Hello! :) I was wondering if you can do a, Alucard x short human reader. ((She or they whichever))

Where maybe the reader is a professional vampire hunter and just newly intern into Helsing. An at first look she seems weak and nonthreatening. But once they get into the battlefield or get threat at the manor, they're kicking ass like the tiny little menace that they are. Like they prefer close combat than out range and due to their small stature they move pretty quickly against big enemies.

You were initially hired as a member of Hellsing's taskforce.

Having spent years hunting vampires as a solo assassin, you had more than enough skills to hold your own against creatures of the night.

Not that any of your coworkers believed you.

Everyone stood a solid foot above you, I mean, it was ridiculous. What were these people eating?

The workplace also presented a physical disadvantage.

The shelves and hook carrying tactical gear were always just out of reach, your uniform was on the baggy side, and you were dwarfed by the bullet-proof vests provided for marksmanship training.

More often than not, you were left out of group training exercises, teased during break hours, and the last chosen for missions on the field. It was more than frustrating, but you still spent your free time training on the grounds and further honing your skills.

When you eventually met Alucard, he was also a bit of a pain.

He belittled your small stature, calling you a "piece of dog kibble" and that you should "get out while you can before the wolves snatch you up."

But then everything changed when the Fire Nation Valentine Brothers attacked.

While your comrades were being slaughtered, you were cutting through ghouls like they were salami on a charcuterie board.

You were able to weave through their sloppy formations with ease, taking knives, ammunition and explosives off of the ghouls tactical belts as you butchered them one by one.

You even happened to pass by Jan Valentine at one point during the battle, grabbing one of the guns in his holster and getting a good shot behind his knee before disappearing back into the chaos.

"What the shitballs was that!?"

It's 1999, Jan, year of the rabbit 🖕🐰

By the time the battle was finished, you were CAKED in ghoul blood. Picture Carrie in a Kevlar vest with 2 combat knives and a semi-auto strapped to her back.

Meeting up with the survivors, Integra didn't immediately recognize you due to the fact you were always overshadowed by the giant soldiers (they dead now), but you definetley stood out in your own way.

The following week, you were promoted to Captain and put in charge of training the Flying Geese into proper vampire killers.

Alucard, still unconvinced that the mercenaries were worth their salt, watched as you proceeded to kick their asses through every training exercise, weaving around them like Walter's fibreglass wires.

The Geese even gave you a nickname: "The Virus." Because while not visible to the eye, you could take down entire biosystems of freaks before they could say "shitballs".

For the first time in a while, Alucard had to swallow his pride and admit he underestimated you.

But it didn't stop there.

After joining Alucard and Seras on a couple of private missions, the three of you became thick as thieves, especially you and Alucard.

The dichotomy between you two made for an interesting duo. The monstrous vampire king and the petite human hunter, it was almost like a sitcom.

While you continued to prove time and again that you were more than capable of pulling your own, Alucard would never stop being protective of you. He was always watching your back, shooting freaks from a distance while you run into the heart of the fight.

You would always be his little rabbit, but never forgot that this rabbit was a carnivore.

  It’s been a while since the last time you went out, hasn’t it? You were oh so excited to revisit your favorite night club with your girl-friends, let loose finally. Yet here you were, completely alone, freezing your butt off in a line to a remarkably sketchy place.  

  Of course you didn’t blame your friends for what they couldn’t control, family, work… The reason you yourself were such a recluse lately is your workload. Even without the company of your besties you decided to not waste the rare free night you had. 

   The line moved quickly and soon it was your turn. You pulled your driver's license in advance, but the tall man working the door just ushered you inside without as much as a glance at it, or you as a whole, for that matter. 

  As you walked through the hallway to the bustling club, your bitterness at being alone eased up a bit. The chaotic atmosphere of the dancefloor felt like a warm embrace, soon you were sitting at a small table with one chair, a pink slushy drink, topped off with a cherry and a pineapple slice on a skewer, in hand. You relaxed and your confidence came back the more tipsy you got. Your eyes traveled around the room, scoping your surroundings, almost involuntarily, following the swirling, flashing lights. 

  Wait a minute!

   Your gaze caught on one spot, like a sleeve catching on a door handle, your mind snapped back to full alertness from the recoil. 

