They’ve been asking you to overwork for the past few weeks and even though Jaehyeong asked you to set the limits and tell them you couldn’t overwork anymore in order to stay more healthy, you couldn’t say no to your bosses. Today when you got back home, Jaehyeong was home waiting for you to join him in a delicious dinner. But as soon as you run to his arms and tears start streaming down your face uncontrollably, he cannot focus on the food anymore. A/N: I'm officially coming back! Lot's of thing have been happening that kept me away from writing but fortunately I can say I will be able to slowly go back to writing. It’s been a tough day. Not only because your coworker keeps giving you more and more of her work because your bosses have been asking you to stay at work for longer or even extra days. At this point, with this tight schedule you haven’t been able to see Jaehyeong. You even almost forgot how his voice sounded like in real life or how his eyes shined everytime you appeared in his sight. And that made you feel even worse about the whole situation. He has told you plenty of times to set your limits so they cannot exploit you just because you do your work and other’s. But you’re not the type of person to say “no”. It’s like that word doesn’t exist in your vocabulary. Now unfortunately you have to pay the consequences of overworking. “Y/N, I’ll leave some documents I couldn’t finish on your desk, I’m going home.” The voice of your coworker broke the peaceful sound the coffee machine made while preparing your fourth coffee of the day. All you did was check the wall clock that hungged above your heads and nodded, not even looking at her. Once your coffee was ready, you had to go back to work. As soon as you entered your office, your phone screen lit up with a familiar notification sound. “I’m home! Hope you come soon, I’ll make some good food, remember our promise?” The message said. Only then you remember the little promise you made the night before. Jaehyeong was going to finish practice earlier than usual and promised you he would make you your favorite food as long as you finished earlier than usual as well. You felt overwhelmed for a moment. You wanted more than anything else that quality time with the man that owned your heart. And you only had to say “no”.

After a few more minutes of conversation a familiar voice knocks you out of your thoughts once again. “Can you stay a few more hours? Jiwoo’s work need to be finished today.” Your boss said. To be honest, you were tired. Tired of always wanting to go home but not being able to do so because Jiwoo didn’t finish her work. “I have plans.” You said without even thinking what you just said. “But…” Your boss tried to answer but you cut him off. “No buts. It’s Jiwoo’s work, not mine.” You said packing your stuff without looking up. “If it has to be finished today, she should have stayed like I do everyday.” You added getting off your seat and walking towards the door that separated your office from the rest of the building. “I’ll see you on Monday.” You said before leaving the place as your boss and other coworkers looked at you with a surprised gaze. Finally you could feel a huge weight getting off your shoulders.

The walk back home was cold. Hands and nose were freezing tho your ears were warm thanks to the headphones Jaehyeong gifted you a few weeks ago. And not only your ears were getting warm. Your heart was also finally starting to feel warm as you listened to “She’s in the rain”. It never fails to make you feel better whenever you listen to it. You finally got home and the strong smell of fresh homemade food filled your body with the feeling of home. And even more feelings appeared as soon as Jaehyeong’s smiling figure appeared leaning on the kitchen door frame. His smile was as bright as light, as sweet as chocolate, as beautiful as a rose and as warm as the sunshine. You couldn’t stop admiring his figure as you walked towards him, hoping to land between his arms and rest your head in the warmth of his chest, near his heart where you belong. His smile grew even wider when his arms wrapped around your small figure. Unfortunately that smile didn’t last long. You could feel the tears falling down your cheeks, getting dried by Jaehyeong’s soft pull over. You tried to stop the tears but you couldn’t. Finally all the stress you’ve been trying to hide was flowing out your body through those tears. “You don’t have to hide your emotions anymore, not in front of me.” Jaehyeong said, tightening his hold, making you hide your face back in the warmth of his heart. “Let it all out… You’ve held it for long enough and I’m here to listen to you.” He added with a low voice, stroking your hair trying to calm you down.

“I have an idea.” He said, a smile appearing back in his lips when you started to feel a bit better. “Let’s go.” He added, grabbing your hand and his guitar. You looked at him confused. “But the dinner…” You tried to say, pointing at the dining room table, full of food. “Food can wait, your health can’t”. He said taking you to the rooftop of your little apartment.

The sky looked beautiful when not much city lights ruined the light stars and the moon had. “How can you know me so well?” You asked Jaehyeong, a small smile threatening to appear in your lips as you still tried to dry some tears that were left running down your cheeks. “Because before dating you, I had to deal with your annoying ass as a best friend.” Jaehyeong joked as he removed the last tear from your cheek with a soft touch, gaining the laugh that was threatening to come out from your mouth. 

