Phew, what a freaking crazy night! We were at a bar, and then we weren't, and then I woke up with this huge tramp stamp! I can't even remember going to a tattoo place, but Siobhan says I went off with this guy to get it done, 'cause I told him I wanted my first one. I didn't even know I wanted a tat!
It is super cute though. Like it totally suits me.

1500-1599 Recap Part 63:
Marielle became a child and soon Margaret had her twins Samuel and Sybil after her oldest John died.
Adrian and Barnaby became toddlers as did their cousin Rachel. Then the boys became big brothers as Wilmot delivered Florence.
Julian and Josian became children and were partly raised by Larissa who did admit that she missed having children around. I was seriously considering having Larissa remarry after Thomas eventually died at this point since she is a family oriented sim.

Over the years I have found that actors who are great friends for real life have the best chemistry onscreen. You can't manufacture that kind of chemistry. It's just natural. The physicality. The effortless comfortability they have around each other. The fire chemistry. These couples are James Lafferty and Bethany Joy Lenz from One Tree Hill who were great friends for real and are still close to this day. They've been to many comic cons and the chemistry is still on full display at these events (Nathan and Haley), Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes from Dawson's Creek dated for real life and remained friends even after breakup. Josh said that Katie was his closest friend on set (Pacey and Joey), Jaleel White and Kellie Shanygne Williams from Family Matters were friends onset and Kellie recently said how she had a crush on Jaleel. They recently were reunited in an interview and their chemistry is still fire (Steve and Laura), Tom Welling and Erica Durance from Smallville were great friends. I love to hear Tom talk about Erica because there's clearly so much respect and love between them. They really loved to work with each other (Clark and Lois), Kennedy McMann and Alex Saxon from Nancy Drew are great friends. I don't know much else about their relationship. I just know that Kennedy has said they are close friends and also Kennedy is a big supporter of the Nace ship. I've also heard of little improvs and story ideas that they came up with for Nace so they clearly are very simpatico (Nancy and Ace), Erin Moran and Scott Baio from Happy Days dated on and off through the years (Chachi and Joanie), Rachel Brosnahan and Luke Kirby from The Marvelous Mrs Maisel are amazing friends. And this is another situation of two actors who really support each other and have a huge amount of respect for each other (Midge and Lenny) what all these couples have in common is that they are friends and/or romantically involved. One or both of the actors in each ship are major supporters or shippers of their characters together, they all have had amazing chemistry all through the years even after the shows ended, they all respect each other as actors and each other's talents, they all have fire chemistry that remained strong through the entire run of the shows, and insane physicality where they are so comfortable with each other and and great at adding little physical intimacies to their fictional relationships.
Some chemistry you can sort of manufacture. You can create the long looks, the stolen glances, the yearning, the jealousy. But then there's the upper echelon of TV couples that just have it all. They have all these things but the chemistry endures past the yearning stage 💖
Then there are some couples who maybe weren't overly close. They either hated each other or just got along but weren't super close and those couples mostly have that manufactured chemistry and I'm not saying that it doesn't take talent to do that. It takes acting talent and some of it is genuine. Also this chemistry is not bad. I love the long looks and the stolen glances but these types of couples need long ass slowburns because some of that naturally goes away when they get together like the yearning and stolen glances for instance. They don't have those crutches to fall back on and all they have is that little bit of genuine chemistry. I do wanna clarify that I have always hated when writers make couples on and off unnecessarily. Give them the slowburn but keep them together once they get together you cowards lol
There are other couples with insane chemistry who are close for real life but I had to end this post sometime but they exist and those are special ships to be sure! 💗

The Last Improv Show 2023 recap!
I’m incredibly proud of the work I do with The Last Improv Show.
I filmed all of this (except I think 4 clips) and I went through hundreds of videos I shot through the year, to edit most, if not all, improvisers and monologists that were on the show in 2023 (excluding The Kennedy Center) into this reel.
I am very grateful to be a part of the team. ☺️
Some monologists featured in 2023 shows:
Bob Odenkirk, Ike Barinholtz, Kumail Nanjiani, Nolan Gould, Kelly Osbourne, Dolph Ziggler, Cameron Esposito, Jaleel White, Billy Eichner, Brett German, Terry Crews, Jeannie Mai, Kathy Griffin, Kristen Schaal, Joel Mchale, Patrick Renna, Paul Walter Hauser, Jason Reitman, Pauly Shore, Rainn Wilson, Bill Nye, and more!
Some improvisers featured in 2023 shows:
Dan Black, Carl Tart, D'Arcy Carden, Jason Mantzoukas, Paul B Welsh, Bobby Moynihan, Neil Casey, Brandon Scott Jones, Nicole Byer, Seth Rogen, Lennon Parham, Anthony King, Ego Nwodim, Betsy Sodaro, Mike Mitchell, Lauren Lapkus, Jessica McKenna, Jon Gabrus, Paul Scheer, Drew Tarvar, Skylar Astin, Edi Patterson, Brandon Gardner, Brett Gelman, Mary Holland, Katie Dippold, Phil Augusta Jackson, Joe Wengert, Beth Appel, and more!
Produced by Christina Calph.

A drunken threesome is actually a really great idea, like no regrets or whatever, but like make sure it's people you'll never see again! Not your roommate!
Seriously, it was SO awkward at breakfast this morning. But also so funny. We couldn't stop laughing, like seriously, what were we thinking? I guess we were thinking that he was cute as hell and there was only one of him...

