Facts about Echosmith 1. The band formed in February 2009 in Chino, California. 2. They released their first album on October 8, 2013. 3. Sydney serves as the lead vocalist. 4. Echosmith started first as "Ready Set Go!" until they signed to Warner Bros Records in May 2012. 5. They are best know for their hit song "Cool Kids." 6. Some of the covers they have released include Lights by Ellie Goulding, Set Fire To The Rain by Adele, and Princess of China by Coldplay and Rihanna. 7. They performed on the entire 2013 Vans Warped Tour. 8. The music video for their song called "Cool Kids" was directed by Gus Black. 9. The band's song "Surround You" is featured in the soundtrack for the film "Endless Love." 10. They made their late night TV premiere in June 2014, performing "Cool Kids" on Conan and the Teen Wolf after show, Wolf Watch.

Love this Echosmith song! Sydney’s voice sounds so sweet and pretty, and match the lyrics perfectly. The music flows perfectly with her voice, and the upright bass gives it a whole different sound.

Jamie Sierota, formerly of Echosmith, sure knows how to push the right “buttons” with his solo project meija. Buttons is the Los Angeles producer and songwriter’s second single, a luminescent cascade of chillewavey indie pop and indie-electro with twinkling beats and dreamy shimmers. It’s a light and airy, balmy and sunlit frolic steeped in optimism and warmth. meija already turned heads and perked ears when he made his debut a few months ago with I Already Said That I Love You, streaming below.
