Data 29 grudnia 1949 roku jest szczególnie znacząca w dziejach polskiej kinematografii. Ówczesne Ministerstwo Kultury i Sztuki powołało bowiem w tym dniu do istnienia rozmaite instytucje filmowe – rzecz jasna jako „przedsiębiorstwa państwowe”. Większość tych podmiotów powołano zbiorowo, w jednym zarządzeniu, natomiast łódzką Wytwórnię Filmów Oświatowych powołano zarządzeniem osobnym, „indywidualnym”. Z utworzonych wówczas licznych instytucji przetrwały do dziś już tylko dwie: warszawska WFDiF i łódzka WFO. Ciekawostką jest fakt, że WFO już w dniu narodzin miała niemały dorobek – faktycznie bowiem funkcjonowała przy ulicy Kilińskiego 210 w Łodzi już od roku 1945 jako Wydział Filmów Oświatowych Instytutu Filmowego. Stąd wśród licznych sukcesów Wytwórni wymienia się także nagrodę na MFF w Cannes w roku 1946 – za film „Wieliczka” Jarosława Brzozowskiego. Niemniej jednak, oficjalnie, pod obecną nazwą, Wytwórnia Filmów Oświatowych w Łodzi została powołana do istnienia 29 grudnia 1949 roku, dlatego też w roku bieżącym (2024) świętuje Jubileusz 75-lecia nieprzerwanej, twórczej działalności. Niewiele jest w Polsce instytucji filmowych o tak długiej tradycji i tak bogatym dorobku. Przez wszystkie te lata, funkcjonując pod tą samą nazwą i tym samym adresem, WFO była jednym z głównych filarów „Łodzi Filmowej”, zyskując zasłużoną renomę ważnego ośrodka polskiej sztuki filmowej. Zrealizowano w Oświatówce imponującą ilość blisko 5 tysięcy filmów, które zdobyły ponad 1200 nagród festiwalowych. Tylko początkowo były to filmy edukacyjne i popularnonaukowe. Po roku 1956 zaczęły powstawać w Wytwórni filmy wszelkich gatunków – w tym dokumentalne, eksperymentalne i fabularne. Domeną Oświatówki stały się filmy przyrodnicze, równie bujnie rozwijał się tu film o sztuce, a osobną i charakterystyczną dla WFO „specjalnością” było produkowanie filmów dla peerelowskiej rzeczywistości nietypowych i niechętnie gdzie indziej realizowanych – filmów nowatorskich, ambitnych artystycznie, noszących wyraźne piętno oryginalnej wyobraźni twórczej.
Bliskość łódzkiej Szkoły Filmowej i otwartość Wytwórni na debiutantów sprawiły, że wielu mistrzów polskiego kina rozpoczynało tu swe kariery, choćby Wojciech Jerzy Has, Krzysztof Zanussi, Krzysztof Komeda, Zbigniew Rybczyński, Grzegorz Królikiewicz, Juliusz Machulski, Jerzy Zieliński, Krzysztof Ptak, Piotr Sobociński, Jacek Bławut, Marek Koterski, Jan Jakub Kolski, Maciej Drygas. Po roku 1989, mimo zasadniczych zmian w formule funkcjonowania wywołanych przewrotem politycznym i gospodarczym w Polsce, wbrew rozmaitym przeciwnościom, Wytwórnia utrzymała swój status liczącego się producenta wartościowych filmów. Wielka w tym zasługa kolejnych szefów WFO z trudnego okresu "po przełomie" - Zbigniewa Godlewskiego, Andrzeja Traczykowskiego i Katarzyny Madaj-Kozłowskiej.

