My random headcanons that just make enough sense to exist

John knows Latin since he's a lawyer

John often scratches his scars and wounds (it helps him steam, but it's also a selfharm)

John actually is a perfectionist (borderline obsessive), and if something doesn't look good enough, he can get really angry. Gonna explain this one: he loves preparations, makes sure all documents are neat and perfect, always looks all put together and good, washes off the blood as soon as he can (unlike some), gets annoyed when something goes wrong... it all can be observed in his cut-scenes. And it makes sense considering the way his parents raised him.

Once he does realise this, he is incredibly grateful, though he may not believe himself to be worthy of the things they do for him.

Oh yes, very easily. He still doesn’t think he deserves love from people, so when he is given it, he becomes very possessive of it, worrying that he could lose it. He doesn’t get angry at his partner when he is jealous, all his rage is directed towards whatever poor sap made him feel jealous.

Normally he’ll just go for a run/ spar with some of his chosen to get rid of the feelings, but if someone really pisses him off, he’ll happily take that aggression out on them, his family own plenty of land in Montana, lots of places to bury a body.

He is so stoic and emotionally flat most of the time, and when he is in love it’s no exception. He’s not one to share his feelings, especially at the beginning of the relationship when he doesn’t think they’ll be reciprocated.

He’s likely to help more, his love language is acts of service, if his partner/crush needs something done, it’s already done. He’ll help out with just about anything, and he’s pretty handy with most things.

Chances of anyone, even his siblings knowing that he is in love with someone is highly unlikely, if Jacob is in love you won’t know until he comes right out and says it.

Oh boy, John very much gets jealous, and he’s not afraid to show it. He’ll blow up at the slightest provocation, and he’ll yell at both his partner and whoever made him jealous as well. He’ll apologise later, but it won’t stop him from doing it again.

He loves his partner dearly, and won’t ever let anyone take them from him, and he tends to be driven to rage quite quickly when things start not going his way.

Woe be to anyone foolish enough to flirt with his partner, because John has a sadistic streak a mile long, and he’s more than willing to drag anyone foolish enough to make a move on his partner down into his gate for a very lengthy, very painful atonement.
