ABOUT:

Axel remembers being told he looked just like his father and talked just like him too. Then he got older and heard that he acted just like his father and that was the biggest compliment in young Axel's eyes. He always idolized Hunter Cross, even if the man was in and out of jail for the majority of his life. Wherever Hunter went, Axel wanted to be there and he never grew bitter about his father's strict rules or demands. He listened to every one of them. At sixteen, Axel went to juvie for assault and battery and that was the start of the in and out jail routine that he's still on currently.

Even though he looks as if his father just hit copy and paste, Axel has equal parts of his mother's personality. He's realistic and scrappy, never backing down from the things he believes are right. Some would argue that the worst parts of his parents became Axel's entire personality. He has his mother's relentlessness, his father's temper and both of their stubbornness. It's even been known for Axel to turn his outbursts towards his brothers, especially if any of them even slightly talk negatively about their father.

He expressed interest in joining The Reapers while still in high school and was finally welcomed as a new recruit when he was eighteen, eventually earning membership when he was twenty. His relationship with Kristen Collins at this time, despite lasting throughout high school became rocky as Axel felt untouchable while taking on high risk jobs.

Last year, Axel was charged with assault in the 2nd degree with a firearm. It was his most serious and longest sentence yet, given a year to serve and he was released two months ago. Apparently, the victim only just survived the attack but has been left with lifelong injuries that hinder their ability to live the same life they once did. Axel hasn't thought about those consequences for a moment, not even while inside. He was more focused on the birth of his twins, a little girl named Harlow and the little boy named Jesse who arrived not long after he was locked up.

Now back in Center Hill, Axel is trying to bond with his infants while patching things up with Kristen but he doesn't want to make any promises about who he is or who he can be. He's always quite happily been his father's son.
