Main Story Summary: The members of Jabberwock, struggling to stay out of the red, head to a mission at the 'Father Farm' in order to make some cash! The farm has a labour shortage following each of its staff members quitting in succession. Furthermore, every retiree mentions the existence of a strange 'cat'. Even Ren, who usually hates troublesome work, agrees to go along, assuming it'll be easier than taking care of the anomalous animals. However... 'Father Farm' is a parody of a real life amusement park thing called 'Mother Park'. You get to do fun farm things like sheep shearing, racing pigs, a duckling procession, etc.

Haru Sheep Blurb: The bright and cheerful voice of the announcer echos across the park, attracting visitors towards it. The MC is in charge of the capybara, Towa in charge of the sheep, and Ren in charge of the ducks! But their peaceful time quickly disappears as the fence containing the ducks breaks, leading to them escape....?!

Haru On Knees Blurb: At the farm, the temporary staff's main tasks obviously include taking care of the animals, but they also include helping to organise the events and shows! Due to that, the uniforms are cute work clothes that take after various animals. I honestly can't tell if their animal characteristics are fake or not… maybe they're anomalous? Shrugs.

Haru - Love at First Sight

Haru is a very busy man. He’s always on the go, rarely ever thinking about romance because he’s got thirty-thousand other things on his mind. One day, all these things weighing on him distracted him enough that Peekaboo managed to get out of his pen, wandering off out the back door that Ren had left open again. When he realized Peekaboo was missing he almost lost it, flying into a full panic and racing out the door. He found him playing with you in a large clearing in Jabberwock, you sitting on the ground picking wildflowers and handing them to Peekaboo, who’d sort them into piles based on their color. He was so relieved he came to a dead stop on the spot, a horrid crunch coming from one of his ankles from the sudden force of his momentum. He fell over, wincing softly, and you quickly moved over toward him, asking if he was ok. When he looked up at you, his breath caught in his throat. The sun was behind you, framing you and lighting up your loose hairs like they were glowing, and you wore a soft, concerned look on your face, which as far as he was concerned may well have been the prettiest face he’d ever seen.

“I, um, I’ll be fine, it, it happens! Thank you for watching my baby, I can’t believe I let him escape… whaddya say I, uh, treat you to dinner tonight as a thank-you?”

Towa - Soulmates

Towa has always loved the idea of soulmates. Towa loves love, period. Unfortunately, his love and devotion to Haru get in the way of him finding his own soulmate. At least, until you come into his life. He thinks you’re perfect: you understand him better than anyone ever has before, you’ve got an uncanny way of keeping his rapid mood swings at bay, and soon, he listens to you and does things for you unlike he will for anyone but Haru. The two of you can often even communicate without words, you adapting to his nonverbal tendencies so well you sometimes adopt them when you’re around him. You’re a bit free-spirited, but grounded enough that his wild, free spirit is calmed around you. Even if you don’t believe in soulmates, Towa does, and he’s certain that you’re his and won’t hesitate to let you know that on a regular basis. He regularly comes to you with R&R permits asking you to go off campus with him.

Ren - Roommates

All things considered, Ren is a good roommate. He doesn’t really help clean, but he also doesn’t spend much time outside his room to make much of a mess in the first place. He minds his own business, he never makes much noise, and sometimes, you can convince him to play video games with you. Ren loves video games. Sometimes, Ren loves video games more than he cares about his personal space, at least considering you’re also laid-back and mind his boundaries, so every once in a while he’ll even invite you into his room to play something with him, or watch game playthrough videos. One day, he does something you wouldn’t have ever expected of him, inviting you to watch a movie with him. You agree and go make popcorn, only to realize he’d meant in his room rather than the living room. You end up sitting up at his headboard together rather than perched on the end of his bed like you usually do when you’re in there. This becomes more frequent, the space between your shoulders decreasing little by little each time, until the night you fall asleep on his shoulder. He gets flustered, not even realizing you’re asleep at first, but he can’t deny that it’s a nice feeling to have you cuddled up next to him like that.

“So, uh. There’s a new movie that came out a couple weeks ago and it’s available to rent now, do you maybe wanna watch it tonight? I know you don’t love horror stuff, but…”

your last moments together You never minded helping Haru. Unlike the other captains in Darkwick he didn't demand your help, and he was always grateful. But there were some tasks you enjoyed more than other. Some were easier, some were harder, but you still helped Haru when you could. One of your favorite tasks was watching over Peekaboo. The small ball of fur couldn't go everywhere with Haru, and more often than not Haru would only trust his beloved companion with you while he worked. "You sure are fond of [name], aren't you, Peekaboo?" Haru laughed out as he trudged in the front doors of his dorm. Spotting the two of you cuddled up on the couch he smiled. A enthusiastic 'Boo!' came from Peekaboo as the small created snuggled closer into your side. "You did nothing but bite me for the first three days after we met," Haru pouted as he took the seat next to you, throwing a friendly arm over your shoulder as he settled in next to you. "I'm sure Peekaboo can be this friendly because he learned to trusts you," you said in comfort to your friend, "I'm sure he loves you the most," you laughed as Peekaboo crawled over to Haru and in turn snuggled into him. It was moments like this you hoped you got to keep. Even if you turned into an anomaly, even if you'd never be yourself again. You wanted to keep special memories like these with you no matter what.

