3) Make New Friends but Keep Discord (S5E7)

Ya know what I love? Getting a feel for how my f/os would be in a relationship. Ya know what else I love? When my f/os make me laugh, both on purpose and not. And this episode's got both of those in the BEST possible way. I'm not jokin, this episode fuckin KILLS me and its mostly just from seeing Cordie getting so jealous and petty. (Oh yeah I haven't mentioned the plot) The whole synopsis of the episode is basically Discord getting jealous that his only friend (and yes him and Fluttershy are just friends don't @ me) is giving anyone else but him attention, and he gets... SO DAMN PETTY OVER IT GSBXHFB 😅 I know that realistically, jealousy is a bad part of relationships but you gotta understand that this is silly and fun babby show (and in the end Discord learns being jealous is Bad) so its all in good fun. Not only are there so many good jokes, especially in the second half (there's a lil Spongebob-type fourth wall break that had me ROLLING) and a bunch of purely exquisite references (they referenced The Shining for goodness sake), but there's also one or two good moments where Discord gets a bit intimidating and breaks out that Scary Voice 😳 Also he wears a SUIT so all in all this was a VERY good one for me -w-

❤️ Despite his seemingly tough exterior, Jak is such a gentleman to you and a few others (ie. Daxter, Tess, Sig, etc.), just doesn’t want to show it off. Whether you need to some help in welding or just wanting to be there for you, he’s going to be there.

💜 Eyebrows moving about so slow and sultry like Cary Grant whenever you two get flirty with each other? #Nosebleed! But in a good way.

Introducing the most mysterious member of the Nordic Five, Sweden from the Hetalia series!

Where do I even begin with Sweden? With the intimidating vibe coming off of him, people often mistake him for being angry, and/or really scary. In reality, he just doesn’t know how to be open and social without coming off as weird or uncomfortable. (Unless it’s a debate, then he’s more than willing to say his part!) He’s very shy and stoic, but at heart, he’s very playful.

I can imagine having you by his side would make it much easier for him to speak up, as you managed to see through his often misunderstood aura. He may be subtle when it comes to giving you affection, but in the end, he truly does his best to pour his heart out to you. Maybe you’ll recieve a few handmade gifts here and there, or maybe he’ll pull you in for a snuggle on the couch without saying a word. Hell, if he’s feeling like it, he’ll even give you a few smooches! He’s an actions-speak-louder-than-words kind of guy, if that makes sense. He may not be vocal about it often, but do know that having you around truly makes him feel like the happiest man alive.

Jack prefers dogs most of the time! However, they Hate him and Will growl at any given opportunity whenever Jack is around lol.

His nonexistent sleep schedule is probably one of the most noticeable dnxjfndnsn. This whole ass man can literally go for days without sleeping. Also, although it’s rare, when he’s particularly stressed Jack has a habit of chain-smoking.

Self-Insert Positivity Post

hey guys its me, sheepy and im pretty late but i still wanted to make a post about self-insert positivity thing going on

i started self-insert and self-shipping firstly with x readers more than anything else for YEARS - a friend of mine had done self shipping quite extensively and i had been keeping an eye on @affectionatealien ‘s blog because their content was really fucking cute and i am nothing but supportive... then i found out that there was actually an extensive community of self-shippers one day and i was like “well fuck, i wanna do this... i’ll make my own blog for this too!” pretty soon after i started crushing hard for black hat!

and so i did. i started off as a really small blog without much attention but @aquasworldismusicsworld helped me really feel comfortable within the community and was one of the first people to inspire me to make my own self ship content via art rather than just gushing about it and it was honestly incredibly freeing and amazing and was VERY fun to draw... thank you so much aqua i will never forget u fam. other blogs who also did this for me were @lovelybfs and @corporate-funded-selfshipping and @zorosgirlfriend 

and every day being part of this community has been amazing and it just keeps getting better in my personal opinion. honestly a lot of it boils down to the fact that ever since i had created the self shipping discord, it has been so much easier for me to talk to other self shippers and make more friends in this community as it has been nothing but a positive experience so far. and it’s been very, very fun. hilariously making the discord has also led to me dragging my friends into the self-shipping community as well! they could see the positivity for themselves! yeah, i’m calling out @hehemyers and @justicemust !!!

