As i promised... Tim Drake as Toga Himiko. (Tw: blood, eating people, body torture(?), death)
Welcome to Connor yapping about their au (part 1) (keep in mind i’m not an author, and suck at writing)
Tim Drake is a strange, strange child. His teeth grew too sharp for a childs. Now sharp teeth were normal, but these weren't normal. They were more like fangs, they were different. Different isn't good around rich people.
So his parents did the only reasonable thing they could think of, they filed his teeth back, till they look normal. (What is normal?)
Tim, himself, didn't like losing his teeth, he thought they were cool. Look a vampire in those old movies he watched behind Mrs Macs back. But if his parents said they weren't normal then they must be wrong. (It's such a strange word.)
Life was better.. or it was until the young drake made a mistake. He saw a bird, a very pretty bird, it was a small thing, a robin. It had crashed into the fence in the back of his garden. The one that connected to a forest.
Now, Tim loved birds. His first memory was seeing three birds dance in a circus. The night ended in tragedy, but before it did, he got to take a picture with the youngest bird. So he wanted to help this little bird. He picked it up, looked at it. It certainly wasn’t moving. But the red on it was so pretty.
He’d never seen anything like it before, it smelled nice aswell, like something metallic. You can’t blame him for what he did next, it just looked so good.
Thats when his caretaker, Mrs Mac, found him, drinking from the dead robin. The old lady screamed, Tim tilted his head, why was she screaming. Mrs Mac screamed something about his “inhuman smile-“ and how “you sick monster.”
Mrs Mac quit the same day, leaving the boy alone and rumours spread quickly. People at school whispered about him, pointed at his fangs teeth that were growing back in. The only thing that really stuck was how much they were scared of his smile. He stopped smiling as much after that.
When his parents finally came home, they instantly heard about the incident. They weren’t happy, not at all. He hated his teeth now, his smile, he hated how good it tasted, how good it felt.
He swore he wouldn’t do it again. (Promises are meant to be broken)
At school, there was this boy, Jamie, in the year above him. He had pretty blonde hair, deep brown eyes you could get lost in, he was in the year above him. At twelve he released it was a crush, he had a crush on a boy. His parents would be disappointed. He told no one.
After school, Jamie asked him to stay back, to talk to him after school. Tim was more then happy to talk to his crush. It didn’t go well. It was a prank. A prank that ended very poorly.
James ended up dead. His blood drained. All that was left of his body was a straw sticking out his neck and a pocket knife in his neck. Everyone knew it was him, but as long as he was a Drake they couldn’t do anything.
Janet died in a mining accident, Jack no longer wanted anything to do with Tim. He disowned Tim the first chance he got. Dropping him off in the foster care system.
The group home he was stuck in wasn’t kind. They gagged him, made sure he couldn’t do anything. His cries were drowned out under white noise. The young meta hated it there, he couldn’t do it anymore.
The walls were red, he liked red. Tim liked it a lot. It was pretty. Tim liked pretty.
His fangs had fully grown back in, and his hair had drown out. He didn’t like feeling it on his neck. He didn’t want to cut it, so he did his best job at doing sloopy buns. They were pretty, cute even. Tim liked cute like he liked pretty.
Another robin died, but this time a big one. It did bad things to Batman. That wasn’t good. Now, he was smart, he could figure things out. So he found the first robin in Bludhaven. The young meta tried to get him to go back as robin. “Batman needs a robin.”
Robin one, Dick, refused. Told Tim to do it himself. So he did. He became the third robin. To be honest, Tim didn’t know why Dick let him be robin, Tim wasn’t good, he knew that. But Dick said he could do it.
Being robin was hard on Tim. Seeing all that cute blood and not being able to do anything, but he leaned self control. He promised he wouldn’t drink blood again (promises always get broken.)
He met some of the best people as robin, Kon, Bart, Cassie, Cissie, S’lobo, Greta, Anita, and so many more. They didn’t know what he was but if he told them, he didn’t think they would care. They were cute like that.
But as it happens, shit got fucked. The second bird came back. Jason was big now, angry now. He was a crime lord, not a vigilante. Or he was more like a mob boss, ruling with fear.
