Les petits devants formant jabot s’enlèvent à volonté et peuvent être faits en dentelle, lingerie ou toute autre fantaisie.

Place the 6 pattern pieces on the fabric as shown in the sketch above, the notches at the waistline being in the straight grain of the fabric. The front no. 7 indicated in dotted line should only be cut as a lining, it will be hidden by the lace frill and the front no. 1. Pieces 2, 3 and 4 must be basted with the lining after front no. 7. Try on the bodice thus constructed, correct the fitting, then adjust piece no. 1. The notches of part nos. 1 and 7 must relate exactly to the shoulder and waist. Round the peplums on the person, slip on, iron and put on a false hem. Place the reverse (no. 6). The dotted line on the reverse must be placed at the edge of front no. 1 and finish very thin at the waist.

The small fronts forming a jabot can be removed at will and can be made of lace, lingerie or any other fantasy.

Elliott Scottish Festival Regalia mod is now up and ready to play!

This mod changes Elliott’s festival sprites to incorporate traditional Scottish regalia for 4 of 8 festivals. (Flower Dance, Moonlight Jellies, Stardew Valley Fair, and Feast of the Winter Star.)

Elliott’s festival regalia includes: - Prince Charlie jacket and waistcoat (depending on the festival) - Collared shirt, jabot, and pin (or Jacobite Ghille Shirt) - Dress sporran and sporran strap (frontal pouch made of seal skin), - Sgian-dubh (small knife kept in the sock) - Kilt hose and flashes (socks and sock tassels) - Kilt (+ pin), - Brogues (lace-up shoes), and - Fly plaid (a long strip of plaid matching the kilt pattern, worn over the shoulder and fastened with a brooch)(depending on festival). After marriage, Elliott will wear various Tartan-patterned pyjamas around the farm and farmhouse from 6 AM to 7:30 AM and from 8:30 PM to 2:00 AM. He will change out of his pyjamas if he leaves the farm or if the farmer leaves the map and comes back after 7:30 AM.

Scottish Tartan patterns are open to anyone regardless of their family, clan, or registry origin, but I wanted to pick patterns that would mean something personal and significant to Elliott as a character.

You're so right I expected more shallow HCs lol. I'm shocked but it's obvious then i guess.

I only have a few, but I'll TMI my fav brooches.

One's a red round thingy with a golden frame, two feathers coming out of it, and a red little bow underneath all that. Meant for jabots but also the jabot it was assorted with broke. But can it really rival with THOSE FEW GOLDEN ONES I INHERITED FROM FAMILY ? I doubt it.,, One is a little golden rose pin (you can slide right on rather than pierce the clothing with).

Selfshiptober Day 14: date / vampire

Tonight was a different kind of night. Aza was invited to a party by someone he met at work a few days ago.

Not much was mentioned other than the location, and that it was "Vampire themed."

Seeing how Phoenix seemed to enjoy their last Halloween themed date, he thought that it might be a good idea to come to the party as a throuple, making this a surprise date for both partners.

And here they were now, outside of the building at the location previously given to him.

Aza stood in between of their partners. Dressed in a black long sleeved blouse, red vest and black lacey jabot.

Phoenix, standing to their left, was in a recently bought outfit just for this occasion.

A black dress shirt with sleeves that puffed out near the wrists, high waisted black slacks, a waist corset, and some silver jewelry hanging loosely around their neck.

Thimble, standing to Aza's right, was wearing a black outfit that verged to a more punk-like style. The tips of a pair of faux vampire fangs could be shown sticking out over their bottom lip.

Holding each of his partners' hands, Aza led the 2 of them through the door, after double checking the address displayed on his phone.

It seemed like a pretty basic home. Nothing out of the ordinary. But once they were inside.....

Immediately the soft sounds of music could be heard from a separate room nearby. Dim ambient lighting shone throughout the interior of the house. Decor that had a mix of a Victorian goth and generic vampire vibe was displayed through the home.

A few people could be seen walking in between the rooms. Some in elaborate goth-like dresses, some wearing outfits with fake blood dotting their shirts.

The throuple managed to find their way to a living room, seemingly having had furniture moved around just for the event. A big table sat in the middle of the room with food and drinks.

Cups of red punch with fake (gummy?) fangs floating on top. Dark red rose shaped frosted cupcakes, filled with jam. Red velvet cheesecake. Even what looked to be a black colored fudge in a pan.