“Come on, I’ll let you choose the song for today.” He said once you both got warm and comfy in the small tent you had built for when you needed a stargazing session like the one you were about to start. You immediately suggested ‘she’s in the rain’ and as soon as you started to pronounce the title of the song Jaehyeong cut you off. “You always choose the same one! Can’t you just change for once?” He said playfully laughing. “If you don’t want me to choose then don’t ask me to do so!” You said laughing as well. After some discussion on which song he should play, finally you both agreed on him playing “See-saw”.

His voice was soft, low, not really putting much effort but still taking you to heaven, words flowing through his mouth so effortlessly which made you feel even more cozy. The moonlight hit the perfect spots to make his face features stand out. The silverish light hit perfectly his blond locks, creating an elegant silver hair illusion. You couldn’t focus on the sky. The galaxy his dark eyes held was more than enough that you couldn’t have more attention for something else apart from him. Only then you notice it was not the homemade food the one giving you the feeling of home. Actually it was the thought of him being there for you the one that made you feel home, because everywhere and anywhere would feel home as long as you were together. Once he finished singing, his slender fingers kept playing the guitar a bit more as you laid your head on his shoulder. The lack of light, his scent, the soft music his guitar was making mixed with the soft vibrations you felt because of him quietly humming to random melodies was lulling you into a deep sleep. A huge smile appeared on his lips when he noticed your almost asleep figure. “You look so beautiful like this. I’m so lucky you decided to say yes when I asked you out in such a shabby way.” He whispered, pretending to think you were fast asleep and couldn’t hear him. You couldn’t help smiling at his confession which made him act all surprised and disappointed because you heard what he said which made you laugh even more. “This is the girl I missed.” He said. His eyes held so much admiration and love whenever he looked at you. It’s always been that way. You guess Dojoon was right every time he said Jaehyeong would always look at you in a very different way. And it was true. You were the only person living on this earth and probably this galaxy that could see that look in his eyes. Full of love and so fond of you. “Promise you won’t overwork anymore.” He said once you both finished your little stargazing date. “We promised to have a happy life together, you can’t get sick already.” He added as you both entered the kitchen, a small tint of sadness in his expression. Seeing him like this broke your heart. “I promise, from now on no more extra hours.” You said with a small smile, offering him your pinky to seal the deal. But he preferred leaning a bit to close the distance between both of you and place a soft yet full of the love he had for you kiss on your cherry lips. “Let’s go, we have to hit up the food if we want to have dinner.” He said with a playful smirk, leaving you wanting more, just like he always loves to do.

🌹 The Rose Headcanons - Motionsick

Notes:

for this I am not going with my emetophobic Woosung headcanon because otherwise he really would have a problem

🤍 Woosung

Doesn’t really get carsick, at least not in cars

Put him on a tour bus/plane/train and he is taking antiemetics like candy, which help like half the time

Planes are the worst (Dojoon suspects it’s because he hates planes anyways and the claustrophobic feeling of not being able to escape gets to him)

Dojoon is probably right

Wouldn’t want to say anything because he’s embarrassed, so he hides until he can’t anymore

Has thrown up on Jaehyeong on the tour bus before which set off a chain reaction with Hajoon, who was, until then, fine (Jaehyeong hasn’t quite forgiven him the loss of his favorite jeans and now insists on keeping bags close)

Actually throwing up on members happens a lot because he’s super bad at telling them when he is about to puke - the kind to make a joke and stop in the middle of it to just hurl all over

Since it happens so often he is kinda nonchalant about it but wants his privacy

Accepts comfort from Jaehyeong begrudgingly 

Mostly tells Dojoon to fuck off because he really doesn’t want an audience but is soft for Hajoon when he gets worried about his hyung

“You okay, Sammy?”, Jaehyeong asked, seeing as the oldest was looking just a little too pale for comfort. The maknae was contemplating whether to already get out the plastic bag he had packed in his carry-on or wait. Though the last time he had made the mistake of waiting for too long. 

They were sitting in a plane to America, where they wanted to spend their vacation at least partly with Woosung’s family. They all were aware how much Woosung missed his mother when he was in Korea. Jaehyeong had the window seat to Woosung’s aisle while Hajoon and Dojoon were sitting in the row in front of them. In typical Hajoon-fashion the drummer had fallen asleep even before take-off.