   What, or rather who, caught your attention were two men sitting a bit away. They stuck out like a sore thumb: the man on the right was wearing an all white 3-piece suit, long platinum blonde hair reaching his pectorals, arms crossed, holding a cigar in a white gloved hand. The man to the left was the complete opposite: shaggy, pitch black hair was sticking out from under a beanie, reaching a bit lower than his jawline. The hat bolstered an image of a rolled back eye right in the middle, sitting in such a way that made it look like the tan young man had 3 eyes. He was wearing an oddly neat, dark tracksuit, gesticulating wildly while explaining something to his companion, similarly having his hands covered by white cotton gloves. His wildly expressive face was made even more eye-catching by the glinting piercings hanging on his lower lip, nose, and cheek.

   You hadn’t realized how long you had actually been staring until the ‘three-eyed’ gaze of one of the men had met yours. Your eyes snapped back to your drink, its slushy texture now melting, your face turning shamefully red at your own absent-minded lack of manners. 

   You involuntarily glanced back up at the table you had stared at so rudely, in those few seconds you managed to witness the ‘triple-eyed’ man get up and turn toward your table as his white-clad companion rubbed the bridge of his nose and shook his head in obvious frustration and disapproval. 

  Mortified, your gaze once again snapped to your drink. Suddenly all the confidence you had, melted just like the crushed ice in your drink.

  As the man approached your table you could see more of his features: the two golden rings on his lower lip; long, slim face; bright, amber eyes and the strikingly sharp, toothy grin. 

  The first thought that popped into your head at the sight was: “Fuck! Shit! He’s so goddamn hot!”

  However, your nervousness and the thoughts of the man’s physical appeal were crushed as fast as they appeared:

  “Aye bish, ya must be a real damn whore starin’ me n my bro down like dat!”

  “Huh-”

  You didn’t even have enough time to be properly confused.

  “With yer whole tits out too! Damn! Ya know how to get a guy gowin’!”

  Your naive hopes of bringing a hot, mysterious guy back home with you were crushed like a dry autumn leaf. You let out a long sigh. 

  “Is that your idea of a pickup line…?”

  Your expression changed from embarrassment to that of unconcealed, unadulterated annoyance. 

   “Seriously dude, what the fuck.”

  The man pulled up a chair to your table, leaning on his gloved hands. Being this close to him you could smell him: a combination of warm musk, tobacco smoke, alcohol and a thick smell of…copper? Odd.

  “Aw, come awnnn, don’t b such a bish, I kno how to take care of a nice piece o’ ass like ya!”

  “Oh, ya, tha name’s Jan Valentine, don’cha forget it, shuga-tits!”

  You rolled your eyes, looking past Jan, catching a glimpse of his… Brother? Friend? He was still sitting at their table, lighting up another cigar, staring daggers into Jan’s back. You figured that this was a common occurrence, probably ending too often with Jan getting a drink splashed in his face. 

  “I thought tourists are supposed to at least try to be polite to locals, no?”

  “Bold o’ ya to assume I ain’t live here! And who gives a fuck, chix like confident guys like me, ya?”

  “How many women have actually been convinced by this?”

  “Aye, I ain’t said nun ‘bout ‘convincing’ noone, shuga-tits~”

  Jan grabbed your face and pulled it towards himself as he said that. Your eyes were transfixed to his. Being this close to Jan’s face, that odd coppery smell… slowly, your annoyance started to change into primal fear. Looking into the amber eyes of this stranger, not being able to move as much as your eyes, it felt like staring down a lion.

  “How ‘bout I getcha sumthing to drink, ya? That lil kiddie drink ya have is all water now! Hahahahahahah!”

   Jan looked like a hungry animal staring at your face as he asked, his grip on your face tightening as a barely veiled threat. 

  Your brain scrambled for a way out and… Yes! That’s it! You nodded meekly and Jan let go of you reluctantly. 

  “Yeah, you know, maybe you are starting to convince me… Feel free to get me whatever it is you would consider not a ‘kiddie drink’. I gotta go powder my nose.”

  You got up from your chair, trying not to seem too eager to leave, playing into the “slut” role Jan wanted out of you the best you could. 

  That’s it. That’s it, girl. You would go into the bathroom now, and try to find a… a… an emergency exit, or… or maybe a window… a staff exit… maybe you’ll ask for help. You’ll figure it out. Just, stay calm, this is fine. Yes, you’re fine.

