My Amazon: still waiting.....
BLURB SPENCER: When I woke to my phone ringing just after 5 am on a Sunday—my only day off—it was safe to say I wasn’t impressed. I answered the call with an abrupt, “What!” The audible gasp and berating that followed had me grumbling, “Someone better be dead, Mother.” “After the relationship status you were tagged in on Facebook, no less, I very well could be,” was her reply. Relationship status? With who? I immediately clicked on the app, only to find it was true. Delilah St. James had one of those faces that was hard to forget, and I knew I’d never laid eyes on this pretty blonde with beautiful blue eyes before. I could’ve let my assistant, PR company, or my lawyer deal with it, but against my better judgement, I clicked on the Messenger app. “Do I know you?” I typed. DELILAH: When my sister decided to post photos of her—on what was supposed to be my honeymoon—with my ex-fiancé on social media, I did something reckless and impulsive. I tagged her long-time crush, Spencer Prescott, in a fake relationship post. The last thing I expected was for him to reach out. I apologised profusely and told him I’d take it down immediately, briefly explaining why I had done it, and he replied with something unexpected. “Leave it up. What can it hurt?” Minutes later, I got a friend request from his mother … immediately inviting me to brunch. I only agreed to go, so I could tell her the truth to her face. What happened next was a domino effect that would change the course of all our lives. 💀 * [ ella purnell + demi female + she/her ] —— have you met judith ‘jude’ loski? they are a twenty-one year old junior currently studying fine arts. they live on farrow house, and word around campus is that this capricorn is creative + magnetic, as well as contradictory + morbid. i wonder if they’ll make it out alive. a skull pattern stained onto fine china, flowers plucked too soon, red wine staining the seam of your lips. [ ooc: pepper. twenty four. she/her & est. ]
ABOUT THE MUN. hey baby, hey baby, hey baby, hey baby, here’s twenty dollars!
hello it is pepper again with my second muse because i have no self control. depending on whether or not i can handle this amount of muses i might drop one but for now i am hype!! i have had jude living rent free in my head for like ??? a year at least, and this is the first time i’ve gotten to play her so i’m living large! the entire inspiration behind her is inspired by my creative writing teacher in uni so this is a shout out to you jen i love you!! okay that is all.
BIO. kidnapping tw, death tw, child neglect tw. holiday candles that smell just like your years as a feral child in the forest!
i was gonna write a nice sexy bio but honestly my brain is offline rn so i don’t think that’s gonna happen, instead, welcome to these sexy bullet points.
judith evianna loski was born approximately two minutes prior to her twin sister juliette elenora loski during a frightful blizzard in londan, england. while judith popped out of her mother kicking and screaming bloody murder from day one, moment one, juliette was a docile baby. she was so sweet and quiet that the doctor’s had to check her breathing more than once. while, of course jude made her presence, and her posession of a working set of lungs and killer set of vocal chords, known to everyone within a ten kilometre radius. let’s just say the loskis knew the difference between their daughters instantly.
which was fine. jude and julie liked being different anyways. where jude was colour coded green, julie was colour coded blue. while julie was always thrilled at the prospect of a new dress or doll, jude was known for covering such gifts in mud or paint until they were utterly recognizable or suitably ruined. where julie was sweet, and quiet, and shy, jude could fill a room with just her presence, could make a friend in a sea of strangers. the fact was, jude always had what julie lacked, and for the most part vice versa. they fit together like two puzzle pieces, and they complimented each other perfectly. and despite their differences, both their parents adored them unconditionally, and equally for the first six years of their lives.
which of course meant the girls were spoiled rotten. how could they not be? damon loski was an english gentleman coming from very old, very lucrative oil money. he ran his business like a hobby and yet the loskis still had more than enough money to buy an island or two, especially considering annette’s status. annette loski was a french photographer, and a talented one at that. her work was desperately sought after and world renowned for it’s beauty, and so in her own right, annette was more than well off. and thus, the twins were more than well off, and even if they couldn’t quite understand the concept of that yet, they definitely understood that they could have whatever they wanted just by asking for it. they understood that wherever they went they were to be accompanied by a nice man or woman who was supposed to keep them safe. and they understood that because of mummy and daddy’s jobs they weren’t allowed to play like the other kids did. but as young as jude and julie were they never truly understood why.