“Hm? Yeah, I’m fine”, Woosung said with a grimace. Yeah, he sure looked fine. “You know I am not a fan of planes.”

“Whatever you say. Just don’t throw up on me - again”, Jaehyeong said.

“Did I hear the dreaded words?”, Dojoon asked and turned around to look Woosung up and down.

“Wow, you look terrible.”

“Fuck off, Leo”, Woosung mumbled. 

“Love you, too”, Dojoon replied and got up to come and stand beside them. 

“You know, you could just admit you’re feeling …”, he started. At that second Woosung leaned over and threw up - mostly on his own lap but some splattered onto Dojoon’s shoes. At once Jaehyeong shoved a bag under Woosung’s chin, preventing worse damage.

Dojoon looked down with a grimace and without sparing a thought to just how disgusting it was, he took off his shoes.

“I should have known better.”

For some reasons he’s the one the others end up needing comfort from when motion sick

Well, that, or they throw up on him

it takes a lot for him to feel nauseous due to motion - he probably already is sick or has a headache when that happens

will speak up if he doesn't feel good because he doesn't want to throw up on anybody (side-eye to Sammy)

Just don’t put him on a boat but even there he only gets nauseous but doesn’t puke

But the vertigo? Horrible

Barely able to keep standing, so he clutches the nearest member for dear life

He can’t even hide it - nearly got a concussion once from falling due to the dizziness

Please just let him stay laying down

Wants Woosung to stroke his hair and hold his hand to ground himself

An icepack to ground him helps though

“Everything is spinning”, Dojoon groaned, clutching Woosung for dear life, “why are we taking a ferry?”

“Because we can’t drive over the English channel and plane tickets are expensive”, Woosung explained and adjusted his grip on the keyboardist, “let’s lay you down, okay?”

“Please”, Dojoon whispered. They had been on the ferry for not even twenty minutes and Dojoon was regretting every decision that had him step on a boat. They were humans, not fish! 

“Well, fish would swim”, Hajoon said with a grin. Had he said that out loud? Urgh.

Slowly they made their way to the private cabin they had wisely booked. The idea of being on deck and breathing fresh air had not helped Dojoon at all. As soon as he was in the vicinity of a bunk Dojoon let himself flop down. It didn’t help the spinning or the dizziness or anything really. But at least there was no risk of falling if he was lying down - he already had nearly gotten a concussion on the way to England hadn’t Jaehyeong caught him in time. 

“I hate boats”, Dojoon groaned. 

“We can tell”, Woosung teased, but ran his hand through Dojoon’s hair. It helped ground him a little bit.

“We’ll go see if we can find an ice pack”, Jaehyeong said, tugging Hajoon with him.

Dojoon closed his eyes and prayed they were on land again soon.

🩵 Hajoon

Give him five minutes in a car or bus and he is done for 

Any drive longer than thirty minutes and they need bags - a lot of them

Gets used to the motion of the tour bus over time just the first two days suck and after that he’s okay until the next tour

Medication doesn’t really work for him? No matter what Woosung offers him, he throws up either way in the car

Has gotten an inner ear evaluation because of that but they found nothing wrong

Doesn’t even need to say anything about the nausea, everybody knows he is not feeling good

Also gets really sleepy

Needs somebody to comfort him because he feels so bad - doesn’t matter really who it is but gravitates towards his Dojoon-hyung

Doesn’t even sit in the front seat much because it doesn’t help and in the back he can at least get comforted by whoever sits next to him

Funnily enough has no issues on planes/boats/trains unless it’s really bad conditions, he just gets really tired

“The bags are in the glove compartment”, the manager told Woosung, who was sitting in the passenger seat. “Just give one to Hajoon-ah now, it will take a while until we’re there.”

Woosung did as asked, worriedly watching Hajoon place his head on Dojoon’s shoulder. His face was already very ashen. The drummer yawned widely, drowsiness kicking in.

“Are you sure you don’t want to try the medication?”, Woosung asked again.

“Hyung, no matter what you find, I always end up puking”, Hajoon grumbled, “just let me sleep. Or die in peace, I don’t care.”

“Maybe just try to sleep through it, Joon-ah”, Jaehyeong suggested. Hajoon nodded and closed his eyes. He was so tired.

It was only a few minutes later that Dojoon felt a tuck on his sleeve. 

