t think the Sparks need her.
I also think Rori is coming back to college
my thing with the Sedona is, she gives me lazy and I wouldn’t take her in the first round. I would probably take her if she’s still available late second round.
I haven’t watched Dominique so I don’t really have any thoughts on that
honestly, if I’m the Mystics, I might take Shyanne at four which sounds crazy, but I think she could be valuable.
I think Georgia to the lynx might be good because they do need a traditional point guard or her to the liberty
if I’m the mercury, I may take HVL
I don’t see Janiah coming out in this draft