that was until three weeks after the girl’s sixth birthday. jude remembers the whole thing like it was yesterday. it was snowing that day and it was that thick puffy snow that made everything seem quiet, the kind that made it hard to see too far ahead on the path you were trekking. the loski twins had taken advantage of the weather to slip between the fingers of their caretaker for the first time and go to the local park. their escape with thrilling, a game of espionage turned reality and the two girls basked in their victory as they made snow angels and twirled and twirled in the snow. that was the day jude had set out to swing higher than she ever had before and demanded that julie watch. and her sweet sister, as submissive as she was, had never quite learned how to say no to jude. so while jude swung and swung and swung, julie stood and watched her from across the park by herself, eyes wide and innocent as she warmed up her numb fingers with her breath. until she wasn’t. alone that is. jude remembers spotting the woman approaching julie. she remember seeing them talking. she remembers the warm clouds her own breath made, almost in sync with the breaths huffing past her sisters lips, foggy up the air before her eyes and obscuring her view. she remembers julie taking the woman’s hand. she remembers the two of them moving to leave the park. and she will never forget that heart stopping moment of quiet, of confusion and fear as her swing slowly came to a stop. she remembers losing julie in the blur of the snow that day.
eventually the police found jude huddled under a tree a block away, still calling her sister’s name into that eerily quiet snow storm, blue lipped and half frozen to death as she shook like a leaf. jude came out of that experience with phemonia. julie didn’t come out of that experience at all.
well, in all honesty there was no way for the loski’s to know that. after all, they never saw julie again. for all jude knew, her sister could be alive and well, living a new happy life where she had no memory of having a sister. where she had a family that was whole for no reason other than she doesn’t remember it falling apart, and where she loved and was loved in return. it was always so easy to love julie. so honestly, it was entirely possible.
jude would like to believe that was true. even if in that scenario it would undoubtedly mean that jude got the short end of the stick.
you see, after julie’s kidnapping anette and damon’s marriage fell to pieces over the years. the trauma of losing a child can do that to you, you know. during that time, as her parents bond splintered apart at the seams, jude remembers hearing her grandmother tell her mother to keep it together for jude. to stick out out for the child she had left.
her mother left them both in the middle of the night without warning less than a week later. so, jude supposes she wasn’t quite enough to hold things together.
jude might have been comforted by the fact that she still had her father if he could even look her in the eye. the fact was, jude looked exactly like julie and julie and jude were always both told they were dead ringers for their mother. jude was a physical reminder of literally everything her father had lost, and he didn’t take that quite well. suddenly damon’s hobby of a job became his life. anything to not be home with his ghost of a daughter.
now the doom and gloom of all this might make it seem like jude took all this trauma and just got really down in the dumps about it. that would be incorrect. jude took that trauma, buried it very deep and only ever used it to fuel her art but otherwise completely ignored it altogether. there’s a difference. one option requires years of therapy and the other can be dealt with pretty easily with years of denial, even if you’re forced to go to therapy anyways because your twin sister was kidnapped in front of you and that kind of thing generally gets you a ticket to therapy for life. very different.
jude isn’t sure if it was that trauma, her parents name, the fact that the news of her sister’s kidnapping was pretty spread all over europe for about a month, or even unlikely enough her talent that launched her art career, but something did. maybe it was a combination of everything. but either way, jude loski was able to find herself with her own small art gallery opening at the tender age of thirteen. and her success in the art world only grew from their, her art galleries and portfolio growing and growing until the point that jude was able to find herself with a place at holloway. and considering there wasn’t much left for her in england anyways, considering her father barely spoke to her and her mother was gone like the wind, jude decided to go.
and that’s all i got for now, and also i’m tired but if you want to plot give this a like and i will slide into your dms.
HEADCANNONS. *aggressively makes tea*
here is her pinterest board.
do not call her judy,
hates her birthday and hates snow storms understandably. is a big fan of rain though. particularly enjoys thunder storms.
is allergic to bees but is super chill about it. had an allergic reaction when she was fourteen that her dad was too busy on a business call to notice was happening. the nanny ended up being the one to stab her with the epipen.
has pretty bad nightmares and night terrors sometimes and hence generally likes to sleep when the sun is out if she sleeps at all. because of that she tends to seem pretty nocturnal. you can probably catch her at the library in the middle of the night.
loves weird little knicknacks. like voodoo dolls and like shrunken heads or like other weird stuff you find in the corners of antique shops and stuff. her side of her dorm is probably full of them so rip to her roommate.