Basically anything that could be black and/or red, was there. It seemed to be the host's attempt to match the house's dark decor.

The throuple spent the next few minutes trying food and drinks, making small talk with other party goers, and walking around the house.

In one room, there were some games. Much of them seeming to have been bought for cheap, judging by the quality, but in a nostalgic kind of way. For example, Phoenix would later mention how it made them remember of some of the party games they played with some of their friends from their childhood.

The throuple would end up playing a few of these games. Taking pleasure in the small vampire themed prizes.

Random pins that had sayings or jokes related to vampires on them, fake vampire fangs, and more. All displayed in small coffin shaped boxes.

The little details delighted Phoenix in a way. They ended up making it a personal game, to see what kind of little vampire inspired details they could find throughout the rest of the night.

Making their way back to the living room, seemingly being the place where the music was coming from, and danced. A bit awkward to be honest, as there wasn't much room to properly dance. It did make the throuple chuckle a bit though.

It was a bit awkward, but fun nonetheless.

At some point during the night, Phoenix would pull Aza aside. Kissing them before thanking them for the fun night.

It seemed to relax Aza a bit. He originally wasn't sure how his partners felt about tonight. But seeing Phoenix's reaction in that moment? It seemed to melt away any worry he may have once had.

The throuple would spend the remainder of the night indulging themselves in more food and drinks, trying to win each other prizes from some of the games, and watching other party goers, pointing out to each other what piece of people's outfits they liked the most.

It seemed to be..... Maybe a bit more low-key or a bit more casual than some other dates or parties they went to together. But the throuple had fun nonetheless.

It was a nice change of pace from their otherwise busy days. Why would they ask for anything different?

They were also all together. And that's all that ever mattered.

 RAMBLING UNDER CUT CAUSE IT GETS LONG LOL:

Hands yall the pencil sketch I did of James first, would probably inked it but I’m still proud of it (Shane and Rusty I did on the same page so they’re smushed together and it’s messy ahah)

James gave me the most difficulty cause I knew I wanted to be make him Latino(Filipino/Spaniard to be exact) so I searched up bull fighting clothing and I gave him the gilet-vest underneath his big coat of his cause he’s copying Gordon (to the point of absolutely antagonizing, blaming and arguing with Alfred for everything he has done though to be fair he did traumatize Thomas kidnap his sister figure Nia and almost broke Gordon but like the Rusty scenario that’s another can of worms to get to later) but also cause I’m on the whole him idolizing and copying him around bandwagon so things like similar coat patterns, his keychains, jabot/cravat,epaulettes,beret-like hat etc) and of course I had to make him eye-catching like he wasn’t you attention so lot of gold accents and of course roses (get it cause with his surname) with him having one on his coat and on his cuff pins and rings 🌹 for symbolism 

Rusty was actually the easiest cause I already had a design for them cause I already wanted them to wear a tool belt and hardhat for their job , overalls and the protection knee pads I actually got from glowynviator on Twitter, same goes with having those (forgive I don’t know exactly what to call them) circles that appear to release smoke from their radiator as little silver buttons on their collars and pockets for their jackets and I changed the color scheme to for both the tv and rws versions. They’re pretty much unwillingly involved with the supernatural shenanigans (though then again a lot of folks are here but considering when they first got here, they legit witnessed their coworker get nearly crushed to death, the treatment of Duncan, the Sudrian verison of Bigfoot, a possible immortal fallen king 👑 fogman and of course the Boulder, they can’t seem catch a break)

Shane Dooiney I was completely inspired by gloynviator by Twitter humanizations of the Culdee Fell Railway (seriously y’all go check them out they’re awesome 🤩 and amazing and just incredible 💕💞) but with some minor changes like more detective-esque, think Looker from Pokemon or Inspector Gadget/Zenigata cause I love them so much but also a chunk of their personality is from Crona cause I love the hairstyle . Their personality I based it off of The Trainz Adventures, he’s said to be shy cause of people constantly mock their name which leads to him keeping to himself but ain’t afraid to help others, LeatherBootlace and StarSearch1927 on Deviantart (where he feels out of place for being away for so long, suffers from Middle Child syndrome/the Black Sheep of the Railwa due to being away fro overhauled a majority of the time during important events of the series so they feel out of the loop, the latter being the main inspiration for the ““private investigator” persona they have since he has a eagle eye for everything and thinks of crime solving and a love for mysteries while former used he/they pronouns for Shane and we need more he/thems here ✨) of course the top hat 🎩 is their funnel.

