janda has ruined my perception of “nasty” and “codependent” ships because whatever they have going on has got to be at least 3.5 times worse than anything in modern television and cinema.

nasty? the shitting. the pissing. the vomiting. the absolute level of violence and sexual acts. the stench. the crassness and tactlessness of how they speak to everyone. there is no redeeming motives or qualities about them, and that’s absolutely on purpose. in fact, the whole point is that you SHOULDN’T sympathize with them.

codependent? a lot of ships have the “they are both failguys” aura and the “bestie x reluctant bestie who are attached like leeches” aura… but they very rarely have the raw mutual codependency. yknow, the type of obsession where either of their entire egos hinge upon being liked by this one Very Special Guy that Sat Next To Me One Day and Attached Onto Me, lest the whole word fall apart at the seams and I attempt self sabotage effective immediately.