Personally, Tim didn’t get why he chose the jokers old codename of all things. But each to their own. But attacking him in titans tower was a low blow. It was close as well, Tim wouldn’t back down, he was as much of Robin as Jason was.
Jason was just an asshole. Tim would die on that hill.
Damian was a cute kid, though. He didn’t mind the stabbing, he showed love how Tim showed love. Someone who understood him. It was nice, maybe Damian would share his blood with Tim. (Not that he’d ever ask, he said he wasn’t going to drink any blood and he was going to stand by it)
The Bruce died, he knew he was alive though, he knew it in his heart. He helped Damian design a Robin suit before he left. Damian, in return, gave him some of his blood, just incase Tim ran out. They had the same blood type after all. (It meant more to Tim then that)
(Damian knew Tim was a meta, he found out from his mother before he was dropped off at the Wayne manor. He didn’t know how to tell Tim he knew though. So this was all he did, giving him what he needed.)
The journey was hard, losing his spleen was fucking painful. Losing Owen and Z was fucking painful. He kept their blood with him, it was precious now, he wouldn’t lose it.
Getting kicked out of a window wasn’t how he expected to die, he didn’t want to go like that. It wasn’t pretty, all he hoped that his blood was pretty on the ground. Maybe Damian would keep his blood for him.
He didn’t expect Dick to catch him, but now.. now he had to explain, and explain he did.
From the killing, the blood, the home, the tower, getting Bruce back.
He did not, whatsoever, except acceptance. Not be called family, to be called cute. (Normal was boring, and promises always get broken)
Anyways thats roughly how this AU plays out, i’m a shit writer so sorry.

You've got me wondering about Telford on this beautiful morning. Can I request an infodump on this sumbitch? Bonus points for info that came from your headcanon.
Oh, Jamie, you don't know what you've done... Put beneath a cut because Telford's life story got kinda long 😂 Also will use this as an opportunity to answer the "OC" facts tag from @the-golden-comet (x) Let's take a look at my favourite little fucker: Colonel David Telford!
He was adopted by a high-middle class white couple who wanted the pats on the back they'd get for giving a child of colour a "second chance", but then were severely disappointed when that brown baby grew up to be a brown man... So he grew up *surrounded* by white people, suffering everything from micro-aggressions to full on racism. Below is an excerpt from i am a prisoner just like you, bits of my Vamp AU series I wanted to tell from Telford's POV. This particular bit is a flashback to when he was 18.
Young let out a surprised laugh, slapping Telford good-naturedly on the back. “Fair’s fair.” He had a nice smile, Telford thought, wide and honest. He looked away quickly; there couldn't be any of that shit here. He'd decided that long ago - indulge during high school while continuing to maintain a good upstanding image because that was just what kids did, but he wasn't a kid anymore. The consequences for getting caught here - or even someone getting a whiff of the wrong idea about him - were far more serious than the potential of getting bagged driving out into the desert with another boy. Telford had planned out every excuse and story that could possibly be required. We were just going out here to smoke, sir. No, not marijuana, I can't afford to put that stuff into my body. I'm starting line. I've got a future.
We were planning to bring our girls but they bailed on us. If we had to go home early our parents would know we got ditched. So we came out here to shoot the shit. No, sir, no alcohol. You can check the vehicle. Yes, sir, it's registered to me. It was present for making starting line. I've got a future. We're doing a science project on the state of the plants out here, how they've adapted to the radiation in the soil. No, sir, absolutely no digging. Here, look, this is our collection kit. We have gloves and baggies and permission from our science teacher. His name's Mr. Monroe. No, sir, I'm not really interested in science, but if I want to get into a good college I need the grades. I'm starting line. I've got a future. I've got a future. In your world. Calling you sir. I've got a future. Performing for your amusement. I've got a future. I'm not like those other brown kids, sir. I'm one of the good ones. I'm starting line. I've got a future.
This is the shit I want to see fandom tackle more though I for sure realise how delicately it has to be handled. He's had a really rough time of it and the military doesn't exactly foster a welcoming non-racist environment so I think we should talk about those experiences more. (Fuck that "I know what makes me special" line.)