The date of 29 December 1949 is particularly significant in the history of Polish cinematography. On that day, the then Ministry of Culture and the Arts established various film institutions - obviously as ‘state enterprises’. Most of these entities were established collectively, in a single decree, while Wytwórnia Filmów Oświatowych in Łódź was established by a separate, ‘individual’ decree. Of the numerous institutions created at the time, only two have survived to this day: the Warsaw WFDiF and the Łódź WFO. It is interesting to note that WFO already had quite a legacy on the day of its birth - in fact, it had been operating at 210 Kilińskiego Street in Łódź since 1945 as the Educational Films Department of the Film Institute. Hence, among the many successes of the WFO was an award at the IFF in Cannes in 1946 for Jarosław Brzozowski's film ‘Wieliczka’. Nevertheless, officially, under its current name, Wytwórnia Filmów Oświatowych in Łódź was established on 29 December 1949, and therefore this year (2024) celebrates its 75th anniversary of uninterrupted creative activity. There are few film institutions in Poland with such a long tradition and such a rich heritage. For all these years, functioning under the same name and address, WFO has been one of the main pillars of ‘Film Łódź’, gaining a well-deserved reputation as an important centre of Polish film art. An impressive number of almost 5,000 films were made at Oświatówka, which won over 1,200 festival awards. Only initially these were educational and popular science films. After 1956, films of all genres - including documentaries, experimental and feature films - began to be made at the Wytwórnia. Nature films became the domain of Oświatówka, films about art developed just as luxuriantly here, and a separate and characteristic ‘speciality’ of WFO was created. WFO's separate and characteristic ‘speciality’ was the production of films that were unusual for communist reality and unwillingly made elsewhere - films that were innovative, artistically ambitious, and bore the stamp of an original creative imagination. The Studio's proximity to the Łódź Film School and its openness to debutants meant that many masters of Polish cinema began their careers here, including Wojciech Jerzy Has, Krzysztof Zanussi, Krzysztof Komeda, Zbigniew Rybczyński, Grzegorz Królikiewicz, Juliusz Machulski, Jerzy Zieliński, Krzysztof Ptak, Piotr Sobociński, Jacek Bławut, Marek Koterski, Jan Jakub Kolski, Maciej Drygas. After 1989, despite fundamental changes in the formula of functioning caused by the political and economic upheaval in Poland, despite various adversities, Wytwórnia maintained its status as an important producer of valuable films. Great The credit for this goes to the successive bosses of WFO in the difficult ‘post-breakthrough’ period - Zbigniew Godlewski, Andrzej Traczykowski and Katarzyna Madaj-Kozłowska.

- Chopin's first love was Konstancja Gładkowska, the blue-eyed daughter of Commander of the Warsaw Castle, who studied singing at the same conservatory. How deep this feeling must have been can only be guessed from the beauty and quality of the works Chopin composed at this time: the Adagio from the f minor Concerto, dedicated to Miss Gładkowska, and the whole Concerto in e minor. 
- Konstancja performed at the farewell concert held in Warsaw before the composer’s leaving to Paris.
- “He invited Gładkowska and Wołków to participate, and Soliva to conduct. “You would not believe the trouble I had getting permission for those young ladies to sing.” Chopin complained. (...) The day after the concert Chopin waxed lyrical about the evening to Tytus. His farewell appearance had exceeded all expectations, he said. It was a full house, the applause was tremendous, Konstancja was dressed in white with roses in her hair, “her attire divinely arranged to suit her complexion.” Soliva had transposed Konstancja’s aria from Rossini’s La donna del lago down a tone, the better to suit her voice. At the words “tutto detesto” she descended to the low B-natural in such a way that “Zieliński declared that one note to be worth a thousand ducats.”

Chopin called the Larghetto movement of his concerto a “Romance”, the only time he is known to have used the term. And since it is the only piece of music about which he ever attempted to provide a literary program, his commentary is not set aside. Once again Tytus becomes recipient of some private thoughts.
‘’The Adagio of the new concerto is in E major. It is not meant to create a powerful effect; it is rather a Romance, calm and melancholy; giving the impression of someone looking gently toward a spot which calls to mind a thousand happy memories. It is a kind of reverie in the moonlight on a beautiful spring evening.’’
When Chopin talks of a “reverie in the moonlight” and “a spot which calls to mind a thousand happy memories” he comes close to suggesting that the movement enshrines an imagined love scene. His description is notable, coming as it does from a composer who generally chose to say nothing about his music in order not to let the daylight spoil the magic. Is it possible that thoughts of Konstancja lay behind this music too?
In the afterglow of this concert Konstancja and Chopin exchanged rings, althought there is no evidence that this symbolized a betrothal. Still, Chopin arranged to correspond with Konstancja throught his friend Jan Matuszyński, who was studying medicine at the university and agreed to act as a go-between. - He instructed Jan to tell her that "my ashes shall be laid at her feet." Konstancja did not respond to such an extravagant notion, which led Chopin to ask his intermediary, "Did you hand over my note? Today I regret having written in. Perhaps she is fooling me and treating it as a joke." The Russian officers who spent time in her company aroused his jealousy and he disparaged them as "the epaulets". His feelings sometimes came boiling to the surface. "How I tear my hair when thought comes that she may forget me! Those fellows! Gresser! Bezobrazow! Pisarzewski! It's too much for me. Today I feel like Othello!"  -  There was secrecy involved, but the mere fact that these arrangements were put in place indicates that the relationship had been taken to a new level, one in which it was not impossible for the couple to contemplate a future together after Chopin had returned from his foregin travels. The idea is borne out by some affectionate lines that Konstancja wrote in Chopin’s album on October 25, just two weeks after the farewell concert, most likely in the Chopin family apartament in the Krasiński Palace. 
‘’Sorry twist of fate you weave, Yet yield we must to fortune. Remember well, as now you leave in Poland they do love you. K.G.’’
Two or three pages further on Konstancja added more lines, conveying the patriotic sentiment that "in foreign lands they may appreciate and reward you better, but they cannot love you more." She never saw the words that Chopin was add in pencil after he had left Poland and she herself had married, "Oh yes, they can!". (Dr. Alan Walker)
- He revealed his feelings for Konstancja to Tytus Woyciechowski in a letter of 1829:
“…. because perhaps I already have my ideal, whom I faithfully, not having spoken to her for half a year already, serve, about whom I dream, for whom the adagio of my concert is dedicated”.
- Incidentally, this pure love of Chopin to Gładkowska still continued after her marriage. This is evidenced with Ludwika Chopin's words from a letter to Fryderyk, ‘’You write that your love is here. (...) I wonder, how can you be so unfeeling. Palace seemed to be [for Gładkowska] more important, but you made a bad interest; you said she had a good taste, feeling! Ah, the feeling! But it seems she has that feeling only in the singing, and you are the proof for it!’’ (prof. Jacek Jadacki)