Lilac - Does your OC have a comfort item? If so, what is it?

Idris hardly goes anywhere without their last piece of mourning jewelry. It's a little locket-brooch (or swivel brooch, depending on artistic license) they keep pinned to their jabot, or their tie, or sometimes looped on a silver chain around their neck. On one side is a little portrait of their daughter at about six years of age. On the other side is a lock of her light brown hair. Here's a historical example. It's the slightest bit odd for a comfort item, but it reminds them of happier times.

Dandelion - Does your OC get overwhelmed easily?

It's complicated. They prefer to keep busy, but they can hardly stand loud noises or overlapping voices for long. Or when there are too many smells at the same time. They can handle having overlapping deadlines on various projects they're working on, but heavens forbid they have to attend a salon. Academia they can withstand, but if you ask them to be social for more than a half hour they're going to retire early.

Overall and Individual Thoughts on the Hirogaru Sky PreCures

Sorry this is so late! I was scrolling through a lot of posts and then I got a sinus headache and didn’t feel like writing for a while.

Overall

They all have that pin of the star and wings from the logo on their chests, but with different color variations! I love them! Of course Sky’s is the one from the logo but with blue wings.

There’s barely any uniform to their designs which is always kind of a minus to me, but I still really like most of these designs.

Wing’s the only one without a bow on her waist or ombré hair.

Sky and Prism have matching earrings, and for the most part, the same color scheme, but with the colors distributed differently.

I love that we brought back the ombré hair!!! I think it fits really well with a season about the sky since it could reference the ombré-like colors of the sunrise and sunset!

I’m honestly so happy the other girls’ names weren’t Sunflower and Stream. They didn’t really fit with the season’s theme.

I’m assuming Eru-chan will be the purple mid-season cure. And we haven’t had a French name yet, so I’m guessing her name will be French.

All discussion of “the leader not being pink/having a white and orange Cure” aside, this is like the first time since Mahoutsukai that there’s no yellow Cure

Cure Sky

Having a blue main cure for a sky-themed season when blue is usually the second PreCure to appear was a great idea.

I do wish the cape was on both shoulders. Not sure why it needed to be on one shoulder but I think it’s bc the person who designed the Star Twinkle cures designed these girls [no it’s not] (I’ll reference this again later).

She’s the first lead Cure since Whip to not have a flower on her head. Weird pattern we kept going for like 5 years but whatever.

Cure Yell bangs

The cape being dark blue actually reminds me of LaMer’s tail-thing. And they both have blue-pink ombré hair!

Cure Prism

I wonder if with this name she’s gonna have a triangle motif like Cosmo or if she’ll have rainbow attacks.

The heart in her hair and the wings on her bow are from the logo too! But it’s interesting how I thought they went together, but the side perspective reveals they’re separate.

I honestly didn’t even notice she had an ombré at first. But I like it, it’s like a pink sunrise.

I LOVE the hidden part of her dress that’s like a midnight blue with a night star and rainbow. Maybe that’ll play into her transformation, attack or even storyline? Like she has a hidden, potentially darker side of herself?

Her jabot is literally a trans flag with the colors switched around

She’s giving me princess vibes, honestly. Her dress and gloves look very elegant.

I think she might actually have my favorite design now.

Cure Wing

The combination of colors from her wing-skirt-thing and the inside of it feel like something that could’ve worked with Tropical Rouge.

I wonder if she’s meant to be modeled after a specific bird like a phoenix or parrot or if they just decided to make a bird cure and make her orange?

I’m not really digging the Mint-esque “one long strand of hair” thing but whatever. I just wish we had more Cures with just… short hair. I wanna snip that strand off.

There’s a little too much going on with her skirt for me. Or skirts. But I like that she has a belt.

Her arms are confusing the fuck out of me… are the sleeves clear at the shoulders and fade into pink? Or are her sleeves somehow FADING ONTO HER SKIN?

I like the lil butterflies on the backs of her shoes.

Yeah overall I like her outfit the least but I still like it more than Delicious Party’s outfits.