I couldn't leave Telford completely alone during his childhood so I gave him an Uncle who's a good guy and cares about Telford and wants what's best for him. He was military himself and a recipient of a Purple Heart. He helped Telford's application to join the Air Force Academy straight out of high school. For them to take someone who hasn't already got a college degree you need to tick all the boxes, and Telford is nothing if not stubborn and committed.
He'll do anything to achieve the goals he's set for himself, things others will find downright distasteful and judge him negatively for, but he's a very ends-justify-the-means type of character. If he completes his objective then it doesn't matter what he had to do or who he had to hurt or what he had to give up; it was worth it. He gets constantly frustrated by the people around him being unwilling or unable to go to the same lengths and one of the main reasons he's remained Young's friend for over two decades through all of the bullshit Young pulls is that when the chips are down, Young is also capable of doing terrible things in order to succeed.
They meet in the Air Force Academy (this specific bit isn't mine - one of Telford or Young's actors mentioned it in passing in an interview) and were assigned as 'battle buddies' during Basic which is a real life thing where you don't let the other person out of your sight - drills, meals, bathroom breaks, everything - as a training exercise to teach new recruits to always be aware of where their allies are, in preparation for firefights where everything's moving at 100mph.
Young figures Telford doesn't get along with his parents so invites him home with him for the holidays and Young's family - who are very normal and well-adjusted (no sarcasm) - pretty much adopts him, giving him the first safe place away from the military he's known since his Uncle. I wrote a short story about the first time Telford goes there called Discretion, which turned out a lot gayer than I originally intended but Telford is super gay so I guess it worked out. 🤷♂️ (Side note: I like writing characters with different sexualities as a writing exercise - getting them to the point where no matter how different they are they're all still in character. I've written Telford as gay - accepting of himself and in denial - straight, bi, asexual, and aromantic.)
Two snippets from my Vamp AU, both from Young's POV on the topic of Telford's parents.
down here they call us animals - Chapter 10: 1x15 Lost
The man's gaze went flat and cold so quickly it was like having the ground ripped from beneath Young's feet. He'd seen that look on his friend's face before, at his Uncle's funeral when he'd been forced by social decorum to approach his parents. Young had stuck resolutely to the man's side, unsure of what was going on but knowing he didn't like the ugly twist on Telford's parent's faces. Maybe they'd known their son liked men, it suddenly occurred to him. It took the wind out of his sails, the fact that he was threatening to out his best friend crashing down on him. Someone had done that to Camile, he remembered. There was no excuse for it.
your eyes, black like an animal - Chapter 6: 2x06 Trial And Error
Young nodded, thinking of the disgusted edge in David's parent's eyes when he'd met them at his friend's Uncle's funeral, how the father had tried to direct Young away from David's side with his eyes. They'd wanted to be alone with their son, but even Young could tell there was something not quite right with these people, so he had played dumb and bet that they wouldn't go so far as to verbalise their wish. He'd been right and he and David hadn't gone to the wake, preferring to stake out a bar with his Uncle's war buddies. A proper and right celebration he would have been proud of, one of the old men had said, raising his glass, clearly suggesting whatever the parents were getting up to right about now was the opposite. If David had wanted to talk about it he would have raised the subject and Young knew better than to press. Some things were best left buried.
I don't know whether they know he's gay or just don't like him for the previously discussed racial reasons, but a line I've got in my notes is his father saying the military was the best place he could have ended up, and he does not mean it positively.
Due in no small part to his childhood Telford has a hard time bonding with people. Young got in there at just the right time (Telford was 18 and Young was 22) plus they were basically forced to spend time together at the start. Young helped him with the team building exercises and Telford helped Young with the maths they both needed to learn in order to be pilots. (Something I think both the show and fandom overlook is that to be a pilot in the Air Force you need a lot of mathematical knowledge.) Telford's minor at the Academy was languages; it's his belief that every soldier should speak the language of wherever they're stationed, purely for the practical purpose of people will say just about anything around you if they think you can't understand them. He can speak, read, and understand English, Spanish, German, Russian, Arabic, Goa'uld, and Ancient.