really loves skulls and other modern kind of contradictory things on fine china. learnt to make the designs herself cause there isn’t nearly enough of them, but she just does it for herself as a hobby like she doesn’t sell them or anything.
learnt to weld on a whim. catch jude in her dorm welding things to make sculptures out of metal.
bisexual as hell theydies.
spent a lot of her teenage years with her godmother but i’m too tired to get into that rn i might add to this later
loves poetry and novels, but likes the flowery shit yk, the stuff that makes you feel something.
is a good student for the most part but is horrible in math and science. sits in on english and classics courses for fun though.
is v english and therefore very particular about her tea.
i do headcannon that julie is fine and okay and just living that finding carter life so if anyone was wondering yeah she’s out there somewhere and alive with a new kidnapper mom yk
a bit witchy. the kind who washes her door in rosemary and sunwater because she believes in that kind of thing and doesn’t understand why people don’t. that said, she doesn’t believe in god even a little bit but she goes to church every sunday anyways just to admire the stained glass and ask very specific questions to spark debate. she also just genuinely likes the vibe of jesus. not god, but jesus, she’s cool with.
unfortunately is a dirty smoker. smokes nicotine and weed. probably vapes.
the type to quote poetry when she’s drunk or high. can be very annoying because she always thinks that she’s like transcended into another world.
i have a feeling in my heart that she’s really bizarre and she was really bizarre as a child after losing julie. big lilo from lilo and stitch vibes yk. just weird and sentimental and lonely.
has a pet rabbit named julius.
doesn’t tend to talk about her dead missing sister so unless you think your muse would know about it she probably wouldn’t tell them i’m ngl
as for personality i have no clue!!! this is my first time playing her so i’m gonna figure it out yk
WANTED CONNECTIONS. I kinda need a hug but I’d rather DIE than let anyone know I am a human being that desperately craves intimacy
CHILDHOOD FRIEND. please. they can be from anywhere okay i will make it work i live for childhood friend connections.
ENEMIES. i mean why not
BEST FRIENDS. again, pls.
CONFIDANTES. someone she trusts, we love to see it
EXES. i have a feeling that jude is one of those ‘i’m gonna leave before you leave me’ kind of people, so she definitely could have self sabotaged this kind of thing
MUSE. self explanatory but consider this: please.
CRUSH. jude has a crush on your muse or vice versa
FAMILY FRIEND. self explanatory, but it could be wild that’s all i’m saying.
and other stuff ofc, but my brain is so tired y’all i have to knock out

[Doorgestuurd van Gerard Le Noble]
‼️Belangrijk delen‼️
Daar gaat 'ie🍿:
Wie is Klaus Schwab?
Zijn boek “Covid-19: The Great Reset” staat vol met plannen.
In sommige landen (o.a.
Zoals in 2014, toen de WHO in Kenia duizenden vrouwen tegen ‘Tetanus’ vaccineerde.

There are secrets hidden in the colors you can't see.
(from this Reddit post, by J.L.)
Do you know what color a cockroach is? If you said brown, then you’re wrong. Its Vis. And Cimex. And it has slight hints of Foedus as well.
That’s not gibberish. Those are colors that you can’t see. But I can.
I am the first documented human being with pentrachromatic vision.
That means that I have five different types of cone cells in my eyes. Almost every human being is a trichromat. That means there are three types cone cells in their eyes. These cells can each distinguish around 100 individual shades, but they mix together with one another - which means that the average trichromat can see about a million different colors. As a pentrachromat, I can see around ten billion.
No other mammal can do that. Only pigeons and a few butterflies. If this doesn’t sound like a big deal, then let me ask you a question - What’s the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen? A sunset? A rainbow?
Mine was a Hostess Twinkie. I was in a 7-11 and I saw a bunch of them sitting in a box on one of the shelves. Whatever chemicals they put in those things all have their own colors. Together, they create this beautiful swirling mosaic. Kind of makes the Twinkie less appetizing, but certainly better to look at. These colors are indescribable. I mean that in the literal sense – I can’t describe them to you. Color is an inherently private event. For the same reason you can’t tell that the shade of blue you see on a lid of I Can’t Believe it’s not Butter is the same as the shade of blue that your boss sees, I can’t tell you what most of the colors I see look like.