“Hyung”, Hajoon whined, a hand pressed to his mouth. Dojoon sighed and helped the younger open the bag. Nearly at once Hajoon pitched forward and started to gag loudly. Dojoon cringed as the bag grew heavy in his hands and he felt so helpless watching his dongsaeng go through the violent nausea. Retch after retch tore through his throat and Hajoon nearly fell over, unable to hold himself up if it wasn’t for the seat belt.

Once Hajoon was done Dojoon tied the bag closed and handed it to Woosung who double bagged it and placed it in the foot rest of his passenger seat until they got off at a rest stop to dispose of it. Jaehyeong already had another bag at the ready.

“I’m sorry”, Hajoon mumbled and exhaustedly slumped against Dojoon’s shoulder again. The elder gently took his hand and squeezed.

“It’s not your fault, baby. Rest. You’ll feel better once we’re there.”

Motion sickness? What’s that?

Motion really doesn’t bother him at all - he can sit backwards for hours and wouldn’t care

Just please, don’t put him on those spinning things (tea cups, breakdancer you name it) at amusement parks - just don’t

Dojoon and him learned that the hard way 

One moment they were having fun, the next Dojoon was comforting a vomiting maknae while staff had to stop the children’s attraction

Rushed to Woosung for comfort once everything stopped spinning

Actually Woosung had already ignored all fences on his way to get to his maknae

Hated the public attention and now is very careful about amusement parks

But pouty about it because he loved it as a child and doesn’t understand why his body suddenly doesn’t like it anymore

“I am not getting on that”, Woosung said, shaking his head and arms crossed in front of his chest. “I’ll keep Hajoon-ah company.”

“Fine”, Jaehyeong pouted, “I’ll go with Dojoon-hyung then.”

“I don’t see why you would want to be spun around like that. I’m getting whiplash just from watching”, Hajoon commented, snacking on some fries. The drummer had yet to get on any attraction in the amusement park. 

“Maybe it’s best if you don’t do that”, Jaehyeong teased, “but I loved those things as a kid.”

“Well, come on then”, Dojoon grinned impatiently and the two rushed to the entrance of the spinning tea cups.

Dojoon was having the time of his life, spinning around like that, but he was soon stopped by a green Jaehyeong placing a hand on his as he tried to give their ride more spins. 

“Hyung…”, Jaehyeong whispered and before Dojoon had even had a chance to react, Jaehyeong was throwing up.

“Fuck”, he cursed and waved at one of the attendants. Already the ride was slowing down but Jaehyeong barely looked any better.  He leaned forward again, sicking splattering all over the seats. As soon as the ride had stopped, Dojoon managed to drag his dongsaeng off, apologizing to the attendants. He did feel bad for those who had to clean but his embarrassed and still very nauseous dongsaeng took priority. 

“Jeff”, a familiar voice called, sounding a mix of worried and confused. The next second Woosung had wrapped his arm around Jaehyeong, holding the maknae close. Jaehyeong immediately hid his face in Woosung’s shoulder, ignoring how much he had to lean down to do so.

“You can’t just climb over the fence”, an attendant called, rushing after Woosung and staring at him with a red face. Wosoung just tightened his hold on Jaehyeong and looked up at the man. “My dongsaeng is sick - watch me.” Then he turned around to lead the shocked maknae away while Dojoon apologized to the staff. They quickly waved him away - it was then that he realized he still had vomit all over his clothes. Urgh, great.

He quickly followed Woosung and Jaehyeong to the washroom, where Hajoon was already helping with getting Jaehyeong clean.

“Is this the right time to say ‘I told you so’?”, Hajoon asked cheekily when everybody was as clean as they could get.

Jaehyeong just pouted.

KUALA LUMPUR, 3rd January 2024 — Acclaimed South Korean indie rock quartet The Rose  is finally coming to Malaysia for their first appearance here in years!

Organised by Lo-Fi Entertainment, The Rose Dawn to Dusk Tour in Kuala Lumpur 2024 will  be rocking Mega Star Arena, KL on 31st January at 8.30 p.m.

Kuala Lumpur is among the very few Southeast Asian stops for the tour, which takes the band  to arenas and venues in cities across North America, Europe and Asia as they belt out a range  of hits for their fandom known as ‘Black Roses’. 

Members of The Rose – composed of vocalist and guitarist Kim Woosung, keyboardist and  vocalist Park Dojoon, drummer Lee Hajoon and bassist Lee Jaehyeong – met through the  busking scene in Seoul. 