I’m glad it was Ramona Scott approached, and not me, because I would be almost insulted that he didn’t think I knew that.
“Yeah, Jaleel White. He also played Urkel on Family Matters. Honestly, it’s not that weird. Yeah, it’s odd that two different cartoon adaptations of the same video game series aired at the same time, but I understand why they did it. They were very different shows, like you said; they had very different reasons for existence! Trying to put all that in the same series would have made a tonal mess. No, the really weird part is that a few years later, Jaleel White voiced Sonic again in a third cartoon where Sonic has two siblings, and they’re all in a rock band together. And there was a song in every episode, but he didn’t do the singing voices. Those were different people. And the guy who did Sonic’s singing voice was the same guy who played...”

I didn't realize you were a Sonic fan! who are your favorite Sonic VA's?
Yes! I’ve been a Sonic fan since I was a wee lass, kind of came with being autistic, lmao. But Oh MAN, if we’re talking about Sonic VAs then I HAVE to break it down character by character. Sorry but this WILL be long:
Sonic: Jason Griffith, hands down. My first Sonic actor was Ryan Drummond (My actual first very own Sonic game was Heroes but I was watching the AoStH cartoon and watched the OVA when I was a kid. But this is strictly for the games), but all things considered I really warmed up to Jason’s Sonic, especially because he was the warmest and friendliest-sounding Sonic. Easily the best Sonic voice for me overall. I will give props to Roger though for FINALLY sounding decent in Frontiers, the decent writing (THANK YOU, IAN FLYNN) and the voice directing helped him out. But Jason’s still the best.
Tails: Amy Palant. While I do like Colleen O’Shaughnessey a lot, Amy’s was pretty distinct. Though my actual favorite Tails voice, William Corkery, was very short-lived but it was the cutest. But I liked the fluctuations of tone in Amy’s Tails voice.
Knuckles: oh man, THIS one is hard. It’s a toss-up between Scott Drier and Dan Green. Travis Willingham is ok but he was just imitating Dan’s voice. And I like Dave B. Mitchell but I think I need to hear his voice more. But yeah, Scott or Dan are both my top faves because Scott made Knux sound younger and less like a stereotypical musclehead, but Dan Green is… well, it’s Dan Green! You can’t beat his “ARE YOU CRAZY?!?! WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO?!?!”
Amy: Could go either way between Jennifer Doulliard or Lisa Ortiz. I respect Cindy Robinson, but… I don’t think she was the best fit for Amy.
Shadow: MAN this one is also tough, between David Humphrey and Jason Griffith, they were both insanely incredible choices for Shadow. May have to lean with Jason due to nostalgia. Also side note, I think people give Kirk Thornton too much shit because of the horrible voice direction in the games he was in. He can do a decent Shadow when the voice director isn’t screwing him over (AND WHEN THE AUDIO MIXING IS ACTUALLY COMPETENT. LOOKING AT YOU, FORCES).
Rouge: I like all three a lot, though Kathleen Delaney is the one I probably lean the most towards. Perfect sultry tones for Rouge. But I adore Lani and Karen as well.
Omega: uhhh, I think as long as the voice has the proper robot filter, it doesn’t matter too much lol
Silver: Pete Capella. No contest. Though Quinton Flynn did a good job too.
Blaze: Probably stick with Bella Hudson, she was the OG Blaze and she did it best in my opinion.
Babylon Rogues: The OG cast, Jason, Dan, and Bella, we’re the best. I can’t be convinced otherwise.
Team Chaotix: I think they’ve all had good voices each time around, though for Charmy I will say that Amy Birnbaum was the best.
Eggman: No contest, Mike Pollock. His voice is iconic! He has the range! He IS Eggman! I did like Deen Bristow though too, for the short time we had him. But Mike is the best and I can’t stand to hear anyone else playing as Eggman.
I think that’s my general opinions so far, I mainly covered the games since that’s what the media is based in more. BUT! Special props to OVA actor Martin Burke, AoStH actor Jaleel White, and movie actor Ben Schwartz for their roles too, they were all fitting voices (oh and Idris Elba was such a badass pick for Knuckles).
#Kiiinda overlooked Cream and Big but mainly because we don’t get to hear them often#though I will say Big’s voice in Frontiers was endearing

Year 1576 Part 3:
TW/CW: Death, Death Mention
Gilbert and Seema’s twins celebrated their sixth birthday with Julian being a respectful child and Josian feeling out of place in the little farm house, she felt a pull to go elsewhere.
Janet could tell that it wouldn’t be long until her grandfather Thomas passed and was determined to make him happy until his last days despite feeling the urge to leave the small town when she was of age. As morbid as it sounded, she figured it would just be best to wait it out.
News travelled quickly among the family when Ambrose’s wife, Ann, passed away suddenly with no warning. It was as if her heart just gave out from what Ambrose could tell. Then came news that Larissa’s daughter-in-law Evelyn had passed away from old age. A few short weeks after that news came word that Agnes had been widowed from her husband passing of natural causes though it was a shame considering how young he was.
In Tartosa, Parnell bonded with Florence and having luxuries like hobbies and a full stomach she began to wonder if maybe a singular child would be so terrible. Though soon Wilmot and her children returned to her marital home when her husband returned from his travels for an undetermined amount of time.
At the Ashtor home things were going well, Elizabeth was able to attend her friend William’s wedding and spend time with their sister, Cecily. Rachel was doted on by both her parents but when Elizabeth started getting sick she had a sense that something was going to change soon.
