“Happy birthday, Angel.” Jake whispered against your lips, his hand lifting your chin upwards. “Look at me.”

You couldn't help but obey, your eyes focused on his as a smirk spread on his face. “Good girl.”

“Stop it,” you barely managed to whisper, but his smirk only grew bigger. Before you could react he had pressed his lips onto yours, a fleeting moment that somehow still managed to take your breath away.

“Never.”

You didn't know if it was his whisper or his hand suddenly appearing on your back that made you shiver, but it only seemed to satisfy Jake even more. You could feel his grin against your lips, suddenly finding yourself trapped between Jake and the wall, his hand still firm against your back. “I love getting those reactions out of you.”

Now, if this was a normal situation you would pout and call him a tease. But right now Jake made it kinda hard to think, especially when he only pulled you closer, his knee creeping between your legs. You let out a tiny gasp, your hand getting tangled in Jakes hair as his lips moved towards your jaw, tiny kisses soon turning more eager as he reached your neck.

“You didn't even say hello yet,” you somehow managed to say, but forgetting your own words within seconds when you felt him marking your collarbones.

“I am saying hello right now,” Jake mumbled. “In the best way I can imagine. Or would you disagree?”

You let out a tiny protest when he suddenly stopped kissing you, his eyes searching for yours. “Tell me.”

Another shiver went through you as you shook your head, your brain still trying to catch up with the situation.

“Come on, Angel,” he tsked. “Use your words.”

Your first instinct was to push him away, but before you could even blink he had already pushed you back against the wall, and wrists firmly pinned against it - and Jakes broad grin right in front of your face.

“Did I tease you too much?”

Now it really was your turn to pout, your feet unsuccessfully trying to kick against his. “I am way too flustered right now. Don't ask me anything.”

“Oh?” You could feel him kiss your jaw again, right under your ears, before you heard him whisper in your ear. “I don't think you mind though, do you?”

His voice turned deep, almost raspy, and with that your ability to think was completely gone.

“Come on, Angel. Use your words.”

A loud crashing sound followed by a string of curses was what woke Jake from his slumber. At first he was disoriented, not really sure where he was or what happened, but then he noticed the lack of a presence next to him.

"Y/n?" he called out, fingers searching for the lightswitch next to the bed. "Love?"

He just heard another commotion, finally able to turn on the light just to find out that yes, you were in fact not sleeping peacefully next to him. Worry took over, his feet stumbling in front of each other while his eyes tried to scan his surroundings. He slowly made his way towards the hallway, his fingers flipping the lightswitch again.

"Y/n?"

He heard you before he saw you, a small whimper coming from behind a cupboard. He had to tip-toe, trying not to step on all the things that had shattered from the cupboard onto the ground. And then he finally saw you, crouched behind it blinking into the light, a hand clutching your shoulder.

"Hey," he mumbled, kneeling down beside you. "What happened?"

"I didn't want to wake you," you sniffled. "Didn't want to turn the light on."

"Did you hurt yourself?" Jake was carefully lifting your arm to inspect your shoulder - and took in a shaky breath. There was already a mix of red and blue blooming on it, and it seemed like it was only getting darker.

"I crashed into the cupboard."

"Come here," Jake sat down next to you, his arms closing around your body. "You know it's no problem if you wake me up, right? I wouldn't have minded."

You nodded, snuggling closer towards your boyfriend. "I'm sorry."

"You have nothing to be sorry about," Jake mumbled. His lips were pressed against your hair, his arm drawing circles onto your back. "Are you okay?"

"It hurts."

"I'm sorry it does. Want me to kiss it better?"

You seemed to think for a second, until you finally whispered a small yes. Jake smiled, ready to deliver a few kisses to your shoulder until he noticed you flinching.

"Sorry," you mumbled again. "That hurts too."

"I am sorry. Is there anything I can do to make it better?"

"I don't think so."

Jake was thinking, trying to figure out a way to help you. "Back in my trainee days we always put some arnica ointment on it. Want me to get it for you?"

You nodded, watching Jake rummaging through the bathroom counters until he found what he'd been looking for, returning with a grin.

"Show me your shoulder please."

Jake was concentrated, trying his best not to hurt you more, while you tried to focus on his face instead of the pain in your shoulder. His eyebrows were scrunched together while the tip of his tongue slowly made its way to the corner of his mouth. You couldn't help but smile at the view, an action that didn't go unnoticed by your boyfriend. He grinned back, relief flooding him when you already seemed to be doing better.