OMG I ACTUALLY DID ONE OF THESE! I was actually writing something quite different for this prompt at first, but it wasn’t coming out at all with my original idea. But I really like what I ended up writing.

I apologize if this isn’t the best, but I poured out quite a bit of my feelings for the fuzzy elf here:

Lazy afternoons on a Sunday might have been depressing to most people, but Jocelyn Allen found herself enjoying them greatly as it gave her the chance to cuddle up to her boyfriend, Kurt Wagner. They had snuck away to their bedroom, simply wanting time to themselves. The two of them were currently tangled up in each other’s arms. Jocelyn couldn’t have been happier, feeling safe as she snuggled up to Kurt’s chest, his arms around her. It was simply perfect. Until…

“Would it be easier if I looked like everyone else?”

Jocelyn paused as the question had seemingly come out of nowhere. She picked her head up from her boyfriend’s chest, blinking up at him with furrowed eyebrows as he looked off to the side, avoiding her gaze.

“What?”

“I’ve been thinking a lot recently. How… how hard it is for us,” Kurt chewed on his bottom lip, “People don’t take too kindly to us when we go out in public. I was wondering if it would be easier if I wasn’t… blue.”

Jocelyn remained silent for a moment. It wasn’t because she didn’t know what to say, but because her heart was breaking and she simply couldn’t get the words out.

It was true that it was difficult for them to go out in public. Kurt hated using the image inducer, and eventually ditched it after a while. Most of the X-Men had encouraged him to ditch it, the only exceptions being Scott and Xavier, who believed it would cause too much attention. Jocelyn’s stance was she loathed the damned thing, but she told Kurt his comfort was the number one priority, even if she did feel awkward about being affectionate with him while he had it on.

But as a result of ditching it, the couple often received nasty remarks from others who were against mutants. One time, they went to a restaurant where a waiter refused to serve them. The waiter was fired on the spot and they were given a free dinner as an apology, but Jocelyn knew it upset Kurt greatly. Not to mention the guys who would purposely flirt with Jocelyn in front of Kurt, even after she made it very clear that they were dating.

“I like the fact that you’re blue,” Jocelyn sat up, frowning more.

Kurt gave her a weak smile, “You don’t have to say that just to make me feel better, Liebling. Besides, it would be easier on us if I was normal. You should be able to have a normal life.”

It was very rare for Kurt to get down on himself like this. He was usually rather confident and laughed in the faces of the people who cursed his existence. But it had to get tiring at times.

“You really think I would want a normal life?” Jocelyn didn’t know if she should be insulted, “Answer me this; would I have stuck around here if I wanted to live a normal life?”

“I guess you would have left already,” Kurt chuckled, “But still… why me? You could have anyone you want. Someone normal.”

“Kurt, stop saying that word,” Jocelyn shook her head, moving to straddle him. Kurt’s cheeks turned a dark purple as Jocelyn did so. He looked up at her with wide eyes as her hands trailed up his body. He had first half of the buttons on his shirt undone, revealing his chest. Jocelyn lightly stroked the soft fur there, causing him to purr slightly from the sensation, “I chose you because I love you. I don’t want anyone “normal”. I want you. Only you.”

Kurt paused as soon as Jocelyn said that. She smiled sweetly at him, and he was suddenly overcome with emotion.

“Why?” was all Kurt could get out.

“Well, for starters, you’re quite possibly the sweetest person I’ve ever met,” Jocelyn leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to his lips, “You’re always looking out for me. You’re always there for me. You do so much for me. I don’t know where’d I be without you.”

She pressed another kiss to his cheek, “You make me laugh. You make me feel safe. You make me happy.”