There are some things that I didn’t even know had color until I became a pentrachromat. Movement has color – every time something moves it creates a faint trail of a color that I can only describe as energetic. I’ve taken to calling this color Vis. Most fruits are multi-colored, but trichromatic eyes only pick up on the primary color present in them. If peaches looked to you how they do to me then you probably wouldn’t eat them anymore. I wasn’t born a pentrachromat. I was born with boring old trichromatic vision just like you. Then I got in a car accident. You know what color the sparks are when two pieces of metal collide? I call it Enk. That’s the sound my wife’s car made when it hit the Subaru next to us. It’s actually a comforting color – it evokes the same kind of feeling that you get when you smell wood smoke. Blood isn’t just red anymore. It’s also Cruor. Blood was the last thing I saw before I lost my vision. Victoria was driving. She was drunk, but not as drunk as I was. We were fighting. It was my fault.
“Was she worth it John? Was she worth ending all that we’ve had together?”
She wasn’t. Hiring a prostitute was never something that I thought I would do. Losing my marriage was never something that I thought I would do. But I had grown bored with our marriage. I wanted something new.
I didn’t know that wanting something new would mean she would let go of the wheel. As the car swerved onto the shoulder, I tried to pull the steering wheel back. I pulled too hard. We slammed into a car that had just pulled into the far right lane. A 17-year old girl was behind the wheel. The collision snapped her spine in half. She died in a pool of her own blood.
Our car spun out and crashed into the median. Victoria was thrown from the car. My seatbelt pinned me to the seat. The windshield exploded into a million pieces.
Broken glass has a whole slew of colors present in it. Too many to name.
Glass rained down on me. It sliced through my skin like it was clay. Two big shards lodged themselves in my eyes. The last thing I saw was blood. The last thing I heard was Victoria screaming. “God! It hurts! Please god it hurts!”
I’m not sure when I woke up. Without my vision I was helplessly adrift in a sea of darkness. After a while, I heard a voice asking me if I could hear it. It was a woman’s voice. A nurse.
“Yes. Where am I?”
She told me I was in the hospital and that I had been in an accident. I couldn’t see her face, but I could tell she was frowning when she told me that I was going to be blind for the rest of my life.
As it turns out, you don’t need eyes to cry your eyes out. That’s all I did for the first few days. No doctor could help me. After a week of living in my own personal darkness, someone up above took pity on me. They called a specialist. He was working on an experimental procedure.
“How much?”
“No money. I’ll do the procedure for free.” He had a slimy, southern accent.
“What’s the catch?”
Mr. Southern Gentleman was from a testing facility in Giliman County, Colorado that was working on bio-mechanical enhancements. They needed somebody whose eyeballs had been destroyed but somehow still had functioning optic nerves. Someone who still had full brain function and could describe what they saw. Someone desperate enough that they wouldn’t mind being a human guinea pig. That was me.
The surgery took four hours. They had warned me beforehand that my experimental eyes would be more powerful than my original eyes. They didn’t warn me that my pentrachromatic eyes would see things that mankind wasn’t meant to see.
After the procedure, the first thing that struck me was my finger nails. They were colorful in a way I had never seen before. I asked the nurse if she had painted them. She hadn’t. Her fingernails were also colorful. As it turns out, fingernails aren’t colorless. They’re a color I call Foedus. It’s probably for the best you can’t see it. It’s not a pretty color. The nurse’s breath was a color I called Nubila. Most people’s breath is still colorless to me but if a person smokes cigarettes regularly enough then it becomes Nubila.
Growing used to being able to see again meant growing used to all the new colors. Everything looks different than it did before. People’s faces are so complexly colored that it’s easier to identify someone by the random patches of color on them then by the actual shape of their face. It’s comical that there is so much fighting about skin color in the world because when you can see 10 billion colors the slight chromatic differences between black and white don’t make a difference.
Sometimes I think that my new vision is a positive thing. But then I’m reminded of when I first laid my new eyes on my wife. I’m reminded of the things no man should have to see.
The first time I saw her was two months after the accident. Victoria had been more heavily injured than me. When she was thrown from the car it shattered the bones in both her arms and legs. The bone fragments tore up her musculature pretty bad. It took 12 hours of surgery to save her life. They had to amputate everything. Her skin was so burned by the asphalt that it took four skin grafts to restore her face. They never got it quite right.
I thought I was prepared for Victoria to be a quadriplegic. Doctors explained her condition ahead of time and warned me that it would be gruesome. They warned me that her limbs would be nothing more than stubs. But they couldn’t see what I could see. They couldn’t have warned me that there would still be something where her limbs had once been.