Với 4 điểm thì chưa có gì chắc chắn rằng Thụy Điển sẽ được lọt vào vòng loại trực tiếp. Tuy nhiên cơ hội để đội bóng này đoạt được tấm vé này cũng khá cao khi đối thủ trong trận đấu tới của họ là Ba Lan. Còn về phía Ba Lan mặc dù được kỳ vọng rất lớn với chân sút hàng đầu thế giới Lewandowski nhưng lại không thi đấu tốt. The fast pace of 21st century has led to a very distorted work-leisure balance among urban settlers. This has caused numerous lifestyle-related mental and physical issues like stress, depression and other chronic ailments.
This has shifted the focus on wellness and its importance in leading a happy and fulfilling life. We are getting aware and more conscious of the fact that wellness is more than the absence of disease and is a careful holistic balance of the mind, body and spirit. The dialogue has been initiated and we can see an upsurge in the wellness tourism sector, as people demand for a more accessible and wholesome experience.
Designing for health and wellness is inherent to architecture. Great architecture is rooted in real world outcomes that foster healthier spaces and environments. The aim of the competition is to design a wellness retreat in the picturesque setting of Alps that can incorporate different aspects of wellness under a single roof and create a therapeutic and immersive experience for the user through architecture.
Architecture constantly evolves to meet the needs of society and part of its social role is to assist the well-being of those who transit and use their spaces daily. Architecture for Wellness is a niche responsible for the development of captivating architectural experiences that can facilitate and support the search and the achievement of the psychophysical wellness.
Architecture can have a deep healing effect on a person if it can stimulate the human senses. The Wellness Retreat should be resonant with an elemental materiality and a deep sensual pleasure that can be a very good medium for instilling emotions, i.e. the aura of space should bring a positive change in a person’s perception and mood while using the space. The Wellness retreat should enhance the olfactory, tactile and visual experiences of the visitors.
The participants should integrate nature with the Wellness hub in a meaningful manner. The transition between the natural-artificial, interior-exterior should be fluid and seamless to the extent that it becomes one continuous envelope.
The combinations of light and shade, open and enclosed spaces should create sensuous and restorative experience. The built form should not just be created with beautiful materiality and facia but resonant with atavistic memories of weight, contiguity and enclosure, of sound and enticing illumination.
The Wellness retreat should have a ‘music-like’ rhythmic quality to it. It should help people unwind in solitude and slow down. The retreat should indulge in various spiritual, physical and psychological activities.
The participants are free to impart any function they feel are needed inside the retreat. All generic functions like rooms/cabins for stay, meditation and yoga halls, spa, heated pools/baths, sauna, massage rooms, gym, restaurant, healing rooms etc. should be provided for an all-in-all experience under a single roof.
PRIZES
Prizes worth EUR 2500 are up for claim with the distribution as follows:
FIRST PRIZE: EUR 1200 SECOND PRIZE: EUR 800 THIRD PRIZE: EUR 500
Apart from the winners, the jury will select ’10 Editors’ Choices’ who will be featured on our website and several other international magazines and websites across the world. The winners and Editors’ Choices will be provided with an honorary certificate.

The competition is open to everyone in the world (architects, students, engineers etc.). You can participate individually or in a team. A team can have a maximum of three members only. • For Indian nationals: 1800 INR + Taxes (per team)
