definitely my favourite on this list. or any list really.

criminally underrated. Angelica Gori, begamo-born but venetian-adopted (she didnt move here we just took her) turns the italian indie pop scene around with her fantastic voice and great lyrics. good for every vibe, mostly for hating your ex. I've seen her live 4 times, her energy is unmatched. i recommend everything she's ever done.

an old new discovery. Sydney Sierota and her brothers, Noah and Graham, became popular in 2013 with their hit cool kids, but their other stuff is as great. a good spin on alt pop. i recommend their latest self-titled lp, echosmith.

the crane wives

this four-piece band was plaguing my dash for a while, and for a good reason. frontwomen Emilee Petersmark and Kate Pillsbury, along with bandmates Dan Rickabus and Ben Zito, use their indie-folk music make you forget where you are. i don't recommend anything specifically, go listen to them and see what sticks. because something definitely will.