Four ghostly blobs extended from her bandaged arms and legs. They had the shape of her missing appendages, but they were contorted and bent at weird angles. When she moved the stubs the blobs followed as if they were the original limbs, albeit broken. They were a color that I’ve come to call Anima.
I dread seeing the color Anima. It appears in very… consistent circumstances. Most amputees have Anima limbs sprouting from their stubs. The air around graveyards and crematoriums is tinted Anima. Occasionally, the meat you get at the grocery store has an Anima aura emanating from it, but only if it’s really fresh. For a while, I thought that Anima was the color of death. Last week I learned what it really is.
Victoria passed away last Monday. It’s been almost a year since the accident. I guess it was her time. My wonderful Victoria fought as long as she could, but eventually her body gave up. She died in our bed while I was in the shower. I was heartbroken when I found her. Only when she was gone did I realize how much I took her presence for granted. I called 911 and laid down next to her while I waited for the ambulance to arrive.
Her last days had been hard for the both of us. Even with heavy medication, Victoria experienced constant phantom pain in her missing limbs. On the nights she was able to sleep through the pain, she usually had vivid dreams about the accident. I tried to push the thought of it out of my mind, but I was reminded of the crash every time I laid eyes on her ghostly limbs. When her time came, I secretly hoped her passing would be a relief for the both of us.
It was a beautiful funeral. I picked out the flowers. She would have liked them, even if she couldn’t have seen all the colors in them that I could. When I got home I saw that there was a stain on the bed where her body had been. It looked familiar.
It was Anima. The color of her ghostly limbs.
I changed the sheets. After a few hours another stain developed. I changed them again. The stain came back. No matter how many times I washed the sheets the stain kept coming back.
I started sleeping on the couch to get away from it. Looking at the Anima colored fabric just reminded me of her death. Two days ago, I was in our bedroom changing clothes and I noticed that the stain had disappeared. In the space inches above where it had been there was now an Anima-colored cloud floating in the air. It was moving. Over the course of the next few hours, the cloud took on a humanoid shape. The shape of my Victoria.
Last night, the Anima cloud got out of bed. Its movement is painstakingly slow, but somehow very humanlike. This morning it was standing in the kitchen when I made breakfast. I tried to ask my neighbor if he could see the shape too, but he just looked at me like I was crazy.
Only my special eyes can see the Anima figure. It doesn’t have a face or anything but I can still tell its staring at me. It follows me everywhere. It sits in the passenger seat when I drive my car, stands next to me at the bank, watches me while I shower. Its right behind me even as we speak. A dark, indescribably-colored visage of my dead wife. Staring at me. Watching me with eyes that aren’t there.
I’ve tried to outrun it but it always catches up with me. It won’t leave me alone. Anima won’t stop following me. Anima isn’t the color of death. The thing following me can’t be dead because it always knows where I am. It moves just like Victoria used to move. It’s her. I know that it’s her.
I see Anima clouds like her everywhere now, following people. They’re in the shape of our loved ones. The ones who can’t bear to tear themselves away from us. Most people have one. If you’ve lost a loved one, then you probably do. Only my eyes can see them.
Victoria – if it really is you in that cloud, then I’m sorry for everything I did wrong. I’m sorry for all the words I never got a chance to say. Please don’t follow me anymore. I just want to be alone. I know you can read this.
STOP STARING AT ME VICTORIA.
I don’t think Anima is the color of death. That things that follow us are alive, at least in their own way. They’re the souls of the departed. Souls that are trapped. Souls that can’t stop following us. Man was never meant to see Anima. We were never meant to know what happens to us when we die.
I see the colors you cannot and they hide a horrible secret. There is no heaven or hell. When we die, we don’t move on. We stay and watch, silently, until the end of time.
Please leave me alone Victoria. Please stop staring at me.

Internet and the Youth
The internet can be one’s friend along with someone’s mortal enemy. In today’s society, an individual can access the internet from almost anywhere. From the Himalayan mountains, to the city of San Francisco, if someone has a smartphone device or a GPS unit, there is access to the internet. With incidences and further research, we have found that with power, comes great responsibility, however the power has no true owner and it is getting a little out of hand. Today, I will be touching upon the ideology of mine v.s. ours, the lack of human touch, and modern parenting, or rather, the lack thereof.