He's gay and aromantic and spent a lot of his time at the SGC getting in the good graces of the geeks who work there as he knows they're the future of the programme. He's popular with them because a lot of the military don't respect the geeks no matter what and Telford treats them with respect unless they do something stupid. As there are scientists rotating in and out from Area 51 all the time the labs are also a good place to find people to have sex with, who he's very clear with about not wanting a relationship. I don't think he'd risk pursuing men sadly, though he would be publicly sleeping with women anyway so no one gets any funny ideas about him. And he enjoys the sexual release well enough so it's not a 100% depressing scenario.
When he imagines being in a relationship he feels ill. The expectation of marriage, two kids and a dog with a white picket fence? Nah, no American Dream™ for him, thank you very much. He likes having his own private space to come home to, and Young is the only person he'll allow within his bubble. Sometimes Young's friends are permitted by proxy, but for the most part he's an extremely private person.
He certainly hasn't escaped the toxic masculinity trap either. Whenever I have him having sex with Rush there's always an aspect of Telford believing he now in some form owns the man. That ties into him viewing both himself and everyone else as primarily commodities, a position both he and Rush are used to and therefore are very comfortable occupying. His body is a tool and he recognises the same viewpoint in Rush, which is why he's drawn to him so strongly. He certainly still respects him - there's a point in the series where something bad happens and people are trying to tell him no one could have predicted it and he's instantly like: "You saying Rush didn't see it coming?" I don't think viewing someone as a person and viewing them as a commodity are mutually exclusive.

BACKGROUND.
Genevieve Young, born Genevieve Han in South Korea, lost her parents in a car accident at age six, surviving alongside her older brother, Roman.
She and her brother were separated in foster care, with Genevieve being adopted by the Youngs, a compassionate elderly couple in Tonopah Valley.
Despite receiving love and support from her adoptive parents, Genevieve struggled socially and was curious about her biological family, especially her missing brother. To this day she remembers nothing of her old life, and can only remember her brother's first name. She has resigned herself to thinking he died along with them in the car accident.
Though she explored various hobbies, horse riding became her true passion, giving her a sense of belonging and freedom.
She studied Biomedical Engineering and secured a stable job, but her world was shaken again when she lost both adoptive parents, and her much older adoptive sibling left her with only a modest inheritance.
After their deaths, Genevieve left her engineering job and pursued a career as a horse trainer, reconnecting with her childhood passion.
She bought a fixer-upper house with her small inheritance, trying to rebuild her life while coping with feelings of isolation and longing for family.
For her thirtieth birthday, Eve purchased a horse of her own named Honey from Decker Ranch, one that she’d trained as a young foal. She often uses her for lessons, and loves being able to spend so much time by her side during the work day.
Some years after starting at the ranch, she learned about its ties to the MC. Instead of letting that scare her away, however, Eve decided to throw herself into that side of the business, figuring she had nothing to lose. Part of her duties include overseeing shipments and making sure all crates are safe and accounted for. She knows what's being moved and transported, but she has a very 'don't ask, don't tell' outlook about everything on the day to day.
The condo she purchased is a TRUE fixer-upper. Like, she purchased it over six years ago and it still needs a lot of work, much of it she does herself. A true DIY queen, she’ll work at something to death and then some before she even thinks about calling in the experts. Which, admittedly, she should do more often.
She’s kind, but she can be very pessimistic, a bit prickly. A lot of that is born out of her own insecurities, though, and she’s not too hard to befriend if people are patient. Also a huge know it all and not always in the charming way!
Eve has tried to quit smoking 6 times and will constantly tell everyone she’s quitting but it never happens so

Alex Albon and Franco Colopinto P10 and P9 tomorrow! Oscar Piastri P2! Christian Mansell reverse pole position on his first ever f2 race! Joshua Duerksen, Jak Crawford, and Gabriele Mini on the podium in the F2 sprint! I don't particularly pay much attention to Duerksen, but I love when he does well because it makes me happy when someone who is very vocal about their faith does well. Kyle Kirkwood pole! Alex Palou is starting P24 and Will Power is starting P4 which means the championship battle is gonna be intense tomorrow.