"Should I carry you back to bed now?"

"Only if you hug me better there."

Jakes grin broadened when he kissed the top of your head again, carefully lifting you up. "You'll get all the cuddles you need."

"Craving my attention, babe?" he teased, tilting his head as he continued scrolling with his other hand.

You scoffed, crossing your arms. "No. You just looked too comfortable."

He chuckled, finally locking his phone and tossing it onto the couch beside him. His hands moved to rest on your waist, thumbs rubbing slow circles against your skin. "Mhm, sure. You totally didn’t just come over here because you missed me."

You rolled your eyes. "I did not."

"Say it," he smirked, leaning in slightly, his voice low and teasing. "Say you missed me."

You huffed, pushing at his chest. "You're so annoying."

Before he could respond, you attempted to get up, but the second you shifted, his grip on your waist tightened, effortlessly pulling you back down onto his lap.

"Not so fast," he murmured, his voice dipping as he pressed his lips to the side of your neck, his fingers gripping your waist just enough to make your breath hitch.

"Jake," you warned, but it came out softer than you intended.

"Mm?" he hummed against your skin, his hands sliding just a little lower, keeping you firmly in place.

You tried, really tried, to stay annoyed, but when he pulled back to look at you, his stupid smug grin replaced by something softer, warmer, you knew you were done for.

He leaned in, brushing his nose against yours. "Just admit it, babe. You wanted my attention."

You sighed dramatically but finally gave in, wrapping your arms around his neck. "Fine. Maybe a little."

His grin widened as he pulled you closer, pressing a kiss to your lips. "That’s all I needed to hear."

when declan is around 18 months, you start throwing up and it doesn’t stop for a couple of weeks and you and jake are like… what the hell

you were on birth control that didn’t give you periods so you didn’t think it would be pregnancy but alas…

you go to the doctor and you’re 5 months pregnant and you had no idea

you don’t know how to react at first 

like dec is still so young, your birth control had clearly failed, you only had 4 months to prepare

but there obviously isn’t much you can really do other than just start gearing up for your baby’s arrival

you get a bump and some symptoms soon after you find out

pregnancy starts kicking your ass during the third trimester though, doesn’t help you’re running after declan all day

jake of course is the best like you don’t even need to say anything, if you’re having a hard day he can just tell and will do anything to alleviate your stress

like if declan is being a lil shit and you’re stressed jake will seamlessly distract him with something else

weirdly good at convincing declan he needs a nap 

you decide to keep the gender a surprise because you know this will definitely be your last one and you’ve had enough surprises yk

he’s a bit jealous, especially since he’s still a little baby himself

you’ll sit down to feed eve and he’ll come up to you and start whining and tugging on your pants

i don’t think jake would be very strict

he is very much their friend and ally and they know that 

hates punishments and discipline, i mean he’ll dish it out but really struggles to stay strong when they cry or get upset

will apologise for having to do it afterwards

i don’t think he would be a very pushy parent, wouldn’t be too strict about grades or extra curriculars, but will support them in whatever it is 

the kids go to swimming lessons, but jake loves to help them in your pool at home, it reminds him of his childhood in Australia

definitely the type to just launch them in the air much to your horror 

loves it when the kids come to see a concert, just the knowledge that the kids are in the crowd gives him a little extra energy

engene posting on twitter that jake looks so happy

everything is all about the kids backstage, if they’re there then jake and the members are smothering them in attention

if he goes on your without them he always comes back with toys

accidentally starts a tradition of buying a teddy in each place he goes 

when you pick them up from school their plaits and ponytails and what have you obviously fell out hours ago

eve and ruby are a few months apart in age so they are besties of course 

jake would absolutely say the worst part of being a father is the kids growing up, when they get too big for him to hold and cuddle properly is when his heart hurts when he looks at them

he loves babies so much and always always misses the baby days but seeing his kids grow into independent, strong willed, talented individuals makes him so proud

they’re always his baby girls/boy

even when they’re older he will still give them cuddles when they’re sad

the kids go to australia maybe once a year or every other year, visit jake’s family

but you settle in a big apartment in seoul

kids speak a mix of english and korean at home, there’s no real pattern to it

they speak english amongst each other but i think with jake they mix it up

they also use mainly english names at home, you and jake like them more

they use korean and korean names pretty much anywhere outside the house

although ella does get called el by the members and jake pretty much at all times

before you knew it you were standing in a sea of cameramen, waiting for the drivers to make their way. a feeling of intimidation went down your spine when your eyes locked with yang jungwon’s, the promising rookie ferrari driver. the latest sensation from south korea making a buzz in the f1 world. the piercing look from across the room as he made his way towards you.

your gaze went down towards your shoes that shuffled in your spot where you stood. you take the short moment to gather your barrings and racing mind. your teeth gnawed at your bottom lip.

once he finally stood in front of you, you finally got the courage to raise your head to make eye contact with him once again. his cat-like eyes studied your features, soaking up every detail that he could at that moment noticing a few things he didn’t last race weekend.

clad in his racing suit exuding a quiet confidence. you observed his poised demeanor and the sparkle in his eyes.

