Brandon and Brian Casey (October 13, 1975) are identical twins R&B singers known for being part of the group Jagged Edge. They’re known for the albums J.E. Heartbreak and Jagged Little Thrill, which combined to go platinum three times.
They grew up singing in church and got more involved in music, and writing lyrics when the family moved to Atlanta.
They were originally in a group called Twin AK, which morphed into Jagged Edge.
Their father was a member of the Hartford Board of Education.
They helped write Usher’s song “Nice and Slow.” #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

This was the girl God was referring to in my dream with Rachel and Tiny’s daughter. May she rest in peace. How sad 😔💔
I am always shocked at what is revealed to me by God. Seriously 😳 …
Recall the initials J.E., the glasses frame and the HAIRSTYLE 💇🏾‍♀️

Also let us talk about men and abortion since this sick individual obviously panicked when this young girl told him she was pregnant. He definitely didn’t want her to keep the child because it would expose his nastiness and double life. So when you vote this November remember there are MORE men than women who do not want the financial, economical or emotional burden of becoming fathers even MORE than some women (guess who pays child support??? 💰). When you vote this November remember young girls like Na’Ziyah who were groomed and used by men for SEX and then when the reality of having a child actually hits them, you’re a slut, a h*e, a gold digging b***** and he proceeds to dispose of you (and his baby) when you tell him you missed your period.
How many of us have accidentally (or irresponsibly) gotten pregnant only to have a man berate and verbally abuse us, having an adult tantrum over not wanting to keep a child he helped to father. Remember TRUMP took this fundamental right away not just from women but from men too. The same man that is ok with grabbing an unsuspecting women’s “p*ssy” without consent, the same man CONVICTED of sexual assault, and then some ppl call themselves Christians knowing this about that man. It’s shameful. But no one wants to have that conversation and wants to, instead blame women. This doesn’t negate the fact we should be celibate, I’m stating UNCOMFORTABLE TRUTHS whether you agree or not with abortion… this is the REALITY so many women AND men face in PRIVATE.
God told me the topic of abortion should be left up to each individual (female and male bc it takes two right?) and a doctor as each persons needs and health issues are different than the next. Would he prefer we have our children after marriage? Absolutely 👍🏾 Would he prefer we abstain? For sure…but even while married a woman may not be able to carry a child to full term and that choice should have nothing to do with the government intervening in that deeply personal and heartbreaking decision 💔 I heard something about Down syndrome. Let’s not forget sickle cell anemia.
People want to talk about “freedom of speech and the freedom to carry a loaded gun” but a woman cannot have freedom over her own VAGINA and UTERUS??? Please make it make sense.
No government has any right to tell a woman when she can and cannot have a child and you don’t have to be religious to support a woman’s right to choose what’s best for her and her family.
Children are beautiful and life is a gift but it is not always that simple for some people. It is not that black and white for women and men alike, and God knows this. I am not making an excuse for SIN because sometimes it’s not even about that, it’s about HEALTH. Pregnancy has always been a life or death experience for women since the days of Adam and Eve’s curse.