Wow okay so going backwards lol, COLTON HERTA'S FIRST OVAL WIN!!!! Nashville was a good race, lots of good leaders, Pato P2, Alex Palou is a 3 time champ wow. Sad for Will Power, but my goodness that was quite the finale. Congrats to Louis Foster on his race win and his championship, I hope he gets a seat next year. Yuven Sundaramoorthy P2, I am so happy for him. Rip Callum Hedge and Jamie Chadwicks race, not a fan of that. Also lets talk about how Christian Brooks has not finished outside of the top 10 since starting this season, like that's crazy, I hope he gets a seat next year and shows them what he can do with a full season. I'm gonna miss Indycar and Indy NXT so much, like I love it so much oh my gosh. Can't wait for silly season though, lol. These posts are gonna be so small with just F1 from here on out lol.
That F2 crash was so bad I am so glad everyone else is okay. I'm happy about Christian Mansell and Luke Browning getting points on their first feature race. Kimi Antonelli on the podium is cool. It took me so long to watch the f1 race lol, but it was actually so good. Congrats to Baku for being the first like actually good and interesting race I've seen from F1 in a long time. OSCAR WON!!!!! LET'S GO!!!! Williams double points was amazing. I loved seeing Alex up towards the front even if it was just because he hadn't pit yet. Ollie Bearman scored points as well that was exciting. Oscar's pass on Charles Leclerc was beautiful. That last lap crash was crazy. Overall, I really good race.

“We only do this for Fergus!” is a short Outlander Fan Fiction story and my contribution to the Outlander Prompt Exchange (Prompt 3: Fake Relationship AU: Jamie Fraser wants to formally adopt his foster son Fergus, but his application will probably not be approved… unless he is married and/or in a committed relationship. Enter one Claire Elizabeth Beauchamp (Randall?) to this story) @outlanderpromptexchange
The Wartburg/Eisenach/Thuringia - Picture by A.Savin - Own work, FAL, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=96810117
Chapter 17: Visit to the Wartburg (II)
At 9.15 am Claire was standing in the hallway outside Jamie and Fergus' room. Five minutes later Jamie and Fergus also came out. Fergus seemed full of energy as always, Jamie's sleep deficit was clearly visible. A few minutes later the small group was on their way to the Wartburg. The hotel was only a few hundred metres from the castle. But the walk through the cool autumn air did the adults in particular good. Shortly afterwards, they passed the medieval drawbridge and the entrance to the castle. At the ticket office, Jamie bought the tickets and asked for a personal tour. Since they had decided together to go on this trip, Jamie had spent several evenings preparing for it. First he had booked the rooms for Claire, himself and Fergus. Then he had consulted some websites that reported either on the history of the Wartburg or on family trips there. One evening he had come across the homepage of an amateur historian. The man had recommended the book "World Heritage Wartburg - Portrait of a Thousand Years" from the series "Castles, Palaces and Fortified Buildings in Central Europe Volume 4". Fraser liked the man's review and immediately ordered the book online. A few days later he was able to pick it up in the small bookshop in Französische Straße, only a few minutes away from "Fraser & Son". During his preparation for the trip, he had read, among other things, that the castle would usually not be so busy in the morning hours. The tourist rush usually came around lunchtime or shortly after. This information was true and Jamie was immediately promised a personal tour at the ticket office. A short time later, Jamie, Claire and Fergus were greeted by an older man who introduced himself as Mr Klaußner and explained that he would guide the small group through the castle. Claire watched Fergus' face light up and the boy immediately took his place at the guide's side. Understandably, Mr Klaußner was an impressive person. Claire had to admit that. The guide was at least six feet tall, wore an elegant deep blue suit and a white shirt underneath with a bow tie to match the suit. But most impressive was Klaußner's distinguished face, dominated by a fine, long nose and very lively brown eyes.