"it’s nice to see you again," he spoke first breaking the silence between the two of you. he beamed a smile at you. his dimples showing off briefly.

you ignore the butterflies that fluttered in your stomach at the sight. he smelted like the champagne that had been poured on the top of his head whilst on the podium. your cheeks turned slightly red as your teeth bit on your bottom lip in an attempt to conceal a smile.

"you too."

"you look great." he complimented, his eyes slowly scanning the clad ferrari red dress on your body.

"thank you." a smile graced your features as your cheeks reddened as red as rubies, but if anyone asked you would blame it on the warm weather.

"i’m sure you and your team are very proud of your incredible performance today getting p1." he listened intently nodding his head along to every word you spoke. he hummed before putting the tube in his water bottle and taking a sip to hydrate. it was unprofessional you were aware, but your gaze briefly glanced at his lips. he concealed a smirk as he took notice.

"we worked very hard recently. we made some adjustments to the car and spoke about new strategies. the free practices went well including qualifying. the car did very well at preforming today."

"any big plans for celebration after this win?"

"taking you out to dinner." your taken aback by his response. your eyes widening at his bluntness, especially on camera, but you’d be stupid to decline a date with him. you shook your head out of disbelief a smile graced your lips.

"you can’t expect every woman to fall for your games just because you're famous." you teased in a attempt to lighten the tension.

"i don’t want every woman." he seemed very serious about the situation. your breath hitched in your windpipe. you take a second to gather your thoughts back to your professionalism and clear your throat. a smile graced your lips again.

"it was lovely speaking with you jungwon. congrats on such a good race and i wish you the best in austria."

"will you be interviewing me next week?" jungwon asked, with no intention of walking away from this conversation quite yet. his head tilted to the side a little with his brown eyes staring into yours.

"um, most likely."

"i look forward to speaking with you again, y/n." he gave you a wink as a farewell leaving you as a fumbled mess in the media pen. before you could bring yourself to leave the paddock you invited yourself to his driver's room to accept the dinner date offer.

Sim jaeyun, known as jake on campus, had been your situationship for a while, you were his and he was yours. At times, he would act like he was just a friend yet at times he would act like your lover. None of you questioned what you guys were, yet you would sneak in his dorm to share kisses, vice versa, yet at the end of night he’d kick you out somehow? Did he really like you? Were you just some fling to him? One day he was over at your dorm watching a horror movie, having enough you finally asked him the question…“jakey what are we?” , “friends, we’re friends angel” he replies, not taking his eyes off the movie which was playing. friends? friends really? after all that? As if he could hear your thoughts, he repeated a firm “friends.” without even looking at you. Jake finally looks away from the movie playing meeting your teary eyes. He gives you a blank look, almost emotionless. he never cared did he? did taking all of my firsts matter to him? “I don’t see you as anything else angel, just a friend. Stop thinking there’s anything yeah? Don’t worry your pretty head.” He says bluntly, like nothing ever mattered to him. Hearing jake sigh, you looked over tears streaming down your pretty face, his heart ached at the look on your face yet he couldn’t get himself to tell you he loves you, more than you could ever know. “Listen it’s just casual angel-”, you quickly cut him off crying out “jakey did nothing ever matter? All those kisses we shared under the sunset? Defending me and making sure no other guy talks about me? You even took me to meet your parents? Was all that fucking casual to you?” Yet all he did was sigh and walk out your dorm, leaving you crying and calling out his name. Did he look back? no.

