Creative Tuscan Mediterranean Design and Interior
Mediterranean colors are known for their ability to evoke a sense of tranquility and warmth, encapsulating the essence of the region’s breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture. The combination of the deep blue sea and the clear sky creates a mesmerizing backdrop that is complemented by warm terra cotta, lavender, and yellow tones, all of which contribute to the overall charm of this color palette. These earthy hues not only provide a rich, romantic feel, but also reflect the rustic beauty of the Mediterranean doors. In the Tuscan color palette, the emphasis on gorgeous russet oranges and other earthy, unpretentious hues adds a touch of warmth and elegance reminiscent of a captivating sunset. The use of copper and russet shades further enhances the romantic and flattering ambiance, making the decor truly inviting and enchanting. Find Us At:-Etsy MOGULGALLERY
Tumblr media
Burnished bronze urns, filigree carved chests and wrought-iron cabinets create a Mediterranean look, but with a Moroccan influence. Rich embroidered textiles and colorful embroideries create a kaleidoscope of design. Moroccan curtains and silks add a lavish feel and are stunning wall treatments.
Tumblr media
Coffee and end tables made from old Indian doors and windows give a deep, rich warmth of something that’s been around for a long time. The vibrant colors of Indian textiles like the handmade mirror cloth pillows and sheer gauzy curtains give the room an ethereal touch. Pashmina beddings with paisley motifs and jamavar designs reflect your cultural identity. Bone inlay cabinets and side tables embossed with brass, an old hope chest at the foot of the bed complete the rustic look. Antique carved doors and panels from India make beautiful unique headboards and resemble doorway arches seen in Spanish architecture.
youtube
You can create a unique Spanish Colonial dining room by visualizing a ceiling with old banjara textiles, the mirrors throwing off reflections onto the architectural columns that accent the doorway. Add a decorative element to the room with rich hued draperies that complement the rustic woods of the columns. The long Spanish-style bench made from old Indian Corbels is whimsical and yet gives a traditional feels setting the tone for the rest of the home.

Manthan In Mayfair Cited As One Of The “Reasons To Love London” - Manthan Mayfair
We could tell you a lot of things about our modern and stylish Indian restaurant – ranging from our innovative Indian dishes that nonetheless evoke so many of the best traditions of home-cooking in this part of the world, right through to our stately townhouse setting. But of course, we also realise that many of the most powerful words said in reference to Manthan Mayfair do not originate from us, but instead from many of the individuals who have sampled the pleasures of our carefully cultivated menus.
So, with that in mind, we were delighted to be written about in glowing terms lately by Luxury Travel Advisor’s London Correspondent, Emily Goldfischer.
Praise for an “intimate, sexy spot” offering food that is “off-the-charts delicious”
Correctly declaring that “London is buzzing” just weeks into 2023, Emily stated in a 14th February article for the Luxury Travel Advisor website that the UK capital already offered “so much to look forward to” this year.
The piece was entitled “Five Reasons to Love (and Book) London”, and drew attention to such sights as the National Portrait Gallery, which is set to reopen this summer with two must-see exhibitions having been closed since 2020, and the hip-hop musical Sylvia, which focuses on suffragette Sylvia Pankhurst’s life and work.
Emily was also, however, clearly enthused about our own Indian restaurant in one of London’s most affluent and high-class districts. In her words: “Manthan in Mayfair is the latest London venue of Michelin-star chef Rohit Ghai. His pedigree includes stints in India with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts as well as The Taj Hotels and Resorts, before moving to London where he worked at leading eateries Benares, Trishna, Gymkhana, Hoppers and, most recently, Jamavar.”
The writer went on to observe: “Chef Ghai is the first Indian chef to have won a Michelin star for Jamavar within 10 months of the restaurant’s opening. Manthan is an intimate, sexy spot on Maddox Street, and the food is off-the-charts delicious.”
Why not book your own table at Manthan Mayfair to see what the fuss is all about?
Everyone here at Manthan would certainly like to extend our thanks to Emily for her flattering words, even if – as we also recently covered in our news section – it has been far from the only positive review of our establishment lately!
We are, of course, proud to receive such positive feedback, but equally open to constructive criticism on how we can further optimise every aspect of the dining experience for our discerning patrons.
Conceived by chef Rohit Ghai and his business partner Abhishake Sangwan, Manthan Mayfair doesn’t believe in simply ‘doing’ Indian cuisine the way it has always been done. Yes, so much of our highly regarded gastronomy is strongly rooted in the beloved traditions of the Indian subcontinent… but we are no less committed to the kind of inventiveness and innovation that helps make our dishes feel utterly relevant to the sensibilities of today’s diners.
If you are keen to see and experience for yourself all the elements of our service that make Manthan Mayfair a class apart even in this area of the UK capital that is renowned for its exacting standards, you are very welcome to be our guest. Simply make your reservation online today, and we would be pleased to treat you to all the culinary magic our venue can bestow.

Sunday spice @jamavarlondon an Indian restaurant in swanky Mount street a few steps away from other swanky spots like Sexy Fish, Amazonico, Annabel’s and Scotts. • It’s an intimate, dimly-lit space with dressed up diners sharing modern Indian dishes. • We had several small plates to start: Telicherry pepper soft shell crab and plum chutney, Malabar prawns in white turmeric, onion and curry leaves, and the kid goat shami kebab with bone marrow sauce and mint chutney. • From the tandoor, we had the classic chicken tikka with sweet basil, pickled radish and yoghurt - this version was extra spicy and really needed that yogurt to temper the chili. • We couldn’t not have the Delhi butter chicken with fresh tomato and fenugreek along with the southern spice coconut milk lobster tail, pearl onions and dosa. Garlic naan, basmati rice and cucumber raita were also ordered to accompany the curries. • An authentic Indian meal, quite good but pricey #TravelswithaGourmet #TWAGLondon #Jamavar #yum #foodiesofinstagram #foodiegram (at Jamavar London) https://www.instagram.com/p/CUTc4MnKe_Y/?utm_medium=tumblr