First, Mr Klaußner led the small group around the outer castle courtyard, explaining that the castle was 411 m above sea level and was most probably built around 1067 by Ludwig the Springer, a count from Franconia. His descendants, beginning with his son Ludwig I, were the landgraves of Thuringia for over 100 years, from 1130 to 1247. Klaußner went on to explain that Ludwig the Springer received his epithet, according to legend, through a daring jump into the river Saale. The landgrave is said to have tried to gain the Palatinate of Saxony. For this reason he stabbed Count Palatine Friedrich III to death, after which he was imprisoned in Giebichenstein Castle near Halle. In the third year of his imprisonment he was threatened with execution. In order to escape this, he is said to have used a stay on the castle tower to jump into the Saale flowing below. There, a servant is said to have been waiting for him with a boat and his favourite snow-white horse, the "Swan". But the legend about the landgrave's epithet, Klaußner explained, is merely a misinterpretation of the Latin name Salicus. Ludwig Salicius means that this man was a member of the noble family of the Salians. Mistakenly, this term was translated as "Springer" very early on. Whether Count Ludwig was ever imprisoned on the Giebichenstein was also doubtful. They walked a few metres further. As they did so, the guide explained that the founding of Wartburg Castle was just as legendary as the legend about the jump into the Saale. According to the legend, Landgrave Ludwig discovered its location while hunting in 1067 and exclaimed: ''Wait (in German = ‘Warte”), mountain, you shall bear me a castle!'' However, since the mountain did not belong to his domain, he used a trick: He had earth brought to the mountain from his domain in order to build the castle on this earth. Later, he and his twelve most faithful knights had to make an ''oath if swords'' by sticking their swords into the earth and swear on their honour that this was the landgrave's rightful property. Only then were his rights of ownership recognised before the Emperor. Fergus listened intently and was quite entranced. Every now and then he asked questions and whenever he gave his own "medieval knowledge", Jamie and Claire looked at each other and at times could only suppress a loud laugh with difficulty.
As they slowly left the front courtyard of the castle, Mr Klaußner also explained the buildings that Jamie, Claire and Fergus saw:

The first section of the castle through which they entered was called the castle redoubt. Here there were defensive buildings through which the entrance could be defended and which gave this section its name. In former times, these buildings extended far beyond the area of the drawbridge. If you entered the castle via the drawbridge, you came to the area known as the outer bailey. The buildings to the right of the entrance were the knight's house and the bailiwick. Both buildings dated from the late Middle Ages. Klaußner did not have to explain further what a knight’s house was. Fergus ''explained'' it in his place. But Mr Klaußner then explained the concept of a Vogt in more detail: a Vogt was a lordly, often noble official in the Middle Ages and early modern times. Such a man ruled and judged as the representative of the landgrave. He presided over the land court and had to organise the defence of the country. In war, he led the country's fiefdom. The castle guide pointed out that the half-timbered buildings in this part of the castle date back to the 15th century. The western area of this part of the castle was called Margaretengang and the eastern Elisabethgang. The Margarethengang was named after the wife of Landgrave Albrecht II. Margarethe, better known as Margaretha of Staufen, was a Sicilian princess from the House of Staufer. She was the daughter of Emperor Frederick II and his third wife Isabella of England. By marriage she became the Landgravine of Thuringia in 1254 or 1256. After first living with her husband in Eckartsburg at Castle Eckartsberga, the couple then moved to Wartburg Castle. In 1270, the landgrave is said to have persuaded a donkey servant to murder his wife Margarete. This was because Landgrave Albrecht had begun an affair with Kunigunde of Eisenberg and wanted to get rid of his wife. This is why the landgrave was later called "Albrecht the Degenerate". Margarethe is said to have learned of the assassination attempt and fled Wartburg Castle on 24 June 1270. According to legend, however, she bit her son Frederick on the cheek before fleeing. He therefore went down in history as "Frederick the bitten". Claire watched Fergus, whose eyes had widened as he listened to Klaußner. Unconsciously, the boy grabbed his right cheek as if he needed to reassure himself that his face was still intact. Claire poked Fraser, who was looking at a building, in the side with her right elbow. Fraser let out a soft, pained "Whew!" but before he could complain about Claire's rough treatment, she pointed Fraser to Fergus, whose hand was still protectively over his cheek. Jamie grinned all over his face.