You both kissed, loved each other, but his non-committal ways started becoming more and more obvious to you as time went on. 

musician!jake who is actually a horribly toxic partner and you both dated, going on and off for around 5 years already. He always strings girls along to make you jealous, hoping you’d run back into his arms and strangely enough, it works. You both ended up in a relationship twice already, hoping for the story to turn out differently, but it never did. 

musician!jake whose heart only contains your picture, but he can’t commit, if anything else. He has so many problems; which comes with being a high profile celebrity, being with you, another high profile celebrity during the time you both dated. Then he used rebounds and hopping around with many other high profile celebrities: models, musicians, actresses, you name it (not that you totally keep track of that…). He hopes that by doing this, you’ll crack and come to him, showing that you need him as much as he needs you. 

musician!jake who always seeks to feel your words and comfort, no matter how many rebounds he has. It’s a habit that he should stop, but seeing you with that new celebrity you announce you’re in a relationship (or even seeing) makes him, so so mad. He wishes that he could take you away from them. No matter who, and where, he selfishly wants you to be available for him. 

musician!jake who ropes you into a love triangle scandal, with him messing around with a less famous musician who went on to blow up instantly, and she went on to sing songs shading about him and why he doesn’t acknowledge her. The truth is, the only person whom he has ever acknowledged publicly is you, no other woman has ever held a candle to you. You have him wrapped around your fingers, and the same goes for you. The  media drags you, remembering surviving the hate because of your romantic relationship involvement, but it’s all worth it, as long as it’s him.

musician!jake who seems to never have his priorities straight— he always hurts you. In and out of a relationship. During the time of your relationship both times, you both often argued and then made up with a passionate night that made you weak in the knees when thinking back about it. But when you both really argued, he couldn’t stand you and always made you cry. You both had a lot of problems, but you realized one thing; he has even more issues than you, with the way he can’t make up his mind. 

musician!jake who finally realizes that you’re slipping away from his life for good, when you notice his patterns that never change. He’s your karmic lover, the greatest lover, the most passionate, but undoubtedly, the worst and most heartbreaking to let go of. You’re ready to give him up, even though you loved each other so much— but it’ll never work out. The relationship can’t go on like this and while you work on healing himself, he seems to never take his therapist’s words to heart. 

musician!jake who will spend time wondering about his ‘what if’s with you, mirroring yours. You both longed to love each other, but maybe in an alternate universe. You’re done with him. You’re done being hurt like this. And you hope that the next person can love you as much as he does, without hurting you.

“Umfh! Oh my goodness Layla!! You’re heeere!!” You squeal as the precious doggo pounced on you.

“Well aren’t you two excited to see each other?” You hear a voice say.

After giving Layla the biggest hug and special head pats, you look up to see your lovely boyfriend, adorning a just as lovely smile even though it was hidden behind his mask.

“Duh. She’s just the cutest and its obvious she loves me more than you.” You smirked teasingly as you give Layla another big hug.

“That is so not true!!” He replied while sitting down on the blanket you were also sitting on.

You simply giggled and rolled your eyes, giving Layla just a little more attention. That is when you suddenly felt a soft kiss on your cheek.

“Sorry we’re late.” You heard Jake say as you were trying to get your heart under control.

However you giggled at that apology. “You two were not late at all, don’t worry.” You said as you turned to look at him, then returning said cheek kiss.

“In fact I just finished setting up when this lovely angel graced me with her presence! Isn’t that right Layla?? Mhm that’s right! Such a good girl!” You continued, only to have Layla’s sweet face distract you again.

“Yah! Are you on a date with me or my dog?” Jake whined.

To stop his whining you shoved a bread roll into his mouth. “Oh hush! I’m on a date with you of course, now enjoy my food!” You giggled, especially seeing his cheeks puff up as he chews on the bread roll. “Cutie.”

“Me or Layla?” He asks after he swallows.

“Both!”

“Yeah right.” With a roll of his eyes he gets payback by shoving a slice of cheese into your mouth.

“Hey!”

“See! It’s not nice huh?” Jake chuckled, pulling you into his lap.

“Hmph. Meanie.”

“Noooo that’s you.”

“Would a meanie do this?” You ask as you pull him into a very soft kiss.

Holding onto your waist softly, Jake returns the kiss, deepening it ever so slightly.

“Maybe.” He mumbles into the kiss with a fond smile.

“Mhm sure” You reply also with a smile.

You two stayed like that for a while. Getting lost in the feeling of your lips on each others.

As you deepened the kiss even more, his hand also starts rubbing your waist softly, you both suddenly get startled as Layla started barking.

“Seriously Layla?!” Jake groaned, turning to Layla who started feeling ignored, and now that she got both of your attentions started smiling her sweet smile again, tail wagging behind her.

You could only giggle at the two, so in love with both. Hoping to have many more dates like these in the future as you pop another slice of cheese into your mouth.