  Before you could take even a step away, Jan once again grabbed you, intimidatingly hard.

  “Don’t go runnin’ off now, lil whore, ya hear me?”

  “Pfft, wouldn’t dream of it, Mr. Valentine~”

  You perked up your butt and craned your head a bit, trying to reassure Jan that you are definitely not going to run. The ‘triple-eyed’ man finally let go of your wrist, and you gave him one last reassuring wink as you walked towards the women’s bathroom. 

  The fight or flight had eased the closer you got to the safety of the bathroom. It was surprisingly empty, considering how packed the club was, you couldn’t see any exits on the way here, only a door leading behind the same bar where you had ordered that silly “kiddie drink” earlier this evening. You exhaled with relief as you saw the frosted glass window in the corner of the dingy bathroom. It was a bit small and high up, but you didn’t want to waste any precious time. You perched yourself up on a sink, placing your hands on the edge of the window now open to the biting cold of the October night. You pushed your body up, placing one of your knees in the frame. The moment your other leg reached the window cill, you hastily threw yourself over the edge, the space between the ground floor window and the pavement was nothing to you compared to the space you needed to put between yourself and that three-eyed beast… and CRACK! Your feet hit the ground without a modicum of grace. Pain shot up through your body, that wasn’t the sound of bone, but one of the heels of your sandals breaking off, along with the ankle it was on twisting painfully. The adrenaline in your blood dulled the pain only slightly, but you had to get going. Going the same way you came here wasn’t an option, you knew those ember eyes would spot you immediately through the large windows covering the front of the establishment. You would walk through the back alleys for a few blocks, before turning onto a main street just in time to duck into the metro. The fact that you left your coat on the chair in the club was catching up to you, as you composed yourself again the chill of the air bit into your bare shoulders. It's worth it. Something as silly as a cheap faux leather jacket was nothing if it meant getting away from Jan. 

  You walked briskly, as briskly as you could with the painfully twisted ankle and a broken heel, down the poorly lit alley that led away from Jan and towards your salvation. Every noise put you on edge, making you push yourself to walk faster and faster, soon breaking into a limping sprint, blood rushing to your ears. Fuck. Your twisted ankle gave out and the ground briefly disappeared from under you, before your palms and knees slammed into the sandpapery pavement, harshly repositioning your body in the world.

  “HAHAHAHAHIKUDIAHAHAHJAJAH”

  The familiar hyena-like laugh came from behind you.

  “Aaaah, ya stupid fuckin’ cunt! Ya dumb whore!”

  You tried to rise to your feet, but felt a kick to your back, a heavy foot pinning you back to ground, now your face stinging the same way that your knees and palms stung. 

  “Yer fuckin’ pathetic! Ya thought that ya could keep me from that sweet ass? I gotta say, t’was pretty fuckin’ funny watching ya run in dat slutty lil dress, yer boobs jiggle pretty nice HAHAHAHHAHAHA!”

  The foot flipped your now limp body onto your back. Jan towered above you, his boot firmly planted firmly on your chest, keeping you from even trying to get up.    Jan saw the utter defeat in your eyes and removed his foot from you, only to pick you up by the hair with one hand, like you weighed nothing. Your face contorted in fear as he brought his face down to your neck, lingering there, smelling your skin, before licking it excruciatingly slowly. Nibbling on it gently to let you feel his razor sharp canines. To give you time to feel utter terror and defeat. 

   Your terror-trance state was tactlessly broken by the sudden burning pain of Jan putting out what is left of his cigar on the still wet, tender part of your neck. Before you could start to scream Jan put a hand over your mouth, squeezing your face so hard, it made the way he had held it in the bar seem almost tender .

  “Ah-ah, bitch, no screamin’ ‘less ya want me to crush yer skull like a fuckin’ beer can~”

  You got the message alright. What would have been a scream turned into quiet sobbing.

   “Aw, fuckitt, bro’s not here to lecture me ‘bout makin’ a mess, the hell am I doin’ holdin’ back?!”

   Jan tactlessly threw your limp body back to the ground, you shrunk back towards the wall as the three eyed beast untucked himself from the waistband of his pants and underwear. Your mind started to swim, none of this felt truly real anymore.