There is a clear understanding that the internet belongs to no certain individual. Because of that, everyone is entitled to their own slice of the interweb. With that slice, the user has the artistic freedom to do whatever they want with it! This kind of mentality can be problematic as that slice of pie is public, and anyone on the internet can see what is going on. It raises question once you begin to, “...explore the extent to which that conduct is morally and ethically sensitive. That is, to what extent do our habits of connectivity coincide with an inclination to pursue our own agendas rather than increase our sensitivity to the perspectives of others and our attachment to communities? To what extent do we treat the Internet as my space versus our space?”(77). In regards to “my space”, I would like to first begin talking about Instagram influencers. Instagram is a great platform to share photos, quotes---really anything! Initially, the platform was used to share photos, but with creativity comes making things unique. In the sense of unique comes a certain breed of instagram users that go by the title, Instagram Influence. This title has good and bad connotations. It definitely pushes for a “my space” kind of format. If someone stumbles upon the influencer’s profile, there is a my way or the highway mentality. You can form your own opinions about that person, comment positive or negative thoughts, shoot them a follow, or even copy their style! At the end of the day, they post whatever gets them their fan base, and with more followers comes more money. As the youth, or even adults stumble upon these influencer accounts, there is a sense of wanting to belong, or perhaps an empty feeling of wanting to become as popular as that particular individual. Maybe that influencer sells sexual poses and dresses in black lingere, but hey, sex sells! Maybe you should give it a try. Maybe, JUST maybe, it will even make you new friends.
This mentality is nothing new! All ages have always had access to various influencers. The only difference is many of the influencers had a talent as opposed to being a rich trust fund baby and incredibly good looking. But hey, if you got it, flaunt it. It does however raise questions to our precious youth. One thing that the book did not cover is a “finsta”. This is where I believe the trouble truly lys. “Finstas” were created for a specific user base to see. Typically there is a photo of a fake user, there is a fake name, a fake bio, and the account is set to private. This makes it impossible for children’s parents to find the account, and also makes it easy to post whatever, and whenever they want! This allows the youth to be just like their instagram influencer without getting scolded by their parents or school. As a dance teacher, I have caught my students making these “finsta” accounts and posting provocative photos, posing inappropriately, and writing disgusting, bad language. All of which is unacceptable. In these cases, I cannot help but blame their parents for gifting them the expensive new iPhone as the children are not mature enough to use the tools at hand.
Next comes the loss of human touch---thanks to all of the lazy parents for this one. When I see a young adult with a child, and the child begins to cry, instead of tending to their child’s needs, they put a screen in front of their face. Whether it be an iPhone, iPad, or whatever other smart device it be, it is easier to distract the child with a t.v. episode or a game rather than deal with the issue in that instance person to person. We find that, “in accordance with J.L. Austin’s speech act theory, the deeper meaning behind our words--- the illocutionary dimension---can be lost when facial cues and intonation are absent. The intended effect on our audiences---the perlocutionarydimension---is therefore vulnerable. The use of emoticons (e.g., :) ), abbreviations (e.g., LOL, J/K), and other cues of intended tone and meaning can certainly help mitigate misinterpretations, but these markers are far from foolproof”(80). Human to human communication is being interfered by a screen. These emoticons and slang words are normalizing electronic communication and condoning hiding behind a screen. Secrets do not make friends, but communicating through a source such as instagram message or snap chat makes it much easier to hide messages from parents, or really anyone. Again, this is an issue. Not to mention, words shared electronically can be easily misinterpreted. A message such as, “Hey, want to come over tonight and watch a movie,” these days can be widely misinterpreted. I know I, for instance, went over to what I thought was a friend’s house to “hang out” when really he meant “hook up”. It made me feel uncomfortable and violated. Luckily, I am old enough to drive and brave enough to say no and leave. I cannot say the same for someone else put in a similar position.
