Before I show you the scam post, here is the real owners post where they say they already payed for the surgery by using rent. Of course the scammer just made up a fake copy/pasted story. Also the animal stolen from is a dog! It is not a cat. And the vet bill even says the real pets name if users would look closely. Only edit here was censoring the full name and group.

Proof of pet name below in screenshot of vet bill. Since the vet is public, I did not censor any of the information the name is just hid because I was focusing more on the pet name.

Also the PayPal address isn’t Florida.

Anyway that should be clear proof of the scam if anyone asks. Jacklyn Webb (JacklynWebb) is a scam PayPal impersonating the real owner of a cat.

I'm sorry, but I find it difficult to trust you. Your blog is only a day old, with all your posts (except for the pinned one) being reblogs that were made yesterday. The picture of the cat does not show a rash, while you said it was "nasty", and in your ask it says "cats" while there is only one cat in the post. The wording of this is just suspicious overall and obviously tries to play on the receiver's sympathy for the animal mentioned.

Oh, and if you copy-paste this message into Tumblr's search bar you find the exact same message being sent by multiple different accounts (you, @linescratches, @cornandsyrups, @orcylightning, @jackamazinglynnn, @amazing-jacklove, all of which I assume are either the same person or another scammer that has copy-pasted from the same thing.)

I've fallen for this same scam once before, I am not falling for it again. Please think twice before trying to take advantage of strangers on the internet for money.

No, I'm not answering this privately, as I feel more people need to be warned about this. In fact, everyone else feel free to reblog this ask as an example of this common scam that some newer users may not know about.