The band, which is under their own label Windfall in partnership with Transparent Arts, is  known for their emotion-filled English and Korean songs such as Back to Me, Red, She’s in the Rain and debut single Sorry that propelled them to fame. 

Apart from being a collective, every member has also made waves in the industry as  individuals – Woosung is featured with the late Ryuichi Sakamoto on a track by Agust D, also known as Suga of BTS, and was cast as a voice actor in an Ali Wong-led animated series,  while Dojoon, Hajoon and Jaehyeong have made appearances in K-dramas and web series. 

Having played Lollapalooza in Chicago, Sweden, Brazil, Chile and Argentina, as well as  Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and BST Hyde Park in England, they have been named  Band of the Year at Brazil’s Prêmio Annual K4US in 2022. 

To date, The Rose has released two studio albums Heal and Dual, two EPs Void and Dawn,  one single album Red, along with numerous singles that made a mark on global top charts.

🌹💙 Angel (Hajoon Series Part 1)

Note: This is a bit different than what I have done before but I hope you enjoy! Remember, this is fiction and not meant to represent any of the real idols!

Summary: During a concert Hajoon suddenly starts feeling lonely and separated from his members.

I can picture heaven now

When I’m with you

Hajoon truly believed their lyrics „two is better than one”. He had felt better busking together with Jaehyeong than alone all those years ago. It felt nice to go to the gym with Woosung instead of alone. He enjoyed songwriting sessions with Dojoon, they were better together than on their own.

Just. Recently he felt like “three is better than four” would also fit the group. It wasn’t that he disliked any of his members, au contraire he loved them all very much and he was grateful for them everyday.

He didn’t even know how it had started, if he was honest. Well, it was the middle of the concert when he first noticed it. His drum kit was shoved to the back so much he wasn’t even sure the Black Roses in the front row could actually see him due to the height of the stage. Still, he watched how Woosung and Dojoon were dancing and hyping up the fans. Even Jaehyeong was walking up and down the stage with his bass, smiling at Black Roses.

Out of a sudden Hajoon felt alone, hidden behind his drums. When they first started performing as a band he had loved how they could cover him, shield him from curious and judging glances. Now they were moderately successful – Woosung, Dojoon and Jaehyeong not holding themselves back anymore and just vibing – but Hajoon was stuck. Even if he wanted to he couldn’t just get up and interact with their fans. He couldn’t join his brothers while they enjoyed themselves. Unbidden tears welt up in his eyes and he blinked hastily to clear his sight. Then he made a mistake.

It wasn’t very noticeable, just a bit off. He was sure some of the fans wouldn’t even have realized but for Woosung who started laughing and turned to look at him, winking. Hajoon knew his mindset was wrong, something had gone wrong, but sudden anger flared at the leader. Rationally he knew Woosung didn’t mean harm – he was all about showing how real they were, that the made mistakes, and also glad he wasn’t the only member making mistakes (though he was the one who fucked up often enough, forgetting lyrics or his voice cracking). None of them had ever been angry with Woosung about that, never about showing their real side. They had their fun teasing each other about stuff like that. They were all happy to show they made mistakes and weren’t infallible.

So Hajoon just bit his lip and focused on the music. The rest of the concert was a blur. He barely remembered throwing roses to the fans or packing up. It seemed like he had blinked and they were on their van back to their house.

Hajoon sat alone on the passenger seat, next to their manager who was driving them, the other members intruding each others spaces in the back. Hajoon felt strangely alienated from them, the three of them talking excitedly about the show and the reactions of Black Roses to them standing close to them. It wasn’t a conversation he could join even if he wanted to, again separated from his members. So, since he didn’t feel like talking to the manager, he just stared out front into the dark night.

Just an angel with a broken smile

On the ground

He had never been more glad for having a concert in Seoul. They would soon be home where he could hide in his own room. While normally he loved travelling, he just wanted to sleep and forget about the whole day. Of course his members had other plans.

“Hajoon, what do you want to eat? We’re getting take-out”, Jaehyeong said, leaning to the front to get closer to him.

“Uh, I’m not really hungry”, Hajoon said, not even lying. Somehow despite having not eaten since a few hours before the concert his stomach didn’t complain of hunger at all. Shower and bed was all he needed.

“Are you okay?”, Woosung asked suddenly and leaned forward too, “you seem a bit … I dunno? Spacey? You can’t tell me you aren’t hungry after performing for two hours. Besides, I noticed you made a few mistakes today.”