Last but not least, I wanted to go over what it means to be a modern parent. Everyone always jokes around and talks about there not being a handbook to parenting. Every upbringing is different, and unfortunately there is no guidebook, but there is open communication and a set of rules that a parent can enforce from the get go. As I have worked with children for 12 years, I have met many parents with various parenting practices. I can agree that, “overall, adult conversations with youth often contribute to and strengthen the blind spots we often observed among youth. Thus, a key component of the ethics gap is the mentorship gap. Although parents and educators may be well-intentioned in their emphasis on personal safety, their over attention to such concerns leaves little room for discussions about ethics and social responsibility on the web may also result in insufficient support for youth to successfully utilize the great promises of the Web, such as the opportunity to participate in civic and political life”(108). It is important that parents know the difference between mentoring someone and dictating them. Sometimes parents go by the “my way or the highway” saying, but where does that really get you? It is important to work with your child, to pay attention to them, and to become their mentor with a touch of friendship. Till this day, I see parents stuck in the old way of yelling, being violent, and playing the bad cop role constantly. Instead of looking to that person as your hero, you learn tactics of how to be sneaky and ignore them.
I think that parents need to stop being close minded and accept that there are modern ways of parenting. They cannot continue to hand their child a screen at such a young age to shut them up. This only teaches them bad habits. Adjusting to a screen at such a young age only feeds the underlying addiction to internet access. Internet is a privilege and should be treated as one. I do not see anything wrong with owning a cellular device, but I do not think youth should be given a smart phone until they prove to their parents they are responsible and mature enough to handle the accessibility the internet holds.

Last week was the first time I saw these at @costco. I only picked them up to try in my new @ninjakitchen air fryer. They are absolutely delicious. Delicious! While I was eating it I kept thinking how great it was that the noodles weren't overcooked. Then I thought, wow! These are really cheesy. They come in 3 packs of 2 large rolls. One roll is plenty if accompanied by a salad and veggie. I'm going back tomorrow and picking up more! These are #Keto and #GlutenFree!” @realgoodfoods Cannellonis 6-pack for $12.69 (Item 1561775) in the frozen section. EXCERPT:
Lucca tosses the broken plate into the sink. The sound makes me jump but doesn’t scare me as much as when I look away from the sink and find Lucca advancing toward me. I take a hesitant step back.
Instantly, I’m the prey, and he’s the hunter.
Lucca’s chest brushes against mine, and sparks of desire form low in my belly. I lick my bottom lip, wondering what it would be like to kiss him or if he would kiss me back? I’m so caught up in him, in his scent, his body, what I want him to do to me, that I lose focus for a moment. I can’t let the lust drive me alone.
Dark blue eyes pierce my own, and I break the connection taking a step back, putting a breath of space between us. It’s hard to show him my anger when he’s this close.
“I will not be your prisoner here. I will not be trapped in that bedroom. I’m an adult, but more than that, I’m a human being, not an animal you can keep in a cage.”
“I don’t care how old you are and what you think is best for you…” His voice is deep and soft, causing me to look up from his chest and directly into his eyes. His gaze has softened to a dull knife, and for once, in all the time I’ve known him, I feel like I’m seeing him, the real him, for the first time. His thumb brushes against the apple of my cheek, his touch making my skin heat. “Your age doesn’t stop me from protecting you, nor does it stop me from locking you up in that bedroom and keeping you there until you learn to listen to me.”

DIFFERENT TYPES OF CORONAS AND MACHINE LEARNING
CLASSIFICATION OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF CORONAS USING PARAMETRIZATION OF IMAGES AND MACHINE LEARNING
Igor Kononenko, Matjaz Bevk, Sasa Sadikov, Luka Sajn University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Computer and Information Science, Ljubljana, Slovenia Abstract We describe the development of computer classifiers for various types of coronas. In particular, we were interested to develop an algorithm for detection of coronas of people in altered states of consciousness (two-classes problem). Such coronas are known to have rings (double coronas), special branch-like structure of streamers and/or curious spots. Besides detecting altered states of consciousness we were interested also to classify various types of coronas (six-classes problem). We used several approaches to parametrization of images: statistical approach, principal component analysis, association rules and GDV software approach extended with several additional parameters. For the development of the classifiers we used various machine learning algorithms: learning of decision trees, naïve Bayesian classifier, K-nearest neighbors classifier, Support vector machine, neural networks, and Kernel Density classifier. We compared results of computer algorithms with the human expert’s accuracy (about 77% for the two-classes problem and about 60% for the six-classes problem). Results show that computer algorithms can achieve the same or even better accuracy than that of human experts (best results were up to 85% for the two-classes problem and up to 65% for the six-classes problem). 1. Introduction Recently developed technology by dr. Korotkov (1998) from Technical University in St.Petersburg, based on the Kirlian effect, for recording the human bio-electromagnetic field (aura) using the Gas Discharge Visualization (GDV) technique provides potentially useful information about the biophysical and/or psychical state of the recorded person. In order to make the unbiased decisions about the state of the person we want to be able to develop the computer algorithm for extracting information/describing/classifying/making decisions about the state of the person from the recorded coronas of fingertips. The aim of our study is to differentiate 6 types of coronas, 3 types in normal state of consciousness: Ia, Ib, Ic (pictures were recorded with single GDV camera in Ljubljana, all with the same settings of parameters, classification into 3 types was done manually): Ia – harmonious energy state (120 coronas) Ib – non-homogenous but still energetically full (93 coronas) Ic – energetically poor (76 coronas) and 3 types in altered states of consciousness (pictures obtained from dr. Korotkov, recorded by different GDV cameras with different settings of parameters and pictures were not normalized – they were of variable size): Rings – double coronas (we added 7 pictures of double coronas recorded in Ljubljana) (90 coronas) Branches – long streamers branching in various directions (74 coronas) Spots – unusual spots (51 coronas) Our aim is to differentiate normal from altered state of consciousness (2 classes) and to differentiate among all 6 types of coronas (6 classes). Figure 1 provides example coronas for each type.
