I know that award show performances this year have been a real disappointment but have there been any stages that you liked or found a certain part of it to be interesting or good?

yes!! hands down the best stage so far has been oneus' same scent from the kbs gayo!

perfect staging, perfect styling, just excellent all around. this would have been a top stage even if the stages around it hadn't been ass, but bc they were it really shows how good oneus are as performers.

i also liked aespa's stage from the sbs gayo! admittedly it is mostly bc illusion is my fave song of theirs, but also i thought their little it girl moment was fun. it was deeply amusing to put a dance break in and then not dance, 10/10.

other performances i liked were ateez's guerrilla at the kbs gayo, the intro was great and i forgive them for not doing more remixing/elabourate performance bc they literally just got back from touring. also kara's debut when i move stage at mama! actually their whole performance was great, but mnet splits their videos up and it annoys me. and dkz at mama too! we love to see a group unflop and that fact that they were even AT mama, much less performing is a literal kpop miracle, but they did a very good performance of uh heung, which i think was one of the few songs this year that actually felt like it was meant to be played in a stadium. kind of amusing that it was the flops that did a better performance in three minutes than many other groups could do in seven plus, but as the old adage goes: flops do it better for less!