Album Review by Bradley Christensen Jagged Edge – J.E. Heartbreak Record Label: January 18 2000 Release Date: So So Def
Remember in the 90s and early 00s when boy bands, girl groups, and R&B groups were a thing? I remember so many from that era, and I’ve listened to a lot from that era, too, such as Jodeci, Dru Hill, *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, The Spice Girls, Destiny’s Child, and so, so many more, but you don’t hear them anymore. I mean, boy bands, I guess, and there are a couple of girl groups around, but it’s not to the same level of popularity (or even quality) anymore. I mean, I’m not saying that these guys are critically acclaimed or absolutely amazing, but they’re memorable. I mean, I just listened through a couple of *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys albums, listening to the former for the first time in a few years, and it’s amazing at how catchy, energetic, and memorable these pop records were (and still are). R&B groups in particular have seemingly gone extinct, whereas the pop groups still exist in some capacity, and that’s a shame, because these groups are quite good. I love Jodeci, for instance; I’ve listened to a couple of their albums, and when I talked about them last fall, they were great R&B / hip-hop soul albums. There’s another R&B group that I’ve always wanted to listen to, though, and that’s Jagged Edge. These guys were around in the late 90s and early 00s, releasing their first major album in 2000, entitled J.E. Heartbreak. That’s supposed to be a reference to a New Edition album, which is kind of funny, but I can’t say I’m familiar with New Edition, but they seem like a group that I would enjoy. I came across that album at FYE, though, and it was around $9.99, which isn’t a bad price, but when I saw the album at $5.99 at Best Buy, well, that’s when I decided to check it out. I’ve been thinking about giving the album a listen, and within the last week, I decided to go just ahead and check it out. That’s because I wanted to get into some other albums that I’ll be talking about soon enough, but for now, I’ll be talking about J.E. Heartbreak.
I’ll admit that I wasn’t familiar with this group before I picked up this album, aside from just hearing their name, but I was still excited to check this out. Honestly, this LP is quite good, even great, but it does have some problems. Let’s get the best thing out of the way first – the vocals. The vocals, specifically the harmonies, are amazing. They are top notch. I love the hooks, too, as they’re very well done. The vocals are definitely the best part of the album, and they’re great. This group has some of the best vocalists in this R&B group / hip-hop soul style that I’ve listened to a decent amount, and yeah, if you’re looking for some quality vocalists in that scene, give this LP a shot. Aside from the vocals, though, I’m relatively mixed on everything else. Not that anything is outright bad (well, maybe Ja Rule’s verse on “Girl Is Mine,” despite how the song itself is straight fire, and it’s one of the best songs on the album), but nothing is amazing, either. The overall sound is cool, as I like the hip-hop soul thing, and the R&B thing, but the sound is very repetitive, samey, and it drags on a bit. When the songs hit, they really hit, though, as “Let’s Get Married,” “Girl Is Mine,” and “Keys To The Range,” just to name a few, are awesome songs. Some tracks, though, just don’t do much for me, because they sound like better moments on the album. The lyrics, too, they’re a mix between really solid and just not interesting. “Let’s Get Married,” for example, is a great track and the lyrics are very sweet, but the lyrics just aren’t that interesting a lot of the time. They’re very generic, lackluster, and typical for this style of music, but I can give them a pass for that, since it’s hard to constantly reinvent the same topics over and over. At the same time, though, I’ve heard these topics done better, or at least a little more interesting, but it was the early 00s, so I mean, it’s whatever.
That’s not to say this LP isn’t good, and it begs the question of whether or not an album can be considered great if it has a single element that’s amazing. It all depends on who you’re talking to. People that aren’t into this style of music might not get into it, because there isn’t any crossover appeal to it, which is why you probably why you haven’t heard of this group if you’re not into R&B, but if you do like this style, check it out. It’d be right up your alley, but it’s nothing that will blow your mind. In terms of early 00s R&B and soul, this is good stuff, but I, personally, wouldn’t call it a great album. With that said, there are great things in it, and the vocals are the best thing about it, hands down. These vocals are seriously some of the best I’ve ever heard in an R&B record, and for those alone, they’re worth taking a look at. This LP is worth a listen, just for the vocals, but if you’re into this kind of music, the rest of the album isn’t bad, either. It’s just that the rest of the sound isn’t too unique or amazing, as well as the lyrics, too, since they’re pretty standard for the genre. I’m happy that I checked this out, though, even if it took awhile, because I like what they do. I like what this band has to offer, and I enjoy the sound overall, too. I’m into R&B music quite heavily, especially now, but it does take a bit more for me to be truly impressed. I don’t know if I’d call this LP an underrated classic, but the vocals alone make this LP worth listening to. I love the vocals and the harmonies on this LP, but the songs can get a bit repetitive, boring, and generic, even though they’re still good. I would listen to this record if you’re into R&B, or listened to all of these R&B groups back in the day (or now, because this type of music holds up quite well to this day). It’s not like this album is dated at all, or even terrible, but it’s a pretty standard album for the genre, despite how great the vocals really are.