Valentine's day, I never really had any opinions on it. I've never really been with anyone on it, or gotten anything, of course in elementary but, you were made to give those out. I mean I've never gotten anything that means something, i don't hate it i just have never gotten the chance to feel anything. So when I woke up that morning to my boyfriend Patton cooking pancakes I didn't think much, but. this one came mostly from analysis of old data--instead on the cast appearances chart, here's where everyone sat during their full seasons (oneshots are not counted here to reduce their impact as outliers)

as you'll notice, the data is repeated for the intrepid heroes sequel seasons because they were not made at the same time and this allows me to standardize and check how many people have sat in each seat more easily. also, it would mean i'd have to count everyone for each seat once, and i'm not planning on doing that right now. anyways.

for my splits:

first off, disclaimer that gender is a societal construct and that you can do whatever you want with it so long as you don't harm others. this list uses the pronouns indicated by the cast members. this list goes by the cast members' current gender--retroactively effective. if they came out after the season aired, they're still listed with their gender at the time of posting (Jan-Feb 2024).

for the sake of simplicity and not making separate categories for every nb cast member my categories are female (she/her pronouns), male (he/him), and nonbinary/gnc (they/them, other combinations of pronouns), which encompasses more complex combinations. yes the drag queens are split up because it's based on their pronouns as indicated. not everyone in the gnc group uses the same pronouns, so nonbinary/gnc is in use as an umbrella term.

the main cast i.e. the intrepid heroes + brennan is a little less even, since brennan shifts the group toward a male bias (4/7, vs 2/7 female and 1/7 nonbinary)

so a pretty even split wrt gender and pronoun usage overall. some seasons differ in composition, but generally there's a pretty even split (female/male/gender non-conforming) with the GM tipping the balance.

escape from the bloodkeep: same breakdown as the intrepid heroes seasons: 57.1% male, 28.5% female, and 14.2% nonbinary [4, 2, 1]

tiny heist: a stronger majority this time since the mcelboys and their dad are there: 71.4% male, 28.5% female [5, 2]

pirates of leviathan: similar to ih breakdown; 57.1% male, 42.8% female [4, 3]

for our 7 person seasons, the most common split is the intrepid heroes split, of 57.1% male, 28.5% female, and 14.2% nonbinary [4, 2, 1]. This pattern goes for 12/21 seasons of dimension 20. otherwise we tend to lean to one direction or another.

for the 5 person seasons, there's a pattern of a 2, 2, 1 split, but it's evenly split between [f, m, gnc] and [f, gnc, m].

gender splits in the seating chart

for the seating chart, it's a little different. there's two ways of tallying this up; by season or by cast member. the critical difference being that the latter does not allow repeats (of the intrepid heroes generally but also other returning cast) while the former does. i suppose the other way of stating it would be that we can count it up by occurrence or by total number.

since i don't feel like calculating percentages for this set, they will be displayed as ratios, like so: [F:M:NB]. keep in mind that some seats are not used for all seasons, so the numbers that the ratios add up to will differ.

L1: by occurrence, L1 has a 9:9:3 ratio with repeats, and 7:6:3 by total number of cast, so ever so slightly female-biased

L2: by occurrence, L2 has a 7:8:1 ratio with repeats, and 5:6:1 by total number of cast, so ever so slightly male-biased

L3: by occurrence, L3 has a 11:8:2 ratio with repeats, and 8:5:2 by total number of cast, so strongly female-biased

R3: by occurrence, R3 has a 9:9:3 ratio with repeats, and 4:6:3 by total number of cast, so male-biased. the difference in total number comes from the fact that siobhan, aabria, and lily all sit in R3 on multiple occasions

R2: by occurrence, R2 has a 2:9:6 ratio with repeats, and 2:7:2 by total number of cast, so male-biased with a strong nb/gnc presence. the drop comes from ally and erika both sitting there multiple times

R1: by occurrence, R1 has a 6:11:4 ratio with repeats, and 6:8:3 by total number of cast, so strongly male-biased. as you can probably guess, the difference comes from murph sitting in his favorite seat.

GM: by occurrence, we're looking at a 4:16:1 ratio, but a 2:2:1 by total number. if you account for the fact that brennan, the in-house gm, has been in the hot seat for 15 seasons, this makes more sense.
