Kate's cut off by her fiancé.

"I'm fine, Kate. It was just a kick"

Y/N tells her fiancé in an exasperated tone.

Ever since Y/N told Kate she was pregnant, Kate had been more protective than usual. It was cute at first, but after a while Y/N got tired of Kate's eyes on her 24/7.

"I'm going to the bathroom, I will be back soon"

Y/N says as she kisses Kate's cheek and walks away.

"What did you do?"

Eleanor asks Kate as she walks up beside her.

"Maybe I was a bit too protective"

Kate mumbles as she watches her fiance walk away.

"The woman you love is eight months pregnant with your daughter, Kate. It's okay to be protective but maybe just take it down a notch" Eleanor said as her husband walked up to them.

As Jack was about to say something, Y/N yelled something.

"Kate!"

"Yeah, babe?"

Kate called back.

Y/N ran over to the group with a panicked look.

"My water broke"

she said quietly.

Kate's face turns excited and panicked.

"O-Oh! Ok, uh, we need the bag but that's at home and we don't have time-"

Kate rambles on before she is cut off by Eleanor.

"I will go get the bag. Jack can take you to the hospital and you can sit in the back with Y/N"

"okay, uh, thanks"

Kate helps her fiance in the car and sits beside her as Jacak starts the car.

"How're you feeling?"

Kate asks as Y/N holds her stomach.

"it hurts"

Y/N groans.

"I know, but when it's over we're gonna have a baby"

Kate grins as she wraps her arms around her fiance.

A few minutes later, they arrive at their destination and Kate helps Y/N out the car.

"Hey, my fiancé's having a baby!"

Kate called as she walked into the hospital with Y/N.

They take Y/N to a room and Kate sat next to her.

"Did you want to talk about names?"

Kate asked as she tried to distract her fiancé.

"Yeah, do you have any ideas?"

"Uh, how about Audrey?"

Kate says as she takes Y/N's hand.

"It's perfect. Audrey Inez Bishop"

Y/N smiles as Kate gives her a kiss.

Y/N holds their little girl in her arms as Kate sits beside her with her head on top of her fiancés.

"She's beautiful"

Kate mumbles.

"Do you want to hold her?"

Kate nods as she gently takes the baby out of her fiancés arms.

"Hi, I'm your mama. I'm gonna spoil you lots and I will teach you how to use a bow and arrow so you'll be the coolest kid in school"

Kate says in a baby voice as Y/N smiles and falls asleep on Kate's shoulder.

"Come in"

Kate whispers as she hears a knock on the door.

Eleanor and Jack walk into the room.

"Hi, what's her name?"

Eleanor asks as she walks closer to them.

"Audrey Inez Bishop"

Kate whispers as she looks at her daughter.

"That's a beautiful name"

Jack says as he takes a seat on the chair next to the bed.

"Can I hold her?"

Eleanor asks as Kate nods and gently hands the baby to her mother.

"She's the perfect mix of the both of you. She's got your eyes and Y/N's hair. She's perfect"

She tells her daughter as she looks at her granddaughter.

After a few minutes, Eleanor hands the baby to her husband.

A few hours after they leave, Kate hears another knock on the door.

"Come in"

She whispers.

Clint walks into the room with a smile on his face.

"Is this her?"

He asks, looking at the baby in Kate's arms.

"No Clint, I grabbed a random baby. Do you wanna hold her?"

Kate replies with her fiancés head still on her shoulder.

Clint nods and Kate gently puts the baby in Clint's arms.

"She's cute. What's her name?"

"Audrey Inez Bishop”

“Did Y/N pick the middle name?”

“Yeah, who else would name something after a Taylor Swift song?”

“How is she anyway?”

Clint asks as he looks at his protégés fiancé.

“Y/N? She’s tired but she’s so happy”

Kate says with a smile as she puts her head on top of her fiancés.

“And how are you?”

He asks, now looking at Kate.

“Me? I’m awesome. I’ve never been happier than I am now”

She replies as a yawn comes out of her mouth.

“I can look after her while you sleep. I won’t go anywhere, I promise”

“No, I’m good. I’m not that tired”

She replies as her eyes close and sleep overtakes her.

Clint chuckles and turns his attention back to the baby.

A half hour later, Y/N awakens and hears a man talking in a baby voice.

“Clint?”

She asks in a raspy voice and the man’s attention turns to her.

“Were you just talking baby talk to Audrey?”

She teases and notices her fiancé is asleep.

Clint looks away from her and hides his embarrassed face.

“I wish Kate was awake to hear that!”

She giggles out.

“It’s okay, Clint. She’s your goddaughter. You can talk in a baby voice to her whenever. Maybe stop before she turns eighteen though”

Kate’s raspy voice teases.

Clint sighs before ignoring them and looking back at the baby.

“How’re you feeling, babe?”

Kate asks, looking at her fiancé.

“Sore but I’m so happy, Katie. We have a family and there’s no one I would rather have one with”

Y/N says as she leans into Kate.

“I know, babe, me too”

“I have to go but I will visit when you take her home. The kids and Laura will come too. I would’ve brought them today but I thought it might’ve been a bit loud”

Clint hands Audrey back to Y/N before hugging the girls and going home.

Kate smiles at her fiancé and daughter and Y/N turns to look at her. Kate connects their lips in a loving kiss.

I think that romance at short notice is a little bit underrated by reviews, like I get it’s not as refined as other stuff Carl’s been involved with but like- those songs are just my friends and they keep me company in a way that other albums can’t do I guess. Idk, I guess the question im asking is what do you think if the album?

Hello! That album has two of my favourite DPT songs on it so I’m definitely a fan of it. I think it’s less tight than some of his other work - like the first DPT and the first Jacakals, but it’s got some incredible emotive songs that are among his best. I don’t think there’s a better DPT song than Truth Begins - that one means a lot to me - so I agree it’s a solid work. X

Yeah the part where Howard says he “knew” his audience wasn’t feeling Hillary is kinda hard to believe, considering she actually won NYC by a large amount, and won Nassau and Westchester as well. I get that he has a Bulldog Sally And Jack Skellington Halloween shirt and Trump did extremely well in some areas of the country, but I assume his main fan base is still the immediate NYC area of the 5 boros, Nassau, Westchester, and he would be way more likely to have interaction with people here than in middle america aside from a couple of callers.