Kurt bit his lip, trying to hold back the tears that started to well up in his eyes. It wasn’t often that he got so overwhelmed with emotion.

Jocelyn’s kisses trailed slowly down his neck, “Your fur is so soft and warm. I love feeling it under my fingers. Not to mention it’s the prettiest shade of blue I’ve ever seen. You also have the most gorgeous eyes ever. They remind me of the sun.”

“Jocelyn…” Kurt sighed softly as she kissed back up his neck and pressed her lips against his again.

“Have I ever told you how cute I think your pointy ears are?” Jocelyn moved to nibble one of his earlobes. Kurt couldn’t help it. A few tears escaped as Jocelyn continued to praise him, “I love your sharp teeth too. I especially love it when your fangs graze my skin.”

That was it. He couldn’t stop himself from crying.

She sat back up, grabbing one of his hands and kissing his palm, “You’re hands are so strong. And when I hold your hand, it feels right. I feel safe. I feel at home. You give the best hugs. Especially when your tail wraps around me. And I’m not even mentioning your perfect cheekbones, strong jaw, incredibly kissable lips, or those godly muscles.”

Kurt couldn’t help but smile through his tears at that part, “I’m supposed to be the sappy, romantic one.”

Jocelyn opened her eyes and looked back down at him. Her smile fell as she noticed he was crying, “Oh my god, I didn’t mean for you to cry!”

“You’re too good to me,” Kurt pulled Jocelyn closer to him, embracing her and rolling over so she was beneath him. Her arms wrapped tightly around him as he hid his face in her neck. He allowed himself to cry for a little bit, needing to get it out.

He was so thankful for her. He relaxed completely against her as she gently ran her fingers through his hair, and her other hand rubbed his back. Jocelyn whispered soft reassurances into his ear, gently pressing kisses to his forehead.

After who knew how long, Kurt lifted his face from her shoulder. Jocelyn cupped his face in her hands, smiling softly as he leaned in. Their lips came together in a slow, yet passionate kiss resulting in wandering hands and soft moans from both of them. When they pulled away to catch their breath, Kurt rested his forehead against hers.

“Ich liebe dich,” he whispered.

“I love you too,” Jocelyn’s hands wandered down his chest, “You’re my fuzzy blue elf. And I wouldn’t want you any other way.”

Kurt broke out into a grin. He pulled her closer, burying his face into her neck once more. No matter what life would throw at him, he had her.

And that’s all that mattered.

1) what’s a Hot Take you have about your f/o?

Forgetting to draw Junkrat's prosthetics or drawing them on the wrong side (or even just refusing to draw them) always felt kinda ableist to me :/ Of course this doesn't mean that the person who did it is ableist but it just shows a level of ignorance, especially if the excuse is cuz they're "too hard to draw". But thats just me 😌

11) do you think it’s better to have a copious amount of content for your f/o, even with the risk of finding a lot of ship art, or better to have a lot less?

Listen. I'm dating The Rat because I AM a rat. And I will get my grubby little hamds on any and every piece of Junkrat content I can find, no matter how good or bad. I can't make a judgement call on it if I dont even see it, after all!!

“It’s been really fine since getting out of that stuffy sarcophagus years ago due to Harry accidentally and permanently restoring me back to normal. It was quite tricky to say the least in the beginning, with having to deal with so much vast information I wasn’t able to hear or learn about for many millennia, using items I didn’t use before in Anicient Egypt, and catching up with the rest of the world when it has come long way since my reign as a pharaoh.

But I was able not to lose my grip in the end and I have been doing well in my current job as a world history teacher in a local high school in Daly City these days. Overworked, yes, but I still love my job though. In fact, all the things I went through to in my adjustment period did come in handy with the new guy still trying to understand the present day so far. Guess that we were able to get along easily on the fact that we weren’t prepared to deal with future shock immediately when we first got revived back from the dead years after our first deaths.”