GDV Corona's types 2. The methodology We first had to preprocess all the pictures so that all were of equal size (320 x 240). We then described the pictures with various sets of numerical parameters (attributes) with five different parametrization algorithms (described in more detail in the next section): a) IP (Image Processor – 22 attributes), b) PCA (Principal Component Analysis), c) Association Rules, d) GDV Assistant with some basic GDV parameters, e)GDV Assistant with additional parameters. Therefore we had available 5 different learning sets for two-classes problem: altered (one of Rings, Spots, and Branches) versus non- altered (one of Ia, Ib, Ic) state of consciousness. Some of the sets were used also as six-classes problems (differentiating among all six different types of coronas). We tried to solve some of the above classification tasks by using various machine learning algorithms as implemented in Weka system (Witten and Frank, 2000): Quinlan's (1993) C4.5 algorithm for generating decision trees; K-nearest neighbor classifier by Aha, D., and D. Kibler (1991); Simple Kernel Density classifier; Naïve Bayesian classifier using estimator classes: Numeric estimator precision valuesare chosen based on analysis of the training data. For this reason, the classifier is not an Updateable Classifier (which in typical usage are initialized with zero training instances, see (John and Langley, 1995)); SMO implements John C. Platt's sequential minimal optimization algorithm for training a support vector classifier using polynomial kernels. It transforms the output of SVM Types Ia, Ib and Ic– normal state of consciousness into probabilities by applying a standard sigmoid function that is not fitted to the data. This implementation globally replaces all missing values and transforms nominal attributes into binary ones (see Platt, 1998; Keerthi et al., 2001); Neural networks: standard multilayared feedforward neural network with backpropagation of errors learning mechanism (Rumelhart et al., 1986). SMO algorithm can be used only for two-classes problems, while the other algorithms can be used on two-classes and on six-classes problems. Types Branches, Rings and Spots– altered states of consciousness Figure 1: Example coronas for each type. Full text PDF: 2004-Kononenko-altered-coronas References Aha, D., and D. I lived in the perfect small town in Alabama. I married my high school sweetheart. We were expecting our first child together. Everything was falling into place. Until it wasn’t. Life gets complicated sometimes. You can be happily married one minute and divorced the next. You can become a single father to a newborn baby when that was never in your plans. You can fall for your ex-wife’s best friend. Yes, life gets complicated. Sometimes it takes something complicated to make everything else fall into place again. *𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬. 𝐈𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥-𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥. I live in a very small town in Alabama. Never lived anywhere else. I’ve been writing since my early twenties, but I couldn’t seem to finish a book. I started self-publishing with the encouragement from my mom. Without her encouragement, I don’t think I would’ve done it! I get my inspiration from life experiences, movies, television, other authors, and music. Music is definitely a big influence on my writing. I can hear a song and it can inspire an entire book for me. I listen to it while I’m driving or before I start writing and it keeps me inspired. I like to put music in my books, even if it’s just one song the characters listen to or hear at some point. Sometimes music has gotten me through the really tough times in my life and that’s why it inspires me. I like to write fast-paced, steamy romance reads. I like for my males to be alpha-males and my heroines to be strong, but both need to have one weakness- each other. I am an avid reader. I absolutely love romance books!