after its all over

"Come on Peekaboo," Haru tried to coax, "You need to eat soemthing. You know [name] wouldn't want this...." There was a defiant 'Boo!" in response to his pleadings, and the mention of your name. Ever since you disappeared, ever since the incident, Peekaboo was been going through it. Not eating, moving much, and often Haru found him with tears in his eyes. Haru gets it, he understands how Peekaboo feels. But Haru also understands that the world keeps turning, there were still things to do, and creatures that relied on him. So even though he understood how Peekaboo felt he needed to stay focused. "Please Peekaboo..." Haru begged as he gently lifted Peekaboo from his spot in the corner of his crib. Somewhere he often buried himself in order to hide his tears. Met with a teary eyed Peekaboo, Haru felt his emotions well over. The days of pretending he was fine were slowly getting to him. Pulling Peekaboo to his chest, he felt his own eyes tear up. Holding Peekaboo he wondered how you could forgive him. He told you that he and the others would save you. That things would go back to the way they used to be for you. But here he was, alive and well, and you were nowhere to be found. Somewhere far away in his most cherished memories.

your last moments together When Towa got into one of his moods, Haru found it was getting harder and harder to deal with him. That's where you came in. Surprisingly, Towa was receptive to you. He took in the things you said, and you could often lift his mood with ease. "Towa," you almost whined as you patted the boys locks of lilac hair. You were currently sat under the tree, Towa buried his face into your stomach as his arms wound themselves tightly around you. "What happened this time?" you hummed as you ran your hands through his hair in a comforting fashion. "I wish that wolfsbane would go away," He muttered into your shirt in a huff, and you had to hold back a laugh. Having seen how much Towa dislikes Ren, you weren't surprised in the least by his answer. "Don't say that," you hummed and Towa only whined, "Ren isn't that bad."

"He is though!"

There was no arguing with Towa, and you understood that. But vaguely you wondered how things were be when you were gone.

Haru was sure that the animals were going to drown. The area of Jabberwock has been subjected to severe rains ever since Towa went into his 'mood'. He didn't know where Towa was, he had been hidden away for who knows how long. Hidden away in the one place the two of you spent your time together. The tree on the hill was a place the two of you frequented together in the middle of the night, usually upon Towa's insistence. But suddenly, Towa realized that he took everything about you for granted. He had always hated weak things, but for some reason you were an exception. Towa loved love. It was something that made him change his ways, one of the things he swears he felt when he was with you. He wanted love more than anything, and he believed that as long as he had you, he had it. He believed that as long as you were by his side he'd have everything he ever wanted. Now you were gone, and there was no one to truly show him what it felt like to be loved.

Your last moments together "Wow you really do suck as this," Ren said with a shit eating grin. Putting down the gaming controller in your hands you sighed, "Ren you could have let me win at least one round!" "And why would i do that?" This is the real world, he said following in your lead and laying down on his bed. His eyes trained to his window, "When did it get so late? That was horrifyingly fast...." Looking out the window you frowned. You had always hated the dark, even though you found yourself i it more than you liked. Getting off form helping the guys was always a pain, but one you had to tough out in order to get back to your dorm. The dark also reminded you of that thing, the thing that called itself 'mine' The close and closer the due date got, the more and more you saw it in your everyday life. Whether it be your own reflection, or in the shadows that followed you. 'It' seemed to be everywhere. "I'll walk part of the way back with you," Ren cut through your thoughts, sliding his uniform blazer on, "i was going to buy something to drink anyway...." And you smiled, knowing it was the small acts of kindness from him that you'd miss.

Ren was sure you were haunting him. He saw you everywhere he went, in his games, dreams, and even in the halls of Darkwick. He swore your perfume scent clung to his jacket from that one time you hugged him, he also swears that the avatar he let you make on one of his accounts was left logged in on purpose. It was annoying, your memory annoyed him. The way he silently cried in his dorm annoyed him. The way he missed you annoyed him. Turning over he smooshed his face into his pillow to hide the small hiccups that came form him. Trying to hide his sadness, trying to tell himself that he didn't miss you. So why did you make it so hard? Why did you have to leave traces of yourself everywhere in his life? Why did you have to leave him?