Hajoon took a deep breath and kept staring straight forward. He had kept making mistakes but Woosung hadn’t called him out after the first time – he wasn’t sure if he was just sick of the drummer making mistakes or worried for their reputation when people realized he wasn’t as good at drums as people thought.

Where had that thought come from?

Hajoon knew he was good, he had always been good at rhythms and keeping a beat. He had won three youth competitions years ago. He was good, he was a good drummer. Why had an off-day doubting his place in the band?

“Hajoon-ah?”, Woosung asked. Shit, he had been quiet for too long.

“Sorry, hyung”, Hajoon mumbled, “I just feel slightly carsick and have a bit of a headache.��

The manager tuned into the conversation: “Do I need to pull over?”

“No. I just wanna go home.”

“Think you are getting a migraine?”, Dojoon questioned worriedly. Hajoon just shrugged. He did have a headache but he doubted it would turn bad. He couldn’t fault Dojoon for the suspicion though. Concerts with flashing lights as well as driving did seem to trigger his migraines sometimes. And Hajoon always got easily nauseous even from normal headaches, so carsickness could be a result of that too.

“How about you take a shower when we’re home and I will make you a pack of ramen without flavouring. You can eat as much as you are up to and then go to bed”, Jaehyeong suggested.

“Thank you”, Hajoon whispered. The car turned quiet after that, the other members apparently not into conversation anymore or worried they would make his headache worse. Hajoon felt guilty. He hadn’t wanted to drag them down into his weird mood.

Together we’re one

Two’s better than one

It was around midnight when they arrived home, nearly at the same time with the delivery service that the others apparently had ordered. Hajoon was ushered inside by Dojoon who had wrapped an arm around his waist.

“Go shower, Joon-ah”, Jaehyeong said kindly, taking his jacket from him, “I will have the ramen ready for you. Do you need anything else?”

Hajoon shook his head, staring at his feet. He was embarrassed to make such a fuss when nothing really was wrong with him. But with his kind and worried members it seemed like it was the hill he would die on tonight.

“I’m not even hungry”, he said, desperate to not inconvenience Jaehyeong. The maknae had after all just performed and apparently was too exhausted to cook for them all but still wanted to help Hajoon. While it should make Hajoon feel loved and cared for he just felt numb and cold. When Jaehyeong didn’t look convinced, he added: “You don’t have to make me something.”

“How about this: If you find you are hungry after your shower you tell me and I will make you something, okay? If you want to go straight to bed after, do that. Whatever helps you feel better”, Jaehyeong replied. Hajoon felt like he might start to cry receiving so much kindness.

Knowing he couldn’t speak without revealing how close to tears he was, he just walked to the free bathroom. Dojoon was apparently already in the hyung’s bathroom upstairs as he saw Woosung on the couch on his phone as Hajoon passed by. Woosung didn’t look up.

Cynical daze

Forever you could be amazed

Standing under the hot shower barely helped. Hajoon wondered what had gotten into him today. He normally didn’t feel like this, so separate from his members. It had been Woosung, Dojoon, Hajoon and Jaehyeong for years. But now it felt more like Woosung, Dojoon and Jaehyeong and, oh yeah, right, and Hajoon. The drummer had no illusions about their very different levels of popularity with the fandom.

Woosung was well liked by everybody he met, a combination of his wits, charms and gorgeous features. Besides, he was the leader, he was the one who spoke with their international fans being the most fluent in English, and getting noticed more like that.

Dojoon was just a loveable goofball, the reason for most of their fun and often the mastermind behind their Tik-Toks. He was just effortlessly funny and he had an incredible stage presence.

Jaehyeong was their lovely and amazing maknae, with his cute smile and caretakers qualities. He was so outgoing, loved to interact with fans and who would dislike a maknae anyways?

But where did that leave Hajoon? Shy, sometimes a bit clueless, quiet, self-conscious Hajoon? The fourth members hidden behind his instrument, the one who couldn’t interact with Black Roses? The member who often was lost with their English conversations and opted to stand back and watch whenever something happened.

He couldn’t fault Black Roses for liking him least. He was just Hajoon at the back. There was no jealously in his mind, just sadness. If anybody had to be least liked it made sense it was him, he wouldn’t have it any other way. How would he feel knowing he was more popular than the amazing people he worked with? He understood why it didn’t bother the others this way. They were better than him. How would Hajoon even deal with popularity? He hated the spotlight. Yes, it was best like this.