Klaußner had now also noticed that his story had made a deep impression on Fergus and, to distract the boy, he explained that the Elisabethengang was named after Saint Elizabeth. Then he told the small group that Elizabeth of Thuringia had been born in Hungary as the daughter of King Andreas II. For this reason she is also called Elizabeth of Hungary. Already as an infant, she had been promised as a wife to the eldest son of Landgrave Hermann of Thuringia. At the age of four, she was brought to Thuringia with a rich dowry. There she was brought up in the family of her future husband. This was common practice within noble families for a long time and was practised well into modern times. Jamie and Claire, who had been watching Fergus all this time, exchanged knowing glances again when they saw the boy's eyes widen once more. They were sure that Fergus was thinking about what it must be like to have to leave his own family and homeland at the age of four. Klaußner had not missed Fergus' thoughtful look either. He continued his story of Saint Elisabeth and reported that after her first fiancé, Hermann of Thuringia, had died at the age of only 16, she was married to his brother Ludwig IV. According to the sources, Ludwig IV's marriage to Elisabeth was a happy one. The Landgrave is said to have been devoted to his wife with a loyalty and sensitivity that differed from the customs of his peers. Contrary to the conventions of her time, Elisabeth is said to have sat next to her husband instead of opposite him. She is also said to have regularly accompanied him on his travels. Elisabeth's energetic commitment to the needy and the sick was also supported by her husband. In 1223, for example, the couple founded a hospital in Gotha together and provided it with plenty of property, the income from which was to finance it in the long term. Quite obviously, the couple also shared their religious convictions. In 1227, the landgrave followed a vow he had made a few years earlier and set out with a large retinue to take part in Emperor Frederick II's fifth crusade. In the presence of her husband, Elisabeth of Thuringia made a twofold vow before the altar of St Catherine's Church in Eisenach: she promised to obey her confessor Conrad, provided this did not restrict the landgrave's rights, and in the event that Ludwig should die before her, she promised unconditional and unrestricted obedience as well as perpetual chastity. Just as Elisabeth submitted to the will of her confessor in many areas of her life with this vow, the confessor thereby assumed the duty of guiding her pastorally to spiritual perfection. As one of the first acts, he ordered her to use only such goods in her court life where she could be sure that they were not based on illegally extorted landlord income. Shortly afterwards, the pregnant Elisabeth accompanied her husband to the border of Thuringia and only said goodbye to him there. The landgrave and his entourage then travelled via Hesse, Franconia, Swabia and Bavaria to Italy to meet Emperor Frederick II's crusading army. However, on 12 September, shortly after embarking in Otranto, Landgrave Ludwig then died of an infection. He was only 27 years old and left behind three children: Hermann II, Sophie and Gertrud. His youngest daughter was never to know her father. Ludwig's death was kept from Elisabeth for a long time, but she suspected it and urged the family to tell her. The news of her death led to a breakdown. Afterwards she is said to have said: "Now all the world and all wealth and all prestige shall have died to me. [...] If now my brother has died, the world has died for me too." Soon after the landgrave's death, conflicts in Ludwig IV's family, which had previously been laboriously suppressed, escalated. Immediately after his brother's death, Heinrich Raspe, Ludwig's younger brother, who considered Elisabeth to be unfit, had taken over the regency in place of Hermann, who was only five years old, and one of his first acts was to deprive Elisabeth of the power of disposal over the lands and income that Ludwig had guaranteed her as a widow's estate. Elisabeth then left the Wartburg together with her immediate servants.

For some time the women lived in very poor conditions, at times even in a former pigsty. Only a letter of protection issued for Elisabeth by Pope Gregory IX, which arrived in Thuringia in February or March 1228, won her renewed respect and support. Elisabeth spent the last three years of her life as a poor hospital nurse in Marburg. She earned her living by spinning wool for the Altenberg monastery, where her youngest daughter Gertrud was housed. In the hospital, which had been built with part of Elisabeth's widow's inheritance, she performed the most menial maid services. She devoted herself especially to the care of lepers, who, in the terms of the time, were among the most miserable of the miserable and lived marginalised lives on the fringes of society. She died at the age of only 24. Two accounts of her death have survived. One comes from Irmgard, one of the Marburg hospital sisters, and one from a letter written by her confessor, Conrad of Marburg, to Pope Gregory IX. According to these sources, she fell ill on 4 or 5 November and died on the night of 16-17 November 1231. Elizabeth was canonised on 27 May 1235. Fergus had listened attentively to Mr Klaußner's report and Claire had to give him a little nudge so that when they left the area of the outer castle he did not lag behind. Klaußner led the small group past the castle's own cistern. As they continued on their way, the guide explained that the main castle area was bordered by a series of buildings that dated from the second half of the 19th century: the New Bower, the Gate Hall and the Dirnitz, a heated dining and common room. The medieval buildings in this area of the castle had already fallen into disrepair by the 18th century. Later, the medieval condition of the courtyard was reconstructed through excavations.
