A joke that would have been funnier if I made it in 2020 - back when we got our first glimpses of these characters. I’ve actually made my peace with Jack Carter’s design since then, it’s funny. 

I sketched this out right after the Wendy update, and then proceeded to procrastinate and fuss around with it for five years. I became lost in clip studio’s panel organizing system because I decided this was a good time to try making a “real” comic. kids, don’t be like me. You don’t need real gutters on your comic pages, you can just draw boxes and call it a day.

I’ll cut myself some slack, cause guess what else happened in 2020? Anyone remember? Yeah? A lot of stuff got waylaid.

I’m still proud of the facial expressions

plus I can draw my favs being all cutesy and that’s never a bad thing

anyway, it’s finally done. Happy Valentine’s Day!
