Just FYI, DO NOT purchase All of Us Strangers from Amazon Prime! They've done unspeakable things to the color and white balance. Everything is flat and all the warm hyperreal color is lost. The dark scenes are impossible to see. And once you start playing it they won't give you a refund, so buyer beware!

I've spent a long damn time looking at scenes from the film so I know what it should look like AND THAT AIN'T IT!

Adding that I haven't yet tried to watch it on a television, it could be that their mobile app player is just universally awful and hates color, I will report back later when I am sure, but the other two copies I've seen (Hulu and 🏴‍☠️) which were FINE, were also on mobile versions of their apps, so no excuse Amazon.

Update: even on a tv it looks terrible. Everything was still dark and flat and slightly greenish. (I'm still not sure if the problem is the movie or the Prime Video player in general.) I finally broke down and bought it again, this time from YouTube, and it looks perfect, the color is exactly as it was in the promo versions! 🎉 Lesson learned, that's the last time I buy a movie from Amazon Prime.