View of the courtyard from the South Tower - Picture by A.Savin - Own work, FAL, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=96805928 The castle's museum with large parts of the art collection was located in the gate hall, the new bower and the Dirnitz from the 19th century. They first entered the Dirnitz, built in 1867, which once housed the Grand Ducal Armoury with a very important historical collection of weapons ''of European rank''. The most valuable items were 70 suits of armour belonging to well-known historical personalities. This collection was taken to the Soviet Union after the Second World War in February 1946 and only some piece were later returned to Germany. In the three buildings, the small group then viewed a permanent exhibition presenting the lives of famous guests, residents and landgraves at the castle. Numerous exhibits and paintings by Lucas Cranach, among others, showed the eventful history from the construction in the 12th century, the stay of St. Elisabeth and Martin Luther, the decay as well as the reconstruction in the 19th century. They now moved over to the central building of the main castle, the late Romanesque Palas, the landgrave's residence. According to Klaußner, apart from the south tower, the Pallas is the only building in the area of the main castle that has survived from the Middle Ages.

He then pointed to the house opposite and explained that this, now used as a restaurant, was once the castle's gadem. A gadem was a one-room building in which harvest supplies and similar things were stored. In peaceful times, the gadem could also be used to house people. The Wartburg's gadem, which had also served as a magazine, armoury and court kitchen, was restored between 1874 and 1877. The basement with its barrel cellar was preserved. Adjacent to the Gadem was a brewery.
"Now please follow me into the most important building of the castle," Klaußner said and pointed to the Pallas.

Soo... I had been working on a longer story. But I got bored of my storyline where it is and decided to timeskip and post the one shots to Tumblr. But before I can post any of them I have to establish each of the added characters.
Order of information
Name/ age/ parent/ short description
Vera/15/Natasha/ younger and slightly less traumatized version of Natasha. Same features and body shape. Very direct and willing to take charge as needed. Is best friends with Cam
Jamie/ 12/ Yelena/Tan girl with brown hair. Twin to Lilith, and best friend to her sister. Very mature for her age and extremely kind hearted.
Lilith/12/ Yelena/ tan girl with blonde hair, twin to Jamie. She is Jamie's protector. As kindhearted as Jamie is she doesn't see the evil in this world. Lily protects Jamie from said evil and makes sure her baby sister (by 4 minutes) is safe
Maysie/ 7 /pepper/young girl with strawberry blonde hair. Loveable and smart. She loves making time to do things with each member of her giant family. She prefers to do things with Vera because Vera loves her to death. But also enjoys fun with the whole gang when she can.
Elena/ 5/Natasha/ product of Natasha qnd Clint's two year wedding anniversary. Adorable little redhead who loves archery and has grown up loving her big sissy. She looks up to vera as a role model and vera makes extra time for her so she can fulfill her big sister duties.
Luna/ 3/ pepper/ adopted by Pepper as an infant with her sister amber. Both girls had been surrendered to foster care and pepper took them in and adopted them on their first birthday. Tan girl with white blonde hair and blue eyes.
Amber/ 3 /pepper/ adopted by Pepper as an infant with her sister luna. Both girls had been surrendered to foster care and pepper took them in and adopted them on their first birthday. Tan girl with dark red almost brown hair and blue eyes.
Savannah/ 2 months/ Yelena/ recently adopted by Yelena. Had been taken out of a car accident, her mother died, father is nowhere to be seen and all other family refused to take her. Happy baby hardly ever cries.
